Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of self-control, cyberloafing, and work motivation on the performance of Gen Z employees in Yogyakarta City. It is a quantitative research study. The population studied encompasses all Gen Z employees working in the Yogyakarta region, born between 1996 and 2012. The researcher employed a questionnaire to gather data, utilizing a Likert scale for measurement. The study targeted employees aged 18-25 or Gen Z individuals working in Yogyakarta. Data analysis was conducted using Multiple Linear Regression. The findings indicate that self-control does not significantly affect the performance of Gen Z employees in Yogyakarta City, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.917 > 0.05. Similarly, cyberloafing does not significantly impact the performance of Gen Z employees in Yogyakarta City, supported by a significance value of 0.878 > 0.05. However, work motivation shows a significant positive influence on the performance of Gen Z employees in Yogyakarta City, as supported by a significance value of 0.016 < 0.05.

Abstract

Current technological developments can change society to become modern and practical, for example the emergence of online shopping trends, such as on one of the online shopping platforms in Indonesia, namely Shopee. The Shopee marketplace offers various promotions such as flash sales and live streaming to attract consumers to make impulsive buying. The aim of this research is to test the effect of flash sales and live streaming on impulse buying on the Shopee marketplace in the city of Surabaya. The population in this research are consumers who have watched live streaming and are aware of the flash sale program on the Shopee marketplace domiciled in the city of Surabaya. This research used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 108 respondents via Google Forms. Research variables were measured using the Likert scale assessment technique levels 1-5. The analysis used in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS). This research shows the results that flash sales and live streaming have a significant positive effect on impulse buying on the Shopee marketplace in the city of Surabaya.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between profitability parameters and company size and firm value moderated by disclosure of corporate social responsibility in the coal mining sub-sector which is traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of the study found that firm value increases with profitability, decreases significantly with firm size, profitability moderated by disclosure of corporate social responsibility has a significant negative effect on firm value, and firm size moderated by disclosure of corporate social responsibility cannot contribute to firm value. Moderate regression analysis used for data analysis in this study is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA).

Abstract

In order to effectively navigate the changing landscape of modern work, it is crucial for human resources to possess dependable, autonomous, and proficient skills in carrying out their primary responsibilities and functions as employees. This includes demonstrating a strong commitment and a strong work ethic that aligns with their job requirements, ultimately leading to optimal work productivity. Work productivity is a cognitive disposition that consistently enhances existing conditions. An enhanced conviction in one's ability to perform a task more effectively than previously. The objective of this study is to assess and examine the impact of HR training, locus of control, and job satisfaction on work productivity, as well as the impact of HR training and locus of control on job satisfaction. This study employs a quantitative descriptive research methodology. The descriptive approach in research seeks to quantify and measure existent phenomena. Quantitative data analysis is employed to compute the statistical outcomes of Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the objective of testing the hypothesis. The hypothesis test results indicate that HR training does not have a substantial impact on work productivity. However, Locus of Control has a notable beneficial influence on work productivity and job satisfaction. HR training does not have any impact on job satisfaction, while Locus of Control has a notable positive influence on job satisfaction. Additionally, it is seen that work productivity is significantly improved by HR training. The findings indicate that HR training does not have a discernible impact on productivity and work satisfaction. Work productivity is significantly enhanced by job happiness. The impact of Locus of Control on the productivity and job satisfaction of Village Officials in Lebak Regency is notably good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the discipline, work stress, motivation and performance of PERUMDA Tirta Merangin employees and to analyze the effect of partial and simultaneous work discipline and stress directly and indirectly on work motivation and employee performance, as well as to analyze work motivation on employee performance. To answer the purpose of this research, this research is supported by theoretical studies related to research variables, namely work discipline, work stress, work motivation and performance. In addition, the author is also looking for relevant previous research in the form of articles/journals and previous theses to support this research. From the path analysis test conducted, it was found that work discipline and stress affected work motivation by 46.28% while the rest was influenced by other variants. Work discipline and work stress affect 43.14% of employee performance at PERUMDA Tirta Merangin. This study concluded work discipline, work stress, work motivation and employee performance in good and high condition. In addition, work discipline and work stress partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on work motivation and employee performance at PERUMDA Tirta Merangin. Similarly, work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyse the impact of the Arrum BPKB sharia marketing mix at Pegadaian UPS Diponegoro on the income level of MSME customers.This qualitative case study uses structured interviews to collect primary data from MSME players, complemented by secondary data from institutional records. The focus of the analysis is placed on understanding how the application of Sharia principles in marketing can improve business funding solutions. The application of Sharia Marketing Mix for Arrum BPKB financing has significantly increased customer interest and participation. Interviews with five MSME customers showed a marked increase in their daily and monthly income, confirming the effectiveness of this strategy in the real world. This study highlights the alignment of Shariah-compliant practices with customer needs and market dynamics. The findings underscore the importance of incorporating Shariah principles in marketing strategies in Islamic financial services. In practical terms, this approach not only helps in complying with ethical standards, but also enhances customer trust and financial inclusion for cash-strapped MSMEs. This study introduces new insights into the localised impact of Shariah marketing practices on MSME profitability, particularly in the Indonesian financial services context, and sets a precedent for further regional studies

