Abstract

This study discusses the evaluation of the new student admissions policy system based on zoning at the high school level in Palopo. The purpose of this study was to find out how the new student admissions policy system at the high school level in Palopo, and to find out how the implementation and social problems caused by the implementation of new student admissions based on zoning at the high school level in Palopo. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data were collected using primary data and secondary data in the form of literature studies, books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and previous research relevant to the research topic. The results of the study on new student admissions (PPDB) zoning are very good to be maintained by the government because they provide a positive value to the world of education. some positive values of PPDB zoning implementation are 1). Eliminating the term excellent and non-preferred schools. 2). There was an even distribution of students in every school 3). The Students very easy to get school because their homes are close to schools 4). Students whose IQ is not too good can study in schools with good quality education 5). Provide equal opportunities for parents to send their children to schools that have superior quality graduates. and 6). Economic Efficient.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the forms of school collaboration with parents in improving the learning process of students at SMP Negeri 2 Palopo, (2) To find out the implementation of collaboration between school management and parents in improving student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Palopo ( 3) To find out the factors that support and what factors become obstacles in the process of implementing collaborative school management with parents in improving student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Palopo.  This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and document study. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.  The results of the study show that the form and implementation of school collaboration with parents in improving the learning process of students at SMP Negeri 2 Palopo consists of: (a) Parenting Education. (b) Communication. (c) Parental Involvement. The supporting factor for school collaboration with parents is the existence of (a) educators who have a spirit of professionalism and responsibility for students. (b) the existence of supporting funds through BOS funds and so on (c) The school committee is one of those that supports the realization of collaboration between the school and parents to support the successful achievement of learning outcomes for students at SMP Negeri 2 Palopo. Furthermore, the inhibiting factors in the process of implementing school collaboration with parents in improving the learning process of students at SMP Negeri 2 Palopo include: (a) Time factor. (b) Parents' views of teachers. (c) Parents' self-confidence is still low

Abstract

The synergy of supervisors and principals has an influence on the performance of Islamic religious education teachers. The synergy of supervisors and principals not only has advantages in helping teachers but also has disadvantages that need to be corrected. This study aims to identify forms of synergy carried out by supervisors and school principals in making work programs, supervising and carrying out performance appraisals. Knowing the internal and external factors that impede the synergy of supervisors and principals in achieving PAI teacher performance standards and describing the achievement of PAI teacher performance standards. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a qualitative approach. Data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: first, the form of synergy that is carried out in making work programs is by holding joint deliberations. Then class visits are used in conducting supervision. Furthermore, the implementation of performance appraisal is carried out using the Field review method. Second, internal and external factors show that the low ability and work ethic of teachers is caused by the location of the school which is quite far from the supervisor, the supervisor is unable to come and the funds are minimal and external factors such as government policies that change frequently. Third, the achievement of PAi teacher performance standards is good as evidenced by the achievements of students in the religious field.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form/model, development management, internal and external factors and alternative strategies in the Scientific Integration-Based Curriculum implemented in the Muhammadiyah Boarding School of Palopo. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The research was conducted at MBS Palopo. The research subjects were primary subjects consisting of the Director of SBM, the curriculum development team and teachers as well as secondary subjects, namely the results of documentation. Techniques and data collection instruments used were observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data through the triangulation process. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum structure with an integrated curriculum model aims to facilitate students with general knowledge and religious knowledge. In the management of scientific integration-based curriculum development at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Palopo, there are several stages of the process, namely; curriculum planning, curriculum organizing, curriculum monitoring and curriculum improvement. Internal and external factors that contribute to the management of scientific integration-based curriculum development at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Palopo. The results of the analysis of internal and external factors show that the strengths of MBS Palopo are able to overcome its weaknesses and be responsive in dealing with threats in curriculum development. An alternative strategy in developing a scientific integration-based curriculum at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School. The first strategy is to organize training such as workshops on a national or international scale. The second strategy is to facilitate teachers in every SBM activity and facilitate teachers in strengthening the literacy movement. The third strategy is opening up space for private institutions in developing the teaching profession.

Abstract

The satisfaction of the community is a very important factor and determines the success of a business entity because the public are consumers of the products or services it generates. Problems found in the study are the complaints about the lack of visitors going to the Ministry as well as the facilities and infrastructure that are going on in Immigration Office Class III Non TPI Of Palopo, so the impact on the number of visitors Immigration Office Class III Non TPI Of Palopo. This study aims to analyze the quality of service provided to the public health center or community Immigration Office Class III Non TPI Of Palopo and to determine the level of conformity between the performance of the Ministry of public health with the hope of Community importance or use of the service. Analysis tools are used is to use the community's Satisfaction Index (IKM). Community satisfaction (IKM) is calculated using the weighted average value of each item of service in accordance with the decision of the Minister for Administrative Reform No. 25 of 2004. The methods used to determine the level of conformity is a method of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The Research Community Satisfaction Index measurement (IKM) indicates the quality of the given services Immigration Office Class III Non TPI Of Palopo still less well, based on the average value of the elements of each service unit at the clinic. Form comparisons between expectations and performance service levels, there are some elements that should be prioritized as elements of service, speed and commitmen because in fact the community still feel lack of commitmen employees of Immigration Office Class III Non TPI Of Palopo in serving the community.

