Abstract

The focus of this research is the implementation of community-based education (PBM) in PKBM Hangtuah and PKBM Sari with research subfokus: (1) Understanding of institution leadership on PBM; (2) Implementation of planning process, organizing, leading and controlling curriculum in PKBM studied; (3) The way of institution leadership in ensuring all PKBM learning activities to be run in accordance with the work program (running a smooth ship). This research uses a qualitative approach where researchers describe the phenomena obtained during the research on the implementation of PBM in PKBM studied. Data collection techniques used include (1) interviews, (2) observation, (3) documentation study. As for techniques to check the validity of the data using triangulation data. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, verification or conclusion. The conclusion of this study are (1) Understanding PKBM leaders Hangtuah and PKBM Sari pertained good to PBM. The leaders of both institutions understand the concept of PKBM established from, by and for the community, knowing operational guidelines for the implementation of PKBM and has conducted the management of PKBM in accordance with the technical guidelines, knowing the technical service program and the obligations of PKBM and knowing the community needs around PKBM; (2) The leaders of both institutions have done a good planning, organizing, leading and controlling process. In the process of planning, the leaders of both institutions have set goals but do not include all the existing stakeholders, have institutional development strategies, although they are incomplete, and have job descriptions and schedule of PKBM activities. In the organizing process, both leaders of PKBM institutions have been managing in accordance with their vision and mission, determining strategies and targets that include the outcome criteria, quality and time constraints even though the document on this matter is not fully owned, and holds an internal meeting of the agency to carry out the review this is not done routinely. In the process of controlling, the leaders of both institutions often control the activities of the agencies in the field, often check the conditions in the field and explore information about the course of an activity to know the weaknesses and mistakes in the field, directly reprimand and make corrections to the mistakes that occur and provide input and warning to tutors and residents learn. (3) The leaders of both institutions have ensured that all learning activities work well through observation and direct action to the field and by communicating with staff, study residents and tutors consistently from time to time, rarely assessing tutors or teachers, assessment is done, it is well documented, has supervision in the academic field but this is not done regularly or consistently, PKBM Hangtuah leadership has conducted supervision in the field of lifeskills consistently by joining the field during the event held, while the leadership PKBM Sari do not do it consistently.

Abstract

The student’s activity and the students achievments in Grade VII.7 of SMPN22 Pekanbaru are far from satisfaction. This Research was aimed to increase the activitiesand the students achieviement by using Cooperative Learning of STAD Type in learning IPS.The data of of the activities was analized by finding out the percentage of the students involvedin every meeting. The increase of the achieviement was from the number of students whoachieved throroughness score and the average score gained at the end of the cycle. However,this is because the cooperative learning model of STAD type is more focusing on the studentsas the subject of learning and giving the students more chance to construct there knowledgefinally, in general it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model of STAD typeis able significantly to increase the students activities and the learning achieviement on IPS bystudents of grade VII.7 of SMPN 22 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teachers state map, equity-based teacher teacher’s teaching load Junior High School in District Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. Informants to be interviewed in this study were school principals, teachers, school supervisors and Head of the Education and Culture junior Pekanbaru. Instruments used in the form of interview, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used to describe the data mapping and equal distribution of teachers by teachers’ teaching load Junior High School in District Tenayan Kingdom is a qualitative analysis. The results showed that the first, the implementation of the mapping program and the equal distribution of teachers has not gone well in school because teachers are still many shortcomings. Secondly, There are many teachers who have not been able to meet the mandatory teaching load at least 24 hours per week face to face. Third, the solution of barriers to the implementation of the program of mapping and generalization of junior high school teachers throughout the District Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru consists of several things of which to be transparent and accountable, carried out by the condition and where teachers live and give them the benefit of the mutation teacher to all the assembly of teachers in the environment of the District Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. Abstract

