Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of the model-based Discovery Learning etnomatematika toward critical thinking ability in mathematics of fourth grade students of SDN Force 10 Bengkulu City. This research is quantitative. The method used is quasy experiment with the research design matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling. The population in this study is that SDN Force 10 fourth grade students at SDN 58 for grade control and fourth grade students at SDN 38 for the experimental class. The instrument used in this study is the critical thinking skills test sheet in the form of a description, amounting to 5 questions. Making the test twice, ie before and after the learning took place in the experimental class and control. Based on the calculation of the t-test posttest results of students, where thitung =2,10 and ttabel = 2.00. Because thitung > tabel, show that there are differences in resultsposttest between the experimental class and control class. The conclusion of this studythere is a significant effect of useetnomatematika discovery learning models based on critical thinking skills in mathematicsstudents of SDN 10 Bengkulu City Cluster.

Abstract

This research aims to analyzed comparison the outcomes cognitif learning use Picture And Picture  learning model with Examples Non Examples learning model. This type of research is a quantitative research. The research design used was Quasi Experimental Design with design type The Matching Pretest-Posttest Comparison Group Design. The test is done twice before and after giving treatment (treatment) in the class. The subjeck in this study is divided into two groups: students of class IV A  in SDN 76 Kota Bengkulu as a experimental  group 1 and students of class IV B at SDN 76 Kota Bengkulu as experimental group 2. The research instrument used is a learning result test with multiple choice questions given through pretest before the learning takes place and posttest after the learning takes place. Data of this research are analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis that is t-test (independent sample t-test). Data of research result which is processed by using t test obtained t hitung equal to 2,34 and ttabel value equal to 1,667. Systematically seen thitung 2,34 > ttabel 1.667 at 5% significant level, This shows that there are differences in learning outcomes between students taught by using pictures and pictures learning model with examples non examples learning model. then the average of the result study of Picture and Picture learning model was (68,22) and Example Non Example was (58,03).The concluded that the Picture and Picture learning model more effective to highest students result study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Concept Mapping applied to the Problem Based Learning model of critical thinking skills of students of science class V SD Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative research. The type of research used is quasi experimental research with the design of The Matching-Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study is all students of grade V SD Bengkulu City. The sampling technique used Two Stage Random Sampling so as to obtain the class VA SDN 41 Bengkulu City as the experimental class and class VB SDN 82 Bengkulu City as the control class. The research instrument is a critical thinking skill test which is about essay given through pretest and posttest. Based on the hypothesis test using t-test of two independent samples, obtained tcount (2.95) > ttable (1.67) at 5% significant level, it can be concluded that there is influence of Concept Mapping usage applied in Problem Based Learning model to ability critical thinking students of science class V SD Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences of mathematical thinking skills between students who use wingeom software media and manipulative media in the fifth grade elementary school mathematics learning in the XIV group of Bengkulu City. This research is quantitative research. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest comparation group design. The population in this study were all fifth grade elementary school students in group XIV of Bengkulu City. The sample is a fifth grade student of SDN gugus XIV Bengkulu City, which is a state school. The sampling technique uses purposive random sampling. The drawing results obtained by the sample were students of VC class SDN 42 Bengkulu City, amounting to 23 students into the experimental class I and class VA SDN 45 Bengkulu City, amounting to 25 students into the experimental class II. The research instrument used a test in the form of a description question that given through pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique in this study is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, namely the t-test. Data from the research results processed using the t-test by looking at the gain values ​​obtained, by the value of tcount of 2.25 and the value of ttable of 2.01. Statistically, there are tcount (2.25)> ttable (2.01) at a significant level of 5%, it can be concluded that there are differences of mathematical thinking skills between students using manipulative media and wingeom software media in mathematics learning in class V SD XIV group of Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics teaching materials using theapproach Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)to build an understanding of the fourth grade mathematics concept in elementary schools as a reference material for students. This study Research and Development (R & D) modifies the ADDIE model. In this research, only up to thestage Deveploment (Development). Validation is carried out by material experts, design experts, and linguists. Teaching materials products that have been validated are given to fourth grade teachers of SD Negeri Bengkulu City to get responses. There are two data analysis techniques in this study, namely qualitative descriptive statistical analysis of input, comments, and suggestions from expert validation sheets and teacher response questionnaires, and analysis. descriptive statistics on scores from the results of expert validation and teacher responses. This study produces mathematics teaching materials based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) to build an understanding of mathematical concepts with expert validation assessments of 93.74 with very valid categories, design expert validation of 95 in very valid category, validation of linguists of 89.28 with very valid category, and teacher responses of 89 with very valid category as the final product of development. The conclusion of this research is that the product of developing mathematics teaching materials based on Realistic Mathematics Education is valid and suitable to be used to build an understanding of mathematics concepts in grade IV elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of applying the regular model of scouting education (x) with students' cognitive learning outcomes (y) at sd negeri 01 kota bengkulu. This type of research is quantitative research. The population of this study amounted to 41 student scout members who followed the regular model of sampling total sampling technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, recapitulation of weekly repeat values ​​in cognitive and documentation aspects. Research instruments were tested using validity and reliability. While prerequisite analysis test using normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. Data analysis technique is done by using "product moment correlation" formula. This technique is used to determine the significance of independent variable relation and dependent variable by rhitung count with rtabel with 5% significant level. Based on the results of data analysis diproleh value rhitung = > 0.698 rtabel = 0.308 which means there is a relationship of the regular modeling modeling of scouting education with students' cognitive learning outcomes with very strong interpretation. Furthermore, from the significance test results obtained t count 6.087 ≥ ttabel = 1.664 which means there is a significant relationship between variables, with a contribution of 48.72% between the application of regular model of scouting education with cognitive learning outcomes of elementary school students 01 kota bengkulu. Based on this, it can be concluded that ha accepted, where there is a relationship of application of regular model of scouting education with cognitive learning outcomes at state elementary school 01 kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activities and student learning outcomes by applying the guided inquiry model using nail board media in class IV B, 44 SDN Bengkulu. The research subjects were teachers and students of class IV B SDN 44 Bengkulu. The research instruments were in the form of observation sheets and test sheets. The test data analysis technique uses the average value formula and the percentage of classical learning completeness. Observation data were analyzed using the average score formula, highest score, lowest score, difference in score and range of values ​​for each criterion. The results of the average teacher activity cycle I obtained 32.25 second cycle obtained 40.25. The activity of the first cycle students got an average of 34.75 and the second cycle was obtained at 40.75. While for the average student learning outcomes for the knowledge aspects of the first cycle 78.92 with classical learning completeness 67.86% and the second cycle 83.66 with classical learning completeness 85.71%. Meticulous attitude aspect average score of cycle I 2.46, cycle II 3.01, self-confidence attitude cycle I 2.53 cycle II 3.12, discipline attitude cycle I 2.85 cycle II 3.19, and attitude of wanting know cycle I 2.73 cycle II 3, 44. Aspects of skills using the formula cycle I 2.55 cycle II 3.24, skilled at making, cycle I 2.51 cycle II 3.3, skilled in using the media cycle I 2.65 cycles II 3.22, skilled at showing the results of the first cycle 2.76 second cycle 3.3. Thus, the application of a guided inquiry model using nail board media can improve the activities and student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning in class IV B of the 44 SDN Bengkulu.

