Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that influence consumer satisfaction on Gojek service application users in Medan. The factors studied were service quality, price, brand image and promotion factors. The approach used in this research is associative by using primary data through questionnaires and interviews. The population in this study are consumers in the city of Medan who have the Gojek application on their cellphones and have used it at least 5 times. The sampling method used probability sampling with a sample of 100 people. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression, partial, simultaneous hypothesis testing, and looking for the coefficient of determination. The results of the study stated that the factors of service quality, price, brand image and promotion had a positive and significant influence on consumer satisfaction for Gojek service application users in Medan either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factor of employee engagement and analyze the current condition of employee engagement. The author gains in scope and depth of understanding and collaboration by mixing both qualitative and quantitative methods. Primary data is gathered from the questionnaire and interview with some employees, while secondary data is obtained from the company's annual report, a private document, and related journals. In addition to validity and reliability testing, the data will also be analyzed using statistical techniques. Some approaches are also applicable for assessing employee engagement results, such as Grand Mean, Top Box, and Engagement Scores. The results of the interview support data analysis. The triangulation technique uses to combine both results of the questionnaire and interview. The triangulation helps to confirm the findings, enhance understanding, and increase the validity. Based on the analysis, the author found several factors such as culture, opportunity, quality of life, people, and rewards. The study's result can be used to recommend the company to improve engagement during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Banyaknya mahasiswa yang berperilaku konsumtif, sehingga terjebak dalam gaya hidup materialistis dan hedonisme, selain itu mereka  menghalalkan segala cara untuk mendapatkan uang. Tidak memikirkan masa depan, tidak memiliki tabungan atau investasi karena selalu habis untuk berbelanja, dan sederet efek negatif lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tentang pengaruh Literasi Keuangan terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa FEB UMSU di masa pandemi Covid-19 dan untuk mengetahui selama Pandemi Covid-19 perilaku Konsumtif Mahasiswa FEB UMSU mengalami peningkatan atau penurunan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan wawancara dan membagikan kuesioner secara online. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dan reliabilitas serta uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi keuangan Mahasiswa di tengah Pandemi semakin baik, dikarenakan mahasiswa mampu mengelola keuangannya dengan baik dan berbelanja sesuai dengan kebutuhannya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze differences in the financial behavior of the people of Percut Sei Tuan District before and during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a comparative and descriptive approach with data collection techniques from the results of questionnaires/questionnaires. The number of samples used in this study were 100 respondents from the people of Percut Sei Tuan District. This study uses judgment sampling and uses data analysis techniques, namely Normality Test, Levene's Test Homogeneity of Variance, Paired Sample T Test, Wilcoxon Test, testing is carried out using the SPSS (Statistical Package For The Social Sciences) Software version 20 for windows. The results of this study state that there is a significant difference between financial behavior before and during the covid-19 pandemic in the people of Percut Sei Tuan District.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership and work environment on employee motivation either partially or simultaneously. The population of this study were employees of PT Mahkota Group Tbk - Medan as many as 53 employees. The sample in this study will use saturated sampling, meaning that the research will be conducted on all employees of PT Mahkota Group Tbk - Medan as many as 53 employees where researchers are not included in this number. The data collection technique in this research is a questionnaire. While the data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple regression, t test, and F test and determinant coefficient. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. Work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation. Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation. Leadership, work environment and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee motivation at the PT Mahkota Group Tbk - Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of human resource information systems, training, and work discipline on employee performance. Where the method of multiple linear regression analysis and testing the sample of researchers in the study is to use saturated sampling where the employees of the office of PT. Socfin Indonesia (SOCFINDO) Medan as a sample of 90 respondents and 30 respondents as a test of the validity and reliability of PT. Nusantara IV Medan Plantation. Based on the results of hypothesis testing in this study, it shows that the simultaneous human resource information system, training, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. And partially, the variables of human resource information system, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, the training variable has no and no significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the determinants of debt policy and firm value (Study on Pharmaceutical Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange). The research approach uses an associative approach. This research was conducted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), especially pharmaceutical sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015-2019. The population used in this study is the pharmaceutical sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015-2019, amounting to 10 companies. The sample of this study were 8 pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The collection technique uses documentation techniques. Data analysis using Path Analysis or Path Analysis. institutional ownership has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value, firm size has a positive and insignificant effect on firm value. institutional ownership has a negative and insignificant effect on debt policy, firm size has a positive and significant effect on debt policy, debt policy has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value, institutional ownership on firm value through debt policy has no significant effect and firm size on firm value through debt policy has no significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and ability, analyze the effect of motivation and work ability on employee performance, analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance and to analyze whether job satisfaction is a mediating variable between motivation and work ability on performance at the Financial Management Agency and Regency Assets Deli Serdang. The population of this study were all employees of the Deli Serdang Regency's Financial and Asset Management Agency, amounting to 60 people. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using PLS-SEM. The results showed that directly, work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, work ability had a negative and not significant effect on employee job satisfaction, work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work ability had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, satisfaction work has a positive and not significant effect on employee performance. Indirectly, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between motivation variables with employee performance variables

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of supervision, discipline and motivation on teacher performance in public elementary schools in the Education Office of the UPT Medan Area, Medan City, either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study was limited to the teachers of SD Negeri in the UPT Education Office, Medan Area, Medan City, totaling 208 people. Approach is used to determine the sample. Given the large number of populations above, the researcher determines the number of samples using the Slovin formula. Thus the sample in this study was 68 public elementary school teachers in the UPT Education Office, Medan Area, Medan City. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires (Questioner) and interviews (interview). While the data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results showed that partially, supervision, discipline and motivation had a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers at the State Elementary School of the UPT Education Office, Medan Area, Medan City. Simultaneously, supervision, discipline and motivation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers at the State Elementary School of the Education Office of the UPT District of Medan Area, Medan City

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of organizational climate and career development directly on employee performance, to analyze the direct effect of job satisfaction on employee performance and to analyze the indirect effect of organizational climate and career development on employee performance through job satisfaction. This research uses an associative approach method. The population and research sample are employees at PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Kualanamu Branch Office in the Safey Riks Snd Quality Control Unit, totaling 42 people. In testing the hypothesis is done by using the Partial Least Square test. The results of this study indicate that directly organizational climate has no significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance, career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and does not have a significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has no significant effect on employee performance. While the test indirectly states that organizational climate and career development affect employee performance through employee job satisfaction at PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Kualanamu Branch Office.
