Abstract

This study aims to gather more systematic and complete information about factors that affect financial distress. This study's testing is based on secondary data, with a purposive sample of 41 samples collected overall. With the use of the eviews 12 software package, the data analysis in this study employs logistic regression and moderated regression analysis. The study's findings demonstrate the importance of leverage and liquidity, but not the importance of profitability or firm size. However, the business size has no effect on the profitability variable; only the liquidity and leverage variables are affected. The variables related to liquidity and leverage yielded the most significant findings.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the strength of the moderator variable (company reputation) on ESG score on corporate value. The sample is 79 companies going public on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2022. Linear regression used to test the variables, while to test the moderator variable using Process Hayes (2013). The findings demonstrated that the company's worth is significantly impacted by its ESG score. Then Company reputation at small values, moderator (W or Int_1) is low, attention to the ESG score may not be fully relevant or effective in explaining variations in the Corporate value. At low values of moderators, research expansion or more specific strategies may be required to understand other factors that may influence the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. At medium values, attention to ESG score tends to provide consistent or moderate results in explaining variation in corporate value. At medium values of moderators, more general or holistic research or strategies may be quite effective for understanding the relationship between the ESG score and corporate value the moderator variable strengthens the independent variable (ESG score), and finally at high values of the moderator, where the effect of the ESG score tends to be stronger or even increased. This interpretation suggests that under conditions or situations where the value of the moderator (W or Int_1) is high, attention to the ESG score may be particularly relevant and effective in explaining variations in the corporate value.

Abstract

This research explores the role of ownership structure, agency relationship dynamics, and the implementation of financial signals in the context of small and family firm financial management. Employing the Systematic Literature Review method, a literature review was conducted to gather, filter, and analyze relevant literature on the topic. The research findings indicate that a deep understanding of ownership structure enables firms to design more efficient risk management policies and decision-making. Additionally, an understanding of agency relationship dynamics allows firms to manage conflicts of interest more effectively through the development of appropriate oversight mechanisms and incentives. The proper use of financial signals was also found to enhance transparency and external stakeholders' trust in the firm, thereby opening doors to better access to external capital. The conclusion drawn from this research is that effective financial management practices are crucial for the long-term success of small and family firms. The implications of these findings emphasize the need for firms to continuously update their knowledge and skills in financial management and actively apply proven principles in their own context. Thus, they can remain competitive in an ever-changing business environment and meet their long-term objectives.

Abstract

PT NUSKAINO currently needs funding of IDR 5 billion through a crowdfunding funding system, however, PT NUSKAINO does not yet have ideal capital budgeting projections and risk analysis. Therefore, this research aims to test the feasibility of considering funding investment projects using the capital budgeting method along with risk analysis based on groupings of economic conditions. The research methodology used in this research is a mixed method, which involves collecting quantitative and qualitative data, integrating two forms of data, and using different designs that can include philosophical assumptions and theoretical frameworks. The results of the research show that by using capital budgeting calculation techniques, when economic conditions are stable, funding investment activities are feasible. Meanwhile, when economic conditions are weak, investment in financing activities is not feasible. Then, when economic conditions are strong, funding investment activities are feasible. The analysis that has been carried out shows that the use of the capital budgeting method can provide good benefits for companies in making investment considerations so that they do not take the wrong steps in the future. Moreover, simulating the economic conditions that will occur could be a wise step for PT NUSKAINO in considering investment funding using the crowdfunding funding system.

Abstract

The rise of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Lending in the financial ecosystem has introduced a digital credit disbursement mechanism characterized by simplicity and a fast process. However, P2P Lending has faced criticism, frequently accused of misusing customer data, particularly privacy violations during loan collection processes. Due to the ongoing issues with personal data protection in Indonesia’s P2P Lending industry, further studies on this topic are necessary. Moreover, previous studies have shown that no bibliometric analysis of personal data protection in P2P Lending in Indonesia has been conducted, which prompted us to address this gap. In conducting the bibliometric analysis, we reviewed articles published between 2018 and 2023 on Google Scholar. For the selection of articles, we used the Publish or Perish application, resulting in a final sample of 99 articles. This study concluded that the keyword "protection" is frequently associated with information, problem, benefit, trust, implementation, user, platform, and information security. Another finding shows that the subject of this study has increased since 2020 and remains highly relevant for further study. Furthermore, the subject of this study includes keywords that are rarely discussed, such as MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) and inclusion, indicating that future study could explore these two topics further.

Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 65 cooperative managers in Barru Regency through structured questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to evaluate the relationships between HR competencies and managerial performance. The findings reveal that analytical decision-making and teamwork are the most significant predictors of performance, highlighting their critical role in fostering operational efficiency and achieving organizational objectives. Communication and leadership, while positively correlated with performance, function as foundational enablers supporting teamwork and decision-making. The study contributes to the literature by emphasizing the interplay between HR competencies and cooperative governance, offering practical recommendations for enhancing managerial effectiveness through targeted training and development programs. These findings underscore the importance of adopting a comprehensive competency framework to optimize organizational outcomes and ensure sustainability. Further research is recommended to explore the contextual factors influencing the variability of HR competencies across different organizational settings.
