Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan power tungkai dan fleksibilitas terhadap hasil luncuran pembalikan renang gaya dada di Jaka Utama Swimming Club Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet Jaka Utama Swimming Club Lampung, dengan sampel sebanyak 15 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes vertical jump untuk mengukur power tungkai, sit and reach test untuk mengukur fleksibilitas, serta tes hasil luncuran pembalikan renang gaya dada yang diukur menggunakan aplikasi Kinovea. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara power tungkai terhadap hasil luncuran dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,606, serta hubungan antara fleksibilitas terhadap hasil luncuran sebesar 0,619. Secara simultan, power tungkai dan fleksibilitas memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap hasil luncuran dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,681. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa power tungkai dan fleksibilitas memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap hasil luncuran pembalikan renang gaya dada. Semakin baik power tungkai dan fleksibilitas, maka semakin optimal hasil luncuran yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the syllable method in teaching Indonesian language beginning reading for second-grade students at the UPT SDN 20 Turatea, Jeneponto Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, student work, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The subjects in this study were second-grade teachers and 20 second-grade students at the UPT SDN 20 Turatea, Jeneponto Regency. The results show that the application of the syllable method in teaching reading has been implemented well and in accordance with the steps of the syllable method, which introduces letters, then arranges them into syllables, then continues into words, and finally simple sentences. The study shows that student abilities vary; of the 20 students, 40% are able to read fluently, 40% are able to read although still stuttered, and 20% are still at the spelling stage. This shows that 80% of students have acquired reading skills and have experienced development in their initial reading skills through the application of the syllable method, although with varying levels of fluency. Based on the results of the study above, it can be concluded that the application of the syllable method in the initial reading learning of Grade II students at UPT SDN 20 Turatea, Jeneponto Regency has been proven to have been implemented well and can develop students' reading skills gradually.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan peran pojok baca dalam menumbuhkan literasi membaca siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri Banyuyoso, 2) Mendeskripsikan peran pojok baca dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri Banyuyoso, 3) Mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat pemanfaatan pojok baca di SD Negeri Banyuyoso. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas 2 dan 10 siswa kelas 2. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi metode. Analisis data melalui tahap pengumpulan data, resuksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pojok baca berperan dalam menumbuhkan literasi membaca siswa, dengan hasil menunjukkan 2 siswa dari 10 siswa masuk kategori mulai berkembang, 7 siswa masuk kategori berkembang sesuai harapan, dan 1 siswa masuk kategori sangat berkembang. 2) Pojok baca berperan dalam meningkatkan minat membaca siswa, dengan hasil menunjukkan 2 siswa dari 10 siswa masuk kategori mulai berkembang, 7 siswa masuk kategori berkembang sesuai harapan, dan 1 siswa masuk kategori sangat berkembang. 3) Faktor pendukung pemanfaatan pojok baca meliputi dukungan guru, antusiasme siswa, dan ketersediaan bahan bacaan buku pelajaran dan cerita bergambar. Faktor penghambat meliputi kurangnya kesadaran siswa dalam menjaga buku, penataan pojok baca belum maksimal, serta kondisi kelas yang kurang kondusif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pojok baca dapat menjadi sarana yang efektif dalam menumbuhkan literasi dan minat membaca siswa sejak dini.

Abstract

The research carried out by the researcher aims to describe and understand the process of developing ebook teaching media as learning reading media, especially in English language learning in class VIII semester 2 and also to determine the results of ebook media development in class VIII PGRI Bakung Junior High School, in accordance with the source of the problem that has been found, the limitations of learning media that result in students being less enthusiastic in participating in learning. This research is a qualitative study, the data collection technique used in this study is a saturated sampling technique with a sample of 12 students consisting of 5 boys and 7 girls, this study uses the ADDIE development model, this model was chosen because it is in accordance with the media development carried out by researchers. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires from media experts, material experts, and student response questionnaires. Based on the responses, the development of ebook media is quite effective, calculated from the validation of media experts showing a score of 85.0% from material experts and 97.5% from content experts. Meanwhile, the student response score was 89.5%. This shows that ebook learning media is suitable for use in learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sustainability of the cadetship program as a pillar of character education at SMK Negeri 1 Kongbeng through a SWOT approach. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with research subjects consisting of the principal, vice principal for student affairs, cadetship supervisors, teachers, and students. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, then analyzed by identifying internal and external factors affecting the sustainability of the cadetship program. The findings showed that, based on the IFAS Matrix, the cadetship program obtained a score of 3.42, indicating that its internal condition was in a strong category. The main strengths of the program lie in its integration with school culture, structured activities, support for the development of discipline, responsibility, and leadership, as well as spiritual habituation. Based on the EFAS Matrix, the program obtained a score of 3.60, indicating that external opportunities were more dominant than threats. Supportive character education policies, community expectations, cooperation with parents, and labor market demands were identified as the main opportunities for the program’s sustainability. The program’s position in Quadrant I, with coordinates of 0.66 and 0.78, indicates that the appropriate strategy is the SO strategy, namely utilizing strengths to seize opportunities. Thus, the cadetship program has good prospects to be maintained and developed sustainably as a pillar of character education at SMK Negeri 1 Kongbeng.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of adversity quotient on work readiness among recent graduates of Padang State University. The background of this study is the high unemployment rate among college graduates, which is caused not only by limited job opportunities but also by low levels of psychological readiness and individual skills. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional design, with a sample of 391 fresh graduates selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale, then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that the majority of respondents had an adversity quotient (82.4%) and work readiness (88.2%) in the high category, and that the adversity quotient had a positive and significant effect on work readiness, meaning that individuals with good resilience and the ability to cope with difficulties tend to have higher work readiness.

