Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of problem based learning in order to improve student learning achievement in Indonesian language subjects in grade II students of SD N Krapyak Wetan Bantul, the type of research used by the researcher in this study is the Quasi-experimental method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This study covers two classes, namely the control class that applies teacher-centered learning and the experimental class that uses problem-based learning. The research sample that the researcher took included Class II A consisting of 25 students as the control group and Class II B consisting of 26 students as the experimental group, Test questions in the form of pre-test questions, post-test questions and documentation are data collection techniques and independent sample t-test is data analysis. Then after implementing learning with Problem Based Learning there was a significant increase in student learning achievement, in the control class the average post-test results were only 62.52, in the experimental class there was a very significant increase with the average post-test results reaching 77.38. Based on data analysis with hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test, a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it is concluded that Problem Based Learning is effective in improving learning achievement in Indonesian Language Lessons for grade II students at SD N Krapyak Wetan Bantul.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan di SLB YPAC Sumatera Barat. Terdapat seorang anak Perempuan berinisial K mengalami permasalahan pada fisik dan motorik. Kondisi ini semakin diperparah oleh kurangnya alat bantu pembelajaran yang ergonomis, seperti kursi roda yang tidak dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan adjustable wheelchair yang mendukung optimalisasi proses belajar anak cerebral palsy di SLB YPAC Sumatera Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan Successive Approximation Model (SAM), melalui tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, desain iteratif, dan pengembangan iteratif. Subjek uji coba meliputi ahli disabilitas, ahli desain, ahli teknik, serta satu siswa cerebral palsy sebagai pengguna. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket validasi serta uji praktikalitas. Hasil validasi dari para ahli menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelayakan sebesar 87% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Sementara itu, hasil uji praktikalitas menunjukkan rata-rata skor 87% dengan nilai tertinggi pada aspek kenyamanan (95%) dan efektivitas dalam pembelajaran (90%). Respon dari wali kelas dan orang tua juga sangat positif dengan rata-rata kepuasan mencapai 88%. Secara keseluruhan, produk ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kenyamanan, keamanan, dan konsentrasi siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Dengan demikian, adjustable wheelchair ini menjadi solusi inovatif yang mendukung penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the habit of reading poetry and the ability to identify the structural elements of poetry. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a correlational research design. The population in this study consists of all eighth-grade students at SMPN 16 Pontianak, with a sample of 33 students from class VIII E. The data collection tools used in this research are two: a questionnaire to measure students' habits of reading poetry and a test to assess their ability to identify the structural elements of poetry. The results showed an rxy of 0.092, and the rtabel at a 5% significance level with N = 33 is 0.355. The data indicate that rxy < rtabel (0.092 < 0.355), which means we accept Ho and reject Ha. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between the habit of reading poetry and the ability to identify the structural elements of poetry among eighth-grade students at SMPN 16 Pontianak.

Abstract

Implementation of Crossword Puzzle Media in Improving Indonesian Vocabulary Mastery in Grade II of SD Inpres Hartaco Indah. The main problem in this study is whether Crossword Puzzle media can improve Indonesian vocabulary mastery and how to implement it in grade II of SD Inpres Hartaco Indah. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Crossword Puzzle media and efforts to improve Indonesian vocabulary mastery through Crossword Puzzle media. This type of research is classroom action research (Class Action Research) consisting of two cycles. The subjects in this study were 31 grade II students of SD Inpres Hartaco Indah.The results of the study showed an increase in every aspect of learning. Student involvement increased from 25.80% in cycle I to 29.03% in cycle II. The average vocabulary mastery score increased from 65.64 (sufficient category) to 85.16 (good category). Student learning completeness also increased from 48.39% (15 students) to 93.54% (29 students). Based on the results of the study above, it can be concluded that the mastery of Indonesian vocabulary of class II students of SD Inpres Hartaco Indah through the application of Crossword Puzzle media has increased.

