Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. Students’ ability to understand the solar system material is often hindered by its abstract nature and the limited use of concrete media in learning. This study aims to determine the validity level of Papustas (Solar System Puzzle Board) as a learning aid in IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) subjects at the elementary school level. The media is designed to present celestial object concepts in a visual and interactive way through a puzzle game, thus enhancing students’ interest, comprehension, and active engagement. The research was conducted at UPT SDN Patihan 1 with 15 sixth-grade students as participants, using a research and development (R&D) approach with a descriptive quantitative method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests, and validation sheets. The validation process involved three experts: a content expert, a media expert, and a language expert. The results showed that Papustas received a score of 90% from the content expert, 94.7% from the media expert, and 86% from the language expert, with an average validity score of 90.23%. These results indicate that Papustas falls into the “very valid” category and is feasible to be used as a learning medium to help students understand solar system concepts more concretely, enjoyably, and meaningfully.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya minat membacasiswa SDN 140 Palembang. Metode yang digunakanadalah pendekatan kualitatif. teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua kategorifaktor penyebab rendahnya minat membaca siswa. Faktor internal meliputi rendahnya kemampuanmembaca, kurangnya kebiasaan membaca, dan kurangnya motivasi intrinsik siswa untuk membaca. Faktor eksternal mencakup lingkungan sekolah yang kurang mendukung, peran perpustakaan yang belummaksimal, keterbatasan koleksi buku yang menarik, pengaruh media digital, serta kurangnya dukungandari keluarga dalam membiasakan anak untukmembaca. Temuan ini sejalan dengan penelitiansebelumnya yang mengidentifikasi bahwa faktorinternal seperti kemampuan dan kebiasaan membaca, serta faktor eksternal seperti lingkungan sekolah dan dukungan keluarga, berperan signifikan dalam minatbaca siswa Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankanuntuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran membacadi sekolah, memperbanyak koleksi buku yang menarikdi perpustakaan, serta melibatkan orang tua dalammendukung kebiasaan membaca anak. Dengandemikian, diharapkan minat membaca siswa dapatmeningkat, yang pada gilirannya akan berdampakpositif pada prestasi akademik. Kata kunci: minat membaca, faktor internal, faktoreksternal

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi media pembelajaran 3D virtual reality berbasis android untuk pembelajaran seni tari pada siswa kelas V Di SDN 4 Ketringan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran seni tari yang disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran konvensional dan keterbatasan penggunaan media interaktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah research and development (r&d) dengan model pengembangan addie (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Penelitian mencakup analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk, validasi ahli, serta uji efektivitas melalui pre-test dan post-test. Media dikembangkan menggunakan platform artsteps.com yang memungkinkan pembuatan pameran virtual dalam bentuk 3D virtual reality, dan dapat diakses melalui smartphone. Materi pembelajaran difokuskan pada unsur pendukung tari. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan nilai validasi masing-masing sebesar 88,75% dan 89,7%, dengan kategori “sangat layak.” Uji efektivitas dilakukan pada kelompok kecil dan besar. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p< 0,05), dan analisis n-gain menunjukkan peningkatan sedang (0,4911) pada kelompok kecil dan besar (0,7882) pada kelompok besar. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media 3d virtual reality berbasis android efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa multimedia imersif memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif di tingkat sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam bidang seni.

This study aims to determine the effect of big book media on reading comprehension skills of grade II students at SD Negeri 30 Palembang. The method used is True Experimental Design with the type of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample in this study were grade II B students as the experimental class and grade II D as the control class, each totaling 28 people. Data collection techniques used observation, tests and documentation, with instruments in the form of multiple choice questions. Data analysis techniques used include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that the average data value of the experimental class pretest was 55.36, the average posttest value of the experimental class was 75.00, while the average pretest value of the control was 52.50, and the average posttest value of the control was 55.36. The output of the normality test shows that the pretest-posttest data of the control class and the pretest-posttest of the experimental class are normally distributed, with a significance value of the pretest of the control class of 0.200> 0.05 and the posttest of the control class of 0.129> 0.05, while the pretest data of the experimental class is 0.196> 0.05 and the posttest of the experimental class is 0.200> 0.05. The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant influence of the influence of big book media on the reading ability of class II students at SD Negeri 30 Palembang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi guru terhadap strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) Sd Negeri 30 Palembang. Fenomena inklusi ABK dalam lingkungan sekolah reguler menuntut pemahaman mendalam tentang pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai, namun masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam implementasi strategi yang adaptif. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan guru guru yang secara langsung mengajar ABK di SD Negeri 30 Palembang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan di kelas untuk mengamati interaksi guru dan ABK serta penerapan strategi pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam dengan guru untuk menggali persepsi, pengalaman, dan tantangan yang dihadapi, serta dokumentasi berupa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan catatan perkembangan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki persepsi beragam mengenai efektivitas strategi pembelajaran. Strategi seperti modifikasi kurikulum, pembelajaran individual (Individualized Education Program/IEP), pemanfaatan media visual, pendekatan multisensori, dan kolaborasi dengan orang tua/spesialis dianggap krusial. Namun, efektivitas strategi ini sangat bergantung pada jenis kebutuhan khusus siswa, ketersediaan sumber daya, dan pelatihan guru yang memadai. Guru juga menyoroti pentingnya kesabaran, fleksibilitas, dan pemahaman empati terhadap karakteristik unik setiap ABK. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun guru telah menunjukkan upaya adaptif, masih diperlukan dukungan lebih lanjut dalam bentuk pelatihan berkelanjutan, penyediaan fasilitas yang mendukung, dan pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih responsif untuk memastikan pembelajaran yang inklusif dan efektif bagi ABK di SD Negeri 30 Palembang.

