Abstract

The study examines thei effecti ofi profitability, leverage, firmi sizei, andi manageriali ownershipi oni earningsi managementi. The population in thisi study were all property and real estate companies for the 2017-2021 period, totaling 79 companies. By using a purposive sampling technique, a total sample of 23 companies was obtained that met the sample criteria for a 5 year period. The analytical tool was multiple regression where the classical assumption test was carried out with the SPSS 26 program and Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

Riba is an economic system that is opposed in Islam. However, in practice, usury remains a habit that is considered profitable. Removing the usury system is not an easy matter. Weak economic communities often have no choice when dealing with capital needs, and consider usury the only way out. However, it seems that the attraction of the usury system is not only fertile among the economically weak, but is evenly distributed in all groups of society. The purpose of this study is to find out the problem of the lack of understanding in the Muslim community about what is usury and what are its types. This results in the practice of usury but the perpetrators do not understand that what they are doing is usury. Even worse, in fact, usury has become an economic habit that is commonly practiced by many people even though that person already knows that it is usury. Not because of denying the prohibition of usury, but rather because of the inability to avoid the usury system that is already spreading. The method in this research is qualitative using literature review. Data collection was carried out by taking sources from various articles in the form of journals or books and relevant writings. And the results of this study can be seen that usury in Islamic economic ethics is strictly prohibited and must be abandoned. This is because the law of usury is unlawful and based on injustice.

Abstract

Leadership style is a behavioral norm that is used by someone when that person influences the behavior of others, the right leadership style and supported by discipline will motivate employees to perform well. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of leadership style, discipline, work motivation on employee performance. The influence of leadership, discipline, work motivation and employee performance were tested both directly and indirectly. To test the above issues, a direct survey was carried out by distributing questionnaires to District employees throughout Jambi City. Data analysis is done by path analysis. The results of this study indicate that leadership, discipline and work motivation have an effect either simultaneously or partially on employee performance. Leadership style, discipline, work motivation and performance of Jambi City sub-district employees are in the medium category. The analytical tool in this study uses a descriptive method with a verification approach. Where to use a range of scales while verification using path analysis or path analysis. The direct influence of Leadership Style and Discipline together through Work Motivation on Employee Performance is 53.93%, the indirect effect is 28.14%, so the total effect is of 82.07%. so that simultaneously the variables of Leadership Style and Discipline through motivation have a significant influence on employee performance

Abstract

The purpose of this assessment is to determine impact. from consumer preferences and online advertising to purchase decisions. Hero skin products in mobile legends online games where this should be a tertiary need that does not have to be met first. However, many young people are more concerned with buying skin products than other long-term needs. The population in this study were Management students at the East Java "Veteran" National Development University with a total sample of 101 respondents. This study used a data collection method with a questionnaire distribution system using Google Form media and using Smart PLS as a data analysis tool. The results of this study show that (1) consumer preferences contribute to purchasing decisions for skin hero products and this contribution has a significant impact, (2) online advertising contributes to purchasing decisions for skin hero products and the contributions made have a significant impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan Pengaruh Program Pengembangan Pasar, Harga Jual dan Tingkat Inflasi Terhadap Laba Usaha Pada Perusahaan Semen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh laporan keuangan PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. Sampel yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah laporan keuangan per bulan PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk tahun 2013 - 2022.  Jadi total sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 sampel penelitian yang berasal dari 4 triwulan dikali dengan 10 tahun. Analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan Program Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) versi 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Program Pengembangan Pasar secara parsial terhadap Laba Usaha Pada Perusahaan Semen Baturaja Persero Tbk, ditunjukan dengan sig t sebesar 0,003 < α (0,05) dan nilai thitung 2,044 > ttabel 1,684, Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Harga Jual secara parsial terhadap Laba Usaha Pada Perusahaan Semen Baturaja Persero Tbk, ditunjukan dengan sig t sebesar 0,046 < α (0,05) dan nilai thitung 2,068> ttabel 1,684, Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Tingkat Inflasi secara parsial terhadap Laba Usaha Pada Perusahaan Semen Baturaja Persero Tbk, ditunjukan dengan sig t sebesar 0,010 < α (0,05) dan nilai thitung 2,726 > ttabel 1,684,  Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Program Pengembangan Pasar, Harga Jual, Dan Tingkat Inflasi secara simultan terhadap Laba Usaha Pada Perusahaan Semen Baturaja Persero Tbk, ditunjukan dengan sig F sebesar 0,006 < α (0,05) dan nilai thitung 4,806 > ttabel 2,610, Nilai koefisien determinasinya R Square sebesar 0,525 atau 52,5% variabel Laba Usaha dapat dijelaskan atau terdapat pengaruh dengan variabel Program Pengembangan Pasar, Harga Jual, Dan Tingkat Inflasi sedangkan sisanya sebesar 47,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Thesis Title The Influence of Organizational Commitment and Quality of Work Life on Job Satisfaction and Its Impact on the Performance of Health Office Employees of Tanjung Jabung Barat. Organizational commitment (X1), quality of work life (X2), job satisfaction (Y) and employee performance (Z) at the West Tanjung Jabung District Health Office, where organizational commitment is in the very good category, quality of work life is in the good category, satisfaction work and employee performance are in the high category. Organizational commitment has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Therefore, it can be concluded that organizational commitment (X1) partially has a significant influence on job satisfaction (Y). The quality of work life has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Therefore, it can be concluded that the quality of work life (X2) partially has a significant influence on job satisfaction (Z). Organizational commitment and quality of work life together influence job satisfaction. Therefore, it can be concluded that the results of testing organizational commitment and quality of work life simultaneously have a significant influence on job satisfaction. Organizational commitment has a significant effect on performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that organizational commitment (X1) partially has a significant influence on performance (Z). The quality of work life influences performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that the quality of work life (X2) partially has a significant effect on performance (Z). Organizational commitment and quality of work life together have a significant effect on performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that the test results are significant, which means organizational commitment and quality of work life simultaneously have a significant effect on performance. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that job satisfaction (Y) partially has a significant effect on performance (Z).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine which factors are more influential in influencing the choice of Syariah Bank savings (Y) among students at FEB Jambi University   ‘s. These Factors are classified as internal and external.This research applied quantitative research methods. The primary data sources are questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability as well as secondary data from various print and electronic media related to this research. SPSS 25.0 was used to analyze data using simple regression tests and multiple regression test. A random sampling method was used to choose 233 FEB students from Jambi University’s class of 2019-2022. Based on the results of the T test and F test, the internal factor variabel (X1) and external factor variabel (X2) obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that the internal factor variabel (X1) and external factor variabel (X2) affect the choice Syariah Bank savings (Y) for Jambi Universitas FEB students. Furthermore, based on the coefficient of determination (R2) results, the internal factor variabel (X1) has a value of 74.3% while the external factor variabel (X2) has a value of 49.9% . Thus, internal factor (X1), Which include personal, psychological, and economic factors, outweigh external factors (X2), which include cultural, social, and marketing factors, in influencing FEB Jambi University students’ choice of  Syariah Bank Savings (Y). Because of that, it is important for Syariah Bank side to improve both variabel in order to increase interest of syariah Bank in Indonesia.

