Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

The purpose of this classroom action research (CAR) is to examine the application of the talaqqi method in developing the ability to read the Qur'an of class XI students at MA MDIA Bontoala Makassar. This study used a two-cycle CAR design, involving 35 students as participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation, then analyzed using percentage and average calculations to measure student activity and their learning outcomes. The application of the talaqqi method for two cycles showed a significant increase in students' ability to read the Qur'an. In the early stages (pre-cycle), the average student score was only 48 (less category), with a success rate of 34.28%. After the first cycle, the average score increased to 70.28 (good category), and the success rate reached 68.57%. In the second cycle, the increase continued with an average score of 84.57 (very good category) and a success rate of 85.71%. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the talaqqi method in improving students' ability to read the Qur'an. Substantial improvement from pre-cycle to cycle II shows the feasibility of this method to be applied in improving the quality of learning the Qur'an. Therefore, this study recommends the integration of the talaqqi method more widely into the Qur'an curriculum at MA MDIA Bontoala Makassar and similar schools. Further research can explore the application of this method at various grade levels and levels of education.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi kepala sekolah dalam mengelola konflik internal di lingkungan lembaga pendidikan. Konflik internal yang terjadi di sekolah meliputi konflik antar guru, antara guru dan staf administrasi, serta antara guru dengan kepala sekolah, yang disebabkan oleh perbedaan pendapat, gaya komunikasi, ketimpangan beban kerja, dan kurangnya transparansi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menerapkan berbagai strategi dalam menyelesaikan konflik, seperti komunikasi terbuka, mediasi internal, pemberdayaan tim manajemen, penanaman budaya positif, dan musyawarah dalam pengambilan keputusan. Strategi ini berkontribusi pada terciptanya lingkungan kerja yang harmonis dan peningkatan efektivitas organisasi sekolah. Namun, masih terdapat kendala seperti waktu yang terbatas, keterbukaan individu yang rendah, serta beragamnya karakter warga sekolah yang memerlukan pendekatan yang lebih adaptif. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar kepala sekolah meningkatkan kompetensi kepemimpinan adaptif dan membangun sistem komunikasi yang lebih partisipatif dalam lingkungan sekolah.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan edukatif terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional siswa kelas IV SDN Inpres Oi Tui. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experiment. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 36 siswa yang diberikan perlakuan melalui pembelajaran berbasis permainan edukatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket sosial emosional yang meliputi empat indikator utama: empati, kerja sama, komunikasi, dan pengendalian emosi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase perkembangan sosial emosional siswa mencapai 84,15%, yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Indikator kerja sama menunjukkan skor tertinggi sebesar 86,1%, disusul komunikasi 84,7%, empati 83,6%, dan pengendalian emosi 82,2%. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa permainan edukatif memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan sosial dan emosional siswa, serta dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan demikian, penggunaan permainan edukatif sangat direkomendasikan sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menyenangkan dalam mendukung penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh manajemen laba terhadap kinerja keuangan pada sektor perbankan di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) serta menganalisis peran Good Corporate Governance (GCG) sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatori pada 44 bank selama periode 2021–2023. Manajemen laba diukur dengan nilai absolut Discretionary Accruals menggunakan Modified Jones Model , kinerja keuangan diukur dengan Return on Assets (ROA), dan GCG diukur melalui indeks gabungan proporsi komisaris independen, keberadaan komite audit, dan kepemilikan institusional. Analisis dilakukan dengan regresi data panel model Common Effect dan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) menggunakan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen laba berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap ROA (β = 0,081; p = 0,163). Sebaliknya, GCG terbukti memoderasi hubungan tersebut secara signifikan dengan arah negatif (β = -0,243; p = 0,029), yang menunjukkan bahwa penerapan GCG yang baik dapat meningkatkan pengaruh manajemen laba terhadap profitabilitas bank. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan tata kelola dalam menjaga integritas pelaporan keuangan dan mencegah perilaku oportunistik manajemen.

This study aims to (1) determine the differences in initial reading skills betweenclasses that use flash card media and classes that do not use flash card media inthe Indonesian language subject of class II students at MI Al-Fatah Singkawang,(2) determine how much influence flash card media has on initial reading skills inthe Indonesian language subject of class II students at MI Al-Fatah Singkawang,(3) determine students' responses to the use of flash card media in learningIndonesian language of class II students at MI Al-Fatah Singkawang. This type ofresearch is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalentpre-test and post-test control group design. The population in this study were all 45second-grade students of MI Al-Fatah Singkawang. Sampling in this study usedsaturated samples (total sampling). Data collection techniques in this study weretest and non-test techniques. The data analysis technique used was statisticalanalysis. The results of the study showed that: (1) There were differences in initialreading skills between classes that used flash card media and classes that did notuse flash card media in the Indonesian Language subject for second-gradestudents of MI Al-Fatah Singkawang, (2) The magnitude of the influence of flashcard media on initial reading skills in the Indonesian language subject of class IIstudents of MI Al-Fatah Singkawang. This is proven that the Effect Size is 1.370then ES > 0.8 which means it is included in the High criteria. (3) the studentresponse questionnaire showed a very good response, proven by the results of thepercentage calculation getting 86%.

