Abstract

Di banyak negara di seluruh dunia, ada peningkatan penekanan pada peningkatan pembelajaran sains melalui pendidikan STEM. Literasi pendidikan STEM harus lebih banyak dianalisa di Indonesia. Sebagai contoh, mengembangkan beberapa metode atau pendekatan tentang pendidikan STEM masih dikembangkan oleh banyak peneliti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pendidikan STEM. Namun, pra-penelitian tentang literasi siswa tentang pendidikan STEM harus dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakteristik murid Indonesia. Tulisan ini menyajikan fakta tentang pendidikan STEM di salah satu Sekolah Dasar di Tangerang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan randomized control group pretest and posttest. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan beberapa bukti indikator pendidikan STEM yang dapat membantu peneliti lain untuk mengembangkan pendidikan STEM di Indonesia. Ada kebutuhan untuk penelitian tentang pendidikan STEM untuk memberikan para siswa dengan keterampilan abad 21. Namun, kami menyarankan untuk mengembangkan STEM Education yang berfokus pada siswa Indonesia dan kondisi fasilitas sekolah.

Abstract

Students will achieve the expected science education outcomes by giving more chances for scientific argumentation through building an argument, considering it, and debating various explanations on the phenomena. The learning activity is a complex and fast process, therefore the use of video can be a solution since the learning process can be explained in detail and observed repeatedly so that it can be analyzed properly. This study aims to analyze learning activities that facilitate the argumentation in biology on the topic of cloning in high schools. The study was conducted in three Islamic-based Private High Schools in South Tangerang City, Banten Province, Indonesia. The descriptive analysis method for Biology learning activities is recorded in full by using a video camera, then the video is transcribed and analyzed to determine the continuity of argumentation skills. The results of the analysis show that there is still a lack of scientific argumentation skills in learning cloning topic. Learning experiences taken by students have not provided an opportunity for in-depth scientific argumentation. It is necessary for biology learning efforts which can improve students' science argumentation skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the biology blog project-based learning on the creativity of students and cognitive ability in the e-learning course, biology department program IKIP PGRI Pontianak. The method in this research was quasi-experimental. The research design used in this study was a nonequivalent control group design, using two groups. The instruments used are; student creativity test, creativity observation guidelines, cognitive test. The Wilcoxon test results showed a difference in the effectiveness of using project-based learning between the pretest-posttest control class and the pretest-posttest experimental class. Then at the project implementation stage, the results obtained that students have trained to be collaborative, independent, and creative in making a biology blog. Meanwhile, based on observations, students have been able to use flexibility skills in various ways to solve problems when creating biology blogs, integrating text, images, and videos into blogs. In addition, students use Elaboration skills to develop ideas and details of group assignments in more detail. Thus, this study can conclude that biology project-based learning effectively improved student creativity in making a biology blog.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) dengan menggunakan metode Education Mini Club (EMC) sebagai solusi dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan diera revolusi 4.0 penelitian ini di lakukan karena adanya proses pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai dengan keadaan siswa yang tidak suka dengan metode pembelajaran yang monoton.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan metode observasi lapangan yang artinya pengamatan secara langsung dilapangan. Pelaksanaan pengamatan yang dilakukan di MTs Nu Ibtidaul Falah yang mendapatkan analisis data adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan metode Education Mini Club (EMC) data tersebut di dapat dari hasil nilai pree test ( sebelum di terapkan nya medode Educatin Mini Club (EMC) di bandingkan dengan nilai setelah di terapkanya metode EMC ini hasil nilai yang diperoleh lebih bagus setelah di terapkannya metode EMC. Sebelum di terapkannya ada beberapa siswa yang belum mncapai kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM) yang di tetapkan pihak sekolah setelah di terapakan metode EMC ini siswa semua telah mencapai KKM.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Implementation of Scientific Approaches in Physics Learning in Class X of SMA Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau". This study aims to determine the completeness of physics learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 lubuk linggau after implementing the Scientific approach. The research method used was quasi-experimental. This research uses a scientific approach, the scientific approach has stages of observing, asking, trying, reasoning, and communicating. The learning material in this research is measurement. The population in this study was all class X SMA Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau and the sample was class X IPA 2, amounting to 36 students and taken randomly. The test instrument uses 7 essay questions and observation sheets to collect data about all activities or student activity processes during learning. Based on the results of data analysis with t-test, it was obtained that t-count = 4,33 and t-table = 1,697, this shows that t-hitung ≥ t-tabel then Ha was received and Ho was rejected. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted as true. So it can be concluded the physics learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau after applying the Scientific approach is significantly completed.

