Abstract

This research is based on low science learning achievement of student in class IIIA SD Negeri 191 Pekanbaru with the of students reach KKM is 20.51%. This research is a classroom action research. This research aims to science learning outcomes of students by implementing the cooperative learning model of type Make a Match. There are 39 students in the class, consisting 21 boys and 18 girls. The instruments of data collection in this study were observation sheets of teacher activities and student activities as well as tests of science learning outcomes. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to treatment of the first cycle to the second cycle. The result of this research showed an increase in student from the based score with the persentage 20,51%, to 53,85% on the first test and 87,18% on the second test. From the result of this study concluded that cooperative learning model of type make a match can improve the students learning achievement at class IIIA SD Negeri 191 Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2018/2019.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low value of Natural sciense in grade IIIB students at SDN 188 Pekanbaru, this is caused by several factors, namely 1) The lack of teachers involves students in active learning, 2) Teachers rarely do varying learning methods so they use the lecture method more 3) More theory than the practice given by the teacher, 4) The teacher does not understand the personal characteristics of each student. For this reason, researchers try to apply an interactive learning model and create a fun and enjoyable learning environment for students, namely the Quantum teaching model. Which aims to improve the learning outcomes of class IIIB students at SDN 188 Pekanbaru. This research is a classroom action research, carried out in 3 cycles with 2 meetings and 1 daily replication in each cycle, it aims to see the development of learning outcomes each cycle. Based on data from classroom action research, by applying the Quantum teaching model conducted from April 16 to May 10, 2018, it can be seen that there is an increase in the average student learning outcomes in each cycle, starting from the initial data collection of the average score of the basic score 67.5 in the implementation of cycle 1 the average student learning outcomes increased to 72.59, then in cycle 2 it increased to 76.28, then in cycle 3 it increased again to 80.36.This it can be concluded that the application of the Quantum teaching model can improve the Natural sciense learning outcomes of grade IIIB students at SDN 188 pekanbaru.

Abstract

The background of this research is that researchers found several problems regarding the implementation of inclusive education, especially in terms of the process of learning inclusion in elementary schools. The study aims to describe how the inclusive learning process in one of the primary schools administering inclusive education in Pekanbaru. The inclusion learning process is seen from the application of indicators, there are three indicators The inclusion learning process studied in this study are: 1) Inclusion Learning Planning, 2) Inclusion Learning Implementation, 3) Evaluation and Follow-Up Inclusion Learning. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods, the instruments in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study it was found that: (1) In planning learning the classroom teacher first understood the characteristics of students in general, especially the characteristics of students with Special Needs, and learning planning contained in the same Learning Process Plan, both for regular students and students with Special Needs (2) The implementation of learning is carried out as planned in the Learning Process Plan . The teacher conducts conditioning by preparing students physically and psychologically. The use of models, methods, learning media is equated between regular and students with Special Needs, (3) In evaluation and follow-up, the teacher conducts a daily evaluation of each finished material and plans follow up activities with special companion teachers in the form of enrichment carried out in special guidance. In special guidance students were given enrichment material with the drill method plus media assistance in the form of concrete teaching aids to strengthen the understanding of students with Special Needs in a learning concept.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe in depth about how parenting Sarifudin family in developing the social skills of children. In this research the type of research used by the author is a descriptive qualitative research with approach case studies. The subject of this research is the third child of father Sarifudin named Neriza Safitri. Source data taken from parents Neriza consisting of a father and mother, a third son named Neriza Safitri and neighbors near Sarifudin family. Using data collection techniques of observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. Data analysis technique used is the reduction of data, data presentation, and conclusion. From the results of research that has been done can be drawn the conclusion that in the family Sarifudin parenting that is applied to his son was a democratic type of parenting. Democratic parenting is parenting that gives to the son demands at once responsive to the will and the will of the child. Democratic parents will be asertif, i.e. let children to choose what he thought good, encouraging children to take responsibility for the choices, but still set the standards and a clear limitation on the child and always watching him. They are still engaged in an intensive communication and warm as well as responsive to the needs of the child. Warm communication allows the existence of discussions. In applying the discipline of democratic parents will be sportsmanship, meaning that when children do not comply with the rules of the parents and be able to explain the reason, parents are willing to hear and understand.

Abstract

The background of this study is learning outcomes of students of SDN 18 Pekanbaru, it is known that has not reached the value according to the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) which is 75. This study aims to determine how the application of inquiry learning models to science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 18 Pekanbaru. This study was a quasi-experimental study with pretest and two groups (experimental group and control group). The experimental group was the group given inquiry treatment model. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an effect of the implementation of inquiry learning models on science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 18 Pekanbaru It is known that the tcount is greater than ttable (4.60> 2,006), the research hypothesis which says there is an effect of the implementation of inquiry learning model to the results of science learning of fifth grade students of SDN 18 Pekanbaru, is accepted.

