Abstract

Based on the problems faced by teachers in the preparation of the 2013 curriculum-based lesson plans, the purpose of this study is to improve the competence of teachers in preparing 2013 curriculum-based lesson plans by implementing supermic pinter. The design of this study used school action research conducted on 6 chemistry teachers in the target schools in Dumai. The results showed that the implementation of supermic pinter can improve teacher competence in preparing 2013 curriculum-based lesson plans, where in the first cycle the percentage of teacher competence was 60% with sufficient categories and increased to 84% with a very good category in cycle II. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of smart supermic can improve the competence of teachers in preparing plans for the implementation of 2013 curriculum-based learning in the Dumai City-assisted Middle School.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a thematic learning media in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 by using educational games for elementary students that are valid, practical and effective. Thematic learning media using educational games is closely related to innovation and the use of technology following the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 era to increase student’s attractiveness in learning. Thematic media learning was the result of development by using adobe flash CS6 program. The contained of media was thematic learning that integrates of several subjects. The development model used was 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate). The research data was obtained from the validity test (media validation sheet), practicality (student and teacher response questionnaire), and effectiveness (student learning activities and results). Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the thematic learning media was valid (media content according to curriculum, attractive design and layout, ease of operation, easy to understand students' language, and clear presentation according to student characteristics), practical (clear contents and objectives, easy to read, attractive appearance, and student interest increases), and effective (can increase student activity and learning outcomes). Learning media using educational games can create a fun learning process

Based on the observation and experience during the researcher at SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru, there weresymptoms especially in Civics lesson as follows: 1) out of 32 students, only a small number were able to scoreabove the minimum criteria, 2) lack of students' curiosity of the lessons conveyed by teachers in the classroom, this is known from at least students who want to ask or propose his opinion. This classroom action research wasconducted in third class at SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru. The time of this study is planned for 1 month ie inFebruary 2016. The form of this research is collaborative class action research. Collaborative research in thisresearch involves one person as an observer. In this research observer is a teacher of class III SD Negeri 157Pekanbaru. Based on the results of analysis and discussion as presented in chapter IV can be concluded thatwith the use of demonstration methods can improve learning outcomes on subjects of Civics in students of classIII SD Negeri 157 Pekanbaru. This success is due to during the demonstration the teacher should give thestudents a chance to observe well and ask about the difficulties faced by the students. In the end the student seeksa movement or perhaps an answer with his own effort based on the correct facts, as well as lessen errors whencompared with just reading or explaining, because students get a clear picture of the results of his observations.

Abstract

Reading is one of the important aspects of the communication process. Reading can make someone better understand the contents of the reading. In learning to make it easier for students to understand the contents of the reading it will be easier if it begins with the ability to determine the main ideas of the paragraph. Based on this, the researchers conducted a study by applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model to the ability to determine the main idea of paragraphs in fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 003 Pulau Kopung. This study aims to determine the effect of the CIRC learning model on the ability to determine the main ideas of paragraphs of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 003 Pulau Kopung. This research method is a quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This study was conducted in two classes, namely the VA class as the control class and VB class as the experimental class with 22 students in each class. The results of the study showed that the CIRC learning model influenced the ability determine the main idea of the paragraph with the results of calculations sourced from the index gain, the experimental class using the CIRC learning model gets an increase in gain of 0.59 with the middle class and the control class with the ordinary learning model gets an increase of 0.31 with the middle class.

Abstract

Mathematics teaches students logical thinking, analysis, synthesis, critical, and creative. As high as students are able to work together in solving the problems faced. To achieve all of that we need an effective learning process, one of which is by applying realistic mathematical learning. The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of mathematics in grade I students of SD Negeri 019 Bumi Ayu. The purpose of this study is to improve student mathematics learning outcomes. The form of research used is classroom action research. The study was conducted in 2 cycles, each through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed the basic score of students completeness was 46.1%, the percentage of completeness in cycle I was 73%, and the percentage of completeness in cycle II was 92.3%. On the basic score the number of students who completed was 12 people, while the number of students who did not complete was 14 people. In the first cycle the number of students who completed was 19 people, while the number of students who did not complete was 7 people. In cycle II the number of students who completed was 24 while the number of students who did not complete was 2 people. Based on the data obtained above, it can be concluded that by applying realistic mathematics learning (PMR) can improve the learning outcomes of grade I students of SD Negeri 019 Bumi Ayu

Abstract

Based on the observation, the problem found in class IV SDK Nangakeo was that the low achievement on students learning outcomes due to the learning method used are more passive which cause the learning atmosphere becomes not conducive. In order to solve this problem, the teacher applies the make a match learning model. The aim is to find out the improvement of students learning outcomes in the science subject with the topic of plant leaf structure and its function in the Nangakeo SDK, Ende Regency. The implementation process using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model consists of four stages namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collected through observation, interviews and tests. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. After analyzing, the results of the study showed that cycle I had an average of 58.10 with a percentage of completeness of 31.57% and the results of cycle II had increased to 84.94 with 100% completeness. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the make a match learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low social science learning outcomes of students in grade IV SD Negeri 003Beringin Teluk. The purpose of this study is to improve students' social science learning outcomes. The design ofthis study uses classroom action research consisting of two cycles. From the data analysis in the first cycleobtained the percentage of the average value of teacher activity in the first cycle was 75% with good categories, after the second cycle the teacher activity increased to 91% with a very good category. Judging from theactivities of students in the first cycle, a percentage value of 70.8% was obtained in the good category, after thesecond cycle, the percentage value increased to 87.5% in the very good category. For the learning outcomes ofstudents, seen from the basic scores of students who complete as many as 13 or 41.93% who achieve theminimum completeness criteria. After being implemented in the first cycle, the learning outcomes of studentsincreased to 21 students or 67.74% which reached the minimum completeness criteria and in the second cyclethe learning outcomes of students returned to 27 students or 87% who achieved the minimum completenesscriteria set by the school that is equal to 70. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Two Stay TwoStray (TSTS) cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of social science students of thefourth grade of SD Negeri 003 Beringin Teluk.
