Abstract

Keberadaan Lembaga Keuangan Mikro (LKM) tidak terlepas dari perkembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM), yang peranannya sangat besar dalam proses pemulihan ekonomi nasional, baik dalam mendorong laju pertumbuhan ekonomi maupun penyerapan tenaga kerja.Banyak pihak meyakini, LKM sebagai alat pembangunan yang efektif untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan karena layanan keuangan ini memungkinkan orang kecil dan rumah tangga berpenghasilan rendah untuk memanfaatkan peluang ekonomi, membangun aset dan mengurangi kerentanan terhadap turbulensi kekuatan eksternal. LKM menjadi alat yang cukup penting untuk mewujudkan pembangunan dalam tiga hal sekaligus, yaitu: (i) menciptakan lapangan kerja, (ii) meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, dan (iii) mengentaskan kemiskinan (Anonim, 2007). Untuk itu, kebutuhan akan Sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang handal dalam pengelolaan lembaga keuangan mikro (LKM) untuk memaksimalkan peran LKM, menjadi sesuatu hal yang tidak dapat ditawar lagi, mengingat hambatan terbesar dari pengelolaan lembaga keuangan mikro (LKM) adalah terkait dengan aspek sustainabilitas, yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh kapabilitas sumberdaya manusia(SDM) pengelola LKM.

Abstract

Dunia wirausaha terus berkembang dari tahun ke tahun dan tidak luput dari peran kaum perempuan yang semakin semarak dengan bermacam-macam jenis usaha yang dikembangkan. Menteri Negara Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil Menengah Syarief Hasan, (2013) menyatakan Persentase perempuan mencapai 60% dari wirausaha seluruhnya. Penelitian ini secara mengulas dan mengkaji mengenai potret kinerja usaha wirausaha perempuan di kota Bandung, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga dilakukan dengan pendekatan Deskriptif Verifikatif untuk menguraikan karakteristik mengenai keadaan pada waktu tertentu dan gambaran mengenai variable yang diteliti. Sample dalam penelitian ini adalah 117 usaha yang dijalankan oeh 117 Wirausaha perempuan Kota Bandung. Analisis deskriptif dilakukan tuntuk mengetahui bagaimana tanggapan responden terhadap setiap indikator variabel yang sedang diteliti. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kinerja Usaha wirausaha perempuan kota Bandung termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hal ini mencerminkan bahwa mereka telah memiliki Kompetensi Wirausaha yang “Baik”, yang dapat menunjang kinerja usahanya.. Sub-Variable dengan skor tertinggi yang menunjukan bahwa Kinerja Usaha yang Baik ditentukan seberapa mapu para wirausaha perempuan menyediakan Modal Sendiri bagi pengelolaan usahanya. Nilai Skor Sub-Variable Terendah adalah nilai Pertumbuhan Tenaga Kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk. by using a SWOT analysis consisting of a matrix of IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Strategy), EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy) as a basis for identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the company. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods to explain external factors and internal factors in the company. The results of the study show that PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk is a leader in the retail business in Indonesia which still needs support in the form of large promotions and expansions and is in a strong position and has great growth potential in the future. This research contributes to expanding understanding of the business strategy of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk and provides advice for making the right decisions in developing the business in the future.

Abstract

The significant issue in the banking industry today is digital transformation. The changes resulting from digital disruption have transformed how people conduct business and transactions. However, several challenges still need to be addressed in this digital transformation. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the digital transformation process and its impact on the development and growth of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a Systematic Literature Review approach. The data are collected from academic references, books, and reports from official institutions. This research shows that Bank Mandiri has succeeded in implementing a business strategy that is by the five domains of digital transformation, according to Rogers (2016). With this digital transformation, the company has achieved significant business growth.

Abstract

Background – In recent years, more businesses have been adopting digital technologies to streamline processes, enhance customer experiences, and stay competitive. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated this digital transformation, creating opportunities and challenges for MSMEs in Bandung, Indonesia. As MSMEs contribute significantly to employment and economic growth, they face obstacles in adapting to changing conditions in the technological and disrupted market landscape. Aim – This study examines the implications of Business Digitalization, Organizational Learning, and Innovation Capabilities on the Firm Performance of micro in Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Design/ Methodology/ Approach – This research study was conducted in the City of Bandung, Indonesia, and collected survey data from 129 MSMEs that have undergone digital transformation. Non-probability sampling was employed in the study. The relationship between business digitalization, organizational learning, innovation capabilities, and firm performance was analyzed using SPSS software through multiple regression analysis. Findings – The findings reveal that business digitalization significantly enhances firm performance by facilitating knowledge creation, collaboration, and operational efficiency for MSMEs. Organizational learning has a considerable positive influence on firm performance, improving decision-making, promoting innovation, and enabling successful adaptation. Similarly, innovation capabilities positively influence firm performance by driving the development of new products, cost-cutting measures, and differentiation. Conclusion - MSMEs in developing their businesses are advised to use digital bases and develop innovative innovations Research implication – this research contributes to the field of management studies by shedding light on the interconnectedness of business digitalization, organizational learning, innovation capabilities, and firm performance in the context of MSMEs. The findings provide actionable insights that can guide MSMEs towards improved strategies for success in a rapidly evolving business landscape Limitations – This study focuses on MSMEs that have digitized their business and have undertaken organizational learning and innovation capabilities. From the time of the pandemic 2019 until 2023, without excluding other potential factors that may affect firm performance among MSMEs, such as market competition and external environmental factors.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving and highly competitive landscape of the hospital industry, analysing the strategic competitive position of the hospital is crucial in the process of strategic planning. This research evaluates the strategic competitive positions of 11 publicly listed hospital companies by performing a dynamic portfolio analysis starting in the 2020-2023 period, representing the most recent developments in the hospital sector in Indonesia. This research employs the BCG matrix technique, drawing on data related to the actual throughput of the hospital industry. This technique enables quantitative comparisons at the micro-level regarding hospitals' growth rates and market shares. The dynamic portfolio analysis findings indicated that Siloam Hospitals, Hermina Hospitals, and Mitra Keluarga Hospitals are well-performing companies with good positions in the industry. However, the results also revealed that some companies exhibited a negative trend in growth rate in terms of their competitive positions. By exploring a topic that has received limited attention from researchers, this research will contribute to the academic literature in defining the market structure of the hospital industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan yang tinggi dapat dicapai jika setiap elemen dalam organisasi terintegrasi dengan baik dan mampu menjalankan perannya. Dalam penelitian ini, elemen mengacu pada variabel kepemimpinan. Hasil survei pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa kinerja karyawan belum optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan perbankan di Sulawesi Tenggara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei deskriptif dan survei penjelasan. Alat uji hipotesis menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM), sedangkan pengolahan data dilakukan dengan program LISREL 8.72 (Linier Structural Relationship). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, terhadap kinerja karyawan. Ini berarti bahwa jika implementasi kepemimpinan organisasi dan motivasi kerja lebih baik, maka pencapaian kinerja pegawai perbankan di Sulawesi Tenggara akan lebih optimal.

