Abstract

Sports content communication by Semarang Mayor Hendrar Prihadi through his Instagram, @hendrarprihadi ahead of the 2020 elections, is intensifying. The research focuses on political communication Semarang Mayor Hendrar Prihadi through uploading sports content from November 2018 to November 2019. Qualitative research with a constructivist paradigm is carried out through a content analysis approach. The researcher made Semarang Mayor Staff, Gumelar a key informant, Arnaz Agung Andrarasmara, Chair of KONI Semarang, the main informant, and Anas Baharudin, a supporter of Panzer Blue PSIS, supporting informant. The results of the content analysis show that uploading sports content by Semarang Mayor Hendrar Prihadi means that the message tends to be positive and provides support to the sports community. Instagram is an effective communication media in political communication.

Abstract

Kesetaraan gender merujuk pada suatu keadaan setara antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam pemenuhan hak dan kewajiban, namun diskriminasi berdasarkan “perempuan” atau “laki-laki” masih banyak terjadi pada seluruh aspek kehidupan. Dalam menitih sebuah karir wanita harus menghadapi polemik, salah satunya adalah perempuan harus memilih untuk meneruskan kiprahnya dalam dunia kerja atau mengurus keluarga dengan baik dan menjadi ibu rumah tangga. Hal tersebut dikarenakan adanya faktor budaya yang mengatakan bahwa pekerjaan seorang wanita hanyalah berputar pada mengurus rumah tangga. Bahkan ketika wanita telah menempuh jenjang pendidikan yang tinggi tetap dinilai lebih baik kalau berkonsentrasi pada keluarga atau kerja yang bersifat domestic (di dalam rumah tangga) dibandingkan memanfaatkan keahlian dari hasil pendidikan tingginya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan polemik yang dihadapi oleh perempuan Indonesia dalam menitih sebuah karir. Meskipun secara kodrati tugas wanita adalah mengurus keluarga, wanita juga berhak diberikan ruang dan waktu untuk berkiprah atau berkarir guna mencapai cita-citanya sama seperti laki-laki yang berhak mencapai keinginannya tanpa harus memilih keluarga atau karir dan memikirkan sudut pandang masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

Museum Kehutanan adalah lembaga yang dikelola oleh Kementerian LH dan Kehutanan yang mempunyai misi mengedukasi publik dengan pelayanan yang baik. Kesuksesan dan kepuasan dalam pelayanan public tidak lepas dari pengelolaan komunikasi internal dari organisasi pemerintah dengan pegawainya, karena pegawai di bidang pelayanan adalah ujung tombak dalam pelayanan publik. Peran dan fungsi humas pada sebuah organisasi cukup penting dalam pengelolaan komunikasi internal. Salah satunya melalui program pelatihan bagi pegawai pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran dan fungsi Humas Museum Kehutanan dalam pelatihan pelayanan prima. Tipe penelitian bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran dan fungsi kehumasan bagi internal pada Museum Kehutanan dilakukan oleh Bagian Tata Usaha. Pelatihan layanan prima bermanfaat dalam memberikan peningkatan kinerja dari sisi pengetahuan, motivasi, dan kebersamaan.

Abstract

In the context of campaigns and political interests, the image of individuals or political candidates can be created and supported by the public through the mass media. For this reason, it is very important and interesting to be able to see the frame or framing of the second pair of Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin and Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno in the 2019 Election in the Kompas Newspaper mass media. The method used in this research is the analysis of media text content with data analysis through the Robert N. Entman framing model using the constructionism paradigm through qualitative research methods. The results showed Kompas conducted different framing on several news stories on the two Presidential Candidates in the 2019 election. The same framing occurred in several reports in the discussion of human rights issues. Key words: framing, Pemilu 2019, Mass Media, Politic.

Abstract

Abstract: Schizophrenia is one type of mental disorder with the most sufferers after bipolar disorder and depression. It is estimated that 75% of schizophrenics in the age range of 16-25 years are included as age products so that schizophrenics cannot maximize their work and creativity in social life. One effort to improve mental health can be done through therapeutic communication. Helping the relationship as part of therapeutic communication is important to increase patient awareness so that problems that may arise in schizophrenia cases can be handled optimally. This study discusses how to help the relationship between nurses and patients in healing schizophrenia so that it can support the healing of patients. The research method used is a qualitative research method with descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that nurses are "helpers" who have communication competencies at the level of conscious competence and unconscious competence. Mindfulness is key in helping relationships that lead to patient recovery.Key words: therapeutic communication, helping relationship, schizophrenia

Abstract

As time passes, technological developments are increasingly rapid with the aim of facilitating people's lives. The effect of the development of this technology as if entering various aspects of human life, including influencing the way people conduct transactions. The presence of technology changes the way people conduct financial transactions from cash-using transactions into non-cash transactions. One type of non cash transaction is a payment using credit card. Even the community is now greatly facilitated by the presence of online credit. It is hoped that by presenting an online credit application that is expected to be an alternative payment option for the community in conducting transactions.

