Abstract

Kompetensi profesional guru sangat penting untuk dikembangkan karena menentukan kemampuan guru dalam menjalankan proses pembelajaran yang efektif sehingga membantu peserta didik mendapatkan hasil belajar yang baik, terkhusus pada program madrasah diniyah.  Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumtasi serta reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan data adalah teknik analis data yang digunakan. SD Khazanah Ilmu Wage Sidoarjo adalah salah satu sekolah yang menerapkan program madrasah diniyah. Namun di sisi lain, kondisi di lapangan ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi pada guru madrasah diniyah terkait kompetensi profesional guru, dikhawatirkan berdampak pada hasil belajar yang dicapai oleh peserta didik. Terdapat tiga problematika utama profesionalisme yang terjadi pada guru madrasah diniyah, antara lain yaitu rencana pembelajaran yang kurang tersusun baik, metode pembelajaran yang minim kreativitas, dan keterbatasan pemanfaatan teknologi untuk media pembelajaran. Pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru dalam program madrasah diniyah perlu dilakukan untuk menguatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui beberapa solusi. Harapannya dapat mengatasi problematika profesionalisme guru madin terjadi. Upaya tersebut antara lain yaitu supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah, keikutsertaan dalam KKG (Kelompok Kerja Guru), dan pengadaan kegiatan pelatihan oleh sekolah. The professional competence of teachers is crucial to develop as it determines their ability to conduct effective learning processes, helping students achieve good learning outcomes, particularly in the madrasah diniyah program. This study falls under field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. SD Khazanah Ilmu Wage Sidoarjo is one of the schools implementing the madrasah diniyah program. However, on the ground, several issues concerning the professional competence of madrasah diniyah teachers were identified, raising concerns about their potential impact on students' learning outcomes. Three main issues regarding teacher professionalism in madrasah diniyah were identified: poorly structured lesson plans, lack of creativity in teaching methods, and limited use of technology as a teaching medium. Efforts to develop teachers' professional competence in the madrasah diniyah program are necessary to strengthen students' learning outcomes through various solutions. These efforts aim to address the issues of teacher professionalism and include academic supervision by the school principal, participation in teacher working groups (KKG), and the organization of training activities by the school.

Abstract

The era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays an important role in developing the transversal skills needed by students to face challenges in the modern world. This research aims to explore how PAI can contribute to the development of skills such as adaptability, collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, and effective communication. Through a literature study approach, this research analyzes various relevant scientific references, including academic journals and articles discussing the integration of religious values with 21st-century skills. The results of the study indicate that PAI not only serves as a means of teaching religious values but also as a tool to equip students with applicable skills in everyday life. Thus, PAI has the potential to shape a generation that is morally upright and ready to compete in an increasingly complex digital era.

Abstract

This article discusses the integration of existentialism values into Islamic education, particularly in the context of developing students' potential. Existentialism, as a philosophical movement emphasizing individual freedom, the search for meaning in life, and personal responsibility, offers a distinct approach to education that is more authentic and based on free thinking. On the other hand, Islamic education emphasizes the importance of morality, piety, and social responsibility in all aspects of learning. This article examines how these two perspectives can be integrated within Islamic education, identifying both the opportunities and challenges encountered in its application. The opportunities found include providing space for students' personal development, while the main challenge lies in balancing free thinking with religious obligations. The article suggests the implementation of a flexible curriculum based on students' interests, as well as the development of an approach that combines individual freedom with Islamic values, guiding students toward a meaningful and responsible life. Abstract

This study explores the integration of empiricism and rationalism and its implications for Islamic Religious Education. Using a qualitative approach and literature study method, it analyzes the perspectives of empiricism and rationalism in the philosophy of science and their relevance to religious teaching. The study reviews classic works of philosophers like John Locke and René Descartes, alongside contemporary literature. Findings reveal that the empirical approach, emphasizing experience through worship and socio-religious activities, enhances students' understanding of religious teachings. Simultaneously, rationalism fosters critical reflection, enabling students to logically analyze and connect religious teachings with contemporary life. Integrating these approaches in the PAI curriculum creates holistic, effective, and practical learning. Theoretically, this supports the development of integrated religious education concepts, while practically, it encourages contextual teaching methods relevant to current challenges. However, the study is limited in its scope of application across diverse school types and does not assess the long-term impact of this integration. Future research should include longitudinal studies to evaluate the effectiveness of this integration in improving students' understanding and application of religious teachings across varied educational contexts. This would further enrich the conceptual and practical framework of Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

This discussion regarding Qadariyah and Jabariyah is very important considering that Qadariyah and Jabariyah are considered as an understanding of one problem, not as a school with various specific discussion themes and discussion methods. The purpose of this discussion is to find out the meaning, background and main points of Jabariyah and Qadariyah teachings. This research is a literature review research. The results of this research are that Jabariyah is a group that believes in the inability of humans to carry out any activity, and that all actions they have taken are nothing but decrees from Allah SWT, while Qadariyah is a group that rejects qadar (God's decree), namely a group that does not believe in There is God's decree for all affairs/cases. Jabariyah emerged since the time of the Companions and the Umayyad era. Meanwhile, the emergence of the qadariyah was motivated as a signal against the political policies of the Umayyads.

