Abstract

Primary school teachers ignore the local wisom when teaching Indonesian literature. They also have much interdependence of using textbooks. The study aims to explore the revitalization of debus mantra as the alternative learning material to foster local wisdom in elementary school level. The research method employed was qualitative ethnography. Field observation, interview and documentation protocol sheets were used to collect the data. The data were collected at Surya Galung community, Serang, Banten, Indonesia. Result suggested that debus mantra could be used as the alternative learning material to teach Indonesian literature in elementary school level because it can withstand external cultures, accommodates elements of external cultures, integrates components of external cultures into the native culture, and privides the direction for cultural progress.

Abstract

Learning carried out in the independent curriculum era should develop student creativity so that students are able to create something different to face the competition in real life that students will experience. However, the Indonesian language learning that occurs at SD Negeri 1 Banjareja has not been able to develop creative attitudes in students. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out learning innovations that can equip students with creative attitudes by implementing project based learning that integrates Tri N teachings in Indonesian language learning so that students' creativity grows and develops. This research aims to increase student creativity and find out how to increase student creativity in learning Indonesian by implementing project based learning that integrates Tri N teachings for class V students at SD Negeri 1 Banjareja. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which describes the application of Tri N teachings through project based learning syntax in class V Indonesian language learning at SD Negeri 1 Banjareja. Qualitative data analysis is carried out through the stages of reducing the collected data, data exposure, and data conclusion. The results of the research carried out show that there has been an increase in creativity in students, as evidenced by the works or learning products produced which are innovative works, which have their own characteristics between one work and another. Apart from that, the implementation of the project based learning model can be carried out according to the syntax by integrating the Tri N teaching steps in it. The integration between project based learning and Tri N teachings is mutually supportive and strengthening so that this research is successful.

Abstract

Leadership is an important social skill to develop from an early age in children. The learning process that supports leadership development in elementary schools has an important role in shaping children's character and organizational abilities. In this era of globalization, leadership abilities are no longer the exclusive domain of adults or state leaders. Leadership is now seen as a skill that can be developed from an early age. This research aims to document and analyze the efforts of Banda Aceh State Elementary School 14 in cultivating children's leadership through special programs. This research uses a qualitative approach method with descriptive research type. Through a series of interviews, information was obtained about understanding the concept of child leadership, student participation in leadership activities, concrete programs implemented, the role of parents and teachers, visible positive impacts, as well as challenges faced and strategies for overcoming them. The interview results show that the school implements a holistic approach in developing students' social skills, responsibility and decision-making abilities. Programs such as leadership training and collaborative projects are designed to give students hands-on experience. The role of parents and teachers is recognized as an important element in supporting children's leadership development. Visible positive impacts include increased student self-confidence and communication skills. Schools overcome challenges by engaging a team of teachers, collaborating with parents, and conducting ongoing evaluations.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the application of the mind mapping-based PBL model to student learning outcomes using Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research consisted of two cycles with the subjects of this research being class VI students at SD Negeri 1 Setrojenar consisting of 18 students. This research design uses a quantitative approach with research instruments, namely observation sheets and pretest and posttest questions to see the success of using the mind mapping-based PBL learning model. The research results show an increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect, namely an increase in learning outcomes. Furthermore, the affective aspect is a change in student behavior, which is more active and has higher learning motivation. The psychomotor aspect shows an increase in students' skills in using Canva media to create mind maps.

Abstract

This research aims to determine learning models and media for elementary school students to improve their poetry writing skills. This research is a literature review type. The sample used in this research was limited to elementary school students. The articles in this research were obtained from Google Scholar with the keywords learning models for elementary school students to improve poetry writing skills. The literature review in this research includes methods, samples. results, and conclusions. The results of this research show that 8 articles from Google Scholar were found that were suitable. The conclusion of this research is that learning models to improve poetry writing skills include the Project Based Learning Model, Synectic Learning Model, and Acrostic Technique. Media to improve poetry writing skills include Audio Visual Media, Experiential Learning Assisted by Image Media, Image Media, Big Book Media, and Diorama Media.