Abstract

Personal branding studies have become popular in the last decade, but have been practically used for a long time. Personal branding is widely implemented in celebrities, social media and including politics. In the political context, personal branding is one of the strategies for winning elections. Especially in Indonesia it happened because of the change from representative democracy to direct democracy. This has resulted in every Indonesian citizen being able to directly elect candidates for political leadership at both national and local levels. This study aims to describe the personal branding strategy of legislative candidates in the election. Personal branding in the legislature has not appeared much in academic discourse compared to personal branding of the president or regional head. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study of Ir. Ridwan Bae is a politician from the Golkar Party in the Southeast Sulawesi constituency. Three informants were interviewed in a structured and in-depth manner. The results of the interviews were analyzed by thematic analysis using three stages of qualitative coding. Based on the results of the analysis, there are three personal branding strategies, namely image, rational attribution and emotional attribution. In forming this image, there are three important things to pay attention to, namely the general description of the persona, uniqueness and authenticity. Rational attributes used in personal branding strategies are leadership, ability, credibility and consistency. Finally, there are three elements of emotional attributes, namely being role models, party attributions and values.

Abstract

Abstract: of Maluku Maluku UKIM), which must develop itself so that its presence is still considered by the community and able to hook the entire community of the UKIM FM radio community because researchers realize that UKIM FM radio has not been accessed in full by the entire community of the UKIM FM community. The purpose of this study is to be able to describe the UKIM FM radio communication strategy through social media in attracting listeners . This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results showed that the strategy implemented in the program was not a random strategy but with Susan Tyler Eastman's criteria. Compliance Strategy (compability), Events and Programs broadcast to coincide with the time of student activities and respond to the needs of citizens. In general, the program can be said to be successful in attracting listeners through social media because it is able to meet the needs of citizens by presenting programs that are of interest to residents. That success can be achieved from a strategy to attract listeners through Social media.Key words: Communication Strategy, Broadcasting Strategy, Radio, Social Media, Listener

Abstract

So far, generation Z stick to the stereotypes of antisocials, instant, lazy, and difficult to communicate with older generation. Generational differences often cause problems because each generation is attached to certain ideal values that are very likely to be different from one another. This study aims to understand the communication style of generation Z in Magelang City and the maintenance of relationships with previous generations (baby boomers, X, and Y generations). The theory of generation development, the concept of communication style, and relationship maintenance theory are used as analysis tools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research type with a phenomenological approach to explain the social phenomena. The results show that Generation Z avoids the dominant style of communication. “Ngemong” then becomes the key as well as the middle way for the older generation to maintain a harmonious relationship with generation Z. Generation Y can act as an intermediary for both generation X and baby boomers towards the minding process in maintaining relations between generations.

Abstract

Film sebagai sarana informasi memberikan penjelasan tentang suatu permasalahan sehingga penonton dapat memahami isu. Meski demikian, film tidak selalu mengambil kondisi realitas sosial secara utuh, tetapi juga menyelipkan khayalan, fantasi, serta ide-ide abstrak di dalamnya. Dalam upayanya menggambarkan fenomenas sosial yang ada, film dapat menggunakan konsep reinterpretasi dan dekonstruksi. Salah satu fenomena sosial yang terjadi adalah kasus aborsi yang dilakukan oleh remaja berusia 15 tahun di Jambi akibat diperkosa oleh kakak kandungnya sendiri. Kasus tersebut kemudian diangkat kedalam sebuah film berjudul Srinthil. Film Srinthil merupakan film fiksi pendek yang mereinterpretasi dan mendekonstruksi kasus di Jambi tersebut. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana reinterpretasi dan dekonstruksi fenomena sosial pada kasus yang terjadi di Jambi ini dituangkan dalam film Srinthil. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan cara pengumpulan data melalui observasi, anaisis teks film serta wawancara. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa reinterpretasi dan dekonstruksi yang ada dalam film Srinthil dilakukan melalui elemen naratif, yakni pembabakan, penokohan, lokasi dan waktu. Dekonstruksi yang paling penting serta menjadi inti pembutan film ini adalah dekonstruksi pelaku aborsi menjadi korban pemerkosaan.