This study aims to determine whwther there is an influence of giving Rewards on student’s learning motivation at SD Negeri 25 Palembang. The research also aims to identify the obstacles and challenges that may arise during the implementation of Rewards in enhancing student’s learning motivastion. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlation type. The population in this study consists of all students at SD Negeri 25 Palembang, totaling 591 students. The sampling technique used is non-prbability sampling with a purposive sampling method, involving 30 students from class IIIA. Data collection techniques in this study include questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Based on the kolmogrov-smirnov normality last, the significance value for Rewards ins 0,335 > 0,05 and for learning motivation is 0,605 > 0,05, indication that the data are normally distributed. The result og the linearity test shows a significance value for deviation from linarity 0f 0,857 > 0,05, which means the data are linear. The hypothesis test using pearson product moment correlation shows a significance value of 0,438 < 0,05. This means the Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it can be concludes that there is a significant influence of giving Reward on student’s learning motivation at SD Negeri 25 Palembang

The lack of parental role in the implementation project of strengthening the Pancasila student profile and character building is still a problem that must be overcome. This study reveals the role of parents in the implementation project of strengthening the Pancasila student profile to foster students' responsible character at MI Al-Ma’arif Wringinsari. Namely the aim is to determine the role of parents in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in the success of the learning process at home. By using a Qualitative approach of the phenomenological type involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that 1.) The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) was carried out structurally and in collaboration with parents. 2.) the role of parents as the main educators at home in the formation of student character. 3) After the implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project, it had a positive and sustainable impact.

Penelitian di MIS Fajar Shiddiq bertujuan untuk mengukur dampak metode pengajaran Picture and Picture terhadap pemahaman dan penerapan hak dan tanggung jawab hukum oleh siswa kelas tiga. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain quasi-eksperimental. Ada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode Picture and Picture, dan ada kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode yang lebih konvensional untuk mempelajari informasi yang sama. Hasil pembelajaran dievaluasi menggunakan data yang dikumpulkan dari tes awal dan tes akhir. Analisis menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kedua kelompok, dengan siswa model Picture and Picture secara signifikan mengungguli kelompok kontrol dalam semua tugas pembelajaran. Peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konten Hak dan Tanggung Jawab merupakan bukti bahwa pendekatan tersebut efektif.

This study aims to determine whether or not ther is an influence of the cooperative learning model assited by crossword puzzle in the natural and social science subject on the learning motivation of 4th grade students at SD Negeri 102 Palembang. The method used is an experimental method with the design form used in the form of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The research sample taken in this study was Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires to determine student learning motivation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were Shapiro-Wilk in the normality test, homogeneity test, and Paired Sample T-Test in the hypothesis test. The results of the study showed that learning motivation in the posttest had a significant increase from the pretest, with the results of learning motivation in the posttest in the high category (27 students), and medium (3 students) with a total score of 1.720 and the average score was 57. In the pretest in the high category (7 students), medium (11 students), and low (12 students) with a total score of 1,169 and the average score was 38,96. Based on data analysis and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that: There is a significant influence of the cooperative learning model assisted by crossword puzlle in the natural and social science subject on the learning motivation of 4th grade students at SD Negeri 102 Palembang

Speaking skills are one of the important aspects in developing students' language skills, especially at the elementary school level. Learning speaking skills is not only aimed at training oral communication skills, but also at forming students' courage, self-confidence, and critical thinking skills. This study aims to identify and analyze learning strategies used by teachers in developing speaking skills in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method implemented at SD No. 4 Tuban. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the strategies used included storytelling activities, role-playing, group discussions, and open questions and answers. Although these strategies are effective in encouraging active student participation, there are obstacles such as low student self-confidence, limited learning media, and less than optimal assessment of speaking skills. Therefore, it is necessary to develop more varied methods, supporting learning media, and a structured evaluation system so that learning speaking skills in elementary schools can run more effectively.
