Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the example non example models of learning achievement in Social science Students of State Elementary School Grade 1 Maduretno Kaliangkrik Magelang. The approach used in this study the pre-experimental research, design The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, by 9 meetings, are given treatment through learning in the classroom. The subjects of this study were 15 students who have learning achievement of Social Sciences is low. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique. There are two variables used in the research are: the dependent variable in the form of learning achievement of Social Sciences, as well as the independent variable in the form of a model example of non example. The data collection technique used is the learning achievement test Social Sciences.The results of a study reported an average score early measurement of learning achievement of Social Sciences students is 56.80, while the average score of the final measurement of learning achievement of Social Sciences students are reaching 77,87.Hypothesis testing using analytical techniques Wilcoxon signed rank test with SPSS for windows version 22.00. Based on the analysis of achievement learn there is a difference of Social Sciences students between the initial measurement and the final measurement with the value of Z at -3415 with sig 0,000 (sig <0.05), which means that there is a model example of non example influence the learning achievement of Social Sciences.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the alphabet media " SENYAWA " to the improvement of writing skills continued straight grade II SD N Karangmulyo , Kab . Purworejo. This study approach used true experimental research. Pretest posttest control group used as research design. Treatment arrange on  8 meetings , each meeting consist of the alphabet using the media " SENYAWA ". The subjects of this study were 30 students who were divided into 2 groups: the experimental group and the control group. The data collection technique used writing skills observation. Data were analyzed using T test. The study  results showed that the media alphabet " SENYAWA" had  positive effect on students' writing skills upright continued . Based on the test results two groups conducted by the authors, obtained t < t table is -5.435 < 2.0484 and the average value of the experimental group in the amount of 8.46 with a percentage of 39.2 % . These results indicate that the writing skills upright concatenated experimental group is higher than the control group.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect on the ability to know the Big Book of emotional expression in children aged 2-3 years in PAUD Terpadu Fi Ahsani Taqwim Temanggung. Subjects in this study were selected using purposive sampling method, Research carried out by the design of experiment one group pretest posttest. The experimental group consisted of 30 research subjects, who received stimulation treatment using the Big Book. Methods of data collection is done through observation of the subject's ability to recognize emotional expressions angry, happy, sad, surprised. Conclusions in this research that analyzed data using a non-parametric test by using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with SPSS For Windows Version 16.0. Conclusion of the study is the positive influence on the ability to know the Big Book of emotional expression in PAUD Terpadu Fi Ahsani Taqwim Temanggung. The new findings show that the Big Book can improve the ability to know the expression of emotions.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of group counseling with reinforcement techniques to increased concentrations of student learning. The study was conducted on students of class VIII B of SMP Negeri 10 Magelang City. Subjects selected by purposive sampling. This study uses a study design one group pre test-post test design. Samples taken as many as 10 students with the treatment given in the form of group counseling through reinforcement techniques. Methods of data collection is done by using a questionnaire study and documentation. The data was analyzed using non-parametric statistical method of SPSS version 16.0 for Windows using the Wilcoxon test match pairs test. The results showed that group counseling with reinforcement techniques affect positively towards increased concentration of student learning. This is evidenced by the increase in average by 13% after a given group counseling with reinforcement techniques. In addition, increase the concentration of student learning is characterized by the different aspects and indicators of learning concentration. One of them is a student who initially lacked concentration in following the lessons, now being able concentration in the course.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the correlation between apperception with learning motivation. 46 fifth graders were considered as the population. This study employed total population sampling method which involved examining the entire population of interest. The data were collected through questionnaire, interview, and observation. The variables were the apperception performed by the teachers (X) and the student?s learning motivation (Y). Product-Moment Correlation was used to analyze the data and performed using SPSS Version 16.0. The result revealed that there was correlation between apperception and student?s learning motivation with the Pearson?s r value of 0.685 and strong positive correlation between the two variables with the sig. value of 0.00<0.005. The apperception performed by the teacher contributed 47% of student?s learning motivation while 53% were influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Tahapan tumbuhkembang anak terdiri dari masa anak, remaja dan dewasa. Banyak ahli berpendapat bahwa pada masa remaja ini anak akan mengalami berbagai permasalahan.  