Abstract

The background of this study is caused by fifth grade student have low learning out come in SDN 47 Pekanbaru.The standard score in school is 70 from 41 students,only 20 students has reached the standard score with percentage 48,78% and there are 21 students didn't reached standard score yet,with percentage 51,21% and average score is 60,24. the aimof this research is for increase learning outcome mathematics of fifth grade students SDN 47 Pekanbaru by implemertation of treffinger learning model.The result showed that the average score of 60,24 increase in cycle Iasi 27,53% to 76,82. In cycle II the average student also experienced an increase of 42.30% to 85.73. Teacher activity at the first meeting of cycle I the percentage is 65% with Enough category. The second meeting increased to 75% with good category. At the first meeting of the second cycle of teacher activity increased to 90% with good category. At the second meeting it increased to 95% with very good category. Student activity at first meeting of cycle I the percentage is 60% with enough category. The second meeting increased to 75% with good category. At the first meeting of cycle II student activity increased to 85% with good category. At the second meeting it increased to 95% with very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the attitude of creative appreciation of students in studying literature to improve students' psychiatric responses to literature in Indonesian students. The design of this study is classroom action research with three cycles. The research subjects are fourth grade students with a total of 25 people. The results showed the attitude of students' creative appreciation in interpreting behavior, the nature of sensitivity and capturing ideas of literary works can be raised in students slowly during the learning process and increase every cycle. Then the students' psychological responses in interpreting behavior, the nature of sensitivity and capturing ideas of literary work can motivate students both internally and externally so that results are improved.

Abstract

The STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach integrates various disciplines to create a holistic and interdisciplinary learning experience. In the context of elementary education, projects such as constructing wind turbines and mini bridges provide opportunities for students to apply scientific and technical concepts in practical projects. Through the wind turbine project, students learn about the principles of physics and engineering in designing and building models that can generate energy. Meanwhile, the mini bridge project teaches students about structure and material strength, as well as the importance of design in engineering. Both projects require students to collaborate in groups, divide tasks, and solve problems collaboratively. Implementing the STEAM approach in these projects has proven effective in enhancing students' 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. Furthermore, this approach also increases students' motivation and interest in learning, as they can directly see the practical applications of the concepts being studied. Overall, STEAM-based projects like wind turbines and mini bridges not only enrich students' learning experiences but also prepare them to face future challenges with relevant and applicable skills.

Abstract

The STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions) cooperative learning model is the simplest cooperative learning model that involves students participating in small groups. This study aims to describe the effect of the STAD learning model on the writing skills of students in Grade XI at SMA Negeri 1 Cilimus. This is a quantitative study. The research method used is an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The instruments used in this study are pretest and posttest questions. Data collection techniques include observation, literature review, documentation, and testing. Data analysis techniques used expert validity tests, data normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-Test. Before the implementation of the STAD model, only 2 out of 35 students in the experimental and control classes achieved the Minimum Passing Criteria (KKM) of 75. After implementation, the number of students in the experimental class who achieved the KKM increased to 32, with the average score rising from 36.69 to 85.03. Meanwhile, in the control class using the lecture method, only 8 students achieved the KKM, with the average score increasing from 36.54 to 65.00. The hypothesis test used an Independent Sample Test with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between the two classes. These results show that there is a significant effect before and after using the STAD cooperative learning model on the writing skills of students in Class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Cilimus.

Abstract

Online learning is distance learning using the internet network. Online learning is a new experience for teachers, students and parents. So the implementation is very different and this will be related to the learning outcomes of students in online learners. This study aims to find out the learning outcomes of students with online methods and describe the factors that affect them. This type of research is qualitatively descriptive. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 016 Beringin Jaya with the research subjects of two teachers, six students and five parents of V-grade students. The research technique is observation, interview and documentation with the research institute of interview guidelines so that researchers are more targeted. Data analysis techniques use the Miles &Huberman analysis model which consists of three stages namely data reduction, data display, withdrawal and verification of conclusions. The results of this study show that the implementation of online learning has not been effective, the learning outcomes of class V students have been well seen from the achievement of KKM and the factors that affect it, namely from students who include craft, discipline, ability and factors from outside the student, namely the limitations of the internet network, difficulties experienced by teachers and the role of parents.
