Abstract

Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects in elementary school. Therefore, it is expected that by introducing Islamic values in mathematics learning, students can learn mathematics and understand the greatness of Allah SWT. This research is motivated by the lack of students' understanding of Islamic values instilled in mathematics learning because mathematics material lacks a connection with Islamic values. This research was conducted at SDN 100315 Sanggapati, East Angkola Subdistrict, South Tapanuli and all students are predominantly Muslim. This research is a qualitative research that uses data collection methods through observation at elementary schools, interviews with SDN 100315 Sanggapati teachers, and learning documentation according to the lesson plan. The purpose of the research is to find out the integration of Islamic values and mathematics education in developing students with Islamic character at SDN 100315 Sanggapati.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk medeskripsikan penggunaan dari indikator alami kajian asam basa pada LKS dan medeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan LKS terintegrasi indikator alami pada kajian asam basa pada pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan menumbuhkan kedisplinan siswa. Metode pada penelitian ini one group design yakni penelitian yang hanya dilakukan pada satu kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, pretes dan postes dan lembar observasi kedisplinan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh persentase rata-rata observasi keterlaksanan pembelajaran sebesar 100% dengan kategori sangat baik, dengan nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 46,1 dan nilai rata-rata postes sebesar 81 dengan N-Gain skor pada pretes dan postes sebesar 0,5 dangan kategori sedang dan persentase N-Gain sebesar 56,10%. Sedangkan pada kedisplinan siswa di dapatkan N persentase rata-rata sebesar 89,53% yang dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan indikator alami kajian asam basa pada lks cukup efektif dapat meningkat hasil belajar siswa dan menumbuhkan kedisplinan siswa dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Seiring dengan tantangan pada era yang semakin maju, tuntutan terhadap proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas terus meningkat sehingga memiliki dampak pada tujuan dan makna pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang baik menuntut kemampuan guru untuk berinovasi dengan menyediakan media pembelajaran yang menarik, menyenangkan dan berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan respons siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E berbantuan media Canva. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian survei dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII disalah satu SMP di Surabaya yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket respons siswa yang dibuat secara online melalui web penyedia survei online, yaitu Zoho Forms. Angket respons siswa terdiri dari 12 pernyataan yang dikembangkan dari 6 indikator, yaitu keterlibatan kognitif, keterlibatan emosional, motivasi instrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik, pengalaman kompetensi dan pengalaman berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase angket respons siswa yang diperoleh, yaitu sebesar 91,5%. Jumlah persentase tersebut menunjukkan bahwa respons dari siswa sangat setuju dengan kriteria setiap indikator yang terdapat pada angket respons. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E berbantuan media Canva mendapatkan respons yang sangat positif dari siswa.

Abstract

Research on the Exploration and Characterization of Several Local Rice Plants in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of diversity and similarity of the phenotypic character of local rice plants with the exploration and identification of morphological characters in South Tapanuli Regency. Sampling was carried out randomly (purposive sampling) from South Tapanuli Regency. The data observed are in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data of local rice plants.  The results of the study show that rice cultivars are found in various areas in South Tapanuli Regency with a high diversity of characteristics. From the observation results, a similarity analysis was described and carried out using the NTSYS 2.02 program. The results showed that 10 cultivars of local rice plants with a similarity coefficient of 0.29-0.92 or 29-92% were obtained. 2 genotypes were obtained that were grouped close together, namely C4 and C5 at a coefficient of 0.71. Judging from the coefficient of similarity of local rice plants in the location are close relatives.

