Jurnal PAJAR (Pendidikan dan Pengajaran) aims to develop and disseminate science and technology through the scientific article of research and study of concepts or theories as an effort to enrich the scientific knowledge in the field of education and teaching. <![CDATA[Biotechnology material is closely related to the use of biological sciences to support everyday life so the learning process should be implemented in a fun teaching and learning method to enhance students' understanding. The Teams Game Tournament learning model is an appropriate model to create a fun teaching and learning atmosphere for students because based on its implementation the learning is set in the form of a tournament among the students. In terms of its implementation, the Teams Game Tournament that is assisted by Kahoot will further enhance the learning attractiveness. The purpose of the study was to find out the profile of students' cognitive learning outcome completeness in biotechnology learning through the Kahoot-assisted Teams Game Tournament. The research type was a pre-experimental design with a one-shot case study research design. The research subjects involved 36 students of class XII IPA 3 of SMA Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang. The research results indicate that students complete biotechnology learning using the Kahoot-assisted Teams Game Tournament model. It is seen from the average score of 84.4, which is above the KKM score of 77. In addition, it is corroborated by data analysis, which indicates that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.002 <0.05 = α, and tcount > ttable.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper describes the effect of applying the numerical literacy learning model on students’ mathematics learning outcomes in the material of collecting and presenting data in class V at SD Negeri 156320 Simpang Tiga 2 in the academic year 2022/2023. The research uses a quantitative research method. The research population is 30 fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 156320 Simpang Tiga 2, which consist of 16 male and 14 female students. The sampling technique uses a purposive sample, which distributes in class V with the number of 30 students. The research results indicate that students’ learning outcomes using the numerical literacy model are considered in the good category with an average score of 77.96 and a correlation test result of 0.983, which means rcount (0.983) ≥ rtable (0.361), hence Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a very strong influence between the use of the numerical literacy learning model on students’ mathematics learning outcomes in the material of collecting and presenting data in class V at SD Negeri 156320 Simpang Tiga 2. It can be seen from the results of the T-test research where tcount 28.266 ≥ ttable 1.697 so that it can be stated that Ha is accepted. It shows that there is a significant positive effect from the use of the numerical literacy learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes in the material of collecting and presenting data in class V at SD Negeri 156320 Simpang Tiga 2 in the academic year 2022/2023.]]>

<![CDATA[Art education has a huge impact on the development of students’ creativity. In choir training, teachers must also have creativity in conveying learning material so that they can produce good-quality choral groups. The research purpose of this paper is to explain the function of art creativity, the implementation of music and choir learning in schools, and choir training strategies as a means of developing creativity. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive conceptual analysis method. The research uses a conceptual analysis method that examines various literature related to the research objectives. The data analysis techniques are carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and data analysis. The results of data analysis indicate that the art of music education and choir training can be a means of developing creativity for the art performers, either students or teachers. Choir training can encourage students to be creative in expressing the song that is sung. Therefore, it is essential for teachers who have knowledge and skills to seek learning strategies in choir arts to develop students' creativity.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper investigates the implementation of character education in learning quality through school culture in Pangkalan Kerinci. It is common that more attention should be paid to the moral character of our youth. Such pleas are prevalent in the mass media and in professional forums and are usually justified by data reflecting juvenile delinquency. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach by involving various stakeholders as participants, including teachers, students, and school administrators. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis by focusing on the role of school culture in building character education. The research results indicate that the school culture in Pangkalan Kerinci plays an essential role in building character education and learning quality. The findings reveal that schools in the region implemented values-based pedagogical strategies and extracurricular activities, which encouraged positive student behavior and academic achievement. In addition, the collaboration between school staff and parents is proven essential in reinforcing students' character development. The study highlights the importance of a supportive school culture, which supports and nurtures character education and improves learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses the effect of applying the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes on the theme of the area where I live in class IV of SD Assisi Medan in the academic year 2022/2023. The research uses quantitative methods. The research population involves 180 fourth-grade students at SD Assisi Medan. The sampling used simple random sampling and the sample used was 44 fourth-grade students. The research results indicate that students’ learning outcomes using the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model are in the very good category with an average score of 83.48. The correlation test result is 0.958, which means rcount (0.958) ≥ rtable (0.297), so that Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant effect between the use of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model on students’ learning outcomes on the theme of the area where I live in class IV of SD Assisi Medan. It can be seen from the results of the T-test research where tcount 21,720 ≥ ttable 2,015 so it can be stated that Ha is accepted. It indicates that there is a significant positive effect from the use of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model on students’ learning outcomes on the theme of the area where I live in class IV of SD Assisi Medan in the academic year 2022/2023.