Abstract

There is a gap between the expected performance and the current performance of state MTs teachers in Deli Serdang Regency. If this problem does not receive serious attention and is not addressed immediately, the consequences will affect efforts in the field of education and are the main source for decreasing the quality of graduates. This study uses the explanatory correlational method because it aims to describe and measure the degree of relationship between variables in causal modeling using path analysis. Tests were carried out using SMART PLS to obtain the results of the most dominant indicators of the variables studied. The results showed that work culture has a positive effect on teacher performance with a path coefficient value of 0.171 (original sample column) and is significant with a P-value of 0.033 <0.05 (accepted hypotheses). Work culture has a positive effect on career development with a path coefficient value of 0.275 (original sample column) and is significant with a P-value of 0.009 <0.05 (accepted hypotheses). Individual characteristics have a positive effect on teacher performance with a path coefficient value of 0.282 (original sample column) and are significant with a P-value of 0.012 <0.05 (accepted hypothesis). Individual characteristics have a positive effect on career development with a path coefficient value of 0.399 (original sample column) and are significant with a P-value of 0.001 <0.05 (accepted hypothesis). Emotional intelligence has a positive effect on teacher performance with a path coefficient value of 0.138 (original sample column) and is significant with a P-value of 0.037 <0.05 (accepted hypothesis). Emotional intelligence has a positive effect on career development with a path coefficient value of 0.227 (original sample column) and is significant with a P-value of 0.028 <0.05 (accepted hypothesis). Career development has a positive effect on teacher performance with a path coefficient value of 0.371 (original sample column) and is significant with a P-value of 0.001 <0.05 (accepted hypotheses).

Abstract

This study aims to uncover and analyze the implementation of Acehnese cultural local content curriculum policies in accordance with Islamic law in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bireuen District. This research uses qualitative methods, and the approach used is a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and document studies. The analysis of the research data uses the steps proposed by Miles and Hubermun, which include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. In strengthening the validity of the data findings and research authenticity, the researcher refers to the use of data validity standards suggested by Lincoln & Guba (1985), which consist of credibility, transferability, dependability, and comfirmability. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Acehnese cultural local content curriculum policies according to Islamic law in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bireuen Regency refers to Qanun No. 14 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Education, which explains that local content subjects consist of 1) regional languages; 2) history of Aceh; 3) customs, culture, and local wisdom; and 4) skills education. The implementation of this local content curriculum policy is also regulated through Law No. 11 of 2006 concerning the Government of Aceh (UUPA) and the Aceh Traditional Council (MAA) by creating a youth training program for traditional pioneers, training for traditional leaders, and other traditional institutions.

Abstract

The hope of parents to educate, including sending their children to school, especially for a Muslim, is to have pious (sholeh) children. The character of the pious child generally not yet comprehensive, because only focus on religious elements. This research aims to obtain a complete construct, starting from aspects to indicators of the character at the elementary school level. This research method uses Delphi with a combined approach between qualitative and quantitative. The object of this study is the construct of pious children, which developed through a literature review; In contrast, the subjects of this study were 20 experts from various elements. Qualitative data analysis used in the descriptive analysis section comes from the experts' responses. Quantitative data analysis involves statistical measures ranging from the average, standard deviation, and interquartile range, ending with empirical construct testing through the evaluation of measurement models to see Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) using Smart PLS 3.0 software, and assessment of the goodness of fit. The results of this study are the constructs of pious children, which consist of five aspects with a total of 22 indicators spread across each aspect, starting from jismiyah, fikriyah, qolbiyah, amaliyah, and maslakiyah.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the holistic curriculum and analyze the development and implementation of a holistic curriculum in Islamic education at MIN 1 Berau. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type and data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The research results obtained are First, a holistic curriculum is a comprehensive curriculum that seeks to balance all aspects of life to foster awareness of the relationship with the environment and God, which is the ultimate goal of life. Second, the purpose of Islamic education is to prepare students to carry out the mission given by Allah, namely as caliphs and servants of Allah, so there must be an effort to balance material and spiritual life, individual and social, knowledge and morals, which is by holistic education for balancing all the potential that exists in life. Third, implementing the Holistic Curriculum at MIN 1 Berau has not been carried out comprehensively because education only develops knowledge and has yet to develop the realm of skills and student attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic Education factors on green entrepreneurial behavior, namely (1) the effect of social awareness on green entrepreneurial behavior, (2) the effect of cooperation on green entrepreneurial behavior, (3) the influence of innovation and creativity on green entrepreneurial behavior, (4) ) the influence of leadership on green entrepreneurial behavior, (5) the influence of work ethics on green entrepreneurial behavior. The population of this study were students of State Universities in Banten Province who had taken Islamic Religious Education Courses, with a sample of 232 students, which was obtained by multiplying the entire number of indicators as many as 29 with the number 8 referring to Ferdinand's opinion, The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative data collected through a questionnaire and processed using Smart PLS software version 3.2.9. The results of this study indicate that (1) social awareness has a positive and significant effect on green entrepreneurial behavior, (2) cooperation has no positive and insignificant effect on green entrepreneurial behavior, (3) innovation and creativity have no positive and insignificant effect on green entrepreneurial behavior, (4) Leadership has no positive and significant effect on green entrepreneurial behavior, and (5) Work ethics has a positive and significant effect on green entrepreneurial behavior.

