This study aims to determine the application of character education through self-development which was carried out in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 Palopo, the policies of the leadership of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 in the application of character education and what factors were supporting and inhibiting the application of character education through self-development in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI. 1 Palopo. This research is included in the category of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that the application of character education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 Palopo was integrated into learning by taking into account three aspects, namely teaching, exemplary, and evaluation. The madrasa principal's policy in implementing character education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 Palopo is carried out by working meetings (Raker) with the board of educators in instilling character values in students. As well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of character education through self-development of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 Palopo.

Prior to the pandemic of Covid-19 in 2019, e-learning already implemented to replace or combine with face-to-face learning at universities. Some researchers have argued that e- learning can enhance student learning experiences and therefore, motivated policy makers to design more quality teaching and learning in higher education. This study is a pre-pandemic study of e-learning that helped understand its implementation and aims to describe the implementation in an Islamic Religious Higher Education institution. This research deploys quantitative method with pedagogical, sociological and managerial approach to explore the perceptions of e-learning management among the managers. Paper based questionnaires were distributed to seventeen the heads of the departments at the institution to collect the data. The managers shared their understanding on important factors for enhancing e-learning quality within the information technology infrastructure, content management, design funding, academic policy and learning system. The managers’ views of the e-learning enhancing factors were presented further in this paper.

This research explores the issue of revitalizing the management of the Islamic spiritual extracurricular program which is the responsibility of the School Task Force Implementation Unit. The unit is expected to provide solutions to problems in public high schools including those faced by SMAN 11 Luwu. This research is very important in helping to improve the spiritual learning experience of students. This research design was descriptive qualitative. The approaches used in this research were a management and sociological approach. The management approach was the approach taken to find out how to revitalize the right Islamic Spiritual extracurricular management after being stopped for some time due to several problems. The sociological approach was an approach that sees how school principals, teachers and students respond to the revitalization of Islamic Spiritual extracurricular activities in schools. Management revitalization which is suggested from this research starting from preparing a curriculum for mentoring materials and program activities (Planning), managing management (Organizing), directing administrators to immediately carry out activities (Actuating), and still overseeing the course of program activities (Controling). In addition, it is necessary to determine that one coach still has a background in Islamic organizations. Preparation of student debriefing on the management of extracurricular spiritual organizations is carried out through training which is carried out after a new period of management is formed.

This study examines the principal’s strategy in fostering teachers’ professionalism at UPT SD Negeri 089 Masamba and finds supporting factors and inhibiting factors as well as solutions in overcoming the problem of techer professionalism development. This research as a descriptive research. The subject in this study were principal, teachers, and students while the object was the principal’s strategy in fostering teacher professionalism at UPT SD Negeri 089 Masamba. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data is processed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of the study shows that the leadership strategy of principal in conducting coaching greatly influenced the professionalism of teachers with the strategy implemented by the the principal. Teachers who teaches can be controlled properly so that with the implementation of strategies for teachers, they make teachers professional in the learninf process in the classroom. The obstacles faceb by the principal in carrying out the coaching is the managerial task of the principal making it difficult to carry out maximum guidance. The principal overcame the obstacles by agrreing on a coaching schedule both in groups and individually without being limited bt time so that it can be done whenever the teacher needs it and the principal also forms assistance consisting of senior teachers to assist the principal in coaching process.

This study aims to understand and analyze: (1) Implementation of Supervision by the Principal in Improving Teacher Performance, (2) Stages of implementing academic supervision in improving teacher performance, (3) The constraints faced in the implementation of academic supervision by school principals in improving teacher performance in SMP Negeri 1 Mancak, SMP Negeri 2 Anyar and SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of comparative study. Data collection methods are observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques through the process of data reduction, the process of presenting data and the process of drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) The Implementation of Academic Supervision by the School Principals was carried out well and planned, so as to improve teacher performance. (2) The stages carried out in supervision include (a) the planning phase, (b) the implementation phase and (c) the follow-up stage. (3) the constraints faced in the implementation of academic supervision in improving teacher performance in Mancak 1 Junior High School, 2 Anyar Junior High School and Gunungsari 1 Junior High School are time, teacher readiness and the technique of Making Learning Implementation Plans.

