Abstract

This study aims to examine the strengthening of leadership character based on the values ​​of the Qur'an as the main foundation in forming leaders who have integrity, morality, and a clear vision. The values ​​contained in the Qur'an, such as justice, wisdom, patience, trustworthiness, and empathy, have an important role in shaping the behavior and decisions of a leader. In this context, leaders are not only seen from the aspect of competence and technical skills alone, but also from the ability to lead with the principles established by Allah SWT. This study identifies various concepts of leadership in the Qur'an, relates them to modern leadership practices, and provides recommendations on how these values ​​can be applied in everyday life by leaders in various sectors. Thus, strengthening leadership character based on the Qur'an is expected to create leaders who are more ethical, responsible, and have a positive impact on society.

Abstract

Abstract The formation of religious moderation through strengthening attitudes of tolerance between religious communities is an important step in creating social harmony in a very heterogeneous society.Religious moderation, which prioritizes a wise attitude and a middle path in religion, is one of the main pillars in maintaining peace and unity.In the context of Indonesia which consists of various tribes, religions, and cultures, an attitude of tolerance between religious communities has a crucial role in reducing the potential for conflict and radicalization.Therefore, this study intends to map the values ​​of tolerance that are implemented in living together in diversity through dialogue, exemplary behavior, regulations or local policies that are very inclusive.Understanding the importance of an attitude of religious moderation can lead someone to an attitude of mutual tolerance and respect.Increasing understanding of the importance of religious moderation can distance one from attitudes of extremism.The results of this study indicate that strengthening religious moderation can be realized through an exemplary and togetherness approach, mutual tolerance in the framework of living together in diversity. Abstract

The role of Aisiyiyah Muhammadiyah in the succes of religious education development in the succes of religious education development in the digital era is signitificant in addressing the challenges of globalization and technological advancements.This study aims to analyze the countributions of Aisiyiyah Muhammadiyah in enhancing the quality of religious education through the utilizationof digital technology. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were colloected thourgh interviews, observations, and document analysis related to Aisiyiyah Muhammadiyah’s programs. The finding reveal that Aisiyiyah Muhammadiyah actively coutributes to religious education development by developing digital platfrom. Abstract

Perundungan (bullying) merupakan fenomena kompleks yang berdampak signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis, perkembangan emosional, serta pembentukan karakter siswa di jenjang sekolah menengah. Keberadaan praktik perundungan dalam lingkungan pendidikan tidak hanya menghambat perkembangan sosial peserta didik, tetapi juga berpotensi menurunkan rasa percaya diri, empati, serta nilai-nilai moral yang seharusnya terbentuk secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program anti-bullying dalam membangun karakter positif pada siswa, termasuk peningkatan sikap empati, toleransi, dan penghormatan terhadap sesama. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur sistematis dengan mengkaji berbagai hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait implementasi program anti-bullying di institusi pendidikan. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penerapan program yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan dapat menurunkan tingkat perundungan hingga 40%, memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter positif dalam diri siswa hingga 85%, serta memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan mental peserta didik. Beberapa faktor utama yang menentukan keberhasilan program ini mencakup pelatihan komprehensif bagi tenaga pendidik, partisipasi aktif siswa dalam upaya pencegahan, keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendukung kebijakan anti-bullying, serta mekanisme evaluasi berkala guna memastikan efektivitas program dalam jangka panjang. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan yang holistik dan berbasis nilai-nilai moral, termasuk prinsip-prinsip etika dalam ajaran Islam, dapat memperkuat efektivitas program anti-bullying dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih aman, inklusif, serta mendukung perkembangan karakter peserta didik secara menyeluruh. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi implementasi yang lebih komprehensif dan sinergis antara sekolah, keluarga, dan komunitas guna membangun budaya anti-bullying yang berkelanjutan dan berdampak positif bagi seluruh elemen pendidikan. Bullying is a complex phenomenon that significantly impacts students' psychological well- being, emotional development, and character formation at the secondary school level. The presence of bullying in educational environments not only hinders students' social development but also potentially reduces their self-confidence, empathy, and moral values, which should ideally develop optimally. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-bullying programs in fostering positive student character, particularly in enhancing empathy, tolerance, and mutual respect. The research employs a systematic literature review approach by analyzing various previous studies on the implementation of anti-bullying programs in educational institutions. Data analysis indicates that structured and sustainable program implementation can reduce bullying incidents by up to 40%, strengthen students' positive character values by up to 85%, and significantly contribute to students' psychological well-being. Several key factors influencing the success of these programs include comprehensive training for educators, active student participation in prevention efforts, parental involvement in supporting anti-bullying policies, and regular evaluation mechanisms to ensure long-term program effectiveness. Findings from this study suggest that a holistic approach grounded in moral values, including ethical principles from Islamic teachings, can enhance the effectiveness of anti-bullying programs in creating a safer, more inclusive learning environment while fostering students' overall character development. Therefore, a more comprehensive and synergistic implementation strategy between schools, families, and communities is necessary to establish a sustainable anti-bullying culture with a positive impact on all educational stakeholders.