This study examines the implementation of an Educational Management Information System (EMIS) using the Afresto platform at SMK Negeri 5 Penajam Paser Utara to enhance the quality of educational management. The research is motivated by the school’s need to integrate digital technology into academic, administrative, and service management processes, in line with the demands of the Industrial 4.0 era. A qualitative descriptive method was applied, with data collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that Afresto is effective in managing academic data, streamlining administrative workflows, facilitating information access, and improving reporting accuracy. The main challenges include varying levels of digital literacy among users and limited network infrastructure. In conclusion, Afresto has the potential to serve as an efficient EMIS model, provided it is supported by ongoing training and adequate infrastructure.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada dalamproses pembelajaran seperti kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materisehingga hasil belajar siswa pada kelas I SD menjadi rendah. Rendahnya hasilbelajar siswa ini disebabkan oleh kurang tepatnya pemilihan pendekatan, mediadan metode yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan yang ingindicapai pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatanEtnomatematika terhadap hasil belajar mengenal bangun datar siswa kelas I SDNNgagelrejo 1/396 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitianKuantitatif Eksperimen. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I SDNNgagelrejo 1/396 Surabaya dengan jumlah 50 siswa. metode pengumpulan datayang digunakan adalah Observasi dan Tes Hasil Belajar dengan menggunakanalat penilaian berupa lembar Observasi dan lembar soal Tes Hasil Belajar.Menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik inferesial dengan cara metode analisisstatistik Uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil Paired Samples tes menggunakan aplikasi SPSSVersi 27.0 Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolakdan H1 diterima yang artinya “Ada Pengaruh Pendekatan Etnomatematika RumahAdat Joglo Terhadap Hasil Belajar Mengenal Bangun Datar Siswa Kelas I SDNNgagelrejo Surabaya”

This research is motivated by the low learning interest of fifth-grade elementary school students in art lessons, specifically on the topic of recognizing various decorative patterns (ragam hias) from different regions of Indonesia. This issue is attributed to a lack of innovation in the teaching process, including the use of conventional learning media that relies solely on textbooks. The aim of this study is to develop interactive multimedia based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to increase students’ learning interest in art subjects in fifth grade. To address this issue, the study employs a Design and Development method using the PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation) development model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and student learning interest questionnaires, and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The product developed is an interactive multimedia tool that presents materials on traditional decorative patterns from various regions of Indonesia, structured according to the PBL syntax. Expert validation results indicate that the media is classified as "highly feasible" for use in learning, while the student learning interest questionnaire results show a significant increase, falling into the "high" category. Thus, this PBL-based interactive multimedia is effective in enhancing the learning interest of fifth-grade elementary school students in art education.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted various sectors of life, including basic education. The transition from face-to-face learning to distance learning (DL) has brought about numerous challenges, especially at the elementary school level where students highly depend on direct guidance. This study aims to identify the problems and solutions that emerged in elementary school learning during the pandemic. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method. Data were obtained from various scientific articles, national journals, and relevant research reports published within the last five years. The data were analyzed descriptively by grouping them into key thematic categories. The results show that the main problems faced in elementary school learning during the COVID- 19 pandemic include: (1) limited technology and infrastructure, (2) lack of digital competence among teachers and students, (3) low parental support and involvement, (4) decreased student motivation and independence, (5) limited interaction and learning approach, and (6) difficulty in assessment and learning supervision. The identified solutions include the use of simple and accessible learning media, digital literacy training for teachers, strengthening communication with parents, implementation of enjoyable and contextual learning methods, and the development of alternative assessment strategies. This study is expected to serve as a reference for teachers, schools, and policymakers in designing more adaptive learning strategies, and also as a foundation for further research on similar topics.

In the era of globalization and rapid technological development, the world of education faces increasingly complex challenges. Teachers are not only required to master learning materials, but also be able to adapt to changes, utilize technology, and form competitive student characters. In this case, the principal has a strategic role as an education leader, especially in creating a work environment that supports and motivates teachers to achieve optimal performance. The teacher's work motivation itself is a psychological factor that affects the success of the teaching and learning process. This study aims to analyze the influence of school principals' leadership on teacher performance by considering the mediating role of work motivation in elementary schools in Tengaran District, Semarang Regency. The quantitative approach is used through path analysis to see the direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results of the study show that the leadership of school principals has a significant effect on work motivation and directly also on teacher performance. Teachers' work motivation also contributes significantly to performance, as well as mediating the influence of the principal's leadership on performance with a total influence of 0.723. These findings confirm the importance of effective leadership and high motivation in improving teacher performance. This research provides implications for education policymakers and school principals to develop transformative leadership and strategies to increase work motivation, in order to encourage the achievement of optimal teacher performance and improve the quality of basic education.
