Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning media based on the traditional house of Uma Lengge to enhance students’ creativity in visual arts learning for fifth-grade students at SDN Risa. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The trial subjects were 17 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through pretest and posttest, as well as student response questionnaires. The results indicated an increase in the average score from 49.1 in the pretest to 80.2 in the posttest, with a difference of 31.1 points, indicating the effectiveness of the media. Student responses to the media achieved an average score of 3.76 (“Very Good” category), showing that this media is attractive, easy to use, and encourages active engagement in learning. The Uma Lengge media not only helps students understand visual arts material more concretely but also strengthens the connection between learning and local culture, creating a contextual and meaningful learning experience. This study recommends the use of local wisdom-based media as an innovative alternative in visual arts learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Articulate Storyline 3-based learning media on students' learning motivation in seventh-grade computer system material in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subject. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, involving 20 students as the sample. The research instruments consisted of pretest, posttest, motivation questionnaires, and observation sheets. The results showed an increase in the average score from 52.25 (pretest) to 80.00 (posttest), with an N-Gain score of 0.58 categorized as moderate. The paired sample t-test indicated a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning there was a significant difference between students' scores before and after using the media. The motivation questionnaire also revealed an increase in all indicators, including learning enthusiasm, engagement, and interest in the material. Thus, the Articulate Storyline 3-based learning media was proven effective in enhancing students' learning motivation and outcomes in ICT learning. This media serves as an innovative learning solution that presents abstract material in a more visual, interactive, and engaging way, making it highly recommended for digital-based learning in junior high schools.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze: 1) the influence of persistence in studying on learning motivation, 2) the influence of emotional intelligence on learning motivation, 3) the influence of parental attention on learning motivation, 4) the influence of peer learning on learning motivation, 5) the influence of learning independence on learning motivation. The type of research used in this research is associative research. When this research was conducted in July 2025. The population in this research was all class x students in economics subjects at SMAN 1 Sitiung. The sample in this study was 149 people. The sampling technique was Random Sampling and the data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis and inductive analysis, with the help of the Eviews and SPSS version 21.0 programs. The results of the research show that 1) there is an influence of study persistence on learning motivation with a coefficient value of - 0.418 with a calculated t value > t table (-5.064 <1.65558) and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, 2) the influence of emotional intelligence on learning motivation with a coefficient value of 0.343 with a calculated t value < t table (3.229 > 1.65558) and a significant value of 0.002 > 0.05, 3) the influence of parental attention on learning motivation with a coefficient value of -0.354 with a calculated t value > t table (-0.458 <1.65558) and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, 4) the influence of peers studying on learning motivation with a coefficient value of 0.406 with a calculated t value < t table (4.317 < 1.65558) and a significant value of 0.000 > 0.05, 5) the influence of learning independence on learning motivation with a coefficient value of -0.094 with a calculated t value > t table (-1.109 > 1.65558) and a significant value of 0.269 < 0.05.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to increase student activity through the application of the learning model.Problem Based Learning on the Pancasila Education subject in class XI TBKR 2 SMKN 1 Selong. This study used Classroom Action Research. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were Qualitative and Quantitative Approaches. This research was conducted in two cycles and through the application of the modelProblem Based Learningto achieve the desired success target. The results of this study indicate that in Cycle I the implementation of learning showed a figure of 66.6% then increased in Cycle II to 88.8%. Meanwhile, student activity in Cycle I reached 50% then increased in Cycle II to 87.5%. With these results, it can be said that the Classroom Action Research conducted successfully met the success indicator of 80%.