Abstract

Optimalisasi Al-Qur’an digital sebagai media pembelajaran bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keislaman, khususnya bagi generasi milenial yang lebih akrab dengan teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi literatur untuk menganalisis efektivitas Al-Qur’an digital dalam mendukung pemahaman ajaran Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fitur interaktif seperti tafsir, hukum tajwid, terjemahan, serta audio bacaan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Selain itu, penggunaan Al-Qur’an digital terbukti mampu meningkatkan ketuntasan dalam membaca Al-Qur’an dan memperdalam pemahaman ajaran Islam. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam penerapannya, seperti keterbatasan akses teknologi, rendahnya literasi digital, serta persepsi konservatif yang menganggap digitalisasi Al-Qur’an mengurangi kesakralannya. Untuk mengatasi hambatan ini, diperlukan strategi optimalisasi yang mencakup pengembangan platform yang lebih ramah pengguna, pelatihan bagi tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik, serta penerapan sistem autentikasi konten guna menjaga keaslian teks Al-Qur’an. Dengan strategi yang tepat, Al-Qur’an digital dapat menjadi alat pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi keislaman di era digital. Implementasi teknologi yang inklusif dan relevan akan memperkaya pengalaman belajar, memperkuat pemahaman nilai-nilai Islam, serta mendukung penguatan karakter religius di kalangan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, digitalisasi Al-Qur’an tidak hanya sekadar inovasi teknologi, tetapi juga menjadi solusi pembelajaran berbasis Islam yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman The optimization of the digital Qur'an as a learning medium aims to enhance Islamic literacy, particularly among the millennial generation who are more familiar with technology. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method through literature review to analyze the effectiveness of digital Qur'an applications in supporting the understanding of Islamic teachings. The findings indicate that interactive features such as tafsir (interpretation), tajweed rules, translations, and audio recitations significantly impact learning quality and students’ motivation. Additionally, the use of digital Qur'an has been proven to improve reading proficiency and deepen comprehension of Islamic teachings. However, several challenges hinder its implementation, including limited technological access, low digital literacy, and conservative perceptions that digitalizing the Qur'an diminishes its sacredness. To address these issues, an optimization strategy is required, which includes developing more user-friendly platforms, providing training for educators and students, and implementing content authentication systems to maintain the authenticity of the Qur'anic text. With the right approach, the digital Qur'an can be an effective educational tool in enhancing Islamic literacy in the digital era. The implementation of inclusive and relevant technology will enrich the learning experience, strengthen the understanding of Islamic values, and support the reinforcement of religious character in society. Therefore, the digitalization of the Qur'an is not merely a technological innovation but also an adaptive Islamic learning solution aligned with the demands of modern times.

