Abstract

Keberadaannya pesantren secara historis telah memberikan warna dan corak khas dalam masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya pedesaan. Ia tumbuh dan berkembang bersama masyarakat sejak berabad-abad yang lalu.  Oleh karena itu, secara kultural lembaga ini telah diterima dan telah ikut serta membentuk dan memberikan corak serta nilai kehidupan kepada masyarakat yang senantiasa tumbuh dan berkembang. Figur kyai, ustadz, santri serta seluruh warga pondok pesantren saling berinteraksi dan membentuk sebuah kultur yang bersifat keagamaan yang mengatur prilaku seseorang serta pola hubungan dengan warga masyarakat Kajian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pendidikan pesantren dengan budaya lokal masyarakat konawe dalam perspektif sosial Karena itu, pendekatan studi ini menggunakan sejarah, komparatif, social fenomenologi dan metode yang dipakai deskriftif analitis. Data yang dipakai observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi yang berakiatan dengan pesantren dan budaya local. Hasil penelitian ini  membuktikan bahwa akomodasi pendidikan pesantren terhadap budaya lokal menyebabkan keberhasilan pesantren sehingga mampu diterimah masyarakat. Hal ini dilihat  beberapa hal yaitu:pertmaa, .Budaya ritual atau budaya keagamaan masyarakat sekitar pondok pesantren mempunyai dampak positif terhadap pembinaan santri dalam lingkungan pondok pesantren. Bentuk pengaruh tersebut berupa penambahan  kegiatan belajar ekstra kurikuler dalam mempersiapkan santri mengikuti atau mengemban amanah dalam pelaksanaan budaya keagamaan masyarakat. Kedua, Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh budaya  antara pondok pesantren yang ada dalam wilayah masyarakat transmigrasi dengan pondok pesantren diluar wilayah transmigrasi. Pada wilayah teransmigrasi  pengaruh budaya relatif  lebih kuat oleh karena tingkat  interaksi sosial antara sub kultur lebih intensif. Ketiga, Intraksi sosial antar warga pondok pesantren dengan masyarakat sekitarnya terjalin positif oleh karena keberhasilan warga pesantren dalam mengakomodasi budaya masyarakat sekitar.  Perlu penelitian selanjutnya mengenai pengaruh budaya pesantren terhadap perbaikan tata kehidupan masyarakat menjadi menarik untuk diteliti lebih lanjut,  mengingat semakin menipisnya nilai-nilai moral generasi muda dewasa ini. Pesantren perlu mengadopsi dan mengembangkan wawasan berpikir keilmuan dari Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, yaitu metode berpikir ; deduktif, induktif, kausalitas, dan kritis, sehingga pesantren dapat melahirkan sumber daya manusia yang handal spiritualnya, cerdas intelektualnya  dan kreatif.

Abstract

Drought is a natural disaster that can result in reduced water availability which is far below needs. West Lombok Regency is one of the districts in NTB Province that is prone to drought. Based on BPBD data from 2019 to 2021, there are six sub-districts that experience drought every year in West Lombok district. The aim of this research is to examine drought disaster mitigation management in West Lombok Regency. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research approach in analyzing the problems that have been determined. The type of data used is descriptive qualitative data. This research uses George R. Terry's management function as a reference. Based on the research results, the West Lombok Regency BPBD is still encountering obstacles or problems, namely related to organizing, actuating and also monitoring (controlling) the drought disaster in West Lombok Regency. Therefore, when one of the indicators of these management functions is not fulfilled, then the drought disaster mitigation management carried out by the West Lombok BPBD will not be optimal. Supporting BPBD activities consists of internal factors, namely from BPBD and external factors from communities outside BPBD. The inhibiting factors that hinder BPBD activities are 3 aspects, namely road access to the affected areas is still inadequate, the budget for carrying out activities and equipment for implementing the program is still inadequate.

Abstract

Nowadays, the problems of the field of education are getting wider and more tragic. The root cause of those problems is moral decadence caused by a dichotomous morality. It means that there is a difference, separation, and contradiction between religion and science. Morality is a moral system that exists in ideas, attitudes, and human activities. An integrative morality paradigm based on religion and natural law is necessary to avoid a dichotomy between the two. This study is a literature study using a descriptive-qualitative approach. This study shows that the new paradigm considered relevant is an integrative paradigm of morality between religion and science, which leads to an integrative morality in the form of moral systems. The idea, attitude, and human activity are built on an integrative morality through a dialectical approach. Religion and science are like two sides of a coin that cannot be separated. There is also a similar relationship between religion and morality and between morality and science. Humans learn from sunnatullah through observations, experiments, explorations, and elaboration, then present and discover science. At the same time, morality is based on human nature itself. In conclusion, an integrative morality paradigm can integrate religious and scientific understanding to avoid a dichotomy between religion and science.

