Abstract

This study seeks to reveal and analyze the following: 1) What is the formulation of teacher development policy planning in improving the quality of public Madrasah Aliyah in Langkat Regency? 2) How is the process of implementing teacher development policies in improving the quality of State Aliyah Madrasas in Langkat Regency communicated? 3) How do stakeholders support the implementation of teacher development policies in improving the quality of State Aliyah Madrasas in Langkat Regency? This study employs a multisite qualitative method, with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and document studies, while the researcher refers to the data validity standard proposed by Lincoln and Guba, which consists of credibility, transferability, dependability, and comfirmability, to strengthen the validity of the data findings and the authenticity of the research. The findings of this study show that: 1) Madrasa heads implement teacher development policies to improve the quality of Madrasahs through teacher professional development programs such as: Teacher qualification improvement programs or advanced study programs, Equalization and Certification Programs, Competency-based Integrated Training Programs, and Supervision Programs; and 2) The process of communication in implementing teacher development policies to improve the quality of Madrasahs. The implementation of teacher development policies to improve quality must also be accompanied by good commitment from all madrasah members, including teachers, and high awareness, as well as organizing an efficient bureaucracy, making the vision and mission of madrasas the basis for the development and development of madrasa culture, and good managerial activities and innovative; 3) Stakeholder support in implementing teacher development policies to improve Madrasah quality. The madrasah committee, local government, parents of students, and the surrounding community, who are very good at assisting policies in accordance with the direction of development, supporting all activities carried out by the madrasa; and 4) The teacher development model in improving the quality of State Madrasah Aliyah in Langkat Regency is reflected through activities to improve coordination between madrasa heads, Head of Madrasah Education

Abstract

Tujuan panelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh sikap siswa atas model pembelajaran kontekstual dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa di SMK Se-Kecamatan Ciracas Jakarta Timur. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa : l) Hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif sikap siswa atas model pembelajaran kontektual dengan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,778. Hubungan regresi bersifat linier dengan model persamaan Y = -21,680 + 1,309Xl. 2) Hasil pengujian hipotesis kedua diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama siswa, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,735. Hubungan regresi bersifat linier dengan model persamaan Y = -12,309 + 1,185X2. 3) Hasil pengujian hipotesis ketiga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa secara bersama-sarma terdapat hubungan positif variable bebas sikap siswa atas model pembelajaran kontektual (X1) dan motivasi berprestasi (X2) dengan variabel terikat hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,854. Hubungan regresi ganda bersifat linier dengan model persamaan Y = -43,035 + 0,894Xl + 0,695X2. 4) Variabel bebas sikap siswa atas model pembelajaran kontektual (X1) dan motivasi berprestasi (X2) baik secara masing-masing maupun bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap variable terikat hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa (Y). kontribusi masing-masing variable bebas terhadap variable terikat ada: a) Variabel sikap siswa atas model pembelajaran kontektual sebesar 60,5%, b) Variabel motivasi berprestasi sebesar 54%. Kontribusi kedua variabel bebas secara bersama sama terhadap variabel terikat adalah 72,9% Dengan diketahuinya sumbangan variable sikap siswa atas model pembelajaran kontektual (X1) dan motivasi berprestasi (X2) sebesar 72,9% terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa 27,1% hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor lain.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the marketing of education services by educational institutions which are now facing a lot of challenges in this global era. The marketing of educational serviceis is a strategy to increases school interest for students at this time, which is the most important element for the quality and development of education in an educational institution. The paper will discuss more specifically how marketing is applied in MAN Insan Cendikia Bangka Tengah as a strategy to increase the quality of its education. Furthermore, it look at how widespread marketing of educational services has departed from the original concept of the school as a non-profit institution which is not a business area in the world of education. Schools as providersof educational services need to study and high spiritsto increase school interest for students, becasueeducation is an ongoing teaching learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and analyze: 1) How is clinical supervision managed at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Langkat? 2) What is the clinical supervision management model for improving the competence of teaching staff at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Langkat? 3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for clinical supervision management in improving the competence of teaching staff at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Langkat? This study employs a multisite qualitative method, with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and document studies, while the researcher refers to the data validity standard proposed by Lincoln and Guba, which consists of credibility, transferability, dependability, and comfirmability, to strengthen the validity of the data findings and the authenticity of the research. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The management of clinical supervision at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Langkat can be concluded that the madrasa head, deputy head of madrasa, senior study teacher, and madrasa supervisor have carried out clinical supervision in various ways; (1) the Madrasah head, deputy madrasah head, senior subject teacher, and madrasah supervisor provide input or reinforcement related to the learning process; (2) The Madrasah head, deputy madrasah head, senior subject teacher, and madrasah supervisor plan and schedule clinical supervision of the teacher council, both those who volunteer to be supervised and those who do not volunteer; (3) Madrasah heads, vice principals, senior subject teachers, and madrasah supervisors motivate teachers to be even more enthusiastic about teaching; (4) The Madrasah head, vice principal, senior subject teacher, and madrasah supervisor provide input so that writing, reading and scientific publications should not be abandoned; (5) Madrasah heads, vice principals, senior subject teachers, and madrasah supervisors encourage teachers who are already good at teaching to keep them and not feel satisfied; (6) Madrasah heads, vice principals, senior subject teachers, and madrasa supervisors teach how to be professional teachers; (7) the Madrasah head, deputy madrasah head, senior subject teacher, and madrasa supervisor supervise clinically so that the administration and teaching materials are well prepared; (8) Madrasah heads, deputy madrasah heads, senior subject teachers, and madrasah supervisors supervise clinically so that they are active in teacher forums Consultations with subject teachers and teacher working groups; 2) Many activities are carried out under the clinical supervision management model to improve the competence of teaching staff at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Langkat. These activities include visits classified into two types: individual clinical supervision and collective supervision. Individual clinical supervision includes class visits, teacher requests, individual communication, and a personal evaluation process for learning. Collective clinical supervision is carried out through teacher group work, workshops, committees, teacher meetings, learning demonstrations, field trips, lectures/studies, curriculum laboratories, and panel discussions; and 3) Factors supporting and impeding clinical supervision management in improving teaching staff competence at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Langkat. Teachers on average master information and technology such as LCD, Infous, PPT, video, and learning media, as well as the availability of the internet and mosques. The teacher then provides administrative reports, the teachers want to adapt to technological developments, the madrasa head is able to create a comfortable working environment, and the madrasa head motivates, loves, cares for, guides, and fosters the teachers. Then there are time constraints, teachers who are not mentally prepared when supervision is held, teachers who do not understand clinical supervision, electricity that is not evenly distributed in class, teacher awareness to improve themselves, not yet able to collaborate, madrasa supervisors who do not provide guidance and guiding teachers, supervision that is not continuous for repairs, electronic facilities and infrastructure that are still inadequate.

