Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) To find out the implementation of symbolic modeling techniques and an overview of the behavior of preserving forests by adolescents. (2) Compilation of symbolic modeling techniques used to improve forest preservation behavior. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D). Research and development or development research are one of the studies which at the end of the research can be found a new model. Data analysis is done in quantitative and qualitative ways. The results of the model development that have been carried out by the researcher include a model that contains (1) Rational, (2) Objectives, (3) Assumptions, (4) Target interventions, (5) Model components, (6) Model steps, ( 7) Material, (8) Means, (9) Evaluation and indicators of success. The arranged model is tested to determine the effectiveness of the model that has been arranged. The results of the trial show that symbolic modeling techniques are effective in increasing forest preservation behavior. That means there is an increase in understanding of forest preservation behavior. Therefore, it can be concluded that symbolic modeling techniques are effective in increasing forest preservation behavior.

Abstract

This research focuses on exposure to the quality of service of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of South Kalimantan and various efforts made in following up reports on complaints from the public in Banjarmasin on administrative matters carried out by bureaucrats in public service agencies/organizations that hinder or reduce the fulfillment of excellent service for the people. The research approach used is qualitative. This study uses interview guidelines as a research instrument. Qualitatively, this study found that, based on the Gronroos service quality model, the service of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of South Kalimantan in following up public complaints reports in accordance with Law Number 37 of 2008 concerning the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia with reference to Article 24 to Article 38, in following up on complaints from the public, the Ombudsman is impartial and able to be an effective communication facilitator between the organizer and users of public services so that each party can obtain rights and fulfill its obligations. The study found the main factor in the Ombudsman's service constraints in following up the report because of the lack of information and knowledge of the community about formal and material requirements that must be completed when submitting a complaint report. From the results of these studies, researchers recommend increasing information and knowledge about the functions, duties, and authorities of the Ombudsman by conducting socialization activities to the public, students, and public service providers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the Index of Patient Satisfaction with Outpatient Installation Services in Menteng City Palangka Raya Health Center. With the Mix Method Method, where the quantitative calculation follows the guidelines of Permenpan Number 25 of 2004, where the indicator is used to see the level of community satisfaction with the elements of service (Permenpan Number 16 of 2014), which includes: 1. Compliance requirements, 2. Service procedures, 3. Timeliness of service, 4. Fairness of costs, 5. Results of service, 6. The ability of officers to provide services, 7. Courtesy and friendliness of officers, 8. Implementation of Service Notices/Service Promises, 9. Follow-up complaints that carried out by the service unit at the Menteng City Palangka Raya Health Center. In this study, the perception of the quality of outpatient installation services in the Menteng City Palangka Raya Health Center was perceived by the user community to be ranged between 62.51-81.25. The IKM values obtained are: on nine service elements = 80. Where the service element which is considered most satisfying by the respondent is Implementing Behavior or the attitude of the officer in providing service (NRR 3.47), Service Requirements (NRR 3.36), Service Notification NRR 3.31) and Cost/Tariff (NRR 3.27) whereas those that are considered unsatisfactory but still categorized as Good are elements of Service Time and Service Procedure (NRR 2.85 and 3.10). For this reason, efforts need to be made to improve the acceleration of service time and ease of community procedures in outpatient services.

Abstract

As a result of divorce, other problems also arise as a result of being granted divorce claims, both the issue of joint assets to the problem of who is more entitled to do hadhanah (maintenance) of children. In Compilation of Islamic Law Article 105 letter (a) states that in the event of divorce, the maintenance of a child who has not been mumayyiz or has not been 12 (twelve) years old is the right of his mother, then, in Article 156 letter (a) due to the termination of marriage child who hasn't mumayyiz entitled to hadhanah from his mother. The method in this dissertation research uses the type of legal research empiric research that takes place in the field, with the approach of legislation (statute approach), conceptual approach (conceptual approach), and approach (prophetic) prophetic approach is an approach with basis instrument sourced texts from the revelations received by prophets and apostles and the Sunnah. The first research problem was why Hadhanah's rights fell to the father of children who were not yet mumayyiz and the second was how the Judge's policy in deciding on hadhanah cases in the Palangka Raya Religious Court Number 0067/Pdt.G/2018/PA Plk.

Abstract

Science and technology are experiencing very rapid development, one of them in the field of web applications whose growth has been increasing rapidly. Staffing Department of Universitas Palangka Raya has used applications to manage employee data, one of them is the employee attendance list. However, the management is still not efficient because staff from the staffing department cannot directly enter employee attendance status such as leave, permission, and illness directly on attendance data processors because they have to wait for data retrieval from the electronic attendance machine at the end of the month so that the process of making attendance recapitulation runs slowly. Software development in generating a file of the attendance data of Universitas Palangka Raya employees using the Waterfall software development method. The first step is to carry out a needs analysis of the system created, including library research, data collection, consultation, and design. Based on this analysis, the system design was created that uses Data Flow Diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagrams, as the system design that will be created. The next step is writing the program code. In writing program code, the programming languages used are HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as interface designs supported by PHP and MySQL programming languages for data storage and exchange. In the next step, testing is done to test the functionality of the application that has been made using the black box method. This software will be a tool to generate files on attendance data for Universitas Palangka Raya employees.