Abstract

This research examines the use and maintenance of educational facilities and infrastructure at SDN 2 SUKAGALIH. The focus of the research is how to use and maintain educational facilities. The aim of this research is to determine the use and maintenance of educational facilities. This research approach is qualitative with a descriptive type of approach. The data sources in this research are school principals, teachers and class teachers. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research and discussion can be concluded that: the educational facilities at SDN 2 SUKAGALIH have been utilized optimally, because; the teacher uses the class in accordance with the objectives achieved, the teacher teaches subject matter according to the media used, the teacher teaches students according to the material presented by utilizing the supporting facilities available at the school, and in the use of educational facilities must be considered in accordance with the character.different students. Meanwhile, maintenance of educational facilities at SDN 2 SUKAGALIH has been carried out optimally, where maintenance is seen in terms of nature in the form of checking, prevention, and minor and major repairs, and maintenance in terms of time, namely daily maintenance and periodic maintenance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Arabic language environment (bi’ah lughawiyyah) in building the self-confidence of female students at Daarul Ukhuwwah Islamic Boarding School, Malang. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, as it seeks to provide an in-depth description of how the Arabic language environment is implemented in a modern Islamic boarding school. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of bi’ah lughawiyyah is carried out systematically through mandatory language policies, daily communication habituation, and structured programs such as muhadatsah, muhadharah, and other language activities integrated into the daily life of the boarding school. This language environment functions not only as a means of improving linguistic competence but also as a medium for developing affective aspects, particularly students’ self-confidence. This is evidenced by increased speaking courage, the ability to express ideas, and a reduction in language anxiety. However, the effectiveness of the language environment is influenced by internal factors such as students’ linguistic backgrounds and psychological conditions, as well as external factors such as institutional support and peer social dynamics. Therefore, the success of bi’ah lughawiyyah is determined not only by the intensity of language use but also by the quality of a supportive and adaptive environment in managing students’ psychological aspects. Abstract

Corrosion is a major problem in utility piping systems in the chemical industry, causing material damage, reduced operational efficiency, and safety risks. This study aims to review various commonly used corrosion prevention methods, including material selection, coating, cathodic protection, and control of operating conditions. The method used is a literature review of various scientific sources and industry standards. The results indicate that no single method is completely effective for all conditions, so a combination of methods tailored to the operating environment is necessary. An integrated approach has been proven to increase the service life of piping systems and reduce maintenance costs.

Abstract

Effective management of students in extracurricular programs is key to successfully enhancing students’ personal competencies to the fullest extent. Extracurricular programs become a forum to support the development of students' skills, both academic and non-academic, including social, emotional, and character skills. This research aims to analyze more deeply about extracurricular programs in order to develop student competencies. This study employed a qualitative method, and the data were obtained from interviews with the principal, homeroom teachers, and subject teachers at SDN 3 Sukagalih. The results showed that: 1). The implementation of extracurricular programs has a positive impact on improving student competence, both from academic and non-academic aspects, and 2). Factors supporting the success of the program include school commitment, active involvement of students, and support from parents. However, there are some obstacles such as time constraints and lack of resources or facilities. Thus, it can be concluded that extracurricular activities make a significant contribution to the overall development of elementary school students’ competencies. Therefore, schools are expected to manage and develop extracurricular programs effectively to support the achievement of educational goals.
