Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This research is motivated by students in elementary schools who lack critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to find out how to influence and improve students' critical thinking skills after using the Problem Based Learning model for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Jelekong, Kp Ninerang, Jelekong Village, Baleendah District, Bandung Regency, Academic Year 2022/2023. Therefore the researcher was interested and took the title "The Influence of the Problem Based Learning Model in Improving the Critical Thinking Ability of Fifth Grade Students at Jelekong Elementary School." This study used a quantitative research type with a quasi-experimental method and nonequivalent control group design. On theme 8, sub-theme 3. The population used was all fifth grade students at SD Negeri Uglyong. VA class as the control class and VB class as the experimental class. Both classes will be given an initial test (pretest) and a final test (posttest). In this study using a test instrument in the form of multiple choice of 20 questions. The results of pretest data processing in the control class obtained an average of 55.17 with a standard deviation of 13.357 and the control class obtained an average value of 58.33 with a standard deviation of 16.522. The results of the posttest for the experimental class obtained a value of 83.67 with a standard deviation of 7.980 and the control class obtained a value of 56.00 with a standard deviation of 17.636. For the results of hypothesis testing using the t test obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. So it can be concluded that the ability of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.

Indonesia is ranked 60th out of 61 countries in terms of reading interest according to the results of the World's Most Literate Nations Ranked research conducted by John W. Miller on 16 March 2016. Based on observation and research with the fifth grade teacher of SD Negeri Cikoneng, students find it difficult to learn literacy because they have to read slowly, lack of interest in books other than Thematic, and lack of motivation. The study aims to determine the application, effect, and improvement of Science and Technology Encyclopedia Book in improving Students' Reading Literacy assisted by Scouting Actualisation Model at SD Negeri Cikoneng. The research was conducted through a quantitative approach using the Quasi-Experiment method and the type of non-equivalent control group design with the object of research being grade V students in the 2022/2023 school year of SD Negeri Cikoneng. The research population was 25 male students and 31 female students and the research sample was 26 class A students as an experimental class with 12 boys and 14 girls and 30 class B students as a control class with 13 boys and 17 girls. The results showed that in the application of Science and Technology Encyclopedia Book Media to improve Student Reading Literacy assisted by the Scouting Actualisation Model at Cikoneng State Elementary School, students were able to read science and technology encyclopedia books. This is evidenced by the Mann Whitney U test score of 0.195. The results showed that there was an effect of science and technology encyclopedia book to improve students' reading literacy assisted by the Scouting Actualisation Model. This is evidenced by the results of the Mann Whitney U test score of 0.195. Then the results showed a moderate increase in students' reading literacy towards the Science and Technology Encyclopedia Book assisted by the Scouting Actualisation Model. This is evidenced by the N-Gain test of 0.62342440 or 62% increase in the experimental class and the Effect Size test resulted in a value of 0.244044919 which is in the medium category. Overall, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence in the use of the Science and Technology Encyclopedia Book assisted by the Scouting Actualisation Model on increasing student reading literacy. Through the Science and Technology Encyclopedia Book, students can apply and deepen their understanding of the material studied and is an effective approach to improving student reading literacy at SD Negeri Cikoneng.

The development of technology-based education is increasingly rapid, making it mandatory for the world of education to be able to master technology. Technology is developing so rapidly that digital media has become a new medium for producing e-comics. The results of interviews with the principal of Rumaisa School show that Rumaisa School's learning is based on Al-Islamic values. Rumaisa School students need an introduction to Indonesian culture so that a sense of nationalism continues to grow within students. The learning media that can be used by teachers to internalize the values of Al-Islam and Indonesian culture to students is e-comics. The aim of this research is to develop e-comics based on Islamic values and Indonesian culture that are valid and interesting. The development model used is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques use interview and questionnaire techniques. The instruments for this research include interview sheets, validation questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques include media validity analysis and media attractiveness analysis. The e-comic product was developed in the form of a flipbook. E-Comics have been validated by material experts and media experts. The material expert validation results obtained 91.6% with valid criteria. Furthermore, the media expert validation results obtained 72% with valid criteria with revisions. After the e-comic revision, a second media expert validation was carried out. Media expert validation results were 92% with valid criteria. After completing validation, the e-comic product was implemented on Rumaisa School South Korean students. Based on the student response questionnaire, students got 83% with interesting criteria. The development of e-comics based on AL-Islamic values and Indonesian culture is valid and interesting to use for learning for Rumaisa School students in South Korea.

This research aims to explore the characteristics of Android-based Interactive Learning Media that are grounded in Local Wisdom and contain Science subjects for fifth-grade elementary school students. Apart from that, this research also aims to test the validity and practicality of this learning media. The method used in this research is a development method using the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The instruments used in this research involve validation and practicality questionnaires. Data was collected through questionnaires with validation test assessment sheets given to 5 experts, with the aim of obtaining validity level data. Apart from that, a small-scale trial was carried out on 6 teachers and 10 students to obtain practical data on the results of media development. The results of the research show that Android-Based Interactive Learning Media Oriented to Local Wisdom with Science Content on Single and Mixed Object Topics for Class V Elementary School has characteristics that can meet differentiated learning needs. This media offers interactivity in text, audio, video and games in the form of applications that can be installed on smartphones and accessed via the web. The validity of this learning media was tested by material experts and media experts, with CVI results in the range of 0.68-1.00, indicating the "Very Good" decision category. Small-scale trials for teachers and students also showed positive results, with a mean score and category of "Very Practical". Thus, it can be concluded that Android-Based Interactive Learning Media with Local Wisdom Orientation, Natural Science Content, Single and Mixed Object Topics for Class V Elementary School, has high validity and practicality, and can be an effective alternative in supporting classroom learning.