Abstract

The main objective of the researcher is to find out how the design of the development of the "PAPEPENG" (Addition and subtraction board) media for mathematics subjects, addition and subtraction material is reviewed from the validity of media experts, linguists, and material experts. The type of research is research and development of the 4D development model consisting of four stages of research, namely: 1) Definition; 2) Design; 3) Development; 4) Distribution. Data collection instruments are validation sheets and Lkpd. This research was conducted in class 1 of SD INP 49 Pasanggrahan. The validation results obtained from media experts were 96% in the very good category, reviewed from the Papepeng learning media for mathematics subjects to attract students' attention and as a medium that can be used repeatedly in learning. The validation results from linguists were 98% and the validation results from material experts were 94% in the very good category reviewed from examples of simple material presentations and in accordance with the curriculum. Furthermore, the results of the limited trial Lkpd distributed to students with the lowest score 1, the highest score 5, the distribution of scores shows that there are several levels measured by Lkpd. And the results of the trial use were distributed to students with the lowest score 1, the highest score 12, the distribution of scores showed that there were differences in the levels measured by the Lkpd. Based on the validation results of media experts, language experts, material experts, Lkpd limited trials, namely trials at the beginning using media as examples and trial use, namely trials using media that were made, then the Papepeng learning media for mathematics subjects was declared very good because by using physical Papepeng media it could help students easily understand the explanations given and was interesting to use during the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model based on Nguda Kaca local wisdom on improving students' critical thinking skills in IPAS subjects at SDN 1 Tolowata. The research method used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving 26 fourth-grade students divided into two groups. The experimental group received CTL-based learning rooted in Nguda Kaca local wisdom, while the control group used conventional teaching methods. The research instrument consisted of a critical thinking skills test covering indicators such as identifying problems, analyzing arguments, evaluating evidence, drawing conclusions, and reflecting on thoughts. The data were analyzed using a Paired Sample t-test with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the experimental group experienced an average score increase of 30.0 points (60.8%) from 49.3 to 79.3, while the control group only increased by 10.5 points (23.2%) from 45.3 to 55.8. The hypothesis test yielded a t-value of 18.456 with significance of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a highly significant difference. An effect size of 2.84 indicates a very large effect. This study proves that the CTL learning model based on Nguda Kaca local wisdom is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and can be used as a meaningful contextual learning alternative in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil pengamatan peneliti diketahui bahwa siswa belum aktif dalam pembelajaran karena belum adanya penggunaan media yang sesuai. Selain hal itu, siswa juga belum memahami materi tentang ciri-ciri bangun datar yang mengakibatkan hasil belajar siwa masih dibawah KKTP. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengembangkan media pembelajaran MOBADA (Monopoli Bangun Datar) berbasis game edukasi yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri berbagai bentuk bangun datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian R&D dengan model ADDIE. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 25 siswa di SDN 1 Kepel Kabupaten Nganjuk. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan (1) Uji kevalidan (angket validasi ahli media dan materi). (2) Uji kepraktisan (angket respon guru dan siswa). (3) Uji keefektifan (pre test dan post test). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media MOBADA mendapatkan nilai validasi dari ahli media sebesar 91,66 %, sedangkan hasil nilai dari ahli materi sebesar 86,66 %. Media MOBADA yang telah dikembangkan mendapatkan nilai kepraktisan media sehingga mendapatkan nilai akhir sebesar 92,015 %, sehingga dapat dikategorikan sangat praktis. Media MOBADA yang telah dikembangkan mendapatkan nilai hasil kefektifan berdasarkan ketuntasan secara kalsikal sebesar 100% dengan kriteria sangat efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the political participation of WSSW students from North Sumatra Batak Toba in the 2024 presidential election. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation of 50 student respondents. The results showed that the level of student political participation was still low, only 11 people (22%) of respondents used their voting rights and 39 people (78%) did not use their voting rights in the 2024 presidential election. Internal factors that influence political participation include political knowledge, individual interests, and political awareness. Meanwhile, external factors that influence are the friendship environment, social media, and socialization of presidential elections from the campus. Internal factors such as political awareness and knowledge, as well as external factors such as social environment and election socialization, encourage students to participate more. In contrast, individual interests and the friendship environment are the main factors for students to participate. This study recommends the need for increased socialization, political education, and social environmental support to increase student political participation in the next election.

Abstract

The advancement of technology in the modern era brings new challenges for the world of education, including the demand on educational institutions to prepare students to be independent and ready to face the dynamics of modern life. Life Skills education becomes an important solution in shaping individuals who are able to adapt and compete in the midst of a complex society. This research aims to identify the content of life skills material and describe the implementation of its learning at SDIT Nurul Fikri Sidoarjo, which applies a full day school-based education model. The research approach used is qualitative with descriptive analysis methods. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving 4th-grade students, homeroom teachers, and the school principal as the main informants. Life Skills learning at this school covers the development of personal, social, intellectual, and vocational skills. The implementation of learning is carried out through a curriculum that is integrated with the daily activities of students. The research findings indicate that planning is a crucial stage in the implementation of Life Skill learning, considering that this curriculum is a unique feature of the school, independently developed by an internal team. The implementation of the program aligns with the initial plans, with materials adapted to each grade level, and several Life Skill activities integrated with other subjects to optimize time efficiency. Evaluation is conducted directly during the activities and is followed up with take-home assignments documented through photos, videos, and parental verification. This approach aims to ensure that Life Skill competencies continue to be practiced and applied by students in their home environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital learning medium in the form of an interactive flip book titled “Dunia-Kita”, designed to improve the literacy of third-grade elementary students in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). The research used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. The study involved 10 students in a limited trial and 20 students in a field trial. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and tests. Validation results showed the media scored 92% from a media expert and 98% from a content expert, both categorized as “very feasible.” Practicality was measured with teacher responses scoring 88% and student responses 91%, indicating the media is “very practical.” Effectiveness was measured using pretest and posttest. In the limited trial, scores increased from 57.7% to 86.4% (a 28.7% improvement), and in the field trial from 55.1% to 93% (a 37.9% improvement). These results indicate a significant increase in student literacy. In conclusion, the “Dunia-Kita” flip book is considered feasible, practical, and effective for enhancing literacy in IPAS learning for third-grade students.