Abstract

The emergence of the Revolutionary Era of Society 5.0 requires the mastery in science and technology. However, the development in science and technology has not been accompanied by the spiritual aspect as a balancing center. On the other hand, the institutions of religion education, have less participation in the world of education in madrasas and Islamic boarding schools. These institutions hold on to the very old traditions so that they are by far left behind from the touch of science and technology. Education in Islamic boarding schools (Madrasah) prioritizes learning in ulumus syar'i such as fiqh, fiqh proposals, interpretation, and memorizing the Qur'an. The development of science and technology has not been taken seriously by most of these institutions. This study is aimed to provide an overview of how the implementation of science learning uses the STEMR (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Religion) method in learning natural science and mathematics in Pesantren-based Madrasa and how to integrate it in learning process. The method used in the study was field research with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach. The data were collected in three ways: observation, interview, and documentation. After conducting an in-depth study, it resulted that the implementation carried out was in the form of integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Religion lessons by using information from Al-Qur'an verses to explaining scientific theory, both in class learning, practice and in composing scientific papers. After conducting an in-depth analysis, it shows that the STEMR method provides students with a great understanding in theory of sciences and the Qur'an. Yet, further research is needed to confirm the effects of scientific theory and the Qur'an.

Abstract

The purpose of carrying out this research is to find out how the implementation of the principles of Islamic communication in the implementation of guidance and counseling and the supporting factors and inhibiting factors. This study uses a type of qualitative research with field research research methods (Field Research). The data source for this research is the subject where the data is obtained, namely the respondent. The main data sources come from interviews and observations of high school guidance and counseling teachers in East Kalimantan. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research will be analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that the implementation of the principles of Islamic communication in Guidance and Counseling for Senior High Schools in East Kalimantan was running effectively which was proven by the delivery of guidance and counseling messages which contained the principles of counseling guidance, including: good and true words (Qaulan Sadidan and Qaulan Ma'rufa), communicative words (Qaulan Balighan), light words (Qaulan Masyura'), gentle words (Qaulan Layyina), and noble words (Qaulan Karima). The supporting factors in the implementation of counseling guidance are adequate and competent human resources, visible and invisible facilities and infrastructure, forms of cooperation between parents and the school, as well as periodic supervision. The inhibiting factors of the implementation of counseling guidance are the knowledge gap and the background of the students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the opportunities and challenges of modernizing the Islamic boarding school education system at the Tahfidz Foundation in Medan City (analytic study at the Tahfidz Syarief Sulaimaniyah Foundation and the Tahfiz Islamic Center Foundation, North Sumatra). The problem raised in this study is: what are the opportunities and challenges of modernizing the Islamic boarding school education system at the Tahfidz Foundation in Medan City (analytic study at the Tahfidz Syarief Sulaimaniyah Foundation and the Tahfiz Islamic Center Foundation, North Sumatra)? This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and document studies. Furthermore, the data analysis technique in this research involves the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The findings in this research indicate that the opportunities for modernizing the Islamic boarding school education system at the Tahfidz Foundation in Medan City, especially at the Tahfidz Syarief Sulaimaniyah Foundation, are: (1) competition to study abroad (in Turkey); (2) ability to respond to industrial technology. 4.0. The challenges faced by the Tahfidz Syarief Sulaimaniyah Foundation in modernizing its education system are: (1) challenges to producing a generation of scholars; (2) society's paradigm of modernity; and (3) accusations of national issues. Whereas the opportunities for modernizing the Islamic boarding school education system at the Tahfidz Islamic Center Foundation in North Sumatra are: (1) mastery of information and communication technology; (2) acceleration of scientific integration; (3) growing the competitive power of students; (4) community enthusiasm for the development of Islamic boarding schools; (5) maintaining and advancing the existence of Islamic boarding schools; and (6) accelerating the regeneration of future leaders. Meanwhile, the challenges faced by Tahfidz Islamic Center Foundation in North Sumatra in modernizing its education system are: (1) the existence of an instant program outside the Islamic boarding school; (2) the crisis of cadres of scholars; and (3) the availability and readiness of human resources.