Abstract

Perubahan mindset pendidik IPA harus didasarkan pada keterampilan apa saja yang dibutuhkan peserta didik agar mencapai partisipasi penuh di masyarakat. Salah satu strategi potensial adalah pembelajaran berbasis Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI). Sejalan dengan isu-isu yang berkembang, Fatwa MUI hadir sebagai keputusan yang diberikan oleh ulama-ulama tentang permasalahan umat Islam didasarkan Al-Qur’an, Hadis, Ijma’, Qiyas, dan dalil lain yang muktabar. Implementasi media Fatwa MUI adalah wujud Islamisasi sains yang mengarah pada bagaimana sains dapat meningkatkan iman dan taqwa. Kajian ini bertujuan mengungkap Fatwa MUI apa saja yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA, serta bagaimana implementasinya. Metode library research digunakan melalui penggalian informasi Kompetensi Inti (KI) dan Kompetensi Dasar (KD) pada struktur kurikulum IPA, serta kumpulan fatwa MUI. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa KD yang dapat dikaitkan dengan Fatwa MUI seperti zat aditif, zat adiktif-psikotropika, dan pencemaran lingkungan. Implementasi dapat dilakukan dengan desain pembelajaran bervisi SETS (Science-Environment-Technology-Society) dan berpondasi aspek Islami. Domain kognitif, afektif, dan budaya sosial dalam keterampilan abad ke-21 dapat ditumbuhkan seiring dengan tumbuhnya domain spiritual. Implikasi mengarah pada uji coba desain pembelajaran berbasis SSI dengan Fatwa MUI bidang POM, IPTEK dan lingkungan.

Abstract

The challenge of the 21st century is how teachers as much as possible integrate learning with information technology. Lecturers often find slides prepared by students when the presentation is not good, for example: full text and not contrast. The purpose of this study is to explain how the implementation, response, constraints, and difficulties during the development of materials in the form of a powerpoint slide on the material outside the plant structure. The research approach is based on qualitative research. Data obtained from questionnaires, interviews, and observations on PGMI students Semester 4 academic year 2017/2018. Data analysis using Miles and Haberman version. The results showed that the implementation of the training through three stages of pre-training, training and evaluation. Training includes 10 menus, namely: making titles, core competencies, basic competencies, indicators, concept maps, aperception, sub material outside structure in plants, insert windows media player, practice questions, and compile learning resources. All the trainees were pleased with the material development training through the presentation slides, 75% said they were useful, and 87.25% said Powerpoint training was something new. The material difficulties faced by students are 50% in the form of structure and content, 25% are Powerpoint templates, 12.5% difficulties create hyperlinks and insert windows video player. Technical obstacles faced in general are 62.5% in the form of time settings, 25% HR, and 12,% laptop supplies are limited.

Abstract

Basic Physics Practicum is a course taken by the pre-service science teacher of Tarbiyah Faculty of IAIN Kudus. Pre-service science teachers are required to carry out scientific work in the practicum. Scientific work includes scientific attitudes, scientific communication, and scientific process skills. The problem in this research is how the level of scientific work of pre-service science teachers who have different fields of study background in high school. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of scientific work of pre-service science teachers who have different fields of study background in high school. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method in which research data are obtained through instruments in the form of questionnaire sheets and observation sheets. Based on the results of the study note that the ability to work scientifically which includes scientific attitudes, scientific communication, and scientific process skills possessed by a pre-service science teacherwith non-natural science backgrounds is lower than with the natural science ones. These results provide input to the lecturer team to revise the practicum draft that has been prepared so that it is more effective in improving the scientific workability, especially for pre-service science teachers with non-natural backgrounds.

Abstract

The problem of student learning difficulties and the factors causing it are very important to know. The first step that can be taken is to use a diagnostic test as a reference indicator in identifying student learning difficulties. The purpose of this study was to determine the difficulties in learning parabolic motion and its causal factors experienced by students of the 2018 Physics Education Department. This type of research is descriptive. The subjects of this study were 19 students of the 2018 Cenderawasih University in the Physics Education Department. Data collection techniques used are test, interview, and documentation. The results of the overall assessment of the diagnostic test showed that 19 students had not yet completed achieving the learning objectives in understanding the parabolic motion sub-material because the highest score obtained by one of the students was 53, while the minimum completeness reached a score of 56. These difficulties are influenced by internal factors, namely body defects, fatigue, attention, readiness, habits, how to receive lessons, boredom; and external factors, namely the lecturer’s teaching methods, discipline, building conditions, forms of community life, and weather conditions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat respon siswa terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan alat pirolisis sampah plastik berbasis lingkungan di SMP Kabupaten Musi Rawas. prosedur yang digunakan mengacu pada desain pengembangan model ADDIE (Analisys, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Pemilihan model pengembangan ini didasarkan pada alasan bahwa tahapan-tahapan dasar desain pengembangan ADDIE sederhana, mudah dipelajari, simpel serta lebih mudah dipraktikkan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran subjek penelitian pada saat identifikasi kelayakan media belajar adalah siswa kelas VII melalui teknik purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini data kuantitatif adalah data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari lembar penelitian angket respon siswa dan guru serta tahap analisis data yang dilakukan untuk melihat dan mengamati permasalahan yang ada di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Musi Rawas dalam pembelajaran terkait sumber belajar berupa media belajar yang mereka gunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA bidang Fisika untuk materi suhu dan kalor. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon yang telah diisi oleh 27 siswa dengan uji coba kelompok terbatas dan luas didapat bahwa alat pirolisis tersebut sangat praktis dengan persentase uji coba kelompok luas sebesar 85,53% dan uji coba kelompok terbatas 88,53%. Serta untuk buku panduannya pada uji coba kelompok luas dengan persentase sebesar 86,79%, serta buku panduan uji kelompok terbatas sangat praktis dengan persentase sebesar 88,5%.
