Abstract

Public relations campaign not only focusing on using the media, but focus on creative approaching to packing communication strategy through the social media content. In this research, specifically discussed about local brand skincare with campaign that use hashtag and utilitarian value. This research aim to understand perception of utilitarian value to intention to use hashtag public relations campaign with survey on local skincare namely NPure. Methodology that were used in this research are quantitative with purposive sampling as the technique. Population in this research are NPure consumers and set the criteria which are social media active user, following NPure social media account, and know about Npure hashtag. Be appointed 100 respondents as a represent sample. Research data are collected with online survey and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. Result of this research pointing that utilitarian value take positive effect to intention to use hashtag. According to the result, then NPure as a local skincare brand can use campaign #GenerasiKulitSehat and #NPure as a movement that can consistency used as in accordance influence of utilitarian value that were used by its consumers.

Abstract

Children become one of susceptible groups who get the risks during pandemic period. The risks can be the threat of exposure up to losing their parents who passed away because of Covid-19. The children who lose their parents due to Covid-19 are susceptible to have the problems of health, economy, education guarantee, violence, and other human rights violations. They need social protection to help their growth and development into adulthood. The purpose of this writing is to describe the social condition and the problems of children who become the Covid-19 pandemic victims. They are fatherless kids, motherless children, or orphans whose parents passed away because of Covid-19. This research uses a quantitative research method (survey). The research data are taken by using questionnaires. The samples of this research are 124 or 32% of the children’s total number in Purbalingga Regency whose parents passed away due to Covid-19. The data are presented by using a frequency distributive table. The results show that most of the children are from the lower middle class family. After their parents passed away, the social economy condition of their family gets worse. It causes those children to face economic issues, so they are not able to pay their school fee. Therefore, there must be a social protection for them so that their rights as children are fulfilled.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of environmental damage that hurts people's lives. The increasingly massive use of nature causes environmental damage that has the potential to disrupt the lives of local people. There are many practices of extracting Natural Resources without taking into account the plight of the local population. People's lives are disrupted so that the right to live in a safe environment is not fully enjoyed. Ecological rights that are naturally embedded in the community then do not find their fulfillment. Against this fact, the study of ecological rights based on Fleet Riyanto's thoughts will be described in this research. The results of this study reveal that local people are subjects who are commensurate, equal, and dignified with everyone. This study uses a literature study method by tracing the scientific literature and digging up facts from newspapers. Relational philosophy of Armada Riyanto will present a perspective that focuses on people or communities whose rights are being ignored. The fruits of his thoughts will at the same time become a scalpel to resolve the ecological rights issues that occur. The goal to be achieved is to find the true existence of the community whose ecological rights are being ignored. The fullness of its existence occurs when its ecological rights are well guaranteed as experienced by other people in general. They are human beings who naturally want their ecological rights to be fulfilled.

Abstract

The purpose of the researchers was to find out whether self-compassion and self-esteem among inmates at Detention X. Researchers compared and identified the levels of self-compassion and self-esteem according to demographic data. The research sample was 145 male prisoners in prison. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. The results of this study show that 18.7% of the sample is in low self-compassion and 30.35% of the sample is in the low self-esteem category. The results of the correlation analysis carried out in knowing the relationship of the two research variables is that there is a negative relationship between self-compassion and self-esteem. Self-compassion and self-esteem in prisoners with different forms of study so that the components seen correspond to the aspects in these variables. This study concluded that research respondents showed self-compassion and self-esteem had a negative relationship. In practical terms, the implications of this research can be used as an initial process to find out the description of the situation of prisoners in prisons.

Abstract

The background of this research is to review the interests of second-level students of the Societas Maria Montfortana (SMM) congregation when visiting the Widya Sasana School of Philosophy of Theology (STFT) library. The goal to be achieved is to find out to what extent second-level students of the SMM congregation have an interest in visiting the STFT Widya Sasana library. The interest of the second year students of the SMM congregation was seen based on the frequency of visiting the library. The research method used here is a quantitative research method in the form of an ordinal questionnaire given to second year students of the SMM congregation. This questionnaire technique helps to obtain research data that will be measured numerically. The results of this study will reveal that the activeness of visiting the STFT Widya Sasana library is proof that second-level students of the SMM congregation have an interest in visiting the STFT Widya Sasana library.

