Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how Tiktok Shop in Batam City, Indonesia uses content marketing, online customer review, and cash on delivery to influence customers' choices to buy The Originote items. The data for this research was gathered using a Google Form questionnaire. People that use the TikTok app and buy the original items will fill out the survey, which uses a Likert scale for measuring. 204 people participated in this research. The research used a causality design to examine the relationship between the variables that were chosen for analysis. With SPSS version 25, we were able to determine the coefficient of determination. Content marketing, online customer reviews, and cash on delivery impact purchase choices by 48.5%, according to the study and data analysis that was carried out.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe leadership style, work discipline, motivation and performance of employees of the Merangin Regency Education and Culture Service and to analyze the influence of leadership style and work discipline partially and simultaneously directly and indirectly on employee work motivation and performance, as well as to analyze work motivation on employee performance. To answer the research objectives, this research is supported by theoretical studies related to research variables, namely leadership style, work discipline, work motivation and performance. Apart from that, the author also looked for relevant previous research in the form of articles/journals and previous theses to support this research. The population in this research is ASN employees totaling 73 employees with conditions in 2022. The data analysis technique used in this research is through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through the F test (Simultaneous) and t test (Partial). From the path analysis tests carried out, it was found that leadership style and work discipline influenced work motivation by 46.28% while the rest was influenced by other variants. Leadership style and work discipline have an influence of 43.14% on employee performance at the Merangin Regency Education and Culture Office. This research concludes that leadership style, work discipline, work motivation and employee performance are in good and high condition. Apart from that, work discipline and work stress partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on work motivation and employee performance at the Merangin Regency Education and Culture Office. Likewise, work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Government practice in the era of the rise of artificial intelligence prioritizes e-government in its implementation, but in reality it is still not used optimally by stakeholders so that the public lacks knowledge of the existing e-government programs that are used. The lack of access to information on the official Cimahi City Government portal is also a concern where the government as a public servant must prioritize openness in providing information to the public. The aim of this research is to create a model to determine the influence of e-government and public service motivation on good governance in the civil service of the Cimahi City government, both partially and simultaneously. The methodology in this research uses descriptive analysis with quantitative methods, the research object is a sample of 98 Cimahi City Government Apparatus. The sampling method is by taking a sample of Cimahi City Government Apartments based on a simple random sampling technique from the total number of Cimahi City Government Apartments. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression, processing data using SPSS v.25 software. The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence of e-government and public service motivation on improving good governance in Cimahi City. It can be concluded that the higher the e-government and public service motivation, this will have an impact on improving good governance in Cimahi City, good governance accompanied by easy access to various public services for the community, especially in Cimahi City.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Democratic Leadership Style (X1), Affective Commitment (X2), and Work Discipline (X3) on Performance (Y). This research is quantitative research. The research population was all employees of the Dinas Kesehatan Kota Yogyakarta, totaling 53 employees. The research sample was the entire population of 53 employees of the Dinas Kesehatan Kota Yogyakarta. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis, classic assumption tests consisting of normality, multicollinearity and hetercedasticity tests, and multiple regression tests. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique, and data collection was carried out using a survey method by distributing questionnaires. The data was processed using the SPSS version 25 application by carrying out data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple regression tests, t tests and coefficient of determination tests. Based on the test results in this research, it shows that the variables Democratic Leadership Style, Affective Commitment, and Work Discipline each have a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Dinas Kesehatan Kota Yogyakarta

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of influencer marketing, brand image, and trust on purchasing decisions on Blibli e-commerce in Batam City. This type of research is quantitative research. The variables in this research are influencer marketing, brand image, trust, and purchasing decisions. The population in this research is the people of Batam City. The data in this study was collected using a questionnaire prepared using a Likert scale measurement scale. The total number of research samples was 204 samples. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program. The findings of this research show that influencer marketing, brand image, and trust positively and significantly influence purchasing decisions on Blibli e-commerce.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the factors that impact employee performance at PT. Semen Indonesia Unit Tonasa, Pangkep Regency, using quantitative analysis methods and statistical techniques with the assistance of SPSS software. The data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to all employees, especially those in supervisory roles, with a total of 475 respondents. The results of the study indicate that work motivation, discipline, job commitment, organizational culture, and job compensation have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, both individually and collectively. The higher the levels of work motivation, discipline, job commitment, organizational culture, and job compensation, the higher the employee performance tends to be. These findings have important implications for company management in efforts to improve employee performance and address challenges arising from structural changes and the economic conditions of the company.

