Abstract

This research specifically aims to look at patriarchal systems and practices, whether intentional or not, that still exist in Islamic boarding schools. In a coherent manner, the author explains and dialogues things that are often indicated as having gender bias in Islamic boarding schools with social theory analysis, including, Islamic boarding schools' responses to women, women in the leadership system in Islamic boarding schools, gender bias in learning texts and masculinity norms in Islamic boarding schools. Daarul Mustaqiem Bogor. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of socio-religious understanding on the phenomenon of patriarchy in the Islamic boarding school leadership system. The social role of Kiai has a strong influence on the social aspects of Islamic boarding school education. There are several underlying points, namely: First, the issue of cultural values, a cultural problem that is still deeply rooted in many areas of society today is the strong ideology of patriarchy. In this context, Islamic education is a form of socio-religious (Islamic) education. Second, the strong patriarchal culture in the Islamic boarding school world cannot be separated from the dynamics of Islamic boarding school education. Thus, it cannot be separated from the domination of the figure of the Kyai who is known as the sole authority who holds the power of the Islamic Boarding School. It is hoped that this research can provide a related picture of a Kiai becoming an ideological symbol and the capital of deep religious knowledge which becomes a great capital for conquest and justification among society. Methods like this are then referred to in a social science perspective as hegemony. Such is the high position of a man (Kyai) in the social construct of Islamic boarding school education that Dhofier considers the most essential element of an Islamic boarding school. In this context, men (Kyai) have a central role in the world of Islamic boarding schools and have a big influence on the phenomenon of socio-religious patriarchy in Islamic boarding schools, providing comprehensive insight into extracting the meaning of Al-rijāl and al-Nisā in the Qur'an so that provides an objective meaning view of the true meaning in studying these terms through scientific semantic analysis of interpreters.

Abstract

This research explains the role of the central bank as a monetary policy regulator that has the ability to control inflation and the exchange rate. This is proven by the circulation of currency in the economy which reflects changes in the amount of currency in circulation, interest rates, credit, exchange rates, and many other economic and financial variables. The method used in this article uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Descriptive refers to the researcher's efforts to systematically and accurately describe those who study or criticize literature, whether from books, journals or other documents, based on several opinions based on a number of research results from journalists or document critics. The results of the review show that a significant difference in Islamic monetary policy is that Islamic economics does not provide guarantees regarding nominal values, profit margins, or interest rates. Therefore, monetary policy automatically becomes sharia monetary policy, that is, it does not use interest rates as its operational target. The tool used is sharia law.

Abstract

The execution of the prayer, a fundamental duty for Muslims, encompasses a range of prerequisites, pillars, recommended practices, manners, and restrictions that should be adhered to during the act of worship. A crucial condition for a prayer to be deemed valid involves aligning oneself with the Qibla (the Ka’bah in Masjidil Haram) in the city of Mecca, a consensus reached by scholars. Consequently, there exists a necessity for tools that simplify the determination of the Qibla's direction. Over time, instruments for gauging the Qibla's orientation have evolved significantly, progressing from basic reference objects to user-friendly systems, ultimately leading to a reduction in the time required for measurement. This article will delve into the history of Qibla direction measurements in Indonesia using various methods, ranging from classical to modern approaches. The research employs a qualitative method with a literature review technique, aiming to reveal the historical development of Qibla direction measurements in Indonesia. The obligation to face the Qibla, with technological advancements, necessitates that regulations regarding the Qibla direction follow better guidelines to enhance the strength of worship implementation. Despite science providing information, religious authorities remain the ones to establish its laws.

Abstract

There is a lot of damage that occurs on earth, both on land and in the ocean, this has been explained in the Qur'an. As an ecosystem response to acts of damage committed by humans with the arrival of various natural disasters. There are about 800 verses that talk about the universe and the environment, and man is entrusted as a caliph with the task of maintaining and preserving the natural environment, so that there is a balance between nature and man. Natural Resources that are abundant in the bowels of the earth are intended for humans to meet their needs, so humans are forbidden to make damage. Damage from the natural environment will bring a negative impact on human life as a whole. Global Warming that occurs in some parts of the world is felt by the absence of seasonal regularity, and extreme seasons occur. Even though Allah has given the laws inherent in all creation, and the law works according to the Sunnatullah, but if it is damaged it will have a negative effect. This literary research will answer the impact of environmental damage on humans which has been explicitly explained by Allah through his words collected in the Qur'an. For this reason, the method of analysis used is interpretive comparative between interpretation kittabs. This study took several verses of the Qur'an about the destruction on earth with a mufassir scholar named Al Baidhawi in his book entitled Anwar Wa Al Tanzil Wa Asrar Al Ta'wil. The author takes the relevant verse and takes the essence of the discussion in the book. The findings of this study that environmental damage due to human actions has a multidimensional negative impact that is felt not only by the perpetrators of damage, but also felt by society in general. For this reason, solutions are offered, namely strengthening faith and piety implemented in life, being aware of the importance of the environment, and sustainable natural resource management.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that contrasts with the realization of the sakinah family in community life. The family is the smallest group in society consisting of husband, wife, and children. This is the principle of the formation of society. The majority of people assume that the factor of peace in family life is material, but many rich people do not get peace at home so there are often quarrels and discomfort. Problems that arise in the household can threaten the permanence of marriage and even lead to divorce. This arises due to the unfulfilled expectations of each partner as well as mental, social and spiritual unpreparedness. Furthermore, researchers examined the marriage verses in wahbah zuhayli's tafsir al Munir as a solution in realizing today's sakinah family. The hope is to find relevant and even solutive interpretations to deal with current problems. For the author, it is useful to add insight into mindsets, attitudes, and experiences as an effort to improve the quality of learning, by understanding the character of sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah in the family. The formulation of the problem in this study is (1) What is the Qur'anic view of the sakinah family? (2) What is the interpretation of the family verses sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah in wahbah zuhayli's tafsir al-Munir?  This research is a literature research that makes tafsir al Munir as the main source of research. This study used a descriptive-analytical approach. The method used is discriptive analysis, which explains interpretation to find out the results of interpretation and differences in the field of interpretation. Another analysis that uses the maudhu'i method is to discuss verses according to the appropriate theme by collecting and studying in depth various aspects related to asbab al-nuzul, mufradat and tafsir of these verses.

Abstract

This research intends to analyse comparatively the monetary policy in Iran and Pakistan. The object of this research is the Islamic countries of Iran and Pakistan. This research is a descriptive-analytical research with qualitative research, which is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written words from people and observed behaviour, supported by literature studies. The results of this study indicate that monetary policy in Iran and Pakistan as Islamic countries, both apply Sharia-based monetary, but also opened monetary services to accommodate a number of general, commercial and or conventional economic transactions. This shows that both Iran and Pakistan apply monetary governance that is committed to Islamic law, but is inclusive of conventional ones even though it cannot dominate them.  Monetary governance in both countries plays a more direct role in economic growth, not as an effective moderator of government economic policy.