Abstract

The hope of parents to educate, including sending their children to school, especially for a Muslim, is to have pious (sholeh) children. The character of the pious child generally not yet comprehensive, because only focus on religious elements. This research aims to obtain a complete construct, starting from aspects to indicators of the character at the elementary school level. This research method uses Delphi with a combined approach between qualitative and quantitative. The object of this study is the construct of pious children, which developed through a literature review; In contrast, the subjects of this study were 20 experts from various elements. Qualitative data analysis used in the descriptive analysis section comes from the experts' responses. Quantitative data analysis involves statistical measures ranging from the average, standard deviation, and interquartile range, ending with empirical construct testing through the evaluation of measurement models to see Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) using Smart PLS 3.0 software, and assessment of the goodness of fit. The results of this study are the constructs of pious children, which consist of five aspects with a total of 22 indicators spread across each aspect, starting from jismiyah, fikriyah, qolbiyah, amaliyah, and maslakiyah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the praxis of active learning in the Islamic perspective of the Educational Psychology course with the application of educational technology with the dimensions of students and lecturers at IAIN Kudus, as well as describe the impact and accompanying the implementation of learning. This research with a qualitative approach is Class Action Research (CAR) by adopting the Kemmis and McTaggart stages in the form of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The social situation of this research includes Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) Teacher Education students Class of 2020 with learning process activities. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires as triangulation. Active learning in the student dimension describes (a) the courage to express opinions, thoughts, feelings, and the courage to take part in lectures and assignments, (b) effort and creativity, freedom of innovation making exposure equipped with hyperlinks, interactive videos and individual learning games and group collaboration. Active learning in the lecturer dimension illustrates (a) efforts to foster and encourage students to increase enthusiasm, and participation by providing opportunities to function resources and creativity (b) carrying out functions and roles as innovators, motivators, and dynamic actors through e-learning, (c) inspiring actively exploring the sites and sources of knowledge needed, (d) providing opportunities for students to facilitate differences of opinion, (e) the ability to use a variety of strategies teaching and learning with a multimedia approach. The impact that describes the implementation of learning is the fundamentals of Islamic 5i (internalization, correction, substitution, addition, and fixation).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the pattern of developing transformational leadership in creating effective madrasah (Multisite Study at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Deli Serdang Regency). This research uses a multi-site qualitative research method, which was conducted at MAN 1 Deli Serdang and MAN 2 Deli Serdang. The results of this study concluded that the Head of MAN Deli Serdang carried out leadership with a Transformational model in accordance with the theory of M Bass and BJ. Valio which consists of 4 aspects viz.ideal influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulus, as well as individual considerations that are maximally applied so as to increase the effectiveness of madrasas at MAN Deli Serdan. The Pattern of Transformational Leadership Development for the Head of MAN Deli Serdang in Creating Effective Madrasas by applying Transformational Leadership According to Bass and Valio, namely ideal influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulus, and individual considerations by also implementing development, namely digital Leadership, Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, with this development will increase transformational leadership in realizing effective madrasas.