This study aims: to determine the effect of soft skills and interpersonal skills on the leadership of school principals in SD/MI equivalent to Palopo City. This type of research uses quantitative research with an ex-post facto research design. The number of population is 80 school principals with a sampling using random sampling of 30 school principals. The research instrument used a questionnaire (questionnaire) and documentation. Furthermore, the statistical analysis technique used to process the results is descriptive statistical analysis using multiple linear regression equations using SPSS for Windows Version 20. The results of this descriptive study indicate that soft skills (X1) and interpersonal skills (X2) affect the principal's leadership (Y) at SD / MI equivalent to Palopo City where the Fcount value of 15,640 is greater than Ftable 3.34 and the significant value for soft skills and interpersonal skills is 0.000 <0.05 (H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted). So it can be interpreted that Soft Skills and interpersonal skills have a simultaneous and positive effect on the leadership of school principals in SD / MI Equal to Palopo City by 55%. While the remaining 45% is obtained by other variables not examined in this study.

This study aims to: 1)determine the management of teachers in SMP Negeri 5 Palopo, 2)determine student achievement in SMP Negeri 5 Palopo and 3)determine the effect of teacher management on student achievement in SMP Negeri 5 Palopo. This study uses quantitative research methods with ex-post fact research design. The total population is all teachers of SMP Negeri 5 Palopo which consists of civil servants and honorary teachers totaling 33 people with sampling using saturated sampling technique, So the sample used is 30 people. This research instrument uses questionnaires and documentation while statistical analysis techniques are used to manage the result data, namely descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis using a simple linear regression equation Y = a + bx with the help of SPSS vers.20 for windows. Based on the results of this research show that teacher management at SMP Negeri 5 Palopo is included in the good category with a percentage of 73%. Meanwhile, student achievement at SMP Negeri 5 Palopo is in the good category with a percentage of 58%. In addition, obtained T count 26,812 > T table 1,697 so that it can be concluded that X has an effect on Y with R2 (R square) of 0.963 or 96.3% positive influence on student achievement at SMP Negeri 5 Palopo while the remaining 3.7% is influenced by variables which cannot be explained in this study.

This study aims to determine the influence of the school environment on student motivation at inpres Borong Jambu II Elementary School in Makassar. The type of research used is ex post facto with a quantitative approach. The population used was class 5A and 5B of the Inpres Borong Jambu II Elementary School in Makassar, amounting to 54 people. The sample of this study was 5b class student consisting of 26 students, and the instrument used were questionnaires and documentation with a siple random sampling technique. The study results using descriptive statistical analysis, the average vaule of the school environment is 51.85 in the very high category, and learning motivation with a total of 44.58 is in the very motivated category. Prerequisite analysis of school environment normality test results and learning motivation 0,200>0,05 (normal distribution), homogeneity test results 0,658>0,05 (homogeneous). The result of the linearity test is 0,582>0,05. Based on these results, there is a linear relationship between the school environment and learning motivation. The results of the hypothesis test showed a sig value of 0,000 with the criteria of sig (0,000) <α (0,05).The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence of the school environment on student motivation of class V Inpres Borong Jambu II Elementary School in Makassar.

This research aims to find out the strategy of education restruction in schools, one of which is teacher because the quality of education personnel in schools is very dependent on recruitment and selection strategies for interested applicants and to get professional education personnel and have the best quality. Before doing this educator recruitment activity must be really mature so that it can pass the education recruitment process in school as professional educators according to school criteria because it will have an impact on learners. This research method uses this qualitative type of research with library analysis techniques. The result of this study is in improving the quality of education in schools emphasizes how to recruit well, which in the recruitment strategy the quality of education in school is very much but in essence the resources in school education are inadequate. However, in recruitment strategies improving the quality of education in school has been done effectively and a teacher is the main one in education.

Islamic religious education is a right for every Muslim, including for children with special needs. Religious guidance to them is not as easy as that of normal children. They have their own pattern in conveying the material so that what is conveyed can be understood and practiced in everyday life. Educators must be able to carry out coaching by using learning patterns that suit their needs. This research is a type of field research using qualitative descriptive research. The which aims of this reaeach to determine the development of Islam in SLB Negeri 1 Palopo, as well as the factors supporting and inhibiting the development of Islam in SLB Negeri 1 Palopo. Data was collected by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by doing data reduction, then presented for analysis to draw conclusions. The results showed that the development of Islamic religion in SLB Negeri 1 Palopo was different according to the type of need. For the deaf, coaching is done using visual media. For people with visual impairments, coaching is done by using books that use embossed writing. For people with mental retardation, coaching is focused on forming good morals and character through habituation of smiles, greetings, and greetings. Meanwhile, for people with disabilities, educators and guardians of students work together intensively to provide guidance. The materials presented are faith, worship, morality, and character.
