Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the learning environment and family harmony on practising Pancasila values at UPT SPF Inpres Bangkala II Manggala Makassar. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The research population consisted of all 75 students. The sampling used in this study was a purposive sample. A sample of 70 students. Data collection techniques in this study using the questionnaire method. The questionnaire method was used to collect data regarding the learning environment, family harmony, and the practice of Pancasila values. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression. The results of his research are that the learning environment has a positive and significant effect on the practice of Pancasila values at UPT SPF Inpres Bangkala II Manggala Makassar. Thus, the higher the learning environment, the higher the course of Pancasila values. The analysis results regarding the learning environment and harmony in the family with the practice of Pancasila values are significant to implement so that reasonable goals can be realized for the next generation of the nation and this country, having a harmonious family and instilling Pancasila values can undoubtedly improve the character that we are very proud of.

Abstract

Realising the development of educational institutions that will produce competitive graduates, have good morals and impact increasing the quality of Islamic education that can compete and be competitive with other educational institutions by trying to focus on handling institutional management so that it is better by focusing on development in the academic sector. This study aims to identify and analyse institutional development strategies in the academic sector at MA Mambaul Ulum Jember. Qualitative research by looking at the problems and research objectives to be achieved. This research uses a type of phenomenological research. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis by condensing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of his research: Institutional development in the academic field is carried out by changing views on education, complying with Ministry of National Education policies, creating a good institutional culture, and changing the learning process. The institutional development strategy in the Academic Sector at MA Mambaul Ulum Jember is implemented by adjusting: The strategy for developing Islamic education institutions at MA Mambaul Ulum Jember is implemented by: 1) Forming students' competitive mindset through rewards, 2) Developing teacher creativity in the teaching and learning process, 3) Innovation in learning services, 4) curriculum innovation. In implementing education, the quality of academic services must be carried out in a directed, disciplined manner and guarantees the realisation of good quality education.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to teach the values of religious moderation at the senior secondary education level as a response to the phenomenon of spiritual understanding of some groups in Indonesian society, which tend to be extreme. Considering that at the senior secondary education level, entering an age vulnerable to influences both from within and outside education. Therefore, it is essential to internalize the purpose of this research, especially in the Madrasah Aliyah (MA) environment. Otherwise, a qualitative approach with a field study research design will gradually lead to national instability. Data were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation of actual conditions and facts that occurred in the field, supported by books, the latest journals and other sources in the form of related information. Data analysis was performed by condensation, presentation and verification. The implementation of religious moderation is pursued in 4 strategies, namely, First, insert moderation content in each lesson. It is second, optimizing the learning approach. Third, organizing specific programs, education, training and debriefing. Fourth, the teacher makes observations simultaneously. The implementation of religious moderation within Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Al-Huda has been running, realized in textbooks of integral and interconnected subjects, starting from regulation to the level of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the integration of da'wah methods for preachers and teachers in the learning process. Dakwah is an invitation to humans to the path of Allah SWT to accept and make Islam the factual basis of life guidelines. Every Muslim is a da'i (preacher). This study uses an interpretive paradigm through a qualitative approach and case studies. Research locations in tertiary institutions where apart from the lecturers' duties, are academics and community servants (preachers). Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis tool used is the qualitative analysis model of Miles and Huberman data reduction, data display and verification. Checking data validity using triangulation; credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of the study revealed that first, the concept of integrating one's abilities which are emulated in a community group, in this case teaching lecturers and preachers, is very, very important to note and can be a reference for other professions that must be more concerned with the primary task as khalifah fil ardh, namely inviting to the truth or proselytizing; second, the integration of da'wah methods for the teaching profession and da'i can be implemented using the wisdom, mauidzah (commemoration) and mujilah (exchange of opinion) plans, and can be carried out to the formulation of the foundations of aqeedah, intellectuality, da'wah strategy, organizational, technocratic and moral strength.

Abstract

Learning through a teacher or talaqqi is one of the learning methods practised in Islamic learning and education since the time of the Prophet Muhammad. This method is applied today, especially in madrasas and Islamic boarding schools. Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the latest Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, online learning is the best alternative for teachers and students. This is the choice of learning method, especially in Islamic Studies education. This article aims to examine the elements of teacher authority in Islamic online learning. This research method is a mixed-method design using qualitative and quantitative data. Researchers collected data by interviewing four informants from their fields of expertise and questioning 254 respondents using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed after being collected using thematic analysis and Winsteps analysis. The results showed that teacher authority has five elements: an educational background in subjects, namely teacher qualifications, teacher accreditation, information skills, language mastery and technology mastery. This element is essential for verifying the qualifications of teachers involved in online learning, especially for Islamic education.