Abstract

Filsafat Ilmu dan Implikasi Sosial dari Ilmu Pengetahuan merupakan topik yang sangat penting untuk dibahas karena memiliki implikasi besar terhadap keselamatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dalam konteks ini, tanggung jawab etis para ilmuwan dan teknolog sangatlah penting untuk dipertimbangkan, agar pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi tidak membahayakan masyarakat atau lingkungan. Untuk memahami hal ini lebih lanjut, pengetahuan tentang filsafat ilmu dan etika penelitian sangatlah diperlukan. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini akan membahas beberapa rumusan masalah terkait dengan Filsafat Ilmu dan Implikasi Sosial dari Ilmu Pengetahuan: Menjaga Keselamatan dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat, dan memberikan beberapa referensi buku berbahasa Indonesia yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan. Dalam pembahasannya, artikel ini akan membahas implikasi sosial dari ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi terhadap keselamatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, serta tanggung jawab etis ilmuwan dan teknolog dalam memastikan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi tidak membahayakan masyarakat atau lingkungan. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the tahfiz Al-Qur'an instrument developed by teachers at an elementary school in East Jakarta. The descriptive qualitative methodology was adopted in this research. This study's subject was teachers that teach tahfiz Al-Qur’an at elementary schools in East Jakarta, and the object was twelve instruments created by Tahfiz teachers in East Jakarta. The data gathering method is carried out by assessing the instruments developed by teachers. The instruments were analyzed by two experts and discussed in Forum Group Discussion (FGD) and engaged practitioners, there were tahfiz teachers in East Jakarta. Beside that the, the data collection is carried out through interviews dan document study. The interview guide is used to reinforce the data related to the tahfiz teacher's knowledge of the concept of assessment. The results showed that the assessment instrument made by tahfiz teachers at the elementary school level in East Jakarta still needs to be revised to meet the assessment principles. These instruments also need to be developed to produce systematic scoring criteria and guidelines. The conformity level on material aspect on average score 2,61; construct aspect on average score 1,42; usage language aspect on average score 2,10, and average total conformity on score 2,04.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the acceleration of academic supervision of madrasa principals in improving the quality of learning at several Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN)  in Aceh Jaya Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type in understanding the meaning behind the phenomenon of the acceleration of the madrasa principals academic supervision in the learning process. Methods of collecting data were carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires and document studies. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation theory by utilizing data sources from document studies, observations, interviews and questionnaires related to the acceleration of the madrasa principal academic supervision and the quality of learning. The results showed that: 1) the form of the acceleration of the madrasa principal academic supervision at MIN in Aceh Jaya Regency was carried out individually and in groups. 2) the acceleration of academic supervision has not been carried out properly by the madrasa principals, starting from the planning stage of the academic supervision program to the stage of implementing academic supervision, and the stages of evaluating and following up on the results of supervision. 3) the quality of learning carried out by classroom teachers has been classified as good, this can be seen from the aspect of readiness and seriousness in preparing learning tools, implementing learning activities and evaluating / assessing learning activities. The implication of less optimal acceleration of academic supervision can result in less optimal quality of learning processes and outcomes. These findings can be recommended to the head of the Regency/City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office and madrasa supervisors to carry out programmatic guidance and training for madrasa principals on the implementation of academic supervision in madrasas.

Abstract

This research aims to; (1) Organizational Culture on Performance; (2) Organizational Culture on Satisfaction; (3) Ability to Performance; (4) Ability to Satisfaction; (5) Satisfaction with Performance (6) Simultaneous Organizational Culture and Ability with Performance; (7) Simultaneous Ability and Satisfaction with Performance; (8) Simultaneous Organizational Culture Capability and Satisfaction with Performance. Research method This research is a quantitative research with a survey research type, because it is carried out by using a questionnaire for the four variables given to respondents. The results of the research findings are as follows; (1) Organizational Culture on Satisfaction of 59.4%; (2) Ability to Satisfaction of 51.4%; (3) Organizational Culture on Performance of 67.4%; (4) Ability to Performance of 48.9%; (5) Satisfaction with Performance of 79.4%; (6) Organizational Culture and Ability to Performance of 23.9%; (7) Ability and Satisfaction with Performance of 63.9%; (8) Organizational Culture and Capability and Satisfaction with Performance of 70.0%.
