Abstract

PT XYZ is an industrial sector that produces cosmetic or body care products. By always trying to convince consumers with good product quality. With this, the company always strives to optimize and manage its products and human resources. The problems that occur in this company are caused by poor quality of shrinkage so the company tries to reduce defects resulting from this process. Quality control is a step in controlling a problem with a product so that it can produce good quality in accordance with customer expectations. Six Sigma is a method for controlling a problem in a structured manner. DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) is a measure in carrying out the Six Sigma process. The results of the research prove that when applied this method can reduce the impact of defects in the product process and is useful for the company to increase profits and as an experience so that if the problem occurs again the company can know how to overcome it.

Abstract

There are various efforts that companies can make to maintain company sustainability, one way that companies can do this is by optimizing the procurement of raw materials. By purchasing optimal raw materials, the company will of course obtain maximum profits and be able to maintain the company's continuity so that the company's survival can be guaranteed. The aim of this research is to determine the application of the EOQ and POQ methods in controlling raw materials for skin crackers, determining safety stock and inventory costs. In this research, the data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis by collecting data, analyzing data, and describing the data obtained for comparison between the method of controlling the supply of skin crackers in Sinar Rahayu with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) inventory method. control method, and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Period Order Quantity (POQ) inventory control .EOQ 296kg orders 23 times a year, buffalo hide 226 kg 18 times a year. Sefetystock cowhide 54kg, buffalo 31kg. Total EOQ costs Rp. Rp. 3,254,504, buffalo leather Rp. 2,486,324. POQ cowhide 285 kg with a frequency of 24 times, buffalo skin 166 kg with a frequency 28 times a year. Safety stock POQ is the same as POQ. The total price of POQ cowhide is IDR 3,410,149.80 and the total price of buffalo leather is IDR 3,949,193. The lowest inventory costs are obtained using the EOQ method. The EOQ method can be an option for controlling leather raw material supplies in PD. Ray of Rahayu.

Abstract

A hospital is a health service provider that experiences an increase in the number of patients every year. Every patient expects good quality service. This, if there is a discrepancy between satisfaction and expectations, will result in the hospital's reputation by reducing the number of patients seeking treatment at that place. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the quality of service for BPJS users referring to five dimensions, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. The servqual method is used to determine service quality by measuring the level of gap between satisfaction and what is expected based on the results of the questionnaire. The aim of combining the fuzzy servqual method is to produce accurate values. The results of the research show that there are six attributes that have negative values, namely the ability of hospital staff to provide timely services (C4), doctors having experience treating patients (D1), hospital staff and doctors dressing cleanly, neatly and wearing PPE (A3), comfortable waiting room facilities (A4), availability of all types of services (C3), and providing security guarantees while the patient is being treated (D2). However, the most significant attribute is C4 with a value of -1.00. This shows that there is a need to improve the quality of these six attributes so that they can increase the level of patient satisfaction at Hospital X

Abstract

Forecasting is a way of predicting an event in the future based on past information. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a statistical approach which aims to compare the results of forecasting the amount of OME drug production using the winter method and the decomposition method so that the best method is obtained. Differences in methods certainly provide differences in the accuracy of forecasting results. To see the differences between the two methods, this is done by looking at the comparison of the accuracy of the forecasting results. The research results show that forecasting demand for production quantities in 2022 uses Minitab.17 software with several different alpha, gamma and delta values so that the analysis results from each method can be seen. In the winter method, the smallest forecasting error value for each product is obtained from an alpha (level) value of 0.4, gamma (trend) 0.2 and Delta (seasonal) 0.2 with the accumulated value of OME medicinal products to obtain the MAPE value. amounted to 2.4649, MAD 3.4330 , MSD 17.6957. Meanwhile, for the decomposition method, the smallest forcasting error analysis results were obtained for OME medicinal products with MAPE values of 4.3437, MAD 5.2463, MSD 40.7027. From the results of forecasting error analysis using the OME Minitab.17 product software, it can be concluded that the method chosen to forecast demand for production quantities in 2023 is the winter method because the forecasting error value is smaller compared to the decomposition method.

