Abstract

This article discusses the evaluation of the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning process using the Merdeka Curriculum at MI Al Muhajirin Depok. The importance of understanding SKI for Indonesian students who are predominantly Muslim is the main highlight in this article. The research approach applied is descriptive qualitative which relies on observation, interviews and documentation as data collection methods. SKI learning at MI Al Muhajirin Depok is practiced with an aesthetic touch. Although the Independent Curriculum provides flexibility in adapting the curriculum, there are weaknesses related to consistency, quality standards and adequate supervision. Apart from that, this article offers several recommendations to improve SKI learning in these schools.

Abstract

The practice of the Islamic religion in Indonesia which is often practiced by a group of Muslim people in particular has legality from a valid primary source of Islamic religious law. Although sometimes, the existing practices of the perpetrators do not know the source of this tradition, such as the practice of ruqyah treatment by Gus Ahmad Asrofuddin in Setro Village, Prambon District, Sidoarjo Regency which is believed to bring healing based on a hadith. By using a qualitative phenomenological approach, this research examines the extent to which the community’s healing rate and community’s response to Gus Asrofuddin ruqyah treatment, and hadith which form the basis of theory in the study of living hadith. On the other hand, the test uses interpretative phenomenological analysis theory as an approach to evaluatu activies based on interview results. The purpose of this study is to provide statistical data related to the issues raised. As a result, the people who seek treatment on average experience an increase in their recovery from the illness they suffer and the community does not feel that there is an element of shirk in the ruqyah treatment of Gus Asrofuddin.

Abstract

Tarbiatul Mu'allimaat Al-Islamiyah (TMI) Al-Amien Prenduan as an institution that implements teaching practices for final grade female students. Various support is provided in this teaching practice to improve the quality of female students' teaching. This is done to foster an educational spirit in female students before going directly into the wider community in accordance with the Vision and Mission of the Al-Amien Prenduan Islamic boarding school, namely preparing superior and qualified individuals to create the best community ever created for humanity (kahairo ummah). Even though they do not aspire to be teachers, they have been equipped to become quality and professional teachers. Whatever their profession, they will become teachers in the future. This makes the author interested in researching this activity. Researchers conducted this research with the aim of finding out the application of teaching practices and evaluating the teaching practices of Tarbiyatul Mu'allimaat Al-Islamiyah (TMI) Putri Al-Amien Prenduan. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques use interview methods, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data collection, reduction and presentation. Data validity techniques by means of diligent observation, triangulation and data checking. The results of this research findings were obtained from interviews and documentation which can be concluded in several points. First, a neat system of planning, implementation and evaluation. Second, this teaching practice is so that children can adapt various teaching methods to suit the material. Third, TMI Putri Al-Amien Prenduan has equipped its female students to become educators. The evaluation can be seen from the quality alumni, the supporting factors can be seen from the curriculum, and the inhibiting factors come from the people themselves.

Abstract

The development of various proselytizing media, one of which is tiktok social media as part of people's lives, has begun to be used by preachers to spread content with the theme of Islamic proselytizing, one of which is carried out by KH. Kholil Yasin with a tiktok account @kholilyasinofficial, the presence of tiktok social media as a medium of proselytizing can provide convenience for preachers in conveying messages in the form of Islamic proselytizing that can reach the wider community. Researchers are interested in researching the content of KH's proselytizing messages. Kholil Yasin on the tiktok account @kholilyasinofficial whose purpose is to find out how the content of Kiai kholil yasin's da'wah message in tiktok content. The research method used by researchers is in the form of a content analysis approach, which discusses in depth the content of information published or printed in mass media. The data collection technique used is in the form of documentation. Data analysis techniques used in the form of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The content of the message that can be taken from the Tiktok Account @kholilyasinofficial if you want to become a successful student, namely eating well, getting enough sleep, reducing learning and feeling far away from the teacher, while if the student wants good knowledge and survives the afterlife, then the student must increase akhlakul karimah, khidmah and the last is a ban in the form of students prohibited from dating.

Abstract

Cultural differences can cause culture shock to those involved in intercultural communication interactions. Students from Malaysia are one example of students who have experienced culture shock since they decided to study in Madura. This study aims to determine the forms of culture shock experienced and efforts to interact intercultural communication in the adaptation process carried out by students from Malaysia in overcoming culture shock when studying S-1 at IDIA Prenduan. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case research research, the data sources used are primary and secondary data sources with the number of informants as many as 5 people. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The validity of the data used is a triangulation technique. The results of this study show that differences in socio-cultural conditions and natural weather resulted in these Malaysian students experiencing diverse forms of culture shock and almost have similarities with each other. The adaptation efforts made are not much different from each other. In all forms of culture shock they experience, they choose to survive and face all existing conditions. Overall, students from Malaysia are able to adapt in a new cultural environment.

