Abstract

Design of steel structure connections is very important to realize the planned performance of the structures. SNI 7972:2020 specifies prequalified connections for steel moment frames for seismic applications. Bolted Flange Plate (BFP) and Double-Tee connections are non-patented bolt connections. The analysis of both types was carried out by also considering the provisions in SNI 7860:2020 and SNI 1729:2020 to obtain the advantages of each type for decision making purposes. BFP type produces a relatively smaller bolt diameter with more numbers. Attention must be paid to the length limit of the bolt group which does not exceed the depth of the beam. The need of connecting plates dimension is not difficult. Welding connection of plate to column must be carried out in the worlshop. Double-Tee connection analysis produces a larger bolt diameter with less amount. The thing that needs attention is the fulfillment of the Tee dimension which obtained from the cut hot-rolled profile.

Abstract

Tantangan dan kompleksitas pekerjaan pada Proyek Pembangunan Jalan Tol Yogyakarta-Bawen mengharuskan stakeholder untuk melakukan manajemen risiko agar risiko-risiko yang mungkin terjadi dapat diantisipasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa dan memberikan penilaian atas risiko-risiko yang mungkin terjadi yang terdiri dari risiko teknis, risiko lingkungan dan risiko ekonomi. Berdasarkan kuisioner yang diisi oleh 20 responden yang terdiri dari kontraktor, konsultan dan owner, didapatkan hasil bahwa risiko dengan probabilitas dan dampak tertinggi dari risiko teknis adalah risiko kurangnya suplai tanah timbunan dan tidak tersedianya gambar desain, dimana kedua risiko tersebut termasuk dalam level ekstrim. Risiko dan probabilitas tertinggi dari risiko lingkungan adalah sulitnya pembebasan lahan untuk jalan tol yang termasuk dalam level ekstrim. Sedangkan untuk risiko ekonomi, probabilitas dan dampak tertinggi adalah risiko inflasi dan naiknya harga bahan bakar selama proyek berlangsung. Risiko inflasi termasuk ke dalam level tinggi dan naiknya bahan bakar termasuk dalam level ekstrim.

Abstract

The performance of public transportation is a very important main indicator because it can represent the success of the implementation of public transportation. This study aims to determine the operational performance of the MRT Jakarta public transportation after Covid-19 based on passenger tapping data (big data) and user perceptions. This big data will be processed into an Origin - Destination matrix, to get the Load factor and Utilization Factor values. In this study, in assessing whether or not public transportation performance is good, we will use secondary survey data on public transportation performance standards from journals in providing MRT and LRT services in the cities of Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States, which of course refers to the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation in Indonesia (SK/687/AJ/DRJD/2002). The results of the study show that the operational performance of the Jakarta MRT is currently good from several factors based on users perception and standard used. The results of the analysis show that the MRT Jakarta average occupancy rate or load factor value is 67% and utilization factor value is 0,66, which means that the performance of MRT Jakarta from the ridership side is still not optimal.

Abstract

Kegagalan dinding penahan tanah yang distabilkan secara mekanis (mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall, dinding MSE) dapat terjadi karena kesalahan desain dan kurangnya referensi terkait penggunaan tanah kohesif sebagai bahan timbunan. Maka, serangkaian studi parametrik dilakukan pada studi ini untuk menyelidiki efek jarak vertikal, panjang, dan kekuatan tarik geogrid biaksial, masing-masing divariasikan dalam tiga nilai, pada stabilitas global dinding MSE dengan ketinggian material timbunan tanah kohesif 15 m di Boyolali. Metode elemen hingga dan metode kesetimbangan batas digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan faktor keamanan global dinding dan lokasi bidang gelincir terlemah. Selain itu, model material Mohr-Coulomb digunakan untuk memodelkan respon tegangan-regangan pada tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengurangan jarak vertikal geogrid dan peningkatan panjang geogrid dan kekuatan tarik meningkatkan nilai faktor keamanan global dinding MSE. Selain itu, jarak yang lebih pendek, panjang yang lebih panjang, dan kekuatan tarik geogrid yang lebih tinggi juga memengaruhi lokasi bidang gelincir terlemah.