Hal tersebut di sebabkan pada masa ini merupakan tahapan kehidupan yang bersifat peralihan dan tidak tetap. Masa remaja ini sering di warnai dengan berbagai perilaku dan pergaulan yang negatif seperti narkoba, kriminalitas maupun kejahatan seks. Namun pada masa remaja ini juga sangat baik untuk mengembangkan potensi positif yang mereka miliki seperti kemampuan bakat, minat. Dibutuhkan bentuk interaksi dan komunikasi dua arah antara orangtua dan remaja, dengan mengetahui karakteristik remaja serta tugas perkembangannya. Konsep Islam telah mengatur bagaimana mendidik remaja dan mengantisipasi masa atau periode remaja ini agar terhindar dari perilaku menyimpang, sehingga remaja akan tumbuh sesuai tugas-tugasnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the characteristics, (2) the validity of (3) practicality, (4) the effectiveness iqra SEMAR media. This research is a Research and Development, the research design developed by Borg and Gall ie step preliminary study, development, and testing results. Assessed the validity of the instrument and its learning mediasupporting the learning medias such as: lesson plans, Teaching Material, LKS, THB, and Iqra Books Java. Practicality assessed from teacher observation sheet to manage learning, student responses and teacher responses. Assessed the effectiveness of the activities of students, THB and reading skills. Analysis using descriptive, descriptive percentages and THB using n-gain techniques were then tested one sample test and the test sample pair. Iqra SEMAR media on reading skills in elementary students letters Java class IV characteristics  from the syntagmatic, social systems, reaction principle, the principle and the impact of instructional support or accompaniment. Research results that cooperative learning mediato learning reading skills Herroiq Java letter declared  valid. expert validation score of 89.9 for the learning media (very valid); learning device at 66 (very valid); RPP of 221 (very valid); teaching materials for 143.6 (valid); LKS equal to 151 (very valid); THB at 169.8 (very valid); book iqra at 156.6 (very valid). Iqra SEMAR media to learning the skills to read  Java skill. Score observations ability of teachers to manage learning has a score of 3.43 (very good); responses of  the students had an average score of 3.23 (very good); responses teacher of the learning activities obtained an average score was 3.41 or teacher response to the criteria (excellent). Results of analysis of student activity 81.25; median student learning outcomes by 87, with a value of t is greater than t table (9.493> 2.04523), reflecting the significant differences of learning to iqra SEMAR media.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the culture of student?s discipline and ethics at the Muhammadiyah 1 Alternatif elementary school in Magelang. Research design use qualitative descriptive research to interpret an existing data and describing by sentence that finally we can conclude. The analysis of the data derived from observation, interviews, documentation, then the data is grouped later reunited subsequent theories have to be justified by the research and finally drawn a condusion that can understood. The object of this study include the culture of discipline and ethics of student learning. Culture of discipline and learning  ethics were collected by triangulation method. The study subjects consisted of principals, teachers, and students at Muhammadiyah 1 Alternatif Elementary School Magelang City. The student?s discipline and learning ethic can be observe from 14 indicator and 33 item were measure using interviews and observation instrument.  Data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative analysis and thematic analysis. The result show that culture has an influence student discipline in supporting student learning ethics.  A good student discipline will be a good student learning ethics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine whether there is an increase in gross motor skills by playing on the target to throw the ball in children. This research is a classroom action research conducted during two cycles, wherein each cycle consists of four steps: planning, execution, observation and evaluation. 16 children as research subjects in this study were students in group B at ¬kanak Pertiwi Nursery Trenten Magelang. Variables used include input variables (ability motororik initial coarse), the process variables (target ball throwing game) and output variables (ability motororik rough end). Data collection methods used in this research is the method of observation. The research instrument used was the observation sheet. The validity of the instrument using a test technique expert or professional judgment in early childhood expert Lecturer's and chairman of the Association of Teachers of kindergarten District of Candimulyo. Data analysis techniques used in this action research is descriptive data analysis techniques and percentages. The research proves that the game throwing the ball the goal could improve gross motor skills in children. Results of preliminary observations note that the average achievement of new subjects Rough Motoric capabilities reached 64.4%, still far from the target to be achieved is 75%. After learning activities using the target to throw the ball in cycle 2, the average achievement Rough Motoric capabilities subjects increased to 94.4%. All indicators of the ability of Motor Coarse been achieved well. Thus the hypothesis that the game throwing the ball the goal could improve gross motor skills in children are accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of mnemonic techniques to improve learning outcomes social science in fifth grade of Elementary School. Design of this research is collaborative classroom actions research that researcher make collaboration with the teachers. This research is conducted to fifth grade students of SD Negeri Adikarto 2 Muntilan by 20 students. Technique of data retrieval is using the evaluation sheet instruments in the form of a written test. The variable in this study is a mnemonic technique as independent variables and the learning outcomes as the dependent variable. The results of student learning indicators showed that the  increasing  have to reach more than 75% to. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle included  two meetings.The results of the research show that the mnemonic technique can improve the student learning outcomes. The average value of the students learning in social science lesson before get the action (in prior action) is 60.25 whereas the result after the first action (first cycle) the results obtained 70.75 and in the second cycle the result is 79.75. The difference in the average value of the first cycle and the second cycle is 8.5. The percentage of completeness in the first cycle is 70% while the percentage of completeness in the second cycle up to 90%. It shows that there is the increased from phase I to phase cycle II. So, It can be concluded that the use of mnemonic techniques can improve the student learning outcomes in social studies learning.