Abstract

Technological advances make it easier for every human being to carry out daily activities, one example of which is washing. PT XYZ is a company engaged in dry and cleaning laundry services which offers washing and ironing services for hotels. Punctuality of service is one of the keys to success at PT XYZ. The variation in the number of orders means that PT XYZ must set a standard time or standard time, so that timely service can be maintained. Measuring working time is an estimate of the time that will be used in a job. Work measurements are carried out directly using the stopwatch time study method to obtain standard time. Based on research, it was found that the standard time for the washing process until the distribution of laundry results to each hotel was 29 hours 17 seconds

Abstract

Improving the quality of a product is the most essential thing for a company to continue to exist in the business world and as an important factor affecting the level of development and progress of the company. This research was conducted to identify the causes of defects in tapioca flour packaging at PT. Florindo is prosperous so that it can reduce the amount of damage and provide suggestions for improvements to the tapioca flour packaging containing 500 grams. The data used are primary data and secondary data by conducting experiments using the taguchi method. The dependent variable used is the improvement in the quality of tapioca flour weighing 500 grams with the independent variables namely the lack of workers (HR), speed of filling flour and temperature heater. The results showed that the speed of filling flour as a factor that significantly influences the quality of tapioca flour packaging with a contribution percentage of 67.3% so that the right settings and models for tapioca flour packaging so that quality packaging according to specifications is produced is the human resource factor. 3 workers, the flour filling speed factor is slowed down to 2.7 seconds/pcs and the Temperature Heater factor is 150 ℃.

Abstract

Bread is a processed food made from wheat flour which is considered practical and filling. Roti Maros Sanggalea Group, Roti Maros Sanggalea Group is a trading business with processed products in the form of wet bread. The type of moist bread that is the flagship of Roti Maros Sanggalea Group is Maros bread. However, there has been a decline in demand for Maros bread over the past year. This decline can be seen in Maros bread production for the period January to March 2023. The decline in sales each month requires producers to develop their products well so they can always compete in the market. Therefore, this research aims to provide suggestions for attributes that consumers prioritize for Maros Sanggalea Group Roti products using the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) method to improve the quality of Maros bakery products by identifying consumer needs and linking them to improvements in production techniques. The research results show that based on the priority level, the proposed improvement is by completing information about the product on the packaging, as well as adding a halal logo to the packaging, the price given to consumers must be in accordance with the quality of the product both in terms of ingredients and taste. Make the products being marketed easy for consumers to remember, for example uniquely designed packaging or distinctive flavors.

Abstract

The seafood of the north coast of East Java has a variety of commodities, along with the growing creative industry is able to support the economy of coastal communities.  The obstacles faced by creative industry players are supply chains that are not well integrated, lack of sustainable product development and innovation. The research aims to explore the internal and external factors owned by creative industry players on the north coast of East Java, coastal industry players have a major role in supporting the economic sustainability of coastal communities and developing alternative strategies for processed seafood creative industries that have a competitive advantage. Mapping of internal factors is obtained through the IFAS matrix with a score of 3.1909 while the EFAS matrix score value is 2.8712. The preparation of alternative strategies using SOAR analysis obtained 5 alternative strategies and through the QSPM matrix obtained the greatest strategic weight, namely optimising the management of biological resources to improve the national economy through the number of exports of marine and fishery products.  To realise this strategy, sustainable steps are needed by improving the supply chain starting from providing subsidised fuel oil for fishermen to reduce operational costs, downstreaming the seafood processing industry, product innovation tailored to each export destination country.

Abstract

UMKM Eka Jaya Opak is a business unit in the food industry that utilizes cassava as its main raw material. Its products have been marketed in several cities in Sumatra and Java. However, the company faces challenges in ordering raw materials and inadequate inventory, forcing them to purchase similar products from nearby businesses. This study aims to plan and control raw material inventory and determine the appropriate ordering period. The Exponential Smoothing method is used for forecasting and yields results with MAD = 3073.1, MSE = 13448930, and MAPE = 8.90%. The forecasting results are then analyzed using Material Requirement Planning (MRP) methods with LFL, EOQ, and POQ techniques to find optimal orders with minimum costs. The POQ technique is selected with a total cost of Rp. 2,543,898,000, which is better than Lot For Lot (Rp. 2,548,488,000) and Economic Order Quantity (Rp. 3,059,174,393). Therefore, the MRP method with the POQ technique is chosen for planning and controlling raw material inventory at UMKM Eka Jaya Opak

Abstract

The dynamic competitiveness requires White Cracker MSMEs in Kediri to evaluate their Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Payback Period, and Profitability Index. The assessment carried out at this level is to produce value standardization for the progress of these MSMEs. The findings show that the NPV exceeds Rp. 143,316,000, the IRR is above 50%, the PBP is less than 7 months 9 days, and the PI is greater than 1.00. This indicates that the white cracker MSME business has strong development potential and offers profitable returns for the owners. The profit potential is good for the white cracker MSME business. However, the quality of products with good taste and in accordance with consumer needs is important to build customer loyalty. Strength Strategy – Opportunity to use Unique Products-Digital innovation marketing components, Kediri original product market potential-Products that are attractive to tourists visiting Kediri and the latest taste tests for consumers-Different taste innovations from 1 product. Strict product development and quality control are carried out in order to always be of high quality and meet consumer expectations.