Abstract

This article contructs the role and strategies of parents toward the children to develop the emotional and spiritual intelligence through Islamic education based on the dialogue or communication stories of prophets (Nuh, Ibrahim, Ya’qub and Luqman). It is applied qualitative research and thematic approaches in analyzing verses on parent-children dialogue or communication in the stories of prophets. This article concludes that the role of parents toward the children should be based on the tauhid of Allah and love. Those two engendered the virtues of emotional and spiritual intelligence. The communication or dialogue by the prophets to their children used the certain strategies and methods and also contented the materials to increase the emotional and spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the make a match method assisted by wordwall media on students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were 37 grade IV students. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. Research using validity test, reliability test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study included students' interest in learning in the control class which did not apply the make a match method assisted by wordwall media, which showed a significant increase in student interest in learning. This is evidenced by the data obtained from distributing questionnaires to the control class. The increase in student learning interest in the control class which was initially 59.62 became 67. Then for student learning interest in the Experiment class which in its application used the make a match method assisted by wordwall media, showed a very significant increase in student learning interest. This is evidenced by the data obtained from distributing questionnaires to the experimental class. There was an increase in student learning interest in the experimental class, which was originally 60.19 to 80.47. Based on this, it is known that the make a match method assisted by wordwall media has an effect on the learning interest of fourth grade students from the results of simple regression test calculations which show a significance value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

Research conducted in West Nusa Tenggara using the Solow Development Theory, to link the variables of social capital, human capital, and natural capital to economic development and people's welfare, it was found that social capital had a significant effect on economic development and people's welfare. Then the research results can provide an answer about the phenomenon of the level of people's welfare in West Nusa Tenggara Province, which is currently still below the national average. Based on the research results, it can be denied that to improve the welfare of the people in West Nusa Tenggara, a social capital-based economic growth management policy is needed. Then these actions must be taken because economic growth is a good intervention variable for social capital. Also, it is necessary to consider the regional government so that the management of the financial area is based on economic growth which is necessary for the welfare of the people in West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan menjelaskan tentang ancangan pembelajaran, bentuk penerapannya, dan strategi pembelajaran efektif berbasis ICT di madrasah. Penelitian ini merupakan studi lapangan yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, studi dokumen, dan diskusi terfokus. Analisis data menggunakan analisis domain, analisis taksonomi, dan analisis komponensial. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa madrasah unggul telah melakukan ancangan pembelajaran berbasis ICT, menggunakan bentuk-bentuk ICT yang variatif baik berupa e-book maupun aplikasi virtual dalam pembelajarannya. Ancangan pembelajaran berbasis ICT dirancang oleh guru, madrasah, dan komunitas antar madrasah, sedangkan bentuk penerapan ICT menggunakan aplikasi gratis, berbayar, dan buku elektronik, serta strateginya dengan pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan berbagai e-book baik online maupun offline sehingga siswa mencapai tingkat kemampuan memahami, mengevaluasi, dan mengkreasi, kemudian strategi memanfaatkan rekaman dari aplikasi audio, visual, dan audio-visual yang diproduksi oleh guru sendiri maupun pihak lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang manajemen kelas pembelajaran berbasis tradisi keislaman untuk mata pelajaran rumpun agama islam, sains, sosial, dan bahasa, dan menjelaskan tentang tradisi-tradisi keislaman tersebut membentuk kelas yang berwawasan moderasi beragama. Penelitian ini merupakan studi lapangan yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, studi dokumen, dan focused group discussion. Analisis data menggunakan analisis domain, analisis taksonomi, dan analisis komponensial. Simpulan penelitian ini, banyak tradisi keislaman itu telah menjadi supporting system pendidikan Islam yang sangat kaya akan nilai-nilai keislaman, baik pada aspek akidah, syariah, dan akhlak serta kebudayaan Islam. Pertama, manajemen kelas berwawasan moderasi beragama bisa diterapkan pada semua mata pelajaran, baik rumpun agama Islam, rumpun sains, rumpun sosial, dan rumpun bahasa. Kedua, wujud nyata tradisi-tradisi keislaman yang hidup secara nyata di nusantara misalnya istighatsah, ziyarah, santunan, maulid nabi, haul, upacara dan peringatan hari besar Islam menjadi basis pembelajaran Islam yang berwawasan moderasi beragama, baik sebagai sumber belajar, media belajar, maupun pendekatan dalam belajar.