Abstract

Bakar Batu is a deep culture folklore people in the central highlands of Papua who are firmly rooted in oral traditions. Bakar Batu has its own uniqueness because of the value content in it and how the local people live it. However, local people often see Bakar Batu only as a local tradition activity without ever knowing the value content in it, this has resulted in local people and this century's generation tending to be unable to see the value content in Bakar Batu, local cultural segregation occurs in the inability to read narratives local cultural values. This research aims to reveal the value and function contained in Bakar Batu in relation to strengthening inter-ethnic relations in the interior of the central mountains of Papua. This study will use ethnographic methods with a qualitative approach. Sources of data obtained through observation, interviews and literature review, the results of the discussion show that Bakar Baku has a complex value content that is a cultural representation of local communities and also immigrant communities formed from a process of learning together. So it can be concluded that Bakar Batu has a philosophical understanding and meaning about coexistence which is revived through oral tradition. Bakar Batu has economic, religious, political and social functions in the social order of the local community which strengthens shared identity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the USAID IUWASH PLUS 2021 water and sanitation program development assistance in Indonesia. Due to the clean water and sanitation problems in Indonesia, the United States government, through USAID, distributes aid in the form of grants. This research applies a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The collected data were analyzed using the concepts of foreign aid and aid effectiveness. The results of this study found that the authors linked the principles contained in the Paris Declaration such as the principle of ownership, the principle of local harmony, the principle of harmonization, the principle of management and the principle of shared responsibility. The USAID IUWASH PLUS program is effective in improving water and sanitation services in Indonesia, referring to the results published by USAID in the February 2022 Final Report.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify vulnerable community groups and map the interests of stakeholders in the area of operation of PT Antan Tbk UBPN Sultra. This study was conducted in Pomalaa District, through a mixed method approach that combines quantitative data analysis methods. Because this study uses a mixed method approach, the informant is used as a source of data in a qualitative approach. The determination of informants is done by snowball sampling method. Meanwhile, the probability sampling technique is used for the quantitative approach. Proportional cluster sampling is a form of probability sampling that is used, and the way it works is by identifying in advance the groups that represent the population. Information collected through the results of field research, both primary data and secondary data. The results show that the vulnerable groups in the company's operational areas were pre-prosperous families (poor families), the elderly, people with disabilities, and the mentally handicapped (physical, speech and hearing impaired, mental, and blind). Pre-prosperous families (poor families) are the highest vulnerable group, reaching 2,152 people out of 30,680 residents of Pomalaa Subdistrict. Meanwhile, stakeholders that influence the success of company programs in Pomalaa Subdistrict are the village head, village secretary, head of Bumdes, traditional leaders, women leaders, religious leaders (Islamic and Christian), and community leaders.

Abstract

The procession of the Javanese wedding ceremony ceremony in Surakarta is a cultural heritage from the palace which until now has maintained its existence, has its own uniqueness and characteristics that other regions do not have. This study aims to describe and analyze the internalization of the noble values of local wisdom through the procession of Javanese wedding customs in Surakarta City after the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were collected using a qualitative descriptive method through participatory observational interviews with informants. by involving senior makeup artists, users of customs. The results of the study show that the procession of the wedding ceremony of Javanese Surakarta wedding customs through a series of preparations, core, and plenary. Each stage of the procession has values and meanings contained in symbols including: religious, social and personal values. The conclusion is that the procession of the Javanese Surakarta wedding ceremony is carried out in a coherent manner, which is passed step by step. Each stage of the procession has a noble value and meaning contained in the symbol as a guide in building a household.

Abstract

This research tries to completely describe the Mayor of Jayapura's call about the draft regional ordinance on the usage of Noken as an alternative to plastic bags at Jayapura City shopping facilities. It is a qualitative study using the social phenomenology paradigm, involving passive participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. It employs Miles and Huberman's flowchart analysis tools. The Mayor's request for the use of Noken bags in shopping decreases the impact of using plastic bags, which are difficult to degrade with soil in a short period of time. The use of the Noken bag also introduces Papuan culture, which has a straightforward and straightforward philosophy. Rational action in the form of an appeal from the Mayor of Jayapura is looked for, in anticipating the problem of plastic trash that is difficult to degrade by soil and minimizing the accumulation of plastic garbage in rivers in the city of Jayapura, which results in annual flooding. The application of Noken, which sets aims and behaviors through norms, has a philosophical connotation that lies beneath Papuans' common understanding, namely simplicity and transparency. Noken establishes a positive relationship between symbolic arrangements in Papuan society, displaying the forms and patterns of life of the Papuan people, particularly in the city of Jayapura, which reflects the meaning of the simple Papuan people and their openness to others in preserving Papuan culture.
