Abstract

The objectives of this research include the design and development of Smart Box media to introduce Indonesian cultural heritage to students at Sanggar Belajar Kepong, Malaysia. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model approach, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination. This media is designed to increase students' interest and understanding of Indonesian culture. Data collection was carried out through validation and questionnaires involving 16 students. At the Define stage, student needs and learning objectives were identified. At the Design stage, the media concept and content were designed. At the Develop stage, the media was developed and tested. Finally, the Dissemination stage was carried out by introducing the media in learning activities. The results showed that the use of Smart Box significantly increased student engagement and provided an interactive learning experience. This media obtained a validity value of 95% from material experts, 94% from media experts, and 100% from teacher and student questionnaires, all of which were in the very valid category. The application of this systematic development model has been proven to be able to increase student participation and understanding of the material. Therefore, Smart Box is expected to be an effective solution in introducing Indonesian culture, especially in the context of education abroad.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah lanskap pendidikan secara signifikan. Adanya berbagai macam perangkat dan aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis digital yang dapat dimanfaatkan bagi seorang guru untuk menjaga teknologi ini dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab berlangsung. Bahasa Arab dapat dikatakan sebagai bahasa asing yang mana sering kali dianggap sulit oleh peserta didik.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptifdigunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Abstract

This study was driven by the tendency of students with hearing impairments to improve their skills in creating epoxy clocks. These students possess artistic talent in painting that can be further developed through three-dimensional media such as epoxy-based clocks. Therefore, the researcher sought to implement the project-based learning method to enhance these students’ painting skills. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the project-based learning method in improving the skills of making epoxy clocks among students with hearing impairments at SLB Negeri 1 Pariaman. This research adopts a quantitative approach using an experimental method known as single subject research (SSR) with an A-B design. Data were collected through observation using instruments and documentation in May 2025 with one subject. Data analysis was carried out using the visual graph method. The results revealed that the skills of making epoxy clocks among students with hearing impairments improved following the intervention with the project-based learning method, as indicated by an increase in skill frequency both within and across conditions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas VIII.3 SMP Negeri 26 Palembang. Permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik, yang tercermin dari kurangnya partisipasi, rendahnya semangat belajar, serta lemahnya kerja sama dalam kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar secara signifikan. Pada pra-siklus, hanya 37,5% peserta didik yang menunjukkan motivasi tinggi. Setelah siklus I, meningkat menjadi 59,4%, dan pada siklus II mencapai 84,3%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model TGT efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik melalui pembelajaran yang interaktif, kolaboratif, dan kompetitif secara sehat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan model TGT sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan pendekatan lain untuk hasil yang lebih menyeluruh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan buku cerita bergambar terhadap peningkatan keterampilan membaca peserta didik kelas 1 SDIT Al-Baariq. Keterampilan membaca merupakan aspek fundamental dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama di tingkat sekolah dasar, namun masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami teks bacaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design, Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IC sebagai kelas kontrol di mana kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media buku cerita bergambar, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata keterampilan membaca siswa di kelas eksperimen meningkat secara signifikan dari 49,05 sebelum perlakuan menjadi 83,6 setelah perlakuan. Uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung (55,368) lebih besar dari ttabel (2,10092), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan buku cerita bergambar terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa. Oleh karena itu, buku cerita bergambar dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas rendah.

Abstract

Computer network learning in vocational high schools (SMK), particularly in the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) department, still faces various challenges, such as students’ difficulties in understanding abstract technical concepts and limited practical facilities. This condition highlights the need for innovative, interactive, and applicable learning media. This study aims to examine the use of Cisco Packet Tracer as an interactive e-learning tool to enhance the effectiveness of computer network learning in SMK. The methodology employed is descriptive qualitative, using literature review and independent exploration of the features and implementation of Cisco Packet Tracer. The findings indicate that Cisco Packet Tracer provides a virtual learning environment that simulates real-world conditions, facilitates student understanding through hands-on simulation, and supports project-based learning. Therefore, Cisco Packet Tracer is an effective, efficient, and suitable alternative learning medium for vocational education settings.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students’ understanding of the concept of place value in numbers. One contributing factor is that the teacher does not utilize any instructional media during the learning process, which can hinder students’ comprehension of the material. A fun and engaging learning process in teaching the concept of place value can help enhance students' understanding. One way to create an enjoyable learning experience is by using instructional media, such as PAKABI (Papan Kantong Bilangan). This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The aim of this study is to describe the validity of the PAKABI (Papan Kantong Bilangan) instructional media. The research instrument used is a validation questionnaire. Based on the results from expert validators: (1) media expert validation received a score percentage of 82%, which falls into the “very valid” category, and (2) material expert validation received a score percentage of 95%, also categorized as “very valid.” Overall, the average validation score is 88.5%, indicating that the PAKABI media is highly valid and can be used in the learning process

Abstract

Performance-based education financing is a strategic approach to encourage improvements in the quality of education through fund allocation based on achievement of results. However, the implementation of this financing model still faces challenges in terms of planning, implementation, and reporting that are oriented towards performance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of performance-based education financing through the School Operational Assistance (BOS) Performance program at SDN Rancaekek 06, Bandung Regency. The approach used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that SDN Rancaekek 06 received BOS Performance in the category of Schools with the Best Progress, based on a significant increase in the Education Report Card score. Funds of Rp22,500,000 were used to support priority activities such as the development of digital learning media, teacher training, diagnostic assessments, and bullying prevention programs. The planning process was carried out in a participatory and data-based manner, implementation was monitored through an internal monitoring mechanism, and reporting was submitted accountably through the ARKAS system. The implementation of performance-based financing in this school has a positive impact on increasing the capacity of the BOS team, transparency of financial management, and changes in budgeting orientation from administrative to focusing on learning outcomes. This study recommends strengthening support systems, ongoing training, and adaptive policies to encourage successful implementation of performance-based financing at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning styles on learning motivation of third grade students of SD Negeri 2 Latihan SPG Ambon. The background of this research is based on the diversity of learning styles of students (visual, auditorial, and kinesthetic) that have not been fully accommodated in learning, as well as the low learning motivation experienced by some students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative research type. The sample in this study were all third grade students as many as 36 people, who were selected using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through a learning style questionnaire and a learning motivation questionnaire before and after treatment, and supported by observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study showed a significant effect of learning style on learning motivation (sig. 0.000 <0.05). The average motivation increased after learning adapted to visual, auditorial, and kinesthetic learning styles

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media based on a microsite for teaching Pancasila Education, specifically the history of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), for 4th grade elementary school students. The development followed the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research subjects were 5th grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kawi, Malang. Data were collected through expert validation questionnaires, student and teacher practicality assessments, and effectiveness tests based on student learning outcomes. The findings indicate that the developed learning media is highly valid (average 90%), very practical (average 94%), and highly effective (85% classical learning completeness). The microsite includes interactive multimedia elements such as videos, quizzes, and educational games that enhance students’ understanding and interest in Pancasila material. Thus, this media is feasible and recommended as an innovative alternative in elementary school learning processes.
