Abstract

This research looks into how the ideas of usefulness, ease of use, and value affect the desire of Generation Z to use online shopping sites. Information was gathered from online shoppers living in the Jabodetabek region by employing a quantitative approach through survey methods. The findings show that all three factors heavily influence the desire to use. Perceived1 Usefulness plays a key role in driving user intention, using a technology becomes more appealing to people when they see the advantages, such as saving time, easy transactions, and increased productivity. These advantages, as mentioned in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), have a significant impact on how likely people are to start using it. The way people see how easy it is to use something matters a lot. This means that if an online shopping site is simple to use, people are more likely to want to use it. This is especially true for younger people like those in Gen Z who grew up with technology. Furthermore, Perceived1 Value shows a strong influence on Intention1 to Use, indicating that users value platforms that offer not only convenience and functionality but also emotional and economic benefits. These findings emphasize the importance of designing e-commerce platforms that are not only useful and easy to use but also deliver a holistic and positive user experience.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of transformational leadership style, training and development, and resource availability on employee creativity and innovation, with job satisfaction and critical thinking skills as intervening variables. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected from employees of PT. Eigerindo Multi Produk Industri Malang through structured questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using the SmartPLS method to evaluate the relationships among variables. The results indicate that transformational leadership significantly enhances creativity and innovation by fostering a supportive work environment. Training programs focusing on the development of technical and critical thinking skills also have a strong impact on employees' ability to generate innovative solutions. Resource availability, including financial support, time, and technology, plays a crucial role in facilitating creative processes and the implementation of innovations. Job satisfaction emerges as an important mediator, strengthening the influence of leadership and training on innovation. Similarly, critical thinking skills mediate the relationship between training and creativity, empowering employees to evaluate and develop ideas effectively. This study contributes theoretically by extending transformational leadership theory, learning theory, and the resource-based view within the context of organizational innovation. Practically, it highlights the importance of organizations integrating leadership development, training programs, and resource management strategies to foster a culture of innovation.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors that influence Indonesian consumers' intention to purchase electric vehicles (EVs) using the Extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The variables studied include Attitudes, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control, and additional factors such as Moral Norm, Environmental Concern, and Green Trust. Based on data from 242 respondents collected through an online survey and analyzed using PLS-SEM, the results show that Indonesians have a positive and significant on purchase intention because of Attitude, Subjective Norm, Moral Norm, and Green Trust variable. Meanwhile Perceived Behavior Control and Environmental concern didn’t directly influence the EV purchase intention, but Environment Concern being indirectly influence through the Attitude, Subjective Norm, Moral Norm, and Green Trust variables. Price sensitivity being insignificant in moderating the other variables in effecting the purchase intention. These results shows that certain stakeholders in Indonesia needs to raising the knowledge of the EV to help the Indonesian society to raising their intention for buying the EV.

Abstract

This paper investigates the role of social media in fostering political engagement among teens within the Gambia through a systematic literature overview method. The look is pushed with the aid of the increasing reliance of Gambian teens on digital platforms such as FB, WhatsApp, Twitter, and TikTok to access political content, collaborate in discussions, and mobilize civic movements. As net penetration deepens in the country, social media is reworking conventional political participation by permitting instantaneous verbal exchange, diverse viewpoints, and real-time political mobilization. Drawing on academic articles, coverage papers, and local media reviews, this research synthesizes findings from over 30 scholarly resources published between 2015 and 2024. The evaluation highlights how virtual activism, influencer engagement, and peer-to-peer verbal exchange have redefined young people's participation in political strategies. Similarly, it identifies barriers inclusive of digital literacy gaps, incorrect information, and net-get entry to disparities that assign the efficacy of social media as a political tool. The findings screen that at the same time as social media serves as a gateway for youth engagement, its effectiveness is mediated by way of socio-political context, regulatory frameworks, and online content moderation. The look contributes extensively to existing literature with the aid of supplying a targeted examination of The Gambia’s evolving digital panorama and the political consciousness of its children. It offers pointers for policymakers and civil society actors aiming to leverage digital structures to bolster democratic participation amongst younger residents.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how financial behavior and Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) influence Generation Z’s investment decisions, with risk tolerance as a moderating variable. The research addresses the increasing participation of Gen Z in investment, often driven by emotional and social trends despite gaps in financial literacy. Using a quantitative method, data were collected through purposive and convenience sampling from 200 Gen Z individuals (aged 18–27) in Jakarta earning at least IDR 5,000,000 monthly. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) was employed for analysis. The results indicate that financial literacy, financial inclusion, financial well-being, and FOMO significantly influence risk tolerance. Furthermore, financial literacy, inclusion, and well-being directly and indirectly affect investment decisions through risk tolerance. FOMO, while not directly significant, shows an indirect impact via increased risk tolerance. The findings conclude that risk tolerance plays a critical mediating role in shaping Gen Z’s investment decisions. These insights imply the need for targeted financial education programs that not only enhance financial knowledge but also address behavioral biases and emotional drivers, thereby enabling more rational and informed investment decisions among young investors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence repurchase intention of baby bottle products through TikTok Shop, focusing on the roles of short video content, customer experience, perceived value, and customer satisfaction. The research uses a quantitative method with purposive sampling, involving 118 respondents who have made at least two purchases via TikTok Shop. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a six-point Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that customer satisfaction has the most significant and strong effect on repurchase intention, while short video content, customer experience, and perceived value influence repurchase intention indirectly through customer satisfaction. The model demonstrates high explanatory and predictive power, with R-square values of 0.642 for customer satisfaction and 0.781 for repurchase intention. This study concludes that building customer satisfaction is key to encouraging repeat purchases. Engaging short video content and positive customer experiences contribute significantly to perceived value and satisfaction. The findings highlight the importance of optimizing video-based digital marketing strategies in social commerce platforms like TikTok Shop. Marketers should focus on content that is informative, visually appealing, and relevant to enhance customer loyalty and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study employs a Markov chain model to simulate the influence of knowledge on daily decision-making and long-term happiness. In the simulation, each individual is assumed to make 6,500 decisions per day over a 10-year period, with a total of 1,000 individuals categorized according to their levels of knowledge and awareness. Knowledge serves as a variable that influences the transition probabilities between good and bad decisions, as well as the emotional responses to those decisions (gratitude or regret). The simulation results indicate that individuals with higher levels of knowledge and awareness tend to maintain more stable happiness compared to those with lower levels of knowledge. The Markov chain model proves to be effective in mapping the dynamics of decision-making behavior and can be utilized as an analytical tool for developing behavior-based decision support systems in the context of industrial engineering.