This research is motivated by disbelief the community on the report whichreceived by students, the peoples thought that the school only able to provide high value tostudents without followed by capability of being higher too.The result of this assessmentsystem the students do not know where their talents , teachers dishonest again in give anassessment, and parents do not know where the advantages and disadvantages of children inmastering lessons. This research conducted at vocational high school National Al-hudaPekanbaru, with the method the qualitative study, to technique collecting data is triangulationthat are: observation, Interviews and documentation. The result of rcsearch explain that thedetermination of criteria completeness minimal at vocational high school National Al-hudaPekanbaru less aspect complexity, capacity and intake owned vocational high schools NationalAl-huda Pekanbaru, so that the determination of criteria completeness minimal at vocationalhigh school national al-huda less quality. Recommendations of study are : 1 the educationoffice to conduct evaluation of criteria completeness minimal set by schools. 2 the teachersshould give the students value objective and honest accordance with students ability, that studentscan know where advantages and rest in mastering lessons.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain information on the implementation of the policy offree school for underprivileged students in terms of economics in the Champions Junior HighSchool Pekanbaru. Sub focus in this study were: (1) Understanding the implementation of freeschool policy in the Champions Junior High School Pekanbaru. (2) What were the Objectives,requirements and budget in the the implementation of free school policy are implemented. (3)The supporting factors of the implementation of free school policy in the Champions JuniorHigh School Pekanbaru. (4) The obstacles that arise in the implementation of free schoolpolicy. (5) How to overcoming the obstacles to the implementation of free policy. This studyused a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this research were through observation,interviews, documentation and triangulation. Data were analyzed by using analysis model Millesand Hubberman. Based on the results of this study concluded that: (1) The Implementation offree school policy in the Champions Junior High School is already match with the expectation(2) Input and output are in accordance with Implementation of free school policy in the ChampionsJunior High School is received underprivileged students in economics, the Champions JuniorHigh School students have get many achievements both in academic and non-academic, andthe Champions Junior High School graduates able to compete go to Senior high school, MA,and SMK both state and private. (3) Supporting factors are the Zakat house Foundations,Pekanbaru city government, the school, and the parents of student. (4) The obstacles that arisewas delay disbursement of BOS funds, to convince the students and parents about the importanceof education, there are still teachers who teach subjects other than their science subject, andstill lack of facilities and infrastructure to support teaching and learning process. (5) Problemssolving of the implementation of free school policy has been pursued its complete, although it isnot maximized overall.

Abstract

 Discipline is one of the things that must be upheld in school because discipline is the key to school success. The existence of high discipline can be one of the capital for schools to achieve the expected goals. In order to enforce this discipline, it requires discipline management based on theories reflected in the functions of management consisting of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising to determine and achieve the targets that have been determined through the utilization of human resources and other resources. This research is a type of qualitative research, research that tends to handle research problems that require exploration, where knowledge of the problem is still limited, about a detailed understanding of central phenomena. With data collection techniques done with Interviews, observation and documentation. The data processing procedure is done by triangulation technique, checking informant, and examination of data. The result of the research shows that 1) the planning on the discipline management work program has been done well but the implementation can’t run consistently, 2) the organization of discipline management has been well established, but policy making in the determination of sanctions can’t be taken by the highest policy holders in the organizational structure of management discipline, 3) the implementation management function is limited to the process and not in the field but in the final sanction can’t be implemented, 4) the supervision has been done well by the leader but in the evaluation process cannot be implemented because basically the school already know the cause of management evaluation can be done.

