Abstract

Form of Learning Activity (BKP) of certified independent study internship (MSIB) is an activity that is intended for students to get to know the current world of work. However, based on its implementation, the achievement of the objectives and suitability of BKP MSIB with the scientific field study programs becomes a real issue in the implementation of BKP MSIB. This paper aims to describe the achievement of the objectives of BKP MSIB for undergraduate students at the Social Science Education Study Program of UM, as well as the suitability of BKP MSIB followed by undergraduate students at the UM Social Science Education with the scientific field study program. The study uses a descriptive narrative study method to answer the formulation of the problem based on the students’ experience of BKP MSIB participants who came from S1 UM Social Science Education. The research results indicate the achievement of the objectives of BKP MSIB. Students get the right fulfillment to obtain experience in the implementation of BKP MSIB. The right fulfillment to obtain experience is evidenced by the experience of getting off the field for 1-4 months (for certified internships), as well as the real-world issues, which are raised to be reviewed in the classroom (for Certified Independent Studies). Based on its implementation on undergraduate students of UM Social Science Education, it turns out that BKP MSIB still has shortcomings. The shortcomings include the incompatibility between BKP MSIB taken by S1 students of UM Social Science Education with the scientific field study program. Furthermore, based on the research, it is still found students who have a sense of “compulsion” to undergo BKP MSIB MBKM.

Abstract

Students who have learning difficulty in mathematics learning subjects indicate unsatisfactory learning results and incomplete scores with KKM. The quantitative research method is a research method that is based on positive philosophy used to study the research instruments, and the data analysis is quantitative or statistical in order to test the hypotheses that have been set. The research method used is an experimental research method. The students' mathematics learning outcomes before being given treatment obtained an average value of 50.80. The result of the normality test was 0.128. Hence, it can be concluded that the pretest learning outcomes are normally distributed. The students’ mathematics learning outcomes after being given treatment obtained an average score of 72.69. The normality test result was 0.117. Hence, it can be concluded that the post-test learning outcomes are normally distributed. It can be proven that a correlation coefficient value of 0.846 is in the powerful interference category. The results of the T-test to find out whether the hypothesis is accepted or rejected are seen from the tcount 9,118 ≥ ttable 1,692, which means that there is an effect of Joyful Learning on students’ learning outcomes. Thus, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected.

Abstract

The research in this paper was conducted on Campus Teaching 5 (KM5) activities as a form of Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) in partner schools. It aims to provide opportunities for students to carry out activities outside the lecture class as a self-development experience. The research aims to determine the effectiveness of increasing literacy, numeracy, and students’ character as a result of the transformation conducted by students in campus teaching activities toward the quality improvement of learning services in partner schools. The expected transformation is an increase in literacy, numeracy, and students’ character competencies through a learning process that is innovative, creative, and fun. The research was conducted by using mixed methods between quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The research data were obtained from weekly reports of students’ activities at the assisted school as a partner school, namely Perti Islamic Private Elementary School in West Jakarta. Two types of data are weekly reports, which are qualitative and quantitative data based on the results of the Pretest and Posttest Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). Based on the results of qualitative data analysis of weekly reports, the transformation process has an impact on improvement changes in literacy, numeracy, and students’ character competencies. It is also shown from the results of the AKM, there is a positive difference in the mean score of pre-test and post-test. It means that there is a competence improvement in literacy, numeracy, and students’ character. Hence, it can be said that the Teaching Campus is effective in improving students' literacy, numeracy, and students’ character competencies.