Abstract

This Study aims to determine the application of the Think Talk write model using the media series on the writing material narrative essay in CLASS VI B SDN 17 Bengkulu in Indonesian subjects. This research aims to increase activities and capabilities with the implementation of the Think Talk Write model using the Media series image in class VI B SDN 17 Bengkulu. This research is class action research. The research subject is teacher and student of class VI B SDN 17 Bengkulu City. Research instruments in the form of observation sheets and test sheets. The test data analysis technique uses the average formula value and percentage of the classical learning submission. Observation Data is analyzed using average formula score, highest score, lowest score, score difference and value range for each criterion. Results of the average teacher activity cycle I acquired 32.25 Cycles II acquired 40.25. The student activity of cycle I got an average of 34.75 and cycle II gained 40.75, while for the ability to compose a narrative of students at cycle I with an average of 74.6 and a classical learning submission of 60%. and cycle II with an average of 80.55 with a classical study of the classic, 90%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of Model learning Think Talk Write using the Media Image series can increase the activity and ability of writing narrative essay in class VI B SDN 17 Bengkulu City ".

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of models role playing on the results of social studies learning in fifth grade students of Elementary School Group XIII Bengkulu City. This research is quantitative research. The research used was a quasy experiment with a matching only pretest-posttest control group design study design. The population in this study was SD Cluster XIII Bengkulu City. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The sample in this study was elementary school with B accreditation and KTSP curriculum. Class V at SDN 77 with students as many as 32 students as the experimental class and class V at SDN 83 with students as many as 30 students as the control class. The instrument used is a multiple choice test sheet.. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis, prerequisite test analysis, and hypothesis test analysis. From the results of the study it is known that the results of the t-test obtained by tcount 1.850> t table 1.673. So, the conclusion is that there is an influence of discovery learning through media images on the results of social studies learning in fifth grade students of Elementary School Group XIII Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze the effect of Picture and picture learning model towardstudents' writing poetry skill in 5th class of elementary school in Bengkulu City. This researchwas Quantitative reseacrh. The method used was quasi-experimental and the design wasmatching only posttest control group. The population of this research was 5th class of all elementary school in Bengkulu city whereas the sample was class V of elementary School No 51 was the control class. Both classes used School Based Curriculum (KTSP) and obtain accreditation A. The technique of sampling was stratified sampling. The instrument used wasessay posttest for both control and experimental class. The data of the research was analyzed byusing descriptive analysis, prerequisite test and t test. The result of the research was found that the average score of posttest of the control class was 75,41 and the average score of posttest of the experimental class was 83,18. The result of the t test was found that the t count about 2,02. So, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This result showed that there was the effect of Picture andPicture model learning toward students’ writing poetry skill in 5th Class of elementary school inBengkulu City.