Abstract

Cement-treated base (CTB) is a type of foundation material commonly used in pavement structures which initially has high stiffness, but due to repeated loads CTB tends to experience more cracks which can cause a decrease in its elastic modulus. This study aims to determine the extent of damage and decrease in the value of CTB's elastic modulus before and after cracking through ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) test and unconfined compressive strength (UCS) tests on CTB cylinder samples. The CTB material quality index was evaluated using a concrete quality designation (CQD). The results showed that the magnitude of stress applied to  CTB affects the degree of damage, and the degree of damage to CTB significantly affects the material’s modulus of elasticity. The greater the degree of damage to CTB, the smaller the elastic modulus will be. For applied stress with CTB damage level of 32%, the elastic modulus decreases by 33.55%. The level of damage caused by the application of the maximum stress (100%) on CTB sample reached 95.29%, and the modulus of elasticity decreased by 83.30%. The CTB sample with 95.29% degree of damage has the same elastic modulus as the unbound granular aggregate material.

Abstract

Estimating construction project costs is usually done manually; it takes a long time, and the more comprehensive the estimate, the more manual calculations must be performed, increasing the risk of human errors. This study aims to make a building cost estimation application using the 2022 Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP), based on excel macros, so that cost estimates become more accurate and efficient. The first step is to design the framework and application design and then analyze the database requirements. The second step: database creation and application interface design. The third step: testing, validation, and verification on two building projects in 2022. The estimation results of this application are very accurate and efficient, where the total cost is Rp. 382,998,432.00, while the bid price is Rp. 383,000,000.00. There is a difference in calculation costs compared to the bid price, which is Rp. 1,568.00 (0.00041%).

Abstract

Liquefaction is the condition of the soil that loses shear strength due to an earthquake, so the capacity of the soil decreases suddenly. Liquefaction occurs in water-saturated sand soils, such as in breakwater of South Bali coast with the magnitude earthquake of 6.8 based on BMKG data in 2011. This condition allows liquefaction to occur under the breakwater. This study aims to identify the potential and thickness of the liquefaction layer based on the N-SPT value at 4 bore hole using 3 methods, namely the Seed-Idriss method, the NCEER method, and the Tokimatsu-Yoshimi method, and design ground improvement with vibro compaction to overcome liquefaction problems. Based on the results of 3 methods analysis, the potential for liquefaction occurred in all bore hole zones with a thickness of 5 to 9 m from the ground surface. The ground improvement design uses vibro compaction with a triangular pattern, spacing 2.1 m. Ground improvement increases the liquefaction FS value, so the potential for liquefaction in all bore hole zones does not occur

Abstract

Natural frequency is one of the factors in bridge construction. Because the natural frequency can be used as an indicator to detect the ability of the bridge, including the ability to withstand resonance. In addition, the natural frequency is also a way to analyze damage that will or has already occurred to a bridge. One of the analytical methods that can be used to analyze natural frequency values is the Undamped-Degree of Freedom. The results of this study indicate that the natural frequency value of the Sei Wampu Bridge has a value of 10.97 rad/s for the first mode, 18.06 rad/sec for the second ,mode and 20.34 rad/sec for the third mode. From the results of this analysis, it can be seen that the natural frequency value will increase as the bridge mode increases.

Abstract

Implementing bus as a public transport system could reduce traffic congestion on urban roads. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of Sarana Angkutan Umum Massal (SAUM) bus in congestion reduction in Balikpapan. This study uses a macroscopic approach to analyze the changing in traffic characteristics when SAUM buses operate. Modal shift percentage is gained from the previous study. The focus of traffic characteristics is the degree of saturation, operational speed, and travel time. The result shows that decreasing the degree of saturation, increasing operational speed, and shorter travel time occurred. However, the result also found that operating buses do not contribute significantly to increasing operational speed on low-traffic corridors.

Abstract

The current requirements for structural concrete are SNI 2847 2019 which is an update of SNI 2847 2013. In the latest provisions contained in the table title 6.6.3.1.1 (a) SNI 2847 2019, it is stated that the moment of inertia is allowed to be reduced in elastic analysis at the load level factored. Thus, there is a potential for under design if the stiffness used when determining the magnitude of the earthquake load is reduced stiffness. This study aims to see the effect of using reduced stiffness of structural elements when determining the design seismic load, on the structural behavior of medium-level office buildings in the city of Padang. Structural modeling consists of two models. Model A is a structure with reduced stiffness when determining earthquake loads, while model B is not. The results showed that the fundamental period of the Model B structure experienced a decrease of 17.53% and an increase in base shear of 20.19%. The drift structure of Model B shows a more rigid structure and the maximum internal force has decreased by 9.85%.