Abstract

Penataan rute antara Bandar Udara Internasional Husein Sastranegara Bandung dengan Bandara BIJB Kertajati tidak langsung berdampak pada peningkatan penumpang Bandara BIJB Kertajati. Salah satu penyebabnya diduga adanya pemilihan bandara oleh penumpang angkutan udara khususnya wilayah Bandung Raya. Penumpang angkutan udara Jawa Barat khususnya wilayan Bandung Raya lebih memilih Bandar Udara Internasional Husein Sastranegara Bandung dengan memanfaatkan rute – rute yang tersedia, diduga menjadi salah satu penyebab turunnya jumlah pergerakan penumpang di Bandara BIJB pasca penataan rute. Kondisi transportasi darat yang membutuhkan waktu 3 – 4 jam dari Bandung untuk menuju Bandara BIJB Kertajati menyebabkan pengguna angkutan udara harus berangkat jauh lebih awal untuk terbang melalui Bandara BIJB Kertajati. Di sisi lain, dengan waktu tempuh dan jarak yang hampir sama, penumpang angkutan udara dapat mengakses Bandar Udara Internasional Soekarno – Hatta Tangerang yangmenawarkan berbagai kelebihan. Fenomena airport leakage ini diduga juga menjadi penyebab tidak belum meningkatnya pergerakan penumpang di Bandara BIJB Kertajati. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey explanatory. Pendekatan analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan menggunakan SmartPLS versi 3.3.2 sebagai sarana pengolahan data. Hasil pengolahan data mengungkapkan bahwa Pengalaman Penumpang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Pemilihan Bandara di Bandara BIJB Kertajati, Pemilihan Bandara berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Airport Leakage di Bandara BIJB Kertajati, Pengalaman Penumpang tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Airport Leakage di Bandara BIJB Kertajati, dan Pengalaman Penumpang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Airport Leakage melalui Pemilihan Bandara di Bandara BIJB Kertajati.

Abstract

Indonesia's salt production has great potential, but is still hampered by fluctuations in quality and productivity influenced by weather factors. Dependence on the weather causes instability in salt production results, which impacts achieving salt self-sufficiency. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of climate factors on the productivity and quality of traditional salt in Central Java Province, including temperature, humidity, rainfall, and wind speed. This study uses a quantitative approach, with data collected from 8 salt-producing districts/cities in Central Java with purposive sampling. Climate data was obtained from BMKG, while productivity and quality data were obtained from the Central Java DKP. The analysis technique used panel data regression with the Least Squares (OLS) approach and the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests to select the best model. The results showed that rainfall significantly negatively affected traditional salt productivity, while temperature, humidity, and wind speed did not show a significant effect. Overall, climate conditions were shown to affect salt productivity positively. Temperature and humidity have a significant positive effect on salt quality, wind speed has a significant negative effect, and rainfall has no significant effect on salt quality. Overall, climate conditions have a positive effect on salt quality. Rainfall and temperature management are essential to increase salt productivity and quality, while climate factor management will produce optimal results. The development of modern salt production technology that reduces dependence on extreme weather and better management of natural resources and technology can support the achievement of more stable and sustainable salt self-sufficiency.

Abstract

Competitive strategy analysis can be fundamental for responding to external conditions and increasing internal capabilities in generating a company’s competitive advantage. The purpose of this research is to determine the company's position in the industry as a basis for selecting alternative strategies so the company can strengthen its competitiveness and overcome its weaknesses in facing competitors. The methodology is descriptive qualitative research. Observation is done by data obtained from secondary sources. The analysis carried out includes: The Input Stage with Competitive Profile Matrix; The Matching Stage with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix and the Grand Strategy Matrix based on competitive analysis according to Porter's Five (Plus One) Forces; The Decision Stage with the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Justification was carried out based on a Forum Group Discussion with several experts using the Delphi Method. The result shows that there is a change in competitive conditions, thus the market leader company, Kalbe Farma, needs to make strategic adjustments. In conclusion, the results of strategy alternatives’ formulation through BCG Matrix and Grand Strategy, as well as the selection of strategies using the QSPM show that the priority strategies for Kalbe Farma, respectively sorted from the most recommended are Market Penetration, Market Development, and Product Development.
