Abstract

The problem of unemployment which has increased drastically and was in the highest position in East Java is the main target for solving the Sidoarjo Regency Government. This problem can obstruct development in the area. There are several factors causing the increase of Open Unemployment Rate, including Economic Growth, Poverty Rates, and the Human Development Index. The study was conducted to determine the effect of Economic Growth, Poverty Rate, and Human Development Index on the Open Unemployment Rate in Sidoarjo Regency for the period from 2006-2020. The research was conducted using data obtained through BPS (Central Statistics Agency) of Sidoarjo Regency and East Java Province. The analysis applied for this study is multiple linear regression and testing with the BLUE assumption was carried out in the study to prove the results that this study passed the classical assumption test. After going through the testing stage, all of the independent variables together showed a significant impact on the dependent variable, then partially only economic growth and poverty levels had a significant negative and significant positive effect, while the Human Development Index variable had no effect on the Open Unemployment Rate in Sidoarjo Regency.

Abstract

Foreign exchange reserves is foreign currencies that are reserved at the central bank for the purposes of financing development and foreign transactions such as imports, foreign debt payments, investments and other financing. Foreign exchange reserves are very influential on the economic activities of a country. The amount of foreign exchange reserves can be used as an indicator to assess the country's resilience in facing the economic crisis. This study aims to determine the impact of exports, imports, inflation, exchange rates, foreign investment and foreign debt on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves during the period 2000-2019 using the Ordinary Least Square approach. The results show that exports, foreign investment, and foreign debt have a positive effect on foreign exchange reserves, while imports and exchange rates have a negative effect on foreign exchange reserves. Meanwhile, inflation has no effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves during the 2000-2019 period.

Abstract

Taxes are a source of enormous potential revenue. A country's collection system, both Self Assessment and Official Assessment, will greatly affect the increase in government funding receipts. One type of tax revenue is from a test assessment of corporate taxpayer compliance which will affect the assessment of tax objects objectively and professionally in accordance with assessment standards and tax provisions so that state revenues are expected to increase. The research methodology used is based on the type of qualitative research. One of the advantages of this method is that researchers can find an in-depth understanding or interpretation of a phenomenon that is happening. In addition, descriptive qualitative research is carried out by examining the literature or literature studies that focus on explaining the research results obtained, as well as by collecting data by in-depth interviews. The results of the study indicate that it is necessary to conduct a business assessment to determine the value of an object of assessment in an objective and professional manner according to assessment standards and tax regulations on going concern, including business ownership interest, transactions and everything that affects on the value of corporations, to increase state revenue because currently its implementation is not optimal.

Abstract

Islamic banking is a banking system whose implementation is based on Islamic law. Financial institutions whose operational activities and products adhere to Islamic principles based on Islamic principles Quran and Hadith. The characteristics of Islamic banking are actually based on the core product of profit-sharing financing developed in the product musyarakah and mudharabah financing. The presence of Islamic banking should have a major impact on real sector growth. One unit Businesses that need to be developed to encourage real sector growth are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which in the current national economy has a very important position, because of its contribution to employment and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). As well as its flexibility and toughness in facing an economic crisis. The role of working capital microfinance plays an important role in providing guidance to (MSMEs) to develop businesses, provide consulting on business development and facilitating the existence of a place of business in the Palembang city.

Abstract

Brand loyalty is a behavior of consumer loyalty to the brand by repurchasing the same product more than once. The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of brand image and brand trust on brand loyalty.This research uses quantitative methods. The questionnaire survey uses a Likert scale with a population and a sample of 90 consumers in the Gresik area. The selection of this research sample is based on purposive sampling. The results of the analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) application with validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that the brand image has made a high contribution to brand loyalty in Roma Sari wheat products. Brand trust can contribute to brand loyalty in Roma Sari Gandum Products. It means that the better the brand image produced by a product, the higher the brand loyalty. Even if brand trust, the higher the brand trust, the higher the brand loyalty.

Abstract

Consumption is an important instrument in the economic development of a country. The high level of consumption reflects that the income of the people in the country is also high. However, the fulfillment of these consumption goods also comes from imported goods, so this condition is not very good for the domestic economy because imports can reduce the exchange rate and reduce national foreign exchange. This study aims to estimate the effect of per capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP), rupiah exchange rate against the United States dollar, inflation, and taxes on imports of Indonesian consumer goods in 2000-2021 using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression analysis. The results showed that per capita GDP had a positive effect on imports of consumer goods and a negative exchange rate on imports of consumer goods. Meanwhile, inflation and tax revenues were found to have no effect on the value of imports of consumer goods in Indonesia. It is hoped that the government together with the national monetary unit will be able to maintain stabilization of the rupiah exchange rate so that the inflation rate is in line with the needs of the national economy. It is hoped that public consumption can be maintained and the expected national economic growth can be achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational support and spirituality in the workplace through organizational commitment on employee performance. The target population for this research is Civil Servants (PNS) in the National Unity and Politics Agency of Jambi Province, totaling 89 people. Where the sampling technique in this study used the Krejcie and Morgan tables with a margin of error of 5% so that a sample of 76 people was obtained. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey methods and uses Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis. The results showed that organizational support and spirituality in the workplace directly affect organizational commitment and employee performance. While indirectly only organizational support has an indirect effect through organizational commitment, while spirituality in the workplace does not have an indirect influence through organizational commitment as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This research purposely to know the factors that affect the failed shipments at PT. Pos Indonesia Drop Center Soreang Bandung Regency, West Java. This research used Quantitative Descriptive Methode with explanation data using Check Sheet, Pareto Chart and Fishbone Diagram. The sample used delivery data from Juli-September 2021. The Result of the analysis show that the main cause of failed shipment at PT. Pos Indonesia Drop Center Soreang Bandung Regency, West Java is an Unclear/Uncomplete Address followed by seven factors such as Unknown Address, Recipient Moved, Rejected by Recipient, Empty House, Clogged Address, Recipient Died and Cause of Force Majeure. To minimize this factors, PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) provides standards and target for failed shipments. It was found that the average rate of failed shipment during the research was 5,7%. This research show that the company has not reached the maximum target for failed shipments which is 3%. As for suggestions for companies to minimize the causes of failed shipments by increasing supervision of writing addresses in accordance with applicable SOP (Standar Operating Procedures) and always re-checking when sending letters or goods.

Abstract

The success or failure of an organization in achieving a goal is largely determined by human resources. Although other factors are also important, such as capital and equipment, in the end it is humans who will act as managers and implementers, so that organizational goals can be achieved properly. The purpose of this study is to explain the relationship between leadership and organizational commitment to work morale and to confirm the variables of these relationships and also the effect of the influence of these variables. This study uses a non-probability sampling method with a saturated sampling technique (census), with a sample of 72 people from the entire population. Spearman rank correlation analysis, determination, t test, and test were used as data analysis techniques, and SPSS Version 22.0 was used to test the data obtained in this study. The results showed that leadership and organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on employee morale, either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of work facilities on teacher performance in online learning at Erlangga Private Junior High School Pematangsiantar. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis method and documentation method. The data analysis technique started from normality test, simple linear analysis, correlation coefficient and determination and hypothesis testing with the help of the IBM SPSS Version 21 program. The results of the simple linear regression analysis showed that there was a positive influence of facilities on teacher performance. The results of the correlation coefficient analysis show that there is a strong and positive relationship between facilities and teacher performance. The results of the partial test with the t test H0 were rejected, meaning that there was a positive and significant influence between the facilities on the teacher's performance.
