Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine 1) The interaction effect between teaching methods and learning styles of the ability to think criticism biology, 2) Critical thinking skills of biology that uses the learning Problem Solving and Problem Posing, and, 3) Critical thinking skills biology to has studied the style of visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. The method used is experiment. Affordable population are students of class IX in south Jakarta SMPN 131 is 198 students. Samples numbered 72 students. The sampling technique was multistage sampling. The instrument used is a biological test critical thinking skills and test results learners learning styles questionnaire. The data analysis using descriptive statistics and analysis of variance (ANOVA) in both directions. The results of the study hypothesis was obtained conclusions: 1) There is no interaction effect between teaching methods and learning styles on learning outcomes biology students. Interaction analysis using ANOVA obtained Fo = 2.235 and Sig. = 0.115> 0.05 at the 5% significance level. 2) There is a learning method influence on the ability to think criticism. Results of the analysis of data between classes using ANOVA obtained Fo = 20.309 and Sig. = 0.000 <0.05 at the 5% significance level. 3) There is no learning styles influence on the ability to think criticism biology. The results of data analysis using ANOVA obtained Fo = 0.414 and Sig. = 0.663> 0.05 at the 5% significance level. Keywords: Method of Learning, Learning Styles, Thinking Criticism.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to optimalize study result BIOLOGY kinetic system on human & animal with cooperative jigsaw type approach for student class XI IPA 1 SMA 97 Jakarta in semester 2009/2010.The research held in September–November 2009, method of research use action class research, divide two cycle. Every cycle is two times meeting & for the third meeting, would be held post test. As the comparative thing, before we held research, teacher made mid test score as precycle score. Succesfull indicator is the increase understanding concept from post test score. The instrument use many papers test. Based on action in cycle I & cycle II we can conclude that by using the right study method, the studying model cooperative jigsaw type increase study result especially kinetic system & encourage student to learn knowledge harder & implementing cooperative attitude between students.

Abstract

Fisika sering kali dianggap pelajaran yang paling sulit dikuasai oleh karena itu diperlukan model pembelajaran yang mampu membantu serta dapat memanfaatkan apa yang disediakan oleh alam yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan (menggunakan fasilitas belajar di lingkungan alam sekitar dalam proses pembelajaran). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penggunaan fasilitas belajar di lingkungan alam sekitar terhadap keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan dua kelompok yang akan diteliti yaitu kelompok pertama mendapatkan perlakuan (treatment) atau kelompok yang menggunakan fasilitas belajar di lingkungan alam sekitar disebut kelas eksperimen, sedangkan kelompok yang kedua merupakan kelompok pengendali atau kelompok kontrol dimana kelompok ini menggunakan fasilitas belajar  yang biasa digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, instrument yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode observasi. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired t-test (uji perbedaan dua rata-rata). Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil uji perbedaan dua rata-rata data tdaf  (? = 5%) = 1,67 dan   tdaf (? = 1%) = 2,39 sedangkan thit = 6,04. Sehingga thit > tdaf  yang berarti bahwa rata-rata keterampilan proses sains kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari rata-rata keterampilan proses sains kelas kontrol. Dengan kata lain, penggunaan fasilitas belajar di lingkungan alam sekitar memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan proses sains. Keberhasilan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains disebabkan karena dampak dari penggunaan fasilitas belajar di lingkungan alam sekitar.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to the determinate the effect of study time on mathematics learning outcomes. To determinate the effect of interest in earning the mathematics learning outcomes. To determinate the effect of the interaction between study time and interest in learning the mathematics learning outcomes. Methods of research used survey methods expose facto. Sample of 52 people selected at random from all junior high school students in the district Cipayung. Data collection is done by giving a written test questions to measure variables studied. Data analysis using descriptive statistics and 2-way anova. the results showed the significant effect of study time on mathematics learning outcomes with sig = 0,038. There is significant effect of interest in learning the mathematics learning outcomes with sig – 0,00. There is no significant effect of the interaction between study time and interest in learning the mathematics learning outcomes with sig = 0,422.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK), which aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics through NHT type cooperative learning model in students of class VIII A MTs. Muhammadiyah conducted collaboratively between researchers and teachers of mathematics studies. In the implementation of this research, it is done by giving group worksheet and observation sheet of student activity using NHT type cooperative learning model after giving an explanation about Pythagoras Theorem material as much as two cycles that cycle I and II. After being given group worksheets then conducted the assessment includes assessment of test results of a cycle I and cycles II and group worksheet to students that is by applying learning model of cooperative learning type NHT. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII A which amounted to 20 students consisting of 15 male students and 5 female students. Techniques of collecting data in research are this observation and test. The data obtained were then analyzed. The results of the study showed that the implementation using NHT type cooperative learning model on Pythagoras Theorem material. the ability of students in solving problems on the material above has increased. With the increase of the average value of students in the first cycle was 43.45 and increased in cycle II 83.90. Improvement of student learning outcomes to mathematics learning using NHT type cooperative learning is good. This is indicated by the average value of group learning outcomes in cycle I 60.00 or being in the medium category and the average score of the learning outcomes of the group in cycle I 82.50 or in the high category. This shows the result of increased mathematics learning after conducting cooperative learning model of NHT type

