Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. Reading interest in Indonesia is very low compared to other countries, hence the introduction of the reading corner as an effort to improve reading skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the reading corner on students' interest in reading. This research is a quantitative research with survey method. The population in this study were 22 fifth grade students of Bhakti Luhur Elementary School. The sampling technique used saturated sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out with a questionnaire as the main source, while observation and documentation studies as supporting sources. The test in this study used validity and reliability tests, and the T test. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the reading corner on increasing interest in reading. Based on the hypostatistical test calculated by the t test, the results obtained if the significant value of 0.000 is less than 0.05 with a confidence level of 95%, then the conclusion is H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there are differences between male and female students. Male students are more interested in reading books in the reading corner than female students. The results of this study are useful for teachers in mobilizing students to read diligently.

This research is a survey research which aims to describe the speaking skills of the prospective teacher students in interacting with their lecturers. The subjects of this research were the prospective teacher students of PGSD FIP UNM who were actively in taking the part in lectures taught by researchers (Konsep Dasar IPA, Pendidikan IPA Lanjutan, Pengembangan Konsep Dasar IPA, dan Evaluasi Pembelajaran) whose parents' work backgrounds were farmers. The population in this study was of 100 people. The sampling method uses is a quota technique. The sample size was of 80 people, obtained using the Slovin formula. The data collection techniques used were a observation and interview techniques with research instruments in the form of observation sheets, daily recording sheets and interview guides. The data analysis technique used was the descriptive data analysis technique. Research results and conclusions: In general, the students in speaking when take interacting with their lecturers demonstrated the speaking skills of "not being rude" and "thankful" every time they end a conversation with their lecturer. Meanwhile, generally, the students lack of in speaking skills in terms of: speaking correlated, not interrupting the conversation, not having a commanding tone in the conversation, being empathetic, paying attention to the time, and paying attention to the lecturer when speaking. In other words, when students speak in take interacting with lecturers, they generally lack of connection, interrupt, have a commanding tone, lack of empathy, pay less attention to the time and pay less attention to the lecturer when speaking.

This research is quantitative research with a correlational type of research which has objectives 1). To find out a picture of the 21st century teaching skills of teachers at Batulaccuu State Elementary School, Makassar City. 2). To find out a picture of student learning motivation at Batulaccu State Elementary School, Makassar City. 3). To find out whether there is a relationship between 21st century teaching skills and student learning motivation at Batulaccu State Elementary School, Makassar City. Variable X in this research is 21st century teaching skills, while variable Y in this research is student learning motivation. The population in this study was 35 students. Data collection was carried out by providing questionnaires and documentation. The power analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistics, namely the average value and percentage, a picture of the teacher's 21st century teaching skills and student learning motivation is in the very good category. Then, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, it shows that tcount is greater than ttable at the 5% significance level. Therefore H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of this research, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between teachers' 21st century teaching skills and student learning motivation at Batlaccu State Elementary School, Makassar City.

This study discusses the effect of using augmented reality media on students' listening skills at UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang Tua II Makassar City which aims to determine the description of the use of augmented reality media for students, to determine the description of listening skills of class students, to determine the effect of using augmented reality media on students' listening skills. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Layng Tua II students, the sample was 19 students selected using saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that the description of the use of augmented reality media was carried out in a good category, the description of the results of the student listening skills test showed a significant difference in students' listening skills with an increase from the average petest score in the incomplete category while the posttest score was in the complete category, and there was an effect of using augmented reality media on listening skills of class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang Tua II students as evidenced by hypothesis testing using the t-Test formula assisted by IBM SPSS Statistic.

In an effort to create a generation of people with a disciplined character, teachers are expected to be able to choose and implement their role as educators who can shape the disciplined character of students. The formulation of the problem in this research is the role of teachers in forming the disciplinary character of students at SMA Negeri 5 Pinggir. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of teachers in forming the disciplined character of students at SMA Negeri 5 Pinggir. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this research are through observation, interviews and documentation. The findings of this research explain that the role of the teacher is not only to teach but also to act as an educator, as an educator, as an advisor, as a motivator, as a guide and as an evaluator which will later be able to produce students who are disciplined in neatness, disciplined in crafts, disciplined in environmental cleanliness, disciplined in managing study time. and discipline in behavior. Based on the results of data analysis, there are also factors that influence the role of teachers, namely supporting factors in the formation of students' disciplined character through school activities, the cooperative relationship between parents and the school in student development. And while the inhibiting factors in forming students' disciplined character are that there are limited teachers in supervising students' interactions with friends outside of school, students do not understand the use of advanced technology and there is a lack of participation from some students' parents in monitoring and complying with school regulations at SMA Negeri 5 Pinggir.