Abstract

This research examines the role of teachers as drivers in implementing character education values in schools. The character education values studied are religious, nationalist, independence, cooperation and integrity. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, observation and documentation. This research involved 15 teachers as informants. The results of this research show that character education in schools is important for forming students' traits, attitudes, behavior, nobility of character and noble morals. Teachers have a big role in implementing values such as religion, nationalism, independence, cooperation and integrity. Implementation of these values involves the teacher's example in respecting religious differences, loving local culture, and encouraging student creativity. The teacher's role as a role model and guide is key in creating a positive school environment for the formation of student character.

Abstract

This study focuses on the leadership of school principals at Tabang Elementary School. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered from teachers through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings highlight three main aspects of servant leadership: humanity, openness, and courage in facing challenges. School principals are identified not only as administrators but also as facilitators and leaders who empower the school community. These results can serve as inspiration for other schools to adopt servant leadership principles, enhance educational quality, and prepare students for the future.

Abstract

Education is an effort carried out systematically to acquire knowledge, skills, values ​​and norms from one generation to the next. Apart from aiming to convey information and knowledge, education is intended as a way to develop character and other competencies within students. One of the subjects oriented towards character building in social life is Civics. The learning process must use a learning model that is able to improve critical thinking, collaboration, communication, problem solving skills, and can make the learning atmosphere more fun, active, and encourage students' motivation to learn Civics. Therefore, the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model based on Tri-Nga teachings on Civics learning outcomes is very interesting to study and research. Based on the value of data analysis before implementing the Based Learning (PBL) learning model based on Tri-Nga teachings on the social studies learning outcomes of class IV elementary school students in Gugus 6 Samigaluh, an average value was obtained, namely 67.60. This shows that the average student learning outcomes are in the Low category. Meanwhile, after implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model based on Tri-Nga teachings in social studies subjects, the average score was 85.35. This shows that the average student learning outcomes are in the High category. So it can be said that there is an influence of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model based on Tri-Nga teachings on learning outcomes in the Civics subject for class IV elementary school students in Gugus 6 Samigaluh

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of P5 as a strengthening of Civic Culture and the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of P5 activities as a strengthening of Civic Culture at MAN 2 Model Mataram. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Informants in this study were determined by purposive sampling technique. To collect data using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. To test the validity of the data using three types of triangulation, namely source, time, and method. The results of this study indicate that, the form of implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) as a strengthening of Civic Culture at MAN 2 Mataram Model is: 1). Visiting cultural sites, 2) Oral literature, 3) Traditional food, 4) Traditional games, 5) Regional songs, 6) Folklore, 7) Traditional musical instruments, 8) Traditional clothing, 9) Customary law, 10) Religious moderation, 11) Sasak traditional dance, and 12) Sasak traditional wedding procession. Supporting factors for the implementation of P5 activities include the competence of teachers as P5 implementers, support and cooperation of teachers/staff/community, availability of a place to implement P5 activities, availability of implementation facilities, participation and enthusiasm of students and the availability of implementation guidelines and P5 teaching modules. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor in the implementation of activities is the lack of support from parents in the implementation of P5.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students in elementary schools who lack critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to find out how to influence and improve students' critical thinking skills after using the Problem Based Learning model for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Jelekong, Kp Ninerang, Jelekong Village, Baleendah District, Bandung Regency, Academic Year 2022/2023. Therefore the researcher was interested and took the title "The Influence of the Problem Based Learning Model in Improving the Critical Thinking Ability of Fifth Grade Students at Jelekong Elementary School." This study used a quantitative research type with a quasi-experimental method and nonequivalent control group design. On theme 8, sub-theme 3. The population used was all fifth grade students at SD Negeri Uglyong. VA class as the control class and VB class as the experimental class. Both classes will be given an initial test (pretest) and a final test (posttest). In this study using a test instrument in the form of multiple choice of 20 questions. The results of pretest data processing in the control class obtained an average of 55.17 with a standard deviation of 13.357 and the control class obtained an average value of 58.33 with a standard deviation of 16.522. The results of the posttest for the experimental class obtained a value of 83.67 with a standard deviation of 7.980 and the control class obtained a value of 56.00 with a standard deviation of 17.636. For the results of hypothesis testing using the t test obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. So it can be concluded that the ability of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.