Abstract

Viranty Herlyna Putri, 2023. The influence of competency and work environment on employee performance Biro SDM Polres Karawang. Thesis. Faculty of Economics. University of Singaperbangsa Karawang. In this study, it is related to the influence of competency and work environment on employee performance Biro SDM Polres Karawang. The quantitative method used in this study along with descriptive and verification approaches. Quantitative methods are relied on in this case along with descriptive and verification approaches. The primary data relied on in this case, namely questionnaires and unstructured interviews, non-probability sampling technique is the technique for collecting data for this research. Employees at the Karawang Police HR Bureau are the population in this study, with a total of 59 employees, in determining the sample by relying on saturated sampling, there were 59 employees consisting of Polri and ASN or PNS Polri. The success of this research using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and SPSS 24. In this study, it provides the fact that there is a significant parcial effect on the competence variable of 0,41% and the work environment variable of 44,1% on employee performance at Biro SDM Polres Karawang. Furthermore, there is a simultaneous effect on competence and work environment variables on the performance of Biro SDM Polres Karawang with simultaneous value contribution reaching 74,4% and the remaining 25,6% is contribution of other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work experience, compensation and work motivation on employee performance. This research is a quantitative research with the object of research on employees of PT Maybank Semarang Branch. The population in this study were all employees of PT Maybank Semarang Branch was 82 respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire in the form of a google form distributed to all respondents. Data analysis in this study used respondent description test, variable description, validity test, reliability test, F test, determination coefficient test (R²) and hypothesis testing results. The results of this study indicate that work experience has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

IDX30 companies experienced significant volatility in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in uncertainty regarding their stock returns. This information led to fluctuations in stock prices. This research aims to investigate the influence of exchange rates, inflation, debt, and firm size on stock price volatility. Using purposive sampling, 12 IDX30 companies were selected as samples for the period 2018-2022. Data samples were collected from annual financial reports via the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Bank Indonesia's website. This study employs panel data analysis, descriptive analysis, panel data regression analysis, regression analysis, and coefficient determination analysis. The research findings indicate that exchange rates and inflation don’t affect on stock price volatility, whereas leverage and firm size significantly influence stock price volatility. The test results also demonstrate that exchange rates, inflation, leverage, and firm size collectively influence stock price volatility. The R-squared value is 99.99 percent, suggesting that 99.99 percent of the variation in the dependent variable can be explained by variations in the independent variables within the testing model.

Abstract

The energy sector has a sharp increase in the value of imports resulting in a trade deficit that causes losses for the country as the rupiah depreciates against the exchange rate. This makes the energy sector vulnerable to exchange rate risk. Any hedging instruments such as swaps, options, forwards & options and natural hedging are generally used by companies to protect foreign exchange exposures. This study aims to examine the effect of Cash Flow Volatility (CFV), Firm Size (SIZE), Foreign Debt (FD) and Exchange Rate (ER) on the use of hedging using various instruments used by companies. By using purposive sampling, 35 energy sector companies in 2018-2022 samples were chosen for the study, and data were gathered from annual repots available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. The analysis employed aims to examine the impact of independent variables on the dependent in this study is logistic regression analysis. The results of this study prove that cash flow volatility, firm size and foreign debt have a positive and significant effect on hedging. While the exchange rate has no effect on hedging. The coefficient value of determination in which the variation of the dependent variable can be explained eh the variability of independent variables by 17 percent.