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper describes the improvement of students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the Snowball Throwing learning model. Snowball Throwing is a learning model that uses a sheet of paper and subsequently kneads it into a round shape resembling a ball, a question ball that is ready to be thrown to another student, and the students who have received the question ball must answer the question according to the allocated time. The research in this paper is Classroom Action Research, which is carried out in collaboration between the researchers and teachers. The research design is the Kemmis & Taggart model. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted at SDN 1 Beluk with the subject of 18 fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Beluk, which consists of 11 female and 7 male students. Data collection techniques of the research include observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The research was conducted in two cycles, namely Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. In Cycle I, the average student score was 65.34 increased to 78.60 in Cycle II. The completeness of students’ learning outcomes increased from Cycle 1 at 66.6% of the number of students who completed the test and in Cycle II at 83.4% of the number of students who completed the test.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper examines the Akidah Akhlak teacher's strategy, obstacles, and solutions in forming students' responsible attitudes. The research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results indicate that the Akidah Akhlak teacher's strategy in forming the students’ responsible attitude is providing reward and punishment, motivation, and a personal approach. Meanwhile, the Akidah Akhlak teacher's obstacles in forming students' responsible attitudes come from the student's personality, the parents who are less supportive, and the wrong association. The solutions carried out by the Akidah Akhlak teacher come from the cooperation between the teacher and the student’s parents and building intensive communication and come from the teacher who gives positive thoughts to students and puts a little positive support to students in giving assignments. This research can provide an overview and contribution to increasing the students’ responsible attitude that must always be sought by the teacher, and the importance of the parent’s role in constructing a responsible attitude of students.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses the improvement of Civic Education learning outcomes of the first-grade students by applying Two Stay Two Stray as a cooperative learning model at SDN 008 Bandur Picak in Kampar, which was conducted for 1 month. The research subjects were 22 first-grade students. The type of research is classroom action research. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model type can improve the first-grade students’ learning outcomes in the Civic Education learning subject at SDN 008 Bandur Picak in Kampar. It can be seen from changes in students’ learning outcomes in cycle 1 and cycle 2. In cycle 1, the average score of students’ learning outcomes was 70.9 incomplete category and increased in cycle 2 to 82.5 in the complete category. Based on the performance indicators, the research is considered to be successful if learning completeness reaches 75% of all students. It is because applying the Two Stay Two Stray provides opportunities for students to exchange experiences and knowledge. Hence, students understanding of the subject matter increases and can improve their learning outcomes in turn which the researchers so far have never applied the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper presents the effect of using the Edutainment learning method on students’ learning outcomes on theme 8 of our friend environment in class V at SD Negeri 068006 Simalingkar in the academic year 2022/2023. The research uses quantitative methods. The research population was 245 students from all grades I-VI at SD Negeri 068006 Simalingkar. Sampling uses a purposive sample and the sample used involved 30 fifth-grade students. The research results indicate that students’ learning outcomes using the Edutainment learning method are included in the very good category with an average score of 81.86 with a correlation test result of 0.634, which means rcount (0.634) ≥ rtable (0.361), thus Ha is accepted. Therefore, there is a considerable effect between the use of the Edutainment learning method and students’ learning outcomes in class V at SD Negeri 068006 Simalingkar. It can be seen from the research results of the T-test, where rcount 4.335 ≥ rtable 2.048, Ha is also accepted. It implies that there is a significant positive effect from the use of the Edutainment learning method on students’ learning outcomes in theme 8 of our friend environment in class V at SD Negeri 068006 Simalingkar in the academic year 2022/2023.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses the activities that are related to parenting, which is interrelated with a culture in order to be described through the point of view based on the indigenous people. The research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Data were collected through an interview process and subsequently were analyzed by using the Nvivo 12.2 Software coding technique. The Malay ethnoparenting based on Tunjuk Ajar Melayu through the "Twenty-Five Principles" of parents in Bukit Payung village indicates a significant influence on children in socializing with people around them and the environment where they live. Parenting that was applied by people of different ethnicities has differences between families. Nevertheless, similarities that were found in the research were the values contained within and became the main values in the parenting process. The research result reveals that Riau Malay ethnoparenting, which was applied in the transmigration area of Bukit Payung village, specifically prioritized religious values as one of the main foundations, tolerance for differences, humility towards others, integrity and courage, and providing space for the social environment in forming a cultural identity for children.]]>
