Abstract

The availability of medicines in hospitals is very important for patient survival, this is because almost 90% of health service interventions in hospitals depend on the use of medicines. The occurrence of medicine shortages, stockpiles that have accumulated, expiration will have an impact medically and economically. Things like this require efficient and effective medicine management efforts through a management system. The purpose of this study was to determine drug logistics management in hospitals starting from the input, process, and output stages at the pharmacy installation at Malinau Hospital. The reason for choosing this location is because the availability of medicines is a variable that has a significant satisfaction score, it is necessary to carry out an analysis of drug logistics management to ensure this. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a management system theory approach based on data obtained from 6 research informants, consisting of the head of the pharmacy installation, coordinator of inpatient pharmacist, coordinator of outpatient pharmacy services, the person in charge of pharmacy warehouse, and 2 warehouse staff pharmacies. Based on the input stage in the form of the availability of pharmaceutical human resources, it is sufficient, the budget using APBD and BLUD is sufficient. The stages of the process consisting of planning needs, medicine procurement, and medicine distribution have been carried out properly. As for the storage and disposal of medicines, management is still found to be ineffective and efficient. At the output stage, the availability of medicines has not been carried out properly, because there are still empty medicine stocks and expired medicines have been found piled up in warehouses that have not been destroyed. Thus it is suggested that the pharmaceutical installation at Malinau Hospital pay more attention to the medicine logistics management system so that it is more effective and efficient. Thus it is suggested that the pharmaceutical installation at Malinau Hospital pay more attention to the medicine logistics management system, especially regarding the quantity and quality of human resources and infrastructure to be further improved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Village Dayak women in preserving ikat in the village of Tapang Sambas – Tapang Kemayau, Sekadau District, West Kalimantan. This research is a qualitative research, namely a study where the data is not in the form of numbers and usually emphasizes understanding and interpreting the meaning of an interaction event of human behavior. The type of research used is the type of case study. The sampling technique is using snowball sampling. Based on the results of the research it is known that the role of women in preserving the Dayak Ikat weaving, starting from the initial process of rolling the thread until it is finished being a cloth, only women weave the cloth because in general men are not allowed to participate in weaving because there are prohibitions and restrictions that must be obeyed. We can already see the participation and involvement of weavers in efforts to preserve this Dayak woven fabric. Weaving craftsmen are active in participating in training activities, cultural performances and cultural exhibitions. The philosophical values offered in this weaving tradition can be seen in the spirit of mutual cooperation and solidarity among Dayak Desa women.

Abstract

The human resource factor as an implementing element really needs attention, because employees are the main element of the state apparatus which carries out government tasks in order to achieve national goals. However, it is still found that the performance of government agencies needs improvement, such as the Malinau Regency National Unity and Political Agency. This research will analyze seven employee performance indicators and the efforts that have been made to improve employee performance. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques based on the results of interviews, observations and documentation as primary data. Furthermore, secondary data comes from scientific journals accessed online and books related to employee performance management. The data obtained was studied based on employee performance management theory which is based on seven performance indicators. The research results found that the performance analysis was as follows: (1) the elements have attempted to realize governance that is oriented towards public services; (2) elements of employee targets by understanding and implementing basic tasks and functions; (3) standard elements with employee performance targets; and (4) and the element of feedback through staff review instruments. These four elements have been implemented well. As for other elements; (5) tools/facilities are not yet adequate due to limited means of transportation; (6) the competency element is still dominated by employees with elementary-high school graduates as much as 55%; and (7) the element of employee motive because they are comfortable with the status of a civil servant, and opportunities for advancement in their career path are still minimal. It can be said that this has not been implemented well. This has an impact on the lack of performance innovation and employee career paths which are still static. Efforts have been made to increase employee competency through study permits for higher education, technical guidance, training, preparation of coordination meeting schedules, assessments in each regional organization as well as exemplary employees, and cooperation between agencies.

Abstract

This research explores the Baduy community in Kanekes, a traditional Sundanese community in the Kendeng Mountains region of South Banten. The Baduy community possesses distinct cultures, traditions, and social systems from the majority in their vicinity, adhering to inherited rules and norms. The study aims to investigate the Baduy community's understanding of conflicts and how they resolve conflicts based on their customary rules. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, collecting data through questionnaires and structured interviews from 10 respondents within the outer Baduy community. The results show that the Baduy community possesses a sound understanding of conflicts, views conflicts as part of life, and tends to resolve them peacefully based on cultural values and customary norms. The conflicts that arise encompass romantic conflicts, psychological conflicts, conflicts with modern culture, and conflicts related to natural resources. The effectiveness of traditional conflict resolution is evident in the Baduy community's ability to maintain peace, utilize customary values as guidelines, and leverage the crucial role of traditional leaders in mediating and resolving conflicts. The Baduy community remains steadfast in their adherence to customary values in facing challenges of social change and the environment to preserve their unique culture and traditions. In-depth understanding of conflicts and the resolution methods used by the Baduy community provides valuable insights to support cultural preservation and effective conflict resolution within this community.

