Abstract

Very tight work competition results in many unemployed people because of the imbalance between the number of jobs and the number of graduates. For this reason, universities prepare lectures that can equip their students in entrepreneurship. One of them is greenpreneursip lectures. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning greenpreneur on communication skills and student entrepreneurial interests. The research design used was the pre-experimental design one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling. The data collection method used in this study is the questionnaire method. Data collection instruments included 20 items of entrepreneurial interest questionnaires and 18 items of communication skills questionnaire used to determine changes in communication skills and entrepreneurial interests before and after the lecture. The results were obtained by the p-value of entrepreneurial interest> 0.05, which is equal to 0.475. the p-value of communication skills <0.05, which is equal to 0.049. The conclusion in this study is the greenpreneurship course does not affect student entrepreneurial interest, but has the effectiveness of student communication skills.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kompetensi PCK dengan model Shulman guru fisika berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis wacana. Subyek penelitian adalah dua guru fisika di sekolah menengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru fisika yang memiliki pengalaman mengajar lebih lama lebih fleksibel, terfokus pada kedalaman materi dan lebih bervariasi dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran, sedangkan guru dengan pengalaman mengajar yang buruk fokus pada kedalaman materi. Berdasarkan hasil ini dapat diketahui karakteristik mengajar guru berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar. Studi ini berguna sebagai rekomendasi bagi para pemangku kepentingan untuk menentukan sejauh mana integrasi kompetensi pedagogis dan konten dari masing-masing guru.

Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the characteristics and forms of matter; similarly determine the validity, reliability, as well as the students' response to the measurement results HOT reasoning about TIMSS models to measure student HOT developed. The method used is the research development. Products in the form of multiple choice questions as well as the reasons of the students' answers. Student responses obtained from the questionnaire responses the students after using such a matter. Based on the criteria of due diligence in a very good product. Characteristic of reasoning about TIMSS models which contain components reasoning refers to the TIMSS. About the validity of the overall test results show that the question is valid and feasible to use to measure student HOT. Reliability test results indicate that the matter is reliable and can be used well. Student response after use problems in the excellent category, obtained a percentage of 82.66%. HOT measurement results in the category of students is still low, at SMPN 8 Semarang amounted to 51.54%, SMP Kartika III-2 Semarang amounted to 31.16%, and the MTs NU amounted to 47.68% Ungaran. Problem reasoning models that have been developed decent TIMSS used to measure student HOT.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effectiveness of constructivist learning using guided discovery models on the concept of a regulatory system for curiosity and anti-narcotics attitudes. This research used a quasi-experimental and pre-experimental design. The population was all of the 4th semester MIA classes of SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga which consists of seven classes. Samples were taken with a convenience sampling technique.  MIA 2.4 and 5.4 as the experimental group and MIA 3.4 and 4.4 as the control group. The data in this research were collected by the scale of curiosity and anti-narcotics attitude. Data were analyzed with descriptive analyzed and t-test. The result showed as follows: there is a significant difference at the end of the curiosity and anti-narcotics attitude of constructivist learning using guided discovery model compared with direct instruction model learning; the average of student’s curiosity and anti-narcotics attitude score ≥ 3,00 on constructivist learning using guided discovery model. It is concluded that constructivist learning using a guided discovery model is effectively completed learning outcomes of the curiosity and anti-narcotics attitude on the regulatory system concept.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the world's mega biodiversity needs to be preserved, due to estimated the extinction rate of one species is estimated at 10,000 times per year caused by human activity. Various efforts have been made by various sectors to preserve the environment, including in education through Environmental Education (EE). This research aim to implement Environmental Literacy (EL) domain in Biodiversity learning assisted validated e-booklet (CVR0,67) to enhance student knowledge, cognitive skills (identification of issues, analysis of issues, and action plans), attitude (verbal commitment, environmental sensitivity, and feelings towards the environment), and responsible behavior towards the environment. The EL domains related to real context of biodiversity in Gegas Dam is implemented in order to avoid the availability of disconnecting youth generation with their native biodiversity. Data analysis and identification of diversity- diversity index, homogeneity, dominance and correlation among chemical-physical environmental factors- are presented in an e-booklet to strengthen students' knowledge and cognitive skills, while attitude and responsibility behavior are strengthened by presenting local, national and global environmental issues. Through one group pre-posttest design, 30 high school students in South Sumatra as youth generation were involved in this research. Students’ EL is measured by 66 questions EL domain. The results showed that students' verbal commitment got the highest n-gain score (0.62 medium), while environmental sensitivity was the smallest (0.2 low). These results indicate that verbally students or youth generation already know how to conserve the environment. Cultivation of environmental conservation habits could be continuously improved by realizing their verbal ideas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran sederhana mata pelajaran IPA menggunakan  alat dan bahan dari lingkungan sekitar, serta meningkatkan motivasi siswa MTs Muwahidun. Metode pengumpulan data pada penilitian ini ada empat, yaitu: 1) studi pustaka, 2) observasi, 3) wawancara, dan 4) angket. Model 4D digunakan dalam pengembangan penelitian ini yang terdiri atas tahapan: 1) Difine, 2) Design, 3) Develop, 4) Disseminate. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu: 1) media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan 2) dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran, motivasi siswa meningkat. Hal ini didasarkan dari 1) media pembelajaran dinyatakan layak oleh ahli, 2)ketersediaan alat dan bahan dalam  pembuatan media pembelajaran sangat memadai, 3)  media pembelajaran yang dibuat bersifat konkret sesuai dengan umur siswa MTs dan sesuai dengan KI-KD pada kurikulum 2013, dan 4) media pembelajaran menarik dan mudah dipahami.