Abstract

Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.Dear reader, now ANTERIOR JURNAL re-published on Volume 18 Issue 2 June 2019. The success of this publication is the result of good cooperation of all parties who maintain the publishing sustainability twice a year. This edition is also our latest edition, publishing articles with a multidisciplinary scope, starting from volume 19 Issue 1 December 2019, all articles in the ANTERIOR JURNAL are only focused on the Social-Humanities scope, covering all fields of education, social and political, Islamic studies and other relevant topics. In this edition, we are still publishing four articles in the field of agrotechnology and engineering, which will be the last time we publish articles in the field of science at the ANTERIOR JURNAL.Alhamdulillah, from this edition ANTERIOR JURNAL achieved a new milestone by publishing two English-language articles. Abstract

Tujuan dari program kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan bagi perangkat desa Seren Selimbau agar dapat mengelola dana desa dengan bijak dan menghindari terjadinya permasalahan penyimpangan dalam pengelolaan maupun penggunaan dana desa serta memberikan edukasi dalam pembuatan laporan pertanggungjawaban penggunaan dana desa. Mitra program kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah Kantor Desa Seren Selimbau. Metode pelaksanaan pendampingan dilakukan dengan cara melakukan kunjungan langsung ke Kantor Desa Seren Selimbau yang berdomisili di Desa Seren Selimbau, Kecamatan Lumar – Kabupaten Bengkayang dan dilakukan melalui pelatihan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan latihan (tutorial). Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa program pengabdian masyarakat ini berlangsung dengan baik dan lancar. Program ini mampu Dengan adanya pendampingan ini perangkat desa dapat menyusun RPJMDes, RKPDes, Design & RAB serta APBDes, Kegiatan desa dapat berjalan tepat waktu dan sesuai dengan APBDes, Perangkat desa dapat mengelola Dana Desa dan membuat laporan pengalokasian Dana Desa. Adapun kendala-kendala yang muncul saat proses berlangsungnya pengabdian ini dapat diatasi dengan metode pendampingan. Adapun saran yang dapat diajukan dari hasil program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah diharapkan adanya kerjasama antara pihak STIM Shanti Bhuana dengan beberapa pemerintah Desa untuk membantu para perangkat desa dalam menyelesaikan tugasnya.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the increase in the number of people in Central Kalimantan who are infected with the HIV and AIDS virus from year to year. Given these problems, the researchers were interested to find out how the communication strategy of the Central Kalimantan AIDS Control Commission (KPA) in Socializing HIV and AIDS prevention, with a research locus in Central Kalimantan Province. The theory used in this study is the Theory of Effective Communication Strategies (Arifin), namely the determination of communication strategies based on steps to get to know the audience, compose messages, set methods, and media selection. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview data collection techniques, observation, and also documentation. The research subjects were KPA officers in Central Kalimantan Province and also the people of Central Kalimantan. The focus of the research lies in the communication strategy undertaken by the KPA of Central Kalimantan Province in socializing HIV and AIDS prevention to the community. The results of the study showed that up to now the KPA of Central Kalimantan Province had been quite good and effective in developing a communication strategy used in the process of socializing HIV and AIDS prevention to the people of Central Kalimantan. Whereas indicators for getting to know the public are still ineffective because the KPA of Central Kalimantan does not make an introduction to the audience itself, and only refers to government programs.

Abstract

The study aimed to (1) describe the science process activities of the fifth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya during learning by using the LAB Tabela (3) to find out the improvement of science processes of Muhammadiyah elementary school students in Palangkaraya city. The subjects in this study were all 27th-grade students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan. The research method used by researchers was to use the class action research method with two cycles. The analysis technique in this study uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study show that the science process activities of students in learning using the LKS Tabela on average 2.92 are sufficient in the first cycle and the second cycle the excellent category is the average score of 3.79, and the results of the science process test showed an increase from the average pretest of 59.75 to an average of 89.5 in posttest, N gain of 0.82 in the high category. Through learning by using Tabela LKS able to improve learning outcomes and science process skills of students.

Abstract

Direct Regional Head Elections that occur in Indonesia are based on Law Number 1 of 2015 concerning the Establishment of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2014 concerning the Election of Governors, Regents, and Mayors Becoming Laws, which are in the legislation regulating the procedure for the election of Governors, Regents, and Mayors, as well as this, has occurred the South Kalimantan Province post-conflict local election held on 9 December 2015 to elect the Governor of South Kalimantan for the 2016-2021 period. In this study, researchers chose to use a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques by means of interviews and observation and documentation. The results of this study are The Impact of the Election of Direct Regional Heads in the Development of State Civil Apparatus Careers in the South Kalimantan Provincial Government in terms of State Civil Apparatus Social is the impression/perception for the State Civil Apparatus that the Regional Head is elected from the election directly as if there is always a connection with supporting the support of the State Civil Apparatus to candidates for Regional Head Candidates when they start the campaign process until the election. (b) Judging from the Economic aspects of the State Civil Apparatus, particularly the South Kalimantan Provincial Government, those in income as long as those originating from Salaries and allowances are relatively still in accordance with the provisions of the legislation concerning inherent Salary and Job Allowances, and the reference to Regional Allowances.