Abstract

Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis adalah metode eksperimen, sedangkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Uji-t untuk uji beda rata-rata, yang sebelumnya telah dilakukan uji normalitas menggunakan uji Liliefors dan uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Fisher. Berdasarkan uji normalitas data kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan rumus uji Liliefors didapat Lo < Ltabel (0.08 < 0.19), sedangkan kelas kontrol Lo < Ltabel (0.109 < 0.19), dari data tersebut dapat dinyatakan kedua kelas berdistribusi normal, sedangkan untuk uji homogenitas didapat Fhitung < Ftabel (1.13 < 2.165) adalah homogen. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t didapatkan hasil Thitung > Ttabel (4.647 > 2.093), maka hipotesis H0 di tolak dan H1 diterima.Hasil temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar Biologi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Resource Based Learning untuk materi Ekosistem yang diajarkan terdapat perbedaan dengan menggunakan metode Diskusi pada matapelajaran Biologi materi Ekosistem kelas X MA Al-Khairiyah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ekosistem melalui penggunaan laboratorium alam klas 7 di SMP negeri 86 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara saintifik antara peneliti dengan guru IPA dan siswa yang menjadi subjek dari penelitian. PTK dilakukan dua siklus dengan empat kali pertemuan. Kegiatan siklus terdiri dari empat kegiatan pokok yaitu perencanaan (plan), tindakan pelaksanaan (action), observasi (observation), dan refleksi (reflective). Akhir dari pengajaran kelas PTK diberikan tes berbentuk soal dan angket. Hasil data kemudian akan dianalisis dalam bentuk analisis deskriptif, kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dari data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan laboratorium alam meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa dengan pokok bahasan ekosistem kelas 7 SMP Negeri 86 Jakarta Selatan sebesar 80% peningkatan tersebut diperoleh setelah dua kali siklus tindakan kelas.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh status gizi, konsumsi pangan, dan fasilitas belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar matematika anak SDN 09 Pagi Jakarta Utara, mengetahui pengaruh status gizi terhadap prestasi belajar matematika anak, mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi pangan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika anak, dan mengetahui pengaruh fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Sampel berjumlah 40 anak di kelas 4. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik penyebaran angket dan teknik tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu uji F dan uji t. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara status gizi, konsumsi pangan,dan fasilitas belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar matematika anak (p = 0.000). Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara status gizi terhadap prestasi belajar matematika anak (p = 0.025). Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara konsumsi pangan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika anak (p = 0.031). Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika anak (p = 0.000). Kata Kunci: Status Gizi, Konsumsi Pangan, Fasilitas Belajar, Prestasti Belajar Matematika.

Abstract

This causal research is aimed at obtaining information related to the effect of science process skills, reasoning, and problem solving on physics learning outcomes. The research had been held in SMAN 28 South of Jakarta. In this research, 100 samples were selected randomly, and data were collected through survey, test, and documentation. The data has been analyzed by path analysis after all variables put into the correlation matrix and use of structural equations to calculate path coefficient. The finding of the research shows that student’s physics learning outcomes is affected positively direct by science process skills, reasoning, and problem solving. Based on those findings, it could be concluded that increasing of student’s physics learning outcomes might be affected by science process skills, reasoning, and problem solving. Therefore, the results of this research will be implicate on the learning method, and arrangement of physics learning outcomes test, which measure science process skills, reasoning and problem solving ability. Teacher use appropriate learning method with notice student cognitive development, for better achievement physics learning outcomes. However, other variables are necessary to be taken in to account by next physics learning outcomes research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the contribution of chemistry laboratory and student attitudes toward the utilization of chemistry laboratory toward critical and creative thinking skill. Subjects of students of class XI SMAN 66 in Cilandak, South Jakarta. Selection of sample class using random sampling technique. Analysis of research data using MANOVA. From the results of the study concluded that (1) there is influence of laboratory contribution to critical and creative thinking skill; (2) there is influence of attitude toward laboratory utilization on critical thinking and creative thinking skill; (3) there is no interaction between laboratory contributions and attitudes towards laboratory utilization of critical thinking and creative thinking skill.
