One solution for postpartum mothers is to use boiled coriander seeds and soursop leaves.Writing Objective: To determine the effectiveness of coriander seed decoction and soursop leaf decoction for perineal wound healing in postpartum women at the Maja Community Health Center, Lebak Regency, Banten.Research Method : Quasy Experiment with post-test only control group design method. The samples were postpartum women with perineal wounds in May-June 2023 who gave birth at the Sukatani Health Center, Bekasi Regency, with a total of 34 samples using a purposive sampling technique. The intervention was given for 10 minutes 2 times a day in the morning and evening after bathing starting on the 2nd day until the 9th day post partum. The researchers measured perineal wound healing using the REEDA Scale with a value of 0-15. Bivariate analysis using independent t-test.Research Results: The average perineal wound healing in postpartum women after giving coriander seed decoction was 2.41 and the average perineal wound healing in postpartum women after giving soursop leaf decoction was 7.18. The results of the independent t-test obtained a p value = 0.000.Conclusions and Suggestions: There is the effectiveness of coriander seed decoction and soursop leaf decoction for healing perineal wounds in postpartum mothers. Postpartum mothers who experience perineal wounds are expected to be able to carry out non-pharmacological treatment in accelerating the healing process of perineal wounds, including using coriander seed decoction or soursop leaf decoction. Besides being cheap, these materials are also available around the yard. In addition, it is expected that postpartum mothers pay attention to personal hygiene and physical activity so as not to overdo it because it affects the healing of perineal wounds.

Abstract

Objective: Pregnancy is a crucial stage in a woman's life, and nutritional intake before and during pregnancy plays an important role in maternal and fetal health. WHO recommends the daily use of folic acid and iron supplements to prevent anemia, congenital diseases, and infant mortality. Folic acid consumption from one month before pregnancy to during pregnancy can reduce the risk of neural tube defects (NTDs) by 50-70%. Therefore, it is important to conduct research on folic acid consumption. This study aims to determine the compliance of first trimester pregnant women in terms of the level of knowledge and attitude in folic acid consumption. Methods: This study used an analytic research design with a cross-sectional study method. The sample in this study amounted to 70 people using accidental sampling method. Data collection was conducted for 3 months from May-July 2023 at Malawei Health Center, Manoi District, Sorong City. Univariate analysis was performed to determine the frequency distribution of the data, while bivariate analysis was performed to determine the relationship between variables using the chi-square test. Results: The results showed a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of first trimester pregnant women and the level of compliance in consuming folic acid, which is reflected in the p-value of 0.036. However, this study did not find a significant relationship between the attitude of first trimester pregnant women and the level of compliance in consuming folic acid, as seen from the p-value of 0.125. Conclusion: Pregnant women in the first trimester who have good knowledge are more likely to comply with folic acid consumption. This illustrates that more in-depth knowledge about folic acid can improve pregnant women's adherence to intake during pregnancy

Abstract

Abstract : Background: Chronic kidney disease is an irreversible, progressive disorder whose symptoms appear gradually. CKD is also a health problem that often occurs in society, the prognosis is poor, the costs are high, and many patients cannot receive a kidney transplant so they have to undergo hemodialysis and experience changes in blood components and electrolytes due to dialysis (Abdulla, JE, et al, 2020) .Discharge planning is obtained from the interaction process when professional nursing, patients and families collaborate to provide and organize the continuity of nursing needed by patients. Planning must be centered on patient problems, namely prevention, therapeutic, rehabilitative, as well as actual routine nursing until the patient is at home (Nursalam, 2015).Apart from remembering that one of the functions of the kidneys is to produce the hormone erythropoietin which is useful in the formation of red blood cells, which is directly related to hemoglobin levels, and considering the role of hemoglobin as a transporter of oxygen throughout the body's tissues, it is deemed necessary to carry out research related to hemoglobin in patients. kidney failure.Method: quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach with a one group Pratest Posttest design and the design used is a time seriesResults: Statistically there was no significant change in the mean value of hemoglobin levels before and after the chart planning intervention as indicated by the p value = 0.309 (p > 0.05).