Abstract

Research conducted in West Nusa Tenggara using the Solow Development Theory, to link the variables of social capital, human capital, and natural capital to economic development and people's welfare, it was found that social capital had a significant effect on economic development and people's welfare. Then the research results can provide an answer about the phenomenon of the level of people's welfare in West Nusa Tenggara Province, which is currently still below the national average. Based on the research results, it can be denied that to improve the welfare of the people in West Nusa Tenggara, a social capital-based economic growth management policy is needed. Then these actions must be taken because economic growth is a good intervention variable for social capital. Also, it is necessary to consider the regional government so that the management of the financial area is based on economic growth which is necessary for the welfare of the people in West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

This study explains how to implement a scientific approach in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. This research also explores several problems implementing a scientific approach to the issue of Islamic Religious Education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. They are collecting data using interview documentation and observation. Researchers conducted semi-structured interviews to obtain comprehensive data—informants in research, among them school principals, PAI teachers, and students. Data validity and validity tests were conducted using source, technique, and time triangulation methods. Data analysis was carried out with data reduction, data presentation, and verification stages. The results of the study show that a scientific approach to Islamic subjects is carried out in the four fields of study, namely the study of the Al-Qur'an-Hadith, Akidah- Akhlak, Fiqh, and History of Islamic Culture. Learning activities are done by observing, asking, exploring, associating, and communicating. The scientific approach in PAI subjects can be applied with a material approach and a methodical approach. Islamic education material in the study of moral education, jurisprudence, and Islamic cultural history can be used with a material approach. In comparison, material for faith and faith can be applied methodically. The material approach provides a broader explanation related to social practices and contexts in everyday life. The method approach is carried out by directing students to explore the resources of teaching materials available in the library. There are several supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the scientific approach, among them necessity Skills teachers to integrate PAI material and scientific knowledge, student readiness, learning media, and infrastructure.

Abstract

The success of an educational institution is the management that carried out by the headmaster as the highest leader in the institution. The headmaster as the manager has the authority to carry out supervision to improve teachers’ performance. The aim of this research is to find out the academic supervision program, supervision implementation, supervision techniques, follow-up supervision results, and inhibitory factors in the implementation of academic supervision by the headmaster of MI Darussalam Ciamis. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by applying interviews, observations and documentation as data collection techniques. The subject of this study is the headmaster and teachers of MI Darussalam, there are 20 participants. The results of this study are: 1) Academic supervision program is oriented towards teachers’ guidance to improve teachers’ performance through discussions with teachers; 2) The implementation of academic supervision has several stages, the first is the initial planning, the second is the implementation of observation, and the final stage is the learning process becomes effective; 3) The techniques used by the headmaster are individual techniques, group techniques and clinical supervision; 4) The follow-up of this supervision is the provision of assistance and guidance to teachers who are still having difficulty in carrying out their duties as teachers, improving teachers’ professionalism through teachers’ meeting activities and attending training; 5) The inhibition factor in the implementation of academic supervision is the low competence of some supervisors appointed due to lack of human resources.