Abstract

Coexisting activities between companies in the community do not necessarily provide a positive relationship with the community.  Conflict is something that occurs between communities and companies, especially in this area conflicts have occurred chronically from the 1980s to 2022.  The importance of the role of local governments to resolve existing conflicts. Resolving protracted agrarian conflicts requires joint efforts from all parties involved, as well as a commitment to finding just and sustainable solutions. This study aims to determine the role of local governments in the process of resolving conflicts between indigenous peoples and companies and find out what ways certain parties can do outside of the role of local governments in helping to resolve social conflicts in Tulang Bawang Barat Regency, Lampung Province. This research is with a qualitative descriptive approach, with interviews, FGDs, and documentation.  The results showed that the government has played a good role in the existing conflict resolution process, the government has carried out a mediation and facilitator in efforts to dialogue and negotiation between the two parties in reaching conflict resolution. On the other hand, the recommendation efforts that arise from the existence of FGD to resolve conflicts are the improvement of human resources of both parties, the optimization of the role of stakeholders, especially the role of local governments, and the legal realm of the role of the judiciary is the end of all existing conflict resolution processes. The conclusion in this study is that mediators and facilitators are roles that have been given by local governments to resolve conflicts that occur.  The FGD activities carried out provide recommendations for conflict resolution strategies that will be submitted to the community and companies.

Abstract

In the history of Islamic development in Lombok, texts, cultures and prophecies played a significant role in the growth of environmentally friendly Islam. Religious texts, as well as sources from the Ancient Scriptures, or from the yellow books, are continuously read in some villages in Lombok. In Lombok, these two types of texts are still read and are sources of witness to local religious figures, such as Kyai and Ustadz, in Bayan and Sembalun. Among the texts read are Qashais al-Anbiya, Kitab of Fikih and the Kitab of Imam Shafi. As a village that still applies the customs and traditions of the Sasaks, Bayan and Sembalun synergize elements in the tradition with the teachings in Islam holistically. To find a form of synergy between the two, a method of dermatological research with an ethnographic approach was chosen to be used in this study. The ethnographic approach itself is a type of approach that finds in-depth data through the process of engaging observations and in- depth interviews. The leaders of Adi, Kyai, Ustad and the villagers were observed and interviewed to learn about the religious texts and the development of religious environments in Bayan and Sembalun.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the barriers and challenges faced by vulnerable community groups in adopting digital technology. Vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, people with disabilities and rural communities, often encounter obstacles in harnessing the potential of digital technology in their daily lives. This research employs a qualitative method, involving in-depth interviews and secondary data analysis, to explore accessibility barriers, low digital literacy, as well as security and privacy issues faced by these vulnerable groups. Furthermore, the research also delves into their expectations for digital technology, such as access to information, economic empowerment, and better social connections. The findings of this research indicate that collective efforts from the government, private sector, non-profit organizations, and civil society are crucial to address these barriers and create greater digital inclusion. Digital inclusion is considered a key factor in building a fairer and more sustainable society in this digital era.

Abstract

This research is based on a brief explanation of Indonesian Open University which is known as a pioneer of distance education, it has become the identity of UT which we often find its existence both throughout the country and abroad. The Distance Learning System offered by UT in its learning activities has become a spectacle for other universities, especially when Covid-19 hit. Based on the phenomenon of distance learning, many people have discussed. Behind the problems that occur such as anxiety and increased stress caused by distance learning. UT has a strategy to introduce its learning system through distance learning skills training designed to help students prepare skills and develop successful strategies needed by students to understand and grow confidence to face the challenges of distance learning. This study also aims to determine the effect of distance learning skills training and learning motivation partially and simultaneously on the academic progress of Open University Students in Cianjur Regency. This research method uses a survey method with a correlational quantitative approach with a sample population of 70 people who are active UT students who are participants in PKBJJ 2022. The data processing used is SPSS version 25. The results showed that distance learning skills training had a positive and significant effect on academic progress. Learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on academic progress. And training in distance learning skills and learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on academic progress.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to produce a map of Semen Indonesia's strategy group at PT Semen Indonesia Tbk. A strategic group is a collection of firms in an industry that share a common strategy, scope of operations and resources that they use to win the competition (Hunt, 1972; Porter, 1980; in Meilic 2019) with a focus on the importance of industry strategic grouping in understanding differences among firms within an industry. The issues involved in identifying strategic clusters within industries are examined through a comprehensive review of recent research. The research method used was the case study method, which is a series of scientific activities carried out in detail and in depth to reveal an event and the activities of an entity in order to gain in-depth knowledge about the event. This research explores the strategic groups in the National cement industry with reference to the position of PT Semen Indonesia Tbk as one of the companies included as a sub-sector of the National cement industry. The results of the study show the mapping of strategic groups of the Indonesian retail industry from several national cement companies in Indonesia: PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk, PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk, PT Semen Baturaja, PT Cemindo Gemilang, and PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk.

Abstract

The high recidivism rate/the repetition of criminal acts by prisoners is the impact of the failure to properly classify development program for prisoners. This is because the results of societal research are inaccurate due to the lack of interpersonal trust between prisoners and officer resulting in low of self-disclosure of prisoners to correctional officers. The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an influence between interpersonal trust and self-disclosure of prisoners among correctional officers at the Lembaga Pemasyarakatan I Tangerang. This research is quantitative research using a simple linear regression analysis method. This research was conducted at the Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Tangerang. The research samples consisted of 186 male prisoners using purposive sampling technique, where the researcher determines characteristics from the populations adjusted to the purpose of the research. The criteria for respondents were prisoners whose age in the range of 18-59 years. The research data was collected using the Interpersonal Trust Scale by Rotenberg (2010) and Revise Self-Disclosure Scale (RSDS) by Wheeless and Grotz (1978).