Abstract

Many pesantren believe that keeping up with technological advancements in the societal era is not necessary, even though many alumni and students are not very communicative with the pesantren, creating a gap that inhibits the learning at the pesantren from being completely imparted. However, with the continuously transforming times, there will certainly be more religious issues that require experts, namely asaatidz and kiai, to adress these problems. The aim of this research is to provide an explanation of how virtual pesantren can be used as a reference strategy to enchance Islamic education in the society era, how resources are used for planning and implementation in order to maximise learning through digital technology, and the opportunities and difficulties that arise from the utilization of this strategy. This research applies the field research method, specifically using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique used is to produce accurate explanations from the observed participants through observation and interviews, which involves delivering information in the form of written or spoken words. The results found in this study indicate that the virtual pesantren as a means of enhaching Islamic education at the Ummul Quroo Islamic boarding school has a significant impact. For alumni and students who are unable to access it, the Pesantren has made a variety of social media sites available as a learning tool. In order to create high-quality pesantren, a number of digital technology components must be established, including the coordination and creation of digital platforms such as website in the Islamic education process. The conclusion that may be formed based on real information about the development of digital technology at the Ummul Quroo Islamic Boarding school, which demonstrates that the boarding school can be more proactive in producing communicative alumni using social media as an intermediary. Abstract

Etymologically, Shia comes from the Arabic word Syia'ah, which means follower. Shia can also mean follower, supporter, lover, or it can also mean group. Thus, if Shia means the expression Shia Ali, it means followers of Ali, or in a simple sense, Shia is a group of Muslims who in their spiritual and religious fields always refer to the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or what are called Ahlul-Bait. In terms of terminology, Shia is a sect or ideology that idolizes Ali bin Abi Talib and his descendants are imams or religious leaders after the Prophet Muhammad. Muslim scholars differ in their opinions regarding the history of the emergence of Shia. There are those who think that Shia was born directly after the death of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, namely the struggle for power between the Muhajirin and Ansar groups at the Saqifah Bani Saidah Meeting Hall. There are also those who think that Shia was born at the end of the reign of Caliph Uthman bin Affan or at the beginning of the reign of Ali bin Abi Talib. However, the most popular opinion is that Shia was born after the failure of negotiations between Caliph Ali's troops and the rebels of Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan during the Shiffin war, which is often referred to as arbitration or the tahkim incident. The Shia development phase was divided into several sects, including; Saba'iyah, Ghurabiyyah, Kaisaniyyah, Zaidiyah, Imam Itsna A'syariyyah (Imam of the Twelve), Isma'iliyyah, Hakimiyyah and Druz, and Nashiriyyah. The development of Shiism in the Islamic world can be traced to the reign of the Umayyad Dynasty (661-750 H), the Abbasid Dynasty (750-945 H), and the Buwaihiyah (945-1055 H).

Abstract

Islam provides guidance to humans, especially parents, to shape and develop their children's religious character from birth into the world. In an effort to form Islamic character, it is given to children starting from the time they are born until they reach adulthood. The aim of this research is to describe how children's character is formed through Islamic education in the family in Simbatan Village, Sarirejo District, Lamongan Regency and the supporting and inhibiting factors in forming the child's character. To achieve the research objectives, researchers used a descriptive qualitative method approach with data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. After that, the collected data is analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this research are the formation of children's character through Islamic education in families in Simbatan Village, Sarirejo District, Lamongan Regency, that as parents, both of them have served in accordance with their obligations, namely guiding, caring for, nurturing and educating their children with Islamic religious values. However, there are some who are not good, and need to be coached and supervised by them, due to environmental influence factors such as their peers. The supporting factors in forming a child's character are factors within the child, namely the willingness to encourage himself to practice his own religious values. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the child's lack of self-awareness, time problems, and laziness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Building Learning Power (BLP) as an effort to strengthen Qur'anic character in the digital era at Muhammadiyah educational institutions. This strategy is a very relevant approach to the development of education based on Islamic (religious) values. Building Learning Power (BLP) is a learning strategy concept introduced by Guy Claxton, focusing on the development of in-depth learning skills, including resilience/perseverance, critical thinking skills, creativity, and the ability to work together. This study uses a qualitative approach with case studies at Muhammadiyah educational institutions in Sidoarjo. Research data were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research findings show that the application of the Building Learning Power (BLP) concept can improve the quality of Qur'anic character amidst the flow of digital era disruption that continues to develop massively. The emphasis on values ​​such as resilience, perseverance, honesty, independence, critical thinking and cooperation are forms of implementation of the values ​​of piety that are highly emphasized in the Qur'an. This research is expected to be able to contribute to the development of character-based education curriculum based on the principles of Islamic teachings in the digital era. Abstract

Forming and improving the character of the people can be done by strengthening Islamic and Muhammadiyah values ​​in the context of health services, fostering and strengthening attitudes of tolerance and cooperation (ta'awun) between medical personnel, patients and their families, and even the surrounding community. Through the Jama'ah Movement and Jama'ah Dakwah (GJGJ) program, the Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Hospital in Kediri City is one of Muhammadiyah's charitable efforts in the health sector which is managed with a double track service, namely providing excellent health services combined with spiritual guidance services in the form of instilling scientific and Muhammadiyah values ​​such as ta'awun, tasamuh, tawasuth, tajdid and amar ma'ruf nahy mungkar. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Jama'ah Movement and Jama'ah Dakwah (GJGJ) program in strengthening Islamic and Muhammadiyah values ​​so as to create individuals who are not only intelligent and responsive and have a high sense of caring, but also have a strong spiritual spirit. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design, research data obtained through observation activities, interviews and documentation studies. Implementation of the Jama'ah Movement and Jama'ah Dakwah (GJGJ) program, and its impact on improving the quality of service and community welfare. Thus, this program is expected to be able to improve the spirituality of medical personnel who will give birth to an attitude of enthusiasm, mutual assistance and a deep empathy for the suffering of patients.