Abstract

This research generally aims to provide an overview of the implementation ofschool self-evaluation (EDS) at junior high schools in the District Bantan Bengkalis district.Based on the observation that researchers do, there are problems associated with theimplementation of the EDS program in some of the junior high school in sub Bantan: 1)Understanding teachers and parents will EDS program is still low due to lack of socialization; 2)Components of schools do not have the time to implement EDS EDS considered that the additionalburden of school; and 3) Charging EDS instruments are not in accordance with the existingconditions. This research uses evaluation methods Goal Attaiment developed by Tyler in 1950.The study was the evaluation study, the research describes the problems associated with theimplementation of school self-evaluation (EDS) in Junior High School District Bantan.Components that are evaluated include: Implementation of the EDS program, Constraints andchallenges in the implementation of EDS, and the impact of the implementation of the EDSprogram. Techniques and Procedures collection DataPada this research through the study ofdocuments, observation and interviews. Data and Data Sources, Data used in this study is aschematic, narrative, description and explanation of data from informants either orally or data inthe form of a written document. Factors driving the implementation of the EDS internally is (1)HR; (2) coordination between stakeholders; (3) communication and a sense of family amongthe school community, externally is the support of the Department of Education and Culture andthe motivation of LPMP. Internally inhibiting factor is (1) saturation with EDS instruments; (2)short time; (3) lack of understanding of teachers, externally are (1) changes in the system andEDS instruments and (2) the number of inquiries on the instrument. Impact of EDS amongothers (a) facilitate the school in making RKS / RKAS and (b), enables schools to identifydeficiencies, the excess will be the performance of the school, the strength of the school to bedeveloped as well as the challenges faced by the school. EDS benefits include (a) a school canhave a data base for the development and improvement of quality in the future, (b) the results ofEDS used the school to encourage schools to improve and enhance the quality and performanceof the school. Follow-up of the school is based on the results of EDS is the repair, improvementand development of appropriate school performance 8 SNP.

Abstract

This method aims for the function of laboratory management of Natural Sciences at State Junior High School 6 Pekanbaru City. The type of data of this research is using primary data. Research data were obtained from principals, laboratory heads, and science teachers. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The instrument of this researcher is the researcher himself by applying interview guides, observation checklists, and documentation. Data analysis technique is field analysis and result analysis with process (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) drawing conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the science of laboratory management in SMP Negeri 6 Pekanbaru City already meet the standard labpratorium IPA, commencement of laboratory facilities that are complete, laboratory conditions adequate although there are still some laboratory space that is not feasible to use, has an organizational structure despite the absence of laboratory labor.

Abstract

This study aims to gain a deep Understendingof the process of Implementationof national education ministerial decree number is of 2007 on education manajement standarImplemented in SMAN 1 Tualang kabupten Siak. This study used a qualitative approach withcase study method. In thisstudy purposively selected sample. Data collection is done byobservation,interview, and documentation. Data analisys is done trough a process of data reductiondata display and drawing conclusion/verification. Data validity checking the validity could betested through the form trianggulationand member checking. The results of this study wastoreveal three findings: 1) School work plan in achieping educational management standars 2)The Implementation of the work plan management scholl in a cheving education standars, 3)Monitoring and evaluation in achieving standars of management education, monitoring andevaluation in achiving standars of management education. The result showed that theimplementation Permendiknas No. 19, 2007 years. This due to the understanding of the manageras well as the seriosness of the parties involved in managing educational management standarin SMAN 1 Tualang Kabupaten Siak.

Abstract

Character education is aimed to shape people with strong integrity, good conduct,outstanding morale, being dynamic, competitive, science and technology skills oriented as wellas believing in the One Supreme God. The implementation of character education should besupported by all sides including SMA Islam Terpadu Bangkinang, Kampar District. The purposeof this study was to describe the implementation of character education management at SMAIslam Terpadu Bangkinang covering planning process, implementation and evaluation. The studyemployed qualitative method with triangulation. The validity of the data were checked trhoughreliability, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The data were analyzed using flowmodel of Miles and Huberman and the results of the study showed that the planning processcovered (a) planning conducive school condition, (b) designing explicit character educationcurriculum, (c) creating integrated character curriculum, (d) classroom management, and (e)outside-class environmental management. The implementation stage covered (a) theimplementation of character education in the teaching and learning process, (b) theimplementation of character education in extra-curricular activities, and (c) the implementationof character education in daily life. Finally, evaluation stage focused on (a) the collaborationwith the students’ parents, and (b) the strict control towards good conduct.