Abstract

Economic potential and growing public interest in the grapes have led to the plant having high prospects for cultivation and development in other parts of Indonesia. The aim of this research is to produce quality seedlings through network culture techniques. The method of providing grape seed is relatively fast with the amount of seed produced quite a lot that is through the technique of network culture. The research was conducted from March to May 2023 at the Laboratory of Physiology and Culture of Plant Networks, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of North Sumatra, Field, North Sumatera. Parameters observed in Vitis vinifera plant tissue culture practices with a combination of IAA and BAP treatment on MS media are growth time, growth percentage and contamination percentages. Data from the study was analyzed using Analysis Of Variance (ANNOVA). If the treatment gives a significant different effect then proceed with the Duncan New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the level of 5% (P 0.05) on the treatment factor.Treatment I1 has the fastest increasing power output with an average growth time of 9 a. Further testing results show that the treatment of IAA and BAP hormones in different media is significantly higher than the control. The results of the study showed that the highest percentage of explanation growth (100%), although it took a relatively longer time to form the calus and shoots.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes through a demonstration of the use of Al2(SO4)3 for dyeing fabric on colloidal materials. The method in this research is one group design, namely research is only carried out in one class. Data collection techniques used field observation, interviews, pretest and posttest as well as response questionnaires. The results of this research showed that the average pretest score before treatment was 53.68%, while after treatment there was an increase with an average posttest score of 81.04% with a pretest and posttest N-Gain index of 0.5 in the medium category and a percentage of 58%. Based on the results of this research, the application of Al2(SO4)3 for effective fabric coloring can increase students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Realistic Mathematics Education approach emphasizes understanding concepts through the context of everyday life, while conventional methods can provide a solid foundation in mathematical concepts. Therefore, teachers use conventional and realistic methods in teaching mathematics to improve student learning outcomes. Comparative analysis is the research method used in this study. The purpose of the Comparative Study between Realistic Mathematics Learning and Conventional Methods in Improving Students' Understanding of Mathematics Concepts is to compare how well the two approaches, realistic mathematics learning and conventional methods, in improving students' understanding of mathematics concepts. This research aims to find out whether the conventional approach or the Realistic Mathematics learning method is more effective in helping students understand mathematical concepts. It is expected that the information or data obtained from this research can provide an overview of learning strategies that are more effective in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The final result of this research is expected to provide important data related to learning strategies that are more feasible to help students in understanding numerical ideas. The results of this study will have a significant impact on the development of more efficient methods for teaching mathematics in the classroom.

Abstract

The application of probing and prompting techniques is the application of science and technology by conducting investigations or examinations by relating questions in the form of cause and effect aimed at encouraging or guiding the achievement of satisfactory learning outcomes. The application of probing and prompting techniques as a source of independent learning because it requires the involvement of students in exploring and guiding learning. The application of probing and prompting techniques is expected to make students more interactive in learning. So that student curiosity can increase in accordance with the expected learning objectives. This research was motivated because probing and prompting techniques had never been applied at SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the application of probing and prompting techniques on students' curiosity and learning outcomes on oxidation reduction reaction material in class X MIA SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan. The data on the curiosity test of students in the experimental class was with an average of 49.37 and in the control class was with an average of 49.17, so students' curiosity was higher in the experimental class. Then classes that used Probing and Promting techniques obtained an average learning outcome test of 36.47 to 79, so there was an increase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the activities of accelerated class students and students who get the highest, medium, and lowest grades before the odd End of Semester Summative in science subjects. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. This research involved targets, namely accelerated class students and 1 science teacher of JHS State of 1 Sidoarjo. The research instruments used were student response questionnaires, student response interviews, and teachers. The results showed that accelerated class student activities, namely learning carried out by 33 students, learning every day by 20 students, following tutoring by 21 students, studying with friends by 16 students, making a study schedule for 19 students, exercising by 4 students, participating in extracurricular activities by 7 students, participating in extracurricular activities outside school by 11 students, breakfast before the exam by 25 students,  33 students are in good physical condition, and 20 students are in a happy emotional state. The activities of accelerated class students who get the highest scores are not too dense. The activity of accelerated class students who get moderate grades is denser than students who get the highest grades. The activities of accelerated class students who get the lowest grades are not as dense as students who get the highest and lowest scores.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan problem solving siswa melalui soal – soal pada materi tekanan zat cair. Metodologi deskriptif kuantitatif adalah pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan.  metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Labschool Unesa 2. Sebanyak sepuluh soal pilihan ganda pada lembar tes yang mengukur kemampuan problem solving pada materi tekanan zat cair digunakan sebagai instrumen. Siswa diberikan lembar tes sebagai salah satu pendekatan pengumpulan data. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung proporsi indikator keterampilan problem solving yang kemudian dikategorikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah keterampilan problem solving siswa pada empat indikator menurut Polya (1973) tergolong pada kategori kurang dengan persentase indikator memahami masalah 33%, develop a plan 53%, carry out the solution 28%, dan memeriksa kembali hasil 53%. Upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan problem solving siswa dapat dilakukan dengan meperhatikan faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal terkait dengan keterampilan kognisi siswa, sedangkan faktor eksternal terkait strategi pembelajaran. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan seorang guru yakni dengan pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat.
