Abstract

This study examines the effects of interest rates and deposit insurance agency presence on inflation and GDP growth in ASEAN countries from 2019 to 2023. Using a quantitative approach with linear regression analysis, the findings reveal that higher interest rates are associated with lower inflation, highlighting the effectiveness of monetary policy in managing price stability within the region. Additionally, the existence of deposit insurance agencies positively impacts both inflation and GDP growth. While deposit insurance enhances financial stability and fosters economic growth by boosting public confidence, it may also contribute to inflation through increased consumer and investment activity. These findings suggest that ASEAN policymakers should adopt a balanced approach, combining interest rate adjustments for inflation control with carefully managed financial stability measures to support sustainable growth. This study provides valuable insights into the roles of monetary and financial stability policies, underscoring the importance of an integrated policy framework to achieve economic resilience in emerging markets. Future research could explore the interaction between these policies and other structural factors to develop comprehensive strategies for sustaining growth in the ASEAN region.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between carbon emissions and capital market performance and economic conditions in Indonesia during the period 2022.12-2025.7. The research method used is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) with the help of Impulse Response Function (IRF) and Forecast Error Variance Decomposition (FEVD) analysis. The results of this study indicate that carbon emissions are negatively related to the capital market index and GDP, especially in the long term. Carbon emissions are more influenced by the capital market index (LCL-45) than by GDP. However, carbon emissions are most influenced by the carbon emission variable itself. This means that environmentally friendly business activities such as the use of renewable energy are needed in addition to continuing business operations, but carbon emissions can be reduced. In addition, beyond business and economic activities, environmental conservation activities are also needed to reduce carbon emissions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence, resilience, and workload on employee performance in the digital era. The research method uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques through SmartPLS software. The research sample was 300 employees in Medan City who work in organizations that have implemented digital transformation. The results showed that emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (ÿ = 0.285, t = 4.167, p < 0.01), resilience had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (ÿ = 0.321, t = 5.234, p < 0.01), while workload had a negative and significant effect on employee performance (ÿ = -0.198, t = 3.042, p < 0.01). Simultaneously, the three variables were able to explain 47.6% of the variance in employee performance in the digital era (R² = 0.476). This research provides a theoretical contribution in developing an integrative model of psychological factors that influence performance in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of foreign ownership and corporate governance on firm performance, with R&D intensity as a mediating variable in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021–2024 period. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from annual reports and company financial statements, and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that foreign ownership and corporate governance have a significant positive effect on R&D intensity. In addition, foreign ownership has a significant positive effect on firm performance, while corporate governance has no significant direct effect on firm performance. The results of the mediation test indicate that R&D intensity significantly mediates the relationship between foreign ownership and firm performance, but is unable to mediate the relationship between corporate governance and firm performance. This study concludes that R&D intensity acts as a strategic mechanism that strengthens the influence of foreign ownership on improving firm performance, thus providing an empirical contribution in explaining the role of innovation as a link between ownership structure and firm performance in the food and beverage industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021–2024 period.
