Abstract

Arabic is a language with phonetic complexity and is a challenge for Indonesian speakers who learn it as a second language (L2). This study aims to identify phonetic differences between Arabic and Indonesian that cause difficulties in articulation, as well as to analyze the Arabic letters that are most difficult to pronounce for Indonesian speakers. Using a descriptive qualitative method based on library research, this study analyzed various literature sources related to phonetics and foreign language learning. The results of the study indicate that differences in phoneme structure, especially the presence of typical Arabic phonemes such as /ʕ/ (ain), /ħ/ (ḥa’), /q/ (qaf), and long vowels, are the main obstacles in the pronunciation process. Interference from the mother tongue (L1) also plays a significant role in articulation errors. To overcome these obstacles, it is recommended to use teaching strategies that focus on articulation exercises, a visual-auditory phonetic approach, and the use of interactive technology to improve pronunciation accuracy and the effectiveness of Arabic language learning. This study makes an important contribution to the development of more adaptive Arabic language teaching methods for Indonesian speakers.

Abstract

Islamic law is a sharia, which is a set of rules established by Allah SWT for His followers through the Prophet Muhammad SAW.These rules encompass laws related to beliefs (aqidah) as well as those governing the behavior (amaliyah) of Muslims. In general, the scope of Islamic law is very broad, not only regulating matters of worship (ḥabl min Allāh), but also governing aspects of muamalah, which are the relationships among fellow humans (ḥabl min an-nās).Muamalah encompasses all religious provisions that regulate interactions among humans, including the relationship between humans and their lives as well as their surrounding environment.Allah SWT has decreed that every individual certainly needs others, helps each other, and exchanges needs in various aspects of life, whether through buying and selling transactions, renting, cooperation, or partnerships. In practice, buying and selling tickets through the Access by KAI app is actually similar to other ticket purchasing apps.Through this application, passengers can easily purchase tickets by entering their personal information, selecting the available payment method, and then receiving a ticket or barcode as a boarding pass issued by the application. In addition to facilitating ticket purchases and seat selection, the Access by KAI app also provides an option for tickets without seat facilities marked as "Available (Without Seat)."This means that passengers purchase tickets without a guaranteed seat number. Thus, even though the ticket prices are the same, the facilities received are different. This situation results in passengers who buy tickets without seat numbers not getting a seat.Passengers then occupy empty seats if available, but if all seats are fully occupied, they are forced to stand. It is necessary to examine the Islamic legal perspective on the ticket sales transaction without seat numbers through the Access by KAI application, whether in practice the contract used in the application has fulfilled all the pillars and conditions of sale stipulated by Islamic law.

Abstract

This study aims to explore impulsive attitudes in careers among adolescents using a library research approach. Impulsive or hasty attitudes are human tendencies that are often highlighted in the Qur'an as an innate character that needs to be controlled. In QS. Al-Isra' verse 11, Allah mentions that humans tend to be hasty in acting, even in things that are detrimental to themselves. This study aims to examine the impact of impulsive attitudes from the perspective of the Qur'an on adolescent career development. The results of the study indicate that uncontrolled impulsive attitudes can cause adolescents to make career decisions emotionally, inconsistently, and less considering the long term. The Qur'an directs humans to be patient, think carefully (tafakkur), and not follow their lusts in making decisions. Therefore, Qur'anic values can be a preventive solution in forming the character of adolescents who are wiser and more visionary in designing their future careers. In an era of fast-paced information and full of external influences, adolescents are often faced with complex career choices, which can encourage irrational decision-making. Therefore, this study will explore various literature that discusses the influence of impulsive attitudes on career choices in adolescents and solutions to avoid them in the Qur'an, such as psychological, social, and cultural development.

Abstract

This research analyzes the implementation of the rule requiring motorcyclists to turn on their headlights during the day from the perspective of siyasah dusturiyah. The purpose of this research is to find out the stages of implementation of turning on the headlights of motorcycles during the day from year to year and the impact of the implementation of this regulation in Bogor Regency. The research method used in this research is a case study method with an empirical legal approach. The data analysis technique in this research uses a mixed method, in which the data in this research is taken qualitatively and quantitatively and then described descriptively to draw conclusions. The results showed that when this regulation was first socialized, many people in Bogor Regency rejected and ignored the existence of this regulation, but over time the community has been much more orderly and accepting, although some people are still indifferent. The socialization carried out by Satlantas Polres Bogor is also almost declared successful because most people know this rule even though there are a small number of people who think that this rule has not been socialized properly. The impact of this rule is also positive, which is a decrease in the number of accidents after the implementation of this rule. The siyasah dusturiyah analysis of this rule shows that this rule is in line with the objectives of maqashid sharia where the focus of this rule is to preserve lives and property. This is in line with the principle of siyasah dusturiyah which prioritizes the benefit of the people.

Abstract

This article introduces the dimension of fluid religiosity, where fluid consumption is defined as temporary, flexible, and adaptive to the environment. Liquid religiosity is conceptualized by the consumption pattern of individuals with immigrant identity, which causes consumption to be fluid or not. The relevance of liquid religiosity refers to the bauman concept of liquid modernity, as an individual's connectedness to the social environment, identity, and accessibility to mobility networks, and the type of uncertainty experienced. This article highlights the flexible consumption orientation and adaptability of Muslim immigrants. The implication is that some Muslim immigrants reside in minority countries, such as Japan, Germany, Australia, and the UK. This becomes a discussion between the transformation of halal consumption identity and consumption compliance. Individuals will have their own meaning of religiosity, with their background and social pressure. However, individuals still feel they have leeway from the country of origin, namely Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the vowel and consonant phoneme systems in Arabic and Indonesian and examine their implications for the foreign language learning process. Arabic is known to have vowel phonemes that are distinguished based on quantity, namely long and short, while Indonesian does not recognize differences in vowel quantity phonologically. In addition, Arabic has distinctive consonants such as pharyngeal and emphatic phonemes that are not found in Indonesian. With a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collected data through interviews, observations, and analysis of documents and phonological literature. The results of the study indicate that differences in phoneme systems between the two languages affect pronunciation accuracy and phonetic perception in learning. These findings provide a theoretical and practical basis for developing foreign language teaching strategies that are more adaptive to the phonological characteristics of each language. The implications of contrastive analysis in Arabic language learning include: teacher mastery of the system so that teachers are able to predict the difficulties experienced by students and the preparation of teaching materials is based on the results of comparisons starting from easy to difficult levels and conducting intensive exercises.

Abstract

This study examines the form of Sasak language interference in Arabic language practice by students of Madinatul Ulum NW Mumbang Islamic Boarding School. Interference occurs in various aspects of language, including phonology and syntax as well as reduplication. This phenomenon is caused by the influence of the mother tongue (Sasak language) and the lack of mastery of Arabic vocabulary of students, as well as minimal understanding of Arabic language structure. This study uses a qualitative descriptive phenomenological approach, the data were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that phonological, syntactic and reduplication interference dominated students' errors in speaking Arabic. To minimize the negative impact of this interference, the Islamic boarding school implemented several intensive programs, such as muhadasah, memorizing the muhawaroh book, drilling uslub and watching Arabic films as well as learning Nahwu science. This finding confirms that although mother tongue interference (Sasak language) is a real challenge. However, the application of the right learning method and a supportive learning environment can significantly improve the Arabic language competence of students.
