al-Afkar, Journal for Islamic Studies is published by Association of Secondment Lecturers (Asosiasi Dosen DPK) UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung Indonesia. Focus of al-Afkar, Journal for Islamic Studies is on publishing original empirical research articles and theoretical reviews of Islamic Studies, it covers various issues on the Islamic studies within such number of fields as Islamic Education, Islamic thought, Islamic law, political Islam, and Islamic economics from social and cultural perspectives and content analysis from al-Qur’an and Hadist.
In other than forementioned field in Islamic Studies, al-Afkar, Journal for Islamic Studies also accepts articles which cover the topic on the cross section between Islam Studies and other scientific field, such as sociology, law, economics, and others.

Ilmu pengetahuan adalah bagian yang penting bagi kehidupan. Saat ini, ilmu pengetahuan merupakan hasil dari peradaban barat sehingga terkadang ahli-ahli ilmu ini memiliki kecenderungan hanya mengedepankan akal bahkan aspek-aspek agama dikesampingkan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penyelarasan antara aspek ilmu pengetahuan dan aspek keagamaan dalam Islam agar dapat mengaplikasikan ilmu pengetahuan yang ada dengan baik serta dapat menumbuhkan kembali semangat keilmuan kaum Muslim untuk ikut andil dalam perkembangan keilmuan kedepannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Dalam Islam, Ilmu pengetahuan adalah keseluruhan sistem pengetahuan manusia yang telah dibakukan secara sistematis, didalam agama islam sendiri ilmu pengetahuan dikembangkan berdasarkan pada 3 pilar yaitu pilar Ontologis ( yang menjadi subjek ilmu), Pilar Aksiologis (tujuan ilmu pengetahuan) dan Pilar Epistemologis (cara untuk mencapai ilmu pengetahuan tersebut).

Penelitian ini menjelaskan konsep, implementasi, penghitungan bagi hasil dan kesesuaiannya dengan prisnsip syariah dan hukum fikih akad mudharabah pada Bank Syariah Mandiri KCP Indramayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui observasi dan wawancara serta melalui data penelusuran kajian pustaka yang relevan. Data kemudian ditelaah dan dianalisis kemudian di tarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian penulis bahwa aplikasi pembiayaan mudharabah pada Bank Syariah Mandiri KCP Indramayu dalam melakukan pembiayaan khususnya yang berbasis akad mudharabah memiliki syarat dan prosedur yang sistematis dengan beberapa tahapan. Penggunaan analisa 5C sebagai standard prudential dalam perbankan juga dilakukan atinya bank tetap mensyaratkan kepada nasabah pembiayaan harus memberikan jaminan (collateral) kepada bank.

The human society consists of two main pillars; male and female. Islam balanced mankind by addressing the issue of a female in a society and showed her duties and role in a society. The most happy Muslim family is the family which takes care of its children and raise them according to good morals. Raising a baby regardless of her sex is very important but raising a female baby needs some highest level of attention. Marriage is one of the very important event in Muslim society which is Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Islam gave much importance to marriage as well because its foundation of a family. Raising a female member of a family is a responsibility given by Islam to every parent. In view of this topic I have decided to write about Prophet PBUH methodology about raising a female child. Penelitian ini bertolak dari pemikiran, bahwa pada hakikatnya tujuan pendidikan anak di Indonesia merupakan kiristalisasi nilai – nilai hidup bangsa yaitu Pancasila. Tujuan tersebut ditetapkan dalam sistim Pendidikan Nasional. Tujuan pendidikan nasional yang dicanangkan dalam Undang – undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional ditetapkan dalam seluruh aktifitas pendidikan. Bagi keperluan pendidikan Islam, Islam diposisikan sebagai suatu nilai yang bertanggungjawab untuk menterjemahkan dan mengkritisi tujuan pendidikan tersebut. Antara pendidikan menurut Undang – Undang No 20 Tahun 2003 Tentang SISDIKNAS dan menurut Sistem Pendidikan Islam diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa(1). Kompetensi dan kecerdasan, keimanan dan memiliki pengetahuan seta keterampilan juga Kesehatan jasmani rohani merupakan manifestasi integritas dan keseimbangan jasmani, akal dan rohani. (2). Kompetensi iman dan takwa kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa dan berbudi pekerti luhur diidentifikasikan sebagai perwujudan dari Integrasi dan keseimbangan ibadah – muamalah dunia akhirat. (3). Kompetensi memiliki kepribadian yang mantap dan memiliki rasa tanggungjawab kemasyarakatan, merupakan pengejawantahan integritas dan keseimbangan individu dan sosial. Maka rumusan pendidikan pada prinsipnya iman dan taqwa, berbudi pekerti luhur, memiliki pengetahuan keterampilan yang mantap dan mandiri. Melalui pendidikan anak usia dini secara intensif diharapkan akan meningkatkan kwalitas sumber daya manusia, sehingga dapat mendominasi dan mengantisipasi pengaruh lingkungan yang yang kurang baik dan merugikan anak bangsa.