Abstract

The transformation of sharia banking through ICSR practices is an effort to increase competitiveness, customer trust and Islamic values in sharia banking practices. Implementing ICSR can provide significant benefits for sharia banking, customers and society as a whole. The implementation of ICSR practices by sharia banking creates a positive impact in building financial institutions based on Islamic principles. This is not only about building reputation, but also creating strong relationships based on social and moral values, which in turn strengthens integrity and increases customer and community trust.  Implementing ICSR can increase the competitiveness of sharia banking by improving product and service quality, positive image and customer trust. Implementing ICSR can also improve customer experience, strengthen relationships between banks and customers, and have a positive impact on society as a whole. Consistent implementation of ICSR can help sharia banking to become more competitive, trusted by customers, and realize Islamic values in banking practices.

Abstract

The motivation behind this research is that if you use a traditional learning model, a learning process that focuses on the role of the teacher can cause less active teaching and learning activities. This reduces students' enthusiasm for learning. In fact, teachers must be able to choose learning models based on the characteristics of the students they teach. The aim of this research is to find out how teachers of the Aqidah Akhlak teaching subject apply the problem-based learning model in class XI MA Al Khairiyah Pabuaran Cilegon. A descriptive approach was used in this research, data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, key informants such as moral teaching subject teachers, and supporting informants such as class XI students and school administrators. The results of the research show that students' interest in learning moral beliefs with problem-based learning is considered very good. Students can engage with everyday topics, think critically, and work in groups to solve problems they encounter during learning activities in class.

Abstract

Parents' parenting patterns toward their children can make children  useful regardless of their parents' education and have a unique impact on early childhood education. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of children's autonomy and to explain the relationship between educational models and children's development of autonomy. This method was chosen because, consistent with the name of the study, the researchers observed an association between parenting styles of independence in early childhood. Therefore, the results of the study yielded 14 samples that received the democratic parenting model, 5 independent samples, and 0 non-independent samples, while 4 samples that received the permissive parenting model were independent; Non-independent samples were 0. Those who adopted related parenting patterns were found in three independent samples, but two samples were not independent. In the 14 samples, 95% of the children were independent and 5% were not.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد الأوقاف المنتجة وتأثيرها على التنمية الاقتصادية في إندونيسيا، الذي يتضمن المناقشة حول موقف الشرعي من الأوقاف المنتجة، وواقعية الأوقاف المنتجة في إندونيسيا، وذكر صورة إدارة وقف النقود في بنك Mega Syariah. وهذا البحث نوعيا وصفيا، ويميل إلى استخدام التحليل بنهج استقرائي. ومن أهم نتائج البحث التي توصل إليها الباحث: أولا، أن الأوقاف المنتجة في إندونيسا تعتبر كمحرك لتنمية الاقتصاد لها الإمكانات الكبيرة لكون هذه الدولة هي أكبر دولة ذات أغلبية مسلمة. ثانيا، أن المؤسسات المالية الشرعية وفي إندونيسيا تلعب دورًا استراتيجيًا في تطوير الوقف النقدي ومن بينها بنك Mega Syariah الذي حصل على تقدير من هيئة الأوقاف الإندونيسية في السنة 2023 كأفضل المؤسسات المالية الشرعية التي تستلم الوقف النقدي. ثالثا أن إمكانات الفوائد المحتملة للوقف النقدي من خلال برنامج الصكوك المرتبطة بالوقف النقدي (CWLS) في بنك Mega Syariah كبيرة تصل إلى قيمة حوالي ثلاثمائة وسبعون مليوناً شهريا.

Abstract

The purpose of this journal article is to refer to efforts to build or form a re-understanding of historical periodization in the development of Islamic education throughout history, to identify and understand certain phases or periods in Islamic civilization related to Islamic education. The method applied in this research is the library research method, or what is called (library research), where researchers collect data relevant to the problem being studied. Collecting data with relevant previous research results is support for research on the construction of the periodization of the civilization of the history of Islamic education. The description process, namely uses data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis (content analysis) so that existing data will be described in depth from the data that researchers have collected. According to Ahmad Usairy in his book reveals that, the periodization of Islamic history is completely divided into several periods including The Classical Historical Period began from the time of the Prophet Adam until before the sending of the Prophet Muhammad SAW). Historical Period of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the year (570-632 AD}, Historical Period of Khulafa' Rashidin in the year (632-661 AD). Period of Bani Umaiyah Government in the year (661-749 AD). The period of Bani Abbasid rule in the year (749-1258 AD). The period of Mamluk rule (1250-1517 AD). The period of Ottoman rule (1517-1923 AD) and the period of the contemporary Islamic world (1922-2000 AD).