Abstract

The effect of Wordwall-based learning media on the learning outcomes of grade III students at SD Inpres Hartaco Indah, Makassar City on the material of game activities and water sports. The approach used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design of the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. The sample in this study was 30 students. The results of the study showed an increase in learning outcomes after Wordwall-based media. This can be seen from the increase in the average value from 62.16 in the pretest to 81.66 in the posttest, as well as a decrease in the standard deviation from 12.08 to 5.92, which indicates an increase in the consistency of student learning outcomes. The normality test shows that the data is normally distributed. Meanwhile, the results of the Paired Sample t-Test produced a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. The questionnaire data also showed that students responded very positively to Wordwall-based media in learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that Wordwall-based learning media has a significant effect on student learning outcomes, and also helps improve understanding and interest in learning, especially in PJOK learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a test instrument for mathematical communication skills among elementary school students, specifically on the topics of plane and solid geometry. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) method based on a modified 4-D model, which consisted of the define, design, and develop stages. The instrument was constructed based on three indicators: written text, drawing, and mathematical expression. Expert validation showed the instrument was highly valid, with a feasibility score of 80%. A limited trial was conducted with 16 sixth-grade students at MI Raudhatul Mubtadiin. The analysis using ANATES version 4.0.5 revealed that three out of five items had significant empirical validity. The instrument's reliability score was 0.59, which was categorized as moderate. Most items were of medium difficulty level, and their discriminating power ranged from good to sufficient. Based on these findings, the developed instrument was considered feasible for assessing students' mathematical communication skills in elementary school.

Abstract

Keterbatasan sumber pendanaan sering menjadi tantangan utama dalam menjamin berkelanjutan dan mutu pendidikan di sekolah swasta. Inovasi pembiayaan berbasis kewirausahaan menjadi alternatif strategis untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi inovatif pembiayaan pendidikan melalui kegiatan kewirausahaan produksi Kangen Water di SMP Plus Al-Istiqomah, serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap kemandirian dan keberlanjutan pembiayaan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, kepada kepala sekolah, bendahara, komite sekolah, pengawas, dan Dinas Pendidikan, serta studi dokumentasi. Melalui siklus manajemen PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action), hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program kewirausahaan ini tidak hanya mampu menopang sebagian kebutuhan operasional sekolah, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter kewirausahaan siswa melalui keterlibatan langsung dalam kegiatan ekonomi yang edukatif. Kesimpulannya, inovasi pembiayaan berbasis kewirausahaan di SMP Plus Al-Istiqomah merupakan langkah strategis yang mendukung kemandirian finansial sekolah sekaligus menjadi sarana pendidikan karakter yang aplikatif.

Abstract

Career introduction is an essential first step in the career planning process for students. This study aims to develop an engaging and user-friendly quartet card game as a career introduction tool for elementary school students. The research follows the Research and Development (R&D) methodology. The study resulted in a career card game designed to introduce career concepts to elementary students. The media expert evaluation scored the game 100, categorizing it as 'excellent,' while the material expert evaluation scored 84, categorizing it as 'good.' Additionally, limited trials showed that before the intervention, 28.18% of students had a 'low' level of career introduction, whereas after the intervention, 95.46% reached a 'very high' level. Based on these findings, the career card game is concluded to be an effective tool for supporting career introduction in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the multi-sensory method to enhance the social skills and cognitive abilities of children with special needs at Serasan Seandanan Special School, South OKU. The problem arises from the need for appropriate learning approaches tailored to individual characteristics, especially for children who often face challenges in social interaction and cognitive development within inclusive education settings. The Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving teachers, the school principal, and students. The findings show that multi-sensory activities—incorporating visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile stimuli—have a positive effect on students' social engagement, empathy, cooperation, and communication skills. Moreover, these methods also stimulate cognitive development through enjoyable, concrete learning experiences. The consistent and structured application of the multi-sensory method resulted in increased student participation and improvements in essential social and cognitive competencies. Abstract

The digital transformation of vocational higher education presents structural and cultural challenges, especially within institutions that apply a semi-military system such as the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic (PPI) Curug. This study aims to identify the inhibiting and supporting factors influencing the implementation of digital education innovation strategies using a qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with cadets and lecturers, and were complemented by relevant document analysis to ensure a comprehensive contextual understanding. The findings indicate that major barriers include limited digital infrastructure, misalignment between learning platforms and vocational needs, lack of technical training, and rigid organizational systems. Conversely, innovation is supported by individual lecturer initiatives, access to digital devices, active communication, and the informal adoption of blended learning. Analysis based on the Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) framework reveals that successful digital innovation depends heavily on technological readiness, organizational support, and environmental compatibility. This study recommends a contextualized, participatory, and adaptive digitalization strategy tailored to the characteristics of vocational education and semi-military systems, along with institutional strengthening through training and evidence-based policy development.