Rendahnya prestasi belajar peserta didik bergantung pada aspek afektif dan aspek kognitif. Penggunaan model pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Salah satu cara inovatif untuk melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif dan membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT dengan media word square. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas model TGT dengan media word square terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar IPAS pada peserta didik kelas V SDN Kepunduhan 01. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen desain nonequivalent control group, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 44 peserta didik. Sampel terdiri dari 22 peserta didik kelas VA sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 22 peserta didik kelas VB sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data diperoleh dengan tes dan non-tes, dan diuji menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan uji independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata posttest motivasi belajar tidak memliki perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, namun hasil belajar IPAS pada kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata nilai posttest yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 11,32. Minat baca adalah kecenderungan individu untuk memiliki keinginan atau ketertarikan yang kuat dalam melakukan kegiatan membaca, yang juga diiringi dengan usaha yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minat baca individu siswa yang masih rendah khususnya tingkat sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengumpulkan data dan menggambarkan pengadaan pojok baca dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian menggunakan teknik survei dan kuesioner dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minat baca siswa sekolah dasar dengan adanya pojok baca di sekolah masih dalam kriteria cukup dengan rata-rata skor 58,7%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa pengadaan pojok baca dapat menjadi salah satu langkah yang efektif dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa sekolah dasar, namun masih ada sebagian yang membutuhkan perhatian khusus dalam meningkatkan minat baca mereka. Upaya-upaya tambahan dapat dilakukan untuk terus meningkatkan minat baca siswa, seperti obsevasi berulang untuk memahami perubahan dalam minat baca siswa seiring waktu setelah penerapan pojok baca.Kata Kunci: Minat Baca, Pojok Baca, Sekolah Dasar

The purpose of this research is to study Red Ocean and Blue Ocean strategies in educational institutions. The type of research used in this article is library research where researchers collect books and articles related to the title of this article. The results of the research are that in the management of Islamic education, Red Ocean and Blue Ocean Strategy can be important references in planning strategies and managing educational institutions. The Red Ocean Strategy can help educational institutions compete in a saturated market by emphasizing operational efficiency and improving service quality. Meanwhile, the Blue Ocean Strategy can help educational institutions to create new markets by developing innovative ideas and offering added value that is different from the existing ones. In 2020 the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikburistek) issued a policy regarding changes to the curriculum. Then in 2022-2023 the implementation of the new independent curriculum will be implemented in stages starting from class I and class IV. The implementation of the independent curriculum at SD Negeri Sampangan 01 Semarang City is carried out by the principal, teachers and students, as an initial program that follows recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim of this research is to develop, analyze the feasibility and test the effectiveness of learning videos based on the model-assisted PowerPoint model. problem based-learning in science and science subjects carried out in class IV of SDN Sampangan 01 Semarang. This research method uses research & development (R&D) developed by ADDIE. Data collection techniques use test, observation, interview and questionnaire techniques. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using several initial tests, namely the normality test and homogeneity test, while the final data analysis includes the t test and the N-gain test. The population in this study was 28 class IV students at SDN Sampangan 01 Semarang. The findings in this research show that product feasibility in every aspect is 80.43% media validation, 88.88% material validation, and 92.18% language validation. In the small group t-test, it was 16.473 > 2.570. Shows that there are differences in small group pretest and posttest learning outcomes. In the large group t-test, it was 48.752 > 2.079. Shows that there are differences in pretest and posttest learning outcomes for large groups. For the small group N-gain test it was 0.805 and the large group Ngain test was 0.780. These two values show that there are pretest and posttest values on learning outcomes using Powtoon-based learning videos assisted by the problem based-learning model. The conclusion is that Powtoon-based learning videos assisted by problem based learning models are feasible and effective for use in science and science learning.

Based on observations, researchers found that some class I students did not appear proficient in reading. So we can see how students' reading methods are disjointed, they are still lacking in pronouncing writing, in fact there are also some students who are still unable to read words and sentences. Therefore, because during the learning process in the classroom students are very based on learning using textbooks which do not attract students' attention and interest in learning. Researchers are very interested in carrying out the learning process using big book media in thematic learning. There is also research carried out so that a teacher is able to find out the influence of big book media on students' reading fluency. The research method for researchers to achieve research is using an experimental method (one group pre-test post-test design). In collecting data, pretest and posttest are used. For better results, this research shows that big book media influences reading fluency for thematic learning. It can be seen and proven by the results of the paired sample T-test with the t experiment, namely (-19.980) in the sig number. (0.000 < 0.03) then shows that the hypothesis (ha) increases and the hypothesis (ho) decreases.