Abstract

The implementation of entrepreneurship education emphasizes the cognitive aspect, so it has not created the entrepreneurial character yet. Besides, the unavailability of teaching materials for students related to entrepreneurship education in achieving learning outcomes. This study aims to obtain an overview of the needs assessment for preparing character-based entrepreneurship teaching materials at the University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi. The method used was qualitative research based on the post-positivism philosophy. Data collection techniques were observations, interviews and documentation studies by testing the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of this study can be seen from the aspects of material substance (Excellent character, The character of the Prophet Muhammad in business, and Character of a Successful Entrepreneur From Zero), content structure aspects (Introduction, Presentation, and Closing), presentation and linguistic factors (Attractive presentation, Accuracy, Digestibility, Illustrations, and Completeness), assignment aspects (Observation, Making a business plan, and Entrepreneurial practice) and character-based question types (Assignments, Midterm exams, and Semester exams). This study indicates the need for character-based entrepreneurship teaching materials with the substance of character-based teaching materials using structures, criteria, question forms and assignments in university entrepreneurship teaching materials.

Abstract

Plurality is an undeniable fact in Indonesia. This plurality can have good and bad impacts, such as social disunity or social capital for nation-building. The natural source of this dispute cannot be separated from the domination of values and partial truth claims by each group, although various practical interests serve as catalysts. The purpose of this study was to analyze and provide an interpretation of the development of students' religious activities through the transformation of school culture in multicultural educational institutions at Tengger Children's Nature School, Pasuruan. The research method used is qualitative with the type of case study research. Data collection by in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis by presenting data, condensing data, and drawing conclusions. As for checking the validity of the data, researchers do this using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. This research resulted in the finding that the development of a culture of mutual collaboration within the Hindu Muslim community at Tengger Children's Nature School was carried out through activities that prioritized politeness in interactions, besides that all school members were involved in cohesive activities through the school community association, also through organizational activities in traditional event committees. This is a superior value possessed by multicultural educational institutions in the cultural transformation to develop the quality of education, especially in the religious field, where mutual respect can be achieved.

Abstract

This study focuses on education law and teacher ethics management in Delta Public Secondary Schools in Nigeria. In this study, a descriptive technique was used. The study group consisted of 473 principals and 14,482 teachers from 473 public high schools in Delta. A sample of 825 respondents (75 principals and 750 teachers) was drawn using a simple random sampling method. This study was based on two research questions and two hypotheses. A 15-item questionnaire was used as a means of data collection. For the data collected for the analysis, the mean and standard deviation of the research questions were analyzed at the average acceptance level of 2.50, the null hypotheses were verified through the Z-test, and the significance level was set at 0.05. This study's findings show that school boards and principals, especially after elementary school, manage teachers` integrity issues under the Delta Public High School Education Act and Code of Ethics. Among other things, teachers should be encouraged to purchase a copy of the Educational Services Manual to know their rights, their responsibilities to staff, and the fundamental rights of their students.

Abstract

This study examines the mediating role of organizational commitment on the effect of participatory leadership and competency on teacher performance. This research consists of two independent variables, participatory leadership and competence, one mediating variable, organizational commitment, and one dependent variable, teacher performance. The research method used is quantitative. Explanative research approach with a survey approach. The test was carried out at the Tulungagung State Aliyah Madrasah with a total sample of 100. Data analysis in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis using Smart PLS. The results of the survey show that participatory leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance. Thus the higher the participatory leadership, the higher the teacher's performance. Teacher competence has a significant impact on teacher performance. Thus, the higher the teacher's competence, the higher the teacher's performance; this proves that teacher competence substantially affects organizational commitment. Likewise, the higher the teacher's competence, the higher the organizational commitment, as evidenced by the significant effect organizational commitment has on teacher performance. Meanwhile, as a mediating variable, the higher the organizational commitment, the higher the teacher's performance. These results can be a reference for anyone involved in the world of work, especially teachers, to strengthen commitment so that version can run well continuously.