Abstract

Research on Vlogs, ethnoscience, and social media literacy, is one of the trends in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, so it is exciting to research. However, scientific studies are still relatively new and rare. A systematic review is not yet available. Thus, the purpose of this study was to analyze the review content of synthesized articles with a focus on the study of the authors' origin, aims, method variations, and findings. This research's data collection method adopted the PRISMA design, consisting of four steps: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Article searches are carried out using the publish or perish application directly linked to Google Scholar search. The total number of articles found was 2971 articles in the period 2016 to 2020. This study was decided to review 25 articles with the distribution of 8 Vlog, 6 ethnosciences, and 11 social media literacy. The results showed that (1) Indonesia was the country that was ranked first out of nine countries on the topics of Vlog by 75% and ethnoscience topics by 67%, (2) the purpose of the research is on average testing, finding and developing topics with other variables, (3) the research methods also used varied, including descriptive qualitative, quasi-experimental, exploratory, survey, literature review, and R&D, (4) The findings indicate that these topics are interesting to study because they have a positive effect on learning, increasing learning motivation, self-confidence, speaking skills, understanding concepts, and critical thinking skills, innovative, creative to the entrepreneurial character.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the value of the National Physics Exam with Mastery of the Basic Physics Concept for 2017 Physics Academic Year Students. Data is obtained from the list of values of the National Physics Exam while mastering basic Physics concepts from the value of the basic Physics Final Examination. Data analysis uses a key test with a significance value of 0.851. The phenomenon of a strong foundation for measuring higher outcomes with the ability to master the Basic Physics concept.

Abstract

Since Covid-19 pandemic government requires all educational institution to apply online learning. Therefore, they must be able to use local potential as a learning source as much as possible. One of the local potentials used as a learning source is implementing an inventory of family foodstuffs. This research aimed to determine the type of foodstuff consumed by the biology college student’s families in the Covid-19 pandemic and how to integrate it into the biology learning of biodiversity concept. Data were collected by observing the foodstuffs of  28 biology college students’s families. Every college student recorded the food consumed by his family for two weeks. The data were foodstuffs name, part of foodstuffs consumed and its benefits. Consumed foodstuffs will be sampled, photographed, and identified up to the family level. Foodstuff for every college student’s family were tabulated into Microsoft Excel and collected into class data and then analyzed descriptively. Results showed there were 2 types of foodstuffs consumed by the biology student’s families namely vegetable and animal foodstuff. The most consumed vegetables during the Covid-19 pandemic came from Fabaceae of 15 species and the most consumed animal came from Bovidae of 2 species. Inventory of family foodstuffs during Covid-19 pandemic can be used as a biology learning source of biodiversity. After knowing the taxa of each foodstuff, college students ccould categorize the level of biodiversity. Integrating the environment as a learning source make learning more applicable, varied, interesting, and easier for college students to understand the material being studied.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia berbasis learning cycle 5E yang valid dan implementasi petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan Proses Sains Calon guru. Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengadopsi berbasis pengembangan Cennamo dan Kalk dengan langkah - langkah (1) fase pendefinisian yang meliputi studi pustaka, observasi awal; (2) fase perencanaan petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia dan instrumen penelitian; (3) fase peragaan atau uji coba skala kecil; (4) fase pengembangan petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia; dan (5)  fase penyajian pada skala luas. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah “one group pretest posttest design”. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Populasi sample yang terpilih adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah ibtidaiyah (PGMI) UIN Walisongo Semarang semester IV angkatan 2016/2017. Hasil simpulan bahwa Petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid. Petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains calon guru MI/SD dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,51 dengan kategori sedang. Respon mahasiswa terhadap petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia yang dikembangkan adalah sangat baik dengan rerata skor 26,6.