This study aims to describe and how the relationship between religiosity and altrusic behavior of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta. This is important to research considering how far the influence of religious education that has been presented in the Jakarta State University curriculum in the form of intracurricular, co-curricular and / or extracurricular activities. The method used in this research is quantitative correlation and probability sampling technique with purposive random sampling with homogeneous data which is used as a sample of 90 people from a population of 898 students. The theoretical analysis used for the religious variable (x) is the theory of the religious dimension of C.Y. Glock and R.W. Stark, while Cohen's theory is used for the altruistic behavior variable of students (y). Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that first, student diversity is considered good with an average value of 71.91%. Second, students' alturistic behavior is considered good with an average score of 68.20%. Third, there is a positive and quite significant relationship between religiosity and student altruistic behavior with a correlation value of 0.276 and a percentage of the relationship of 07.6% and there is a positive and significant influence on diversity (X) with student altruistic behavior (Y) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University. Negeri Jakarta based on the results of the regression calculation by comparing the F count and F table, with F count greater than F table, namely F count = 4.642 and F table = 4.15. So that the alternative hypothesis which states that there is an influence between religiosity on student altruistic behavior is accepted and the null hypothesis which states that there is no influence is rejected.

The development of science and technology is so fast. This development has an impact on the social fabric of society. This certainly must be responded by education in order to adapt to the development of these changes including Islamic religious education. Islamic education must be able to adapt to the changing times. One of the important things in education is the curriculum. Therefore, there is a need for curriculum reorientation in the context of adaptation to changes and developments in this era. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study. Curriculum components that need to be reoriented are educational goals, learning methods and approaches, contextual material and authentic assessment. This curriculum reorientation needs to be implemented to meet the needs of Islamic education of children who are able to adapt to the times.

This study departs from the assumption that a society that is transitioning from a technological perspective will affect its religious attitude. The research was conducted at the Parukuyan Community in the Ciburial Village, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency. This research uses qualitative methods with sociological and anthropological approaches. The theory used is Emile Durkheim's theory about the nature of religious experience. The results showed that: 1. The parukuyan community followers belong to religious groups, this is evidenced by the parukuyan followers in the divine aspect who believe in God as the ruler of the universe, however, in this divinity parukuyan followers practice religious syncretism in their beliefs. ; 2. In the aspect of message bearers and propagators of religion, parukuyan followers believe in prophethood as an intermediary from God to convey religious teachings to mankind, and also parukuyan followers respect guardians as the successors of prophets and spreaders of religious teachings; and 3. In the socio-cultural aspects such as radicalism and tolerance, followers of the Parukuyan association appreciate the diversity of humans in various aspects and are believed that this diversity is a necessity that everyone should respect.

Sufi is an activity that gives an ethical and spiritual touch to the community. In the midst of its development, on the other hand there is homework for the Sufi group to take part. Because of the moral decadence among students, their concern for the integrity of the ideology of the nation and the state is no longer in the realm of indifference, but rather contra and wishes to change it. So that the purpose of this article is to respond to the open insight of student nationality with the Sufism approach. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The result is a national insight for students as a motor in preserving the ideology of national and state sovereignty. Sufi groups' concern among students for government politics in a participatory and accommodating manner is a field of pious charity for him as an actualization to maintain a comfortable arena of spiritual activity. Apart from being an effort at tazkiyatun nafsi.

The Qur'an implies that the work of human evaluation is an important task in the series of educational processes carried out by educators. The focus of this research is How the basic concept of evaluation of education perspective of the Qur'an. The method used in this research with the approach of literature studies through library sources related to the concept of evaluation of education perpetif Qur'an and from various other literature sources. Then analyzed and presented the findings of the data objectively. The results showed that in this evaluation activity the system used should be based on the Quran and Sunah. Then in evaluating Islamic education requires procedures that must be used including planning, implementation, implementation monitors, data processing, reporting, and the use of evaluation results. Furthermore, in its implementation, some evaluation principles must be aimed at a good goal in a contingency, objective, thorough or comprehensive.

Social media is a tool of spreading news from and to the wider community. However, these technological advances have not been accompanied by a wise attitude in using them. Often founded hate speech there. This is very contradictory to Islamic teachings which encourage people to always respect each other. This study aimed to determine hate speech on social media based on Islamic perspective. Researchers used a qualitative approach with literature study. Data sources were news, articles, and all documents relevant to this topic. The method of data collection was literature research.The data analysis used is a content analysis through inductive and deductive approaches.The result of the discussion is that hate speech is speech that violates religious rules. Because hate speech can hurt other people. The kinds of hate speech according to Islam are backbiting, lying, namimah or provocation, and slander. The factors causing hate speech are internal and external factors. And the principles that must be had in order to avoid hate speech behavior are honest, fair, accurate and upright motives. The solution is the need for cooperation from all parties, open discussion on clear boundaries between hate speech and free speech, a comprehensive and intensive view of human nature.