Abstract

Public speaking is an essential skill for santrias, the next generation of Islamic preachers. At Pondok Pesantren Assyafi’iyah Putra Bungah Gresik, this skill is enhanced through khitobah activities. This study aims to analyze the implementation of khitobah in improving santri’s speaking abilities, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and evaluate its effectiveness in building their confidence when speaking in public. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through observations, in-depth interviews with santri, administrators, mentors, and documentation of khitobah activities. The findings indicate that regular khitobah sessions significantly contribute to enhancing santri’s speaking skills. The main supporting factors for this program’s success include motivation from mentors, support from pesantren administrators, rewards for the best-performing santri, and consistency in conducting khitobah activities. However, several challenges remain, such as some santri's lack of confidence in speaking publicly, limited awareness of the importance of this skill, and insufficient experience in addressing an audience. To overcome these obstacles, the pesantren can optimize technology-based training methods, strengthen mentoring systems for less confident santri, and organize speech competitions to boost their competitive spirit. With more effective strategies and continuous improvements, khitobah can become a more optimal instrument in shaping santri who are not only proficient in public speaking but also have a deep understanding of the material they deliver.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the One day Boarding program in forming and strengthening the Islamic character of Muhammadiyah Middle School and MTS students in Sidoarjo district. Education is the most important thing in the progress of a nation and is one of the main factors in creating a valuable and civilized life in society. The values referred to are life values that are in accordance with religious and national norms in order to strengthen the character of people's lives in general, so that from an early age all educational programs should be directed at the process of strengthening students' Islamic character which includes moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. The strong current of societal cultural disruption in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is a challenge in itself and requires extraordinary effort. This era relies on the intellectual engineering of artificial intelligence and the internet of things as well as big data which opens up unlimited space and opportunities for anyone to access information and interact virtually quickly and easily and at very low costs. The disruption society that is emerging does not only concern economic and technological aspects but also political, social, cultural, moral and even religious aspects. "One Day Boarding" is a program designed to strengthen students' character based on the values of the Al-Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. This research is descriptive qualitative research so that research data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the one day barding program is quite effective in cultivating and strengthening the Islamic character of Muhammadiyah Middle School and MTS students in the Sidoarjo district.

Abstract

This research was conducted as an analysis of the gaps that occur in Al-Islam Education. The label of religion that can become a dogma in society about behavior that good and bad activities be so as to encourage people to behave well, in fact no longer works. The increasingly widespread moral degradation is taken seriously by the government with the existence of differentiated learning in the Merdeka Curriculum which can build a pleasant and meaningful learning atmosphere so that the values of Islamic teachings can be conveyed completely. This study used qualitative research with primary data through interviews with Al-Islam Education teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. Data processing and analysis techniques gradually through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. This research shows that the implementation of differentiated learning in Al-Islam Education at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo is carried out well and systematically through 3 stages, namely planning, learning, implementing learning, and evaluating learning. The planning stage is carried out training related to learning, diagnostic assessment, formulation of learning outcomes, learning objectives, Learning Objectives Flow (ATP), and teaching modules. The implementation stage is a means for teachers, students, and learning resources to interact with the principle of independence so that teachers organize learning based on the needs of students. The last stage is evaluation, both formative carried out during learning and summative contained at the end of learning aimed at assessing and improving the learning that has been carried out.

Abstract

We often encounter the phenomenon of bullying in everyday life, whether it occurs in schools, workplaces or social environments. Not a few people in our society think that bullying only takes the form of physical violence, even though in fact bullying does not only take the form of physical violence, but also verbal violence. The Islamic religion very strictly prohibits all acts of violence, including bullying. This is found in Q.S Al-Hujurat: 11. The research method used in this research is a qualitative literature study method by examining journals/articles available online. The literature used is literature covering the last five years with the aim of studying the latest topics and developments regarding bullying. The results found in this research are the types of bullying, including physical, non-physical, relational and cyberbullying, the impact felt by victims and perpetrators which can have long or short term consequences, as well as efforts to overcome the phenomenon of bullying from a religious perspective. Islam is divided into two classifications, namely for victims and for perpetrators.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss: (1) How is ta'zir implemented at the Fadliliah Tambak Sumur Waru Islamic Boarding School, Sidoarjo?; (2) How does ta'zir at the Fadlillah Tambak Sumur Waru Islamic Boarding School, Sidoarjo, apply discipline to students? This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, participant observation and documentation. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data is carried out through extended participation, diligent or consistent observation, triangulation and peer checking. The results of this research explain that (1) the Fadlillah Waru Sidoarjo Islamic Boarding School provides disciplinary guidance to students in order to achieve educational goals in the Islamic boarding school environment. This disciplinary action takes the form of giving punishment (ta'zir), for example going bald, destroying the Koran and so on. Disciplinary action against students at the Fadlillah Waru Sidoarjo Islamic boarding school is a way of disciplining boarding school administrators towards problematic students so that they obey the rules that have been set and agreed upon by the management of the boarding school. The application of punishment is also understood as a means of educating students so that it has a deterrent effect and does not repeat it again; (2) Ta'zir is considered an effective method in the process of disciplining students. However, this does not necessarily become the main step in the disciplinary action. Sometimes these actions actually make students feel depressed.