The education sector has a crucial role in the nation's progress. The progress of the times which is marked by rapid technology can actually facilitate access and educational activities, including the learning process. Meeting information needs in all subjects, including mathematics, can run smoothly in the digital era and at all levels of education, especially at the elementary school (SD) level. Mathematics subjects are often seen as difficult because students are bored with the learning methods applied by teachers. This research aims to identify planning information needs in mathematics learning in the digital era at SD Negeri 2 Jatibanteng Situbondo. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method through observation, interviews and literature study. Based on the research results, it was found that planning and fulfilling information needs in the learning process still faces various limitations and challenges, such as a lack of teacher competence and inadequate technology available. Some of these obstacles make students interest and activeness in mathematics subjects decrease so that the learning process becomes boring.

The success of developing problem-based learning LKPD teaching materials that are oriented towards High Order Thinking Skills for high-class students and testing the feasibility, convenience and attractiveness of the LKPD teaching materials. The research method used is development research using four stages, namely: the definition stage (define), the design stage (Design), the development stage (Development). The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The questionnaire consisted of media experts, material experts, linguists, practitioners (educators) and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive. The results of this study show that the feasibility level for material is 89.25%, media is 82.8% and for linguists is 88.4%. So from these three aspects it can be concluded that problem based learning LKPD oriented High Order Thinking Skills in thematic learning is very suitable for use in learning. The teacher's response got a score of 91.18%, seen from the students' response questionnaire, they got an average score of 81.17% and achieved very interesting criteria, which means that problem based learning LKPDs oriented to High Order Thinking Skills in students are very interesting or very proper to use.

This research examines direct instruction in developing the linguistic intelligence of Attention Deficit Disorders (ADHD) students against the experience of loneliness among students during the move to distance learning and social distancing policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study examined multiple serial mediation of students' experiences with distance learning, perceived social support, and hope. We hypothesized that students with ADHD would experience social stress in addition to struggling with distance learning. However, we hope that social support and hope can mediate their loneliness. The sample consisted of students (average age SMA 17.99, – Kindergarten 5.08), at a medium-sized State Special School in East OKU and OKI Districts. Participants were divided into two groups of typical students and ADHD students. Loneliness, negative experiences during the use of distance learning, perceptions of social support, and expectations were examined. Students with ADHD reported higher levels of loneliness and more negative experiences with distance learning than their peers, as well as students' lower language skills. Results showed that ADHD and negative experiences with distance learning predicted higher levels of loneliness, while school support and peer support alongside hopeful thinking mediated this relationship. Discussion focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of loneliness and support while emphasizing the therapeutic implications of hope. Class IV teacher learning activities at SD N Kalimulyo 01 take place using teacher-centered learning methods. During learning, there is a lack of teachers in applying learning models and media to support the achievement of learning objectives. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of science and science learning outcomes for fourth grade students in elementary schools who are taught using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model based on spinning wheel media. This research uses a quantitative experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design with a non-probability sampling technique, a saturated sample type. The instrument used is a test instrument which aims to measure student learning outcomes with test questions of 10 multiple choice questions and 5 essay questions. The data analysis techniques used are the paired sample t-test and the N-Gain test. Based on the test results, it was found that the results of the data analysis showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This result is the expected result because the significance is <0.05, which indicates that there is a difference in the pretest and posttest scores on the science and science learning outcomes. It is known that the results of the hypothesis test show that the teams games tournament (TGT) learning model has an effect on students' science as well learning outcomes.

This research aims to determine the correlation between students' mathematical abilities and science abilities. The population of this study were te students of the PGSD Department of FIP Makassa State University, the 6th Campus of Bone, Class of 2020, in totaling of 60 students. The data analysis technique were descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that the average mathematics and science abilities of students were 41.43 and 57.80 and the based on inferential statistical analysis it was found that the correlation coefficient value for students' mathematics and science abilities was of 0.858 and the sig. (two parties) value was of 0.000. Because the Sig value. < α/2 (with α=0.05) then H1 was accepted. The results of the research can be concluded that there is a relationship between students' mathematical abilities and students' natural science abilities: (1) the type of connection is unidirectional, meaning that if the students' mathematical abilities increase, the students' natural science abilities also increase or if the students' natural science abilities increase, the students' mathematical abilities also increase and (2) the relationship between mathematics ability and students' science ability is very strong and significant

The digital era has brought a transformation in learning methods, introducing new tools and technologies that can increase student engagement and understanding. In this context, flipbooks emerge as one of the promising innovations in education, especially in fiqh learning at MTs Muhammadiyah Sukarame, Bandar Lampung. This research aims to describe the use of flipbooks as a learning medium and identify their impact on understanding fiqh material for grade 8 students. Using qualitative descriptive methods, this research explores student and teacher perspectives regarding the implementation of flipbooks in the learning process, through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis . It is hoped that the research results will provide insight into the effectiveness of flipbooks in facilitating a better understanding of Islamic jurisprudence concepts, offering more interactive and interesting learning alternatives, and increasing students' learning motivation. This research also aims to evaluate the challenges faced in implementing flipbooks and how these challenges can be overcome to maximize their potential as a learning tool. Thus, this study not only contributes to the literature on Islamic education and educational technology but also offers practical recommendations for the development of more effective and dynamic fiqh learning in the future.