Abstract

In this era of competition, knowledge is an important factor for a company, therefore knowledge management and work discipline are needed which are considered to be able to make a good participation as human resources, especially in the world of work. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of knowledge management and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Tri Tunggal Putra. This study is a quantitative study that uses a questionnaire as a data collection method. The population included in this study is the security staff at PT. Tri Tunggal Putra with a total of 724 security. Samples in PT. Tri Tunggal Putra as many as 66 security using random sampling technique. The data used are primary and secondary data. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results in this study indicate that 1) knowledge management is able to contribute to employee performance at PT. Tri Tunggal Putra, 2) work discipline able to contribute to employee performance at PT. Tri Tunggal Putra.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are one of the pillars of the people's economy in which most small and medium entrepreneurs come from family or home industries. This study aims to find out and analyze how the influence and application of simple bookkeeping has on cash flow management in MSMEs in the Ciangsana Village environment. The research method used in this study is a mixed methods research method and the research design to be used is a concurrent/parallel design. The researcher distributes questionnaires to 30 respondents and the data will be processed using SPSS. In addition, the researcher will conduct interviews with 5 respondents to provide interpretations of the research results both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the data analysis show that simple bookkeeping (X) has a positive effect on cash flow management (Y) and obtains a coefficient of determination of 72%. This can be interpreted that the X variable (simple bookkeeping) has a contribution effect of 72% on the Y variable (cash flow management). From the results of the interviews, it was found that so far the recording activities were carried out only to find out expenses and income and calculate profits. It was found that MSME actors only make a simple record, where the record shows the amount of purchases (capital goods) and sales (sales turnover). Until that stage alone, and even then it is not as contained in the literature or established accounting standards. That is, the financial records that are applied do not follow the stages in the accounting cycle, and these records can only be understood by the MSME actors themselves Knowledge and information regarding simple bookkeeping, is still minimal among MSME actors, so that in the future, training and assistance is needed for MSME actors, especially in the field of financial recording and reporting and efforts so that MSME actors have sufficient knowledge in carrying out their business activities.

Abstract

This study uses 3 variables consisting of: 1 independent variable, namely transformational leadership, 1 mediating variable, namely job satisfaction and 1 dependency variable, namely work performance, which aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on work performance which is mediated by job satisfaction in employees of PT. Bank Mandiri Tbk. Jakarta's Big Rice Field. The sample used in this study were employees of PT. Bank Mandiri Tbk. Paddy Field, Central Jakarta. Sampling used the cluster random sampling method, through a survey using a questionnaire with a total of 190 respondents and the data analysis method in this study used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS version 23 software. through a survey using a questionnaire with the results of this study indicating that transformational leadership positive effect on job satisfaction. However, it does not have a significant effect on work performance. If you look at the role of Job Satisfaction as a Mediation variable, it is enough to influence transformational leadership on Job Performance at PT. Bank Mandiri Tbk. Jakarta's Big Rice Field. Thus, the conclusions obtained indicate that employees with high job satisfaction tend to be good at their jobs compared to employees with low job satisfaction. In addition, the work performance of employees with high transformational leadership is greater than that of employees with low transformational leadership. In addition to the direct effect, this study shows that job satisfaction has a significant mediating role in the relationship between transformational leadership and performance. These findings reveal important theoretical clues that transformational leadership as a personal ability can influence work performance not only directly but also indirectly through its positive influence on job satisfaction.
