Abstract

Arabic language learning in the digital era faces various challenges that impact the quality of education. Key issues include the widespread use of Arabic 'Amiyah, which undermines fluency, unclear goals and objectives in Arabic language education at universities, and a misalignment between educational vision and the curriculum. Additionally, the lack of clear policies in Arabic language teaching and low student motivation further exacerbate the situation. However, digital transformation offers opportunities to address these challenges through innovative teaching methods. The use of digital tools, such as games, quizzes, and online discussion forums, can enhance student participation and motivation. A Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) approach also encourages critical, analytical, and creative thinking. With HOTS, students are encouraged to solve complex problems, connect concepts, and apply knowledge to real-world situations. Therefore, the integration of digital technology in Arabic language education has the potential not only to overcome existing challenges but also to improve the quality of learning in the digital age, enabling students to achieve greater language proficiency.

Abstract

Empathy is a crucial social skill that significantly influences the interpersonal development of early childhood. Defined as the ability to understand and share the feelings of others, empathy fosters prosocial behaviors such as helping, sharing, and cooperating. This study investigates the approaches employed by educators to cultivate empathy among young children in a preschool setting, specifically focusing on Class B at Taman Kanak-Kanak Tunas Bangsa Cipadung, Bandung. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative methodology, utilizing observation and interview techniques to gather data from teachers and students. Analysis was conducted through continuous data validation using triangulation to ensure reliability. Findings reveal that the preschool utilizes a constructivist approach to instill empathy, emphasizing active learning and social interactions among children. Key strategies include group work and habituation of prosocial behaviors, which facilitate the development of empathy through hands-on experiences. Observations indicated that children demonstrated cooperative behaviors, such as sharing toys and assisting peers in need, reflecting an early understanding of empathy. Additionally, the constructivist methods applied by teachers, rooted in the principles of Piaget and Vygotsky, align with the psychopedagogical foundations of the 2024 Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes student-centered learning and social-emotional competence.

Abstract

The interpretation of the Qur'an in the modern era is faced with the challenges of social change, culture and technological progress. The concepts of Nasikh (appointment of law) and Mansukh (abolition of law) are important to ensure that the laws of the Koran remain relevant to the context of the times. Apart from that, Ayatul Mutasyabbihat or ambiguous verses also require careful interpretation. This research examines the views of classical and contemporary scholars regarding these three concepts, to ensure that the teachings of the Qur'an remain applicable and provide solutions to contemporary problems. Through a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review, the research results show that a correct understanding of Nasikh, Mansukh, and Ayatul Mutasyabbihat is very important to avoid misinterpretations and ensure that the teachings of the Qur'an remain relevant and provide solutions to the challenges faced by Muslims in the contemporary era.

Abstract

The book Adab Al-'Alim wa Al-Muta'allim by KH. M. Hasyim Asy'ari is one of the important works in the tradition of Islamic education, especially in the context of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. This book discusses the ethics and manners of an alim (scholar) and student in the teaching and learning process. One of the important aspects in this book is the method of understanding the hadith presented by KH. Hasyim Asy'ari. Hasyim Asy'ari emphasized the importance of a comprehensive approach in understanding hadith, which includes several main methods, namely the Ijtihad approach, the muqaranah approach between verses and hadiths, the bayan approach through the atsar of companions, the qaul of salafus salih scholars, and verses to help understand the meaning. Through this book, KH. Hasyim Ash'ari shows that understanding hadith requires not only mastery of linguistics, but also extensive knowledge of the social context, and principles of Islamic law. This book is an important reference in teaching hadith in Islamic boarding schools and other Islamic religious institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Polygamy is a practice recognized by law in some countries, although its implementation often sparks debate from social, cultural, and legal perspectives. In Indonesia, polygamy is regulated by Law Number 1 of 1974 on Marriage, which imposes certain limits and strict requirements, while in Tunisia, polygamy has been explicitly prohibited since the enactment of the Code du Statut Personnel (CSP) in 1956. This study aims to examine the regulations, legal provisions, and the social and legal impacts of polygamy practices in these two countries. Using a qualitative method with a normative approach, this research explores the comparison of legal foundations, government policies, and the implementation of regulations related to polygamy, identifying the differences and similarities. The results of this study show that Indonesia and Tunisia have different approaches to polygamy, with Indonesia allowing polygamy within certain limits, while Tunisia strictly prohibits it. Both countries seek to protect women's rights in the context of marriage, although the implementation of these policies faces various social and cultural challenges.

Abstract

The public's role in supporting the State Budget (APBN) is vital as one of the main sources of state revenue. The public contributes directly through tax payments, including income tax, value-added tax, and regional taxes, and indirectly through economic activities that broaden the state's revenue base. This article aims to examine the public's contribution to the APBN by highlighting aspects of tax awareness, economic participation, and supportive government policies. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive analysis with secondary data from various reports and academic studies. The results show that increasing public contributions to the APBN depends on public education, simplification of tax administration processes, and public service innovations such as tax digitization. The conclusion of this article emphasizes that collaboration between the government and the public is crucial in ensuring fiscal sustainability and national development.

Abstract

In the era of globalization with increasingly rapid technological developments. Along with the presence of Gen-Z, this has led to the development of social media which often presents content from users and not all of it leads to positive things. Some of the content presented often leads to negative things that have a moral impact. In this article, research was conducted to find out whether there was a relationship between exposure to negative content and the moral decline of Gen-Z among Civic Education students at Mataram University. The research method used to collect field data is a quantitative type of correlation which will reveal whether the research objectives were achieved in accordance with the reality that occurred in the field. The results of the Spearman correlation analysis research show a coefficient of 0.0115 with a p-value of 0.9089. Because the p-value is greater than 0.05, the research results show that there is no significant relationship between the frequency of exposure to negative content and the moral impact on PPKn students at Mataram University. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0), which states that there is no significant relationship between exposure to negative content and moral decline.

Abstract

Interpretation as a human product is greatly influenced by the knowledge and orientation of the interpreter, which causes various interpretations of the verses of the Qur'an. A theologian will interpret the Qur'an according to his knowledge as a mutakallim, as will a Sufi. One of the books of Islamic heritage is Tafsir Al Bahr Al-Madid fi Tafris Al-Qur'an Al-Majid by Ibn A'jibah. This book is one of the books of interpretation that uses the Sufi Ishari approach to interpretation. That is, a style of interpretation based on hidden signs behind the words that contradict the apparent interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an. This article will analyze how Ibn Ajibah interpreted in Tafsir Al-Bahr Al Madid. The objective of the study in this research is to introduce the book Al-Bahrul Madid by Ibn A'jibah along with the specific methods and sources of its interpretation. The method applied in this research is qualitative using literature study. The data was then analyzed using a special method of interpreting the Quran. This tafsir is generally not widely available, and not many researchers have studied or critiqued it. It is rarely referenced compared to other, more well-known Sufi-style tafsirs.