Abstract

PThe use of ICT in learning and school management raises new problems. that is, most teachers are not yet optimal in operating ICT, and many are still not able to keep up with ICT progress. In other words, they are still technologically illiterate. This study aims to add references for this study. The aims of this study were to determine the use of ICT in learning activities and school administration, to understand the role of school principals in developing the use of information technology in school management, and to understand the importance of using information technology in school management. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to the type of library research (library research). The data collection technique is carried out by searching literature such as books, journals and other articles that support the writing process. The results of this study are 1) Utilization of ICT in Learning can be included in several ICT-based learning activities, blended e-learning, Web/Blog-based learning, ICT-based assessment, multimedia classes, digital libraries and CBT. 2) To face the industrial revolution 4.0, it must be followed by massive HR development and not be half measures. Therefore, it is necessary. First, an open minded leadership strategy is needed. Second, the presence of the industrial revolution 4.0 requires leaders who are ready to face the unexpected. Third, leaders must react quickly to existing changes. Fourth, leaders must be able to collaborate. 3) technology and information as a basis for data collection plays a very important role in helping to achieve educational goals. If the institution is not supported by quality data and information, it will undoubtedly face obstacles and difficulties, especially in the strategic decision-making process. With this research, it is hoped that it can become a reference source of information regarding the application of Information Technology in learning activities and school administration.

Abstract

This research  aims to determine: 1) Implementation of accountability in the management of School Operational Assistance funds at State Elementary School 4 Malimongan, Palopo; 2) Implementation of transparency in the management of School Operational Assistance funds at the State Elementary School 4 Malimongan, Palopo. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data was collected using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The application of the principle of accountability in the management of BOS funds by the State Elementary School 4 Malimongan consists of: a). The planning of BOS funds is done well, this can be seen by the existence of the RKA for one fiscal year; b) The use of BOS funds is in accordance with the technical guidelines for BOS funds which are government policies; c) Accountability by preparing financial statements as a form of accountability. With this responsibility, the school becomes a quality school and can be trusted by the community, especially the school community; d) Filing of financial statements and documents or financial data is carried out by the School Treasurer; 2) The application of the principle of transparency in the management of BOS funds by the State Elementary School 4 Malimongan consists of: a). Planning for BOS funds openly with the participation of school components, starting from the principal as the person in charge, teachers and guardians of students; b) The use ofBOS funds is carried out openly, it can be seen that in the process of preparing the accountability report, it is carried out together with the teacher; c) Accountability for BOS funds is carried out by preparing quarterly financial reports. The publication of the report is carried out by placing it on the school information board or other places that are easily accessible by the guardians of the students. In addition, the reporting process is also reported online to the government.

Abstract

This study aims to identify educational administrative planning based on SWOT identification.  This research uses a Library Research approach. SWOT analysis is an instrument for preparing strategic planning in an organization by analyzing Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Planning is a process of determining the right future actions, through a sequence of choices, taking into account the available resources. Planning documents in Madrasah consist of 2 (two) planning documents in the form of a 5 (five) yearly Strategic Plan (Renstra) and a 4 (four) yearly Madrasah Work Plan (RKM). SWOT analysis is very important to be carried out by madrasahs when preparing madrasah planning. Based on the findings of the research results, researchers suggest that each state madrasah identifies and analyzes existing opportunities, according to the conditions of each madrasah.

Abstract

This research discusses the Problems of Limited Face-to-Face Learning in Islamic Religious Education Subject for Students at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. This study aims to (a) find out the application of limited face-to-face learning on Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects to the students of UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. (b) knowing the problems of limited face-to-face learning on Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo (c) limited face-to-face learning solutions for Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects for students at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research location is UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. Subjects and objects of research are educators and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, the data processing techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing as well as data verification and analysis. The results showed that UPT SMA Negeri 6 Palopo implemented a hybrid learning system, namely a limited face-to-face learning system and online learning with odd-even sessions. Problems in the limited face-to-face from educators are the limitations in controlling students who take online learning, the concentration is divided so that it is less focused, the delivery of material seems rushed because of the limited time duration. Meanwhile, from students, there are demands to adapt to the type of learning they receive. Problems in learning religious education are the lack of students' understanding of the material provided, lack of motivation, there are still students who are not proficient in reading and memorizing prayers in the material for handling corpses. Efforts to overcome the problems of Limit. Face-to-Face Learning, namely for students who have a turn to study online, the learning model is in the form of presenting short material in the form of important points through WA groups or other applications and dominant in assignments. Meanwhile, those who get a face-to-face turn are limited to focusing on explanations and deepening of material and discussions. Persuasive approach, giving advice, enthusiasm and motivation.

Abstract

This study examines the Implementation of an Internal Quality Assurance System in Improving Educationional Quality at SDN 2 Pinceppute, Wara Barat District, Palopo City. This study aimed at describing 1) the implementation of Internal Quality Assurance at SDN 2 Pinceppute, Wara Barat District, Palopo City, 2) the Internal/external factors that contribute in improving the quality of education at SDN 2 Pinceppute, Wara Barat District, Palopo City, 3) the Cycle of Internal Quality Assurance System SDN 2 Pinceppute, Wara Barat District, Palopo City. This research is a qualitative research with a multi-disciplinary approach, namely pedagogical, psychological, and sociological. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. Management of data using the form of descriptions obtained through observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis used were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results obtained in this research are those an Internal Quality Assurance System at SDN 2 Pinceppute conducted by a team, called School Education Quality Assurance Team. In carring out its duty worked based on the instruction by Educational  Quality Assurance Agency of South Sulawesi. Internal factors that contribute in improving the quality of education at SDN 2 Pinceppute are superior human resources, adequate infrastructure, high school principal motivation, and good cooperation between all stakeholders at SDN 2 Pinceppute while external factors contribute in improving the quality of education at SDN 2 Pinceppute is the support from parents and related agencies, while the inhibiting factors for the implementation of education quality assurance at SDN 2 Pinceppute  is financing and the environment is not conducive. The internal quality assurance cycle consisting of mapping educational quality, planning quality compliance, implementing quality compliance, monitoring and evaluation and setting new standards.