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Staff Operational Functions and Non-Physical Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Semarang Project Management Center. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The sample in this research is all employees who are members of PT. PLN (Persero) Semarang Regional Project Management Center with 100 employees. The analytical method for this research uses multiple linear analysis techniques using SPSS version 26 software. The research results show that : (1) Human Resource Planning (2) Performance Appraisal (3) Payroll System (4) Non-Physical Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Employee performance. However, training shows a negative and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to enable researchers to determine the influence of democratic leadership style and work motivation on employee performance mediated by competency at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of East Tanjung Jabung Regency. This research uses the PLS analysis method. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the democratic leadership style is in the good category. Then for work motivation in the very high category. Furthermore, competency is in the Very High category. Meanwhile, employee performance is in the high category. Based on the research results, democratic leadership style has no significant effect on competence, work motivation has a significant and positive effect on competence, democratic leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Democratic leadership style does not have a significant effect on employee performance through competence and work motivation has a significant and positive effect on employee performance through competence in the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of East Tanjung Jabung Regency.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of memorable tourism experiences on revisit intention, mediated by tourists' fun at Sari Ater Hot Springs, Subang Regency. 120 experienced visitors to Sari Ater Hot Springs participated in this study, conducted through a cross-sectional method or a one-time data collection. The instruments have undergone validity and reliability tests by examining convergent validity, discriminant validity, and composite reliability through outer model measurements. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS version 3.0. Out of thirteen research hypotheses, eleven of them were supported by empirical data. Findings indicate that memorable tourism experiences positively influence fun, while fun, hedonism, and aesthetics positively impact revisit intention. Moreover, fun serves as a mediator between fun, meaningfulness, and aesthetics towards revisit intention. These findings are expected to contribute to future research and stakeholders in the tourism industry in designing relevant strategies to enhance the quality of these attributes.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to characterize coaching and mentoring, work motivation, and employee performance at the Bank BNI Muara Bungo Branch. Additionally, work motivation will be used as a mediating variable to examine the effects of coaching and mentoring on employee performance. Descriptive verification research is employed in this kind of study. This study aims to investigate the impact of mentoring on work motivation, which serves as a mediating variable for employee performance at the Bank BNI Muara Bungo Branch. The PLS analysis method is applied in this study. According to the Bank BNI Muara Bungo Branch's description of coaching, mentoring, work motivation, and employee performance, coaching demonstrates the right category, mentoring demonstrates the right category, work motivation demonstrates the high category, and employee performance demonstrates the high category. Counseling has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, according to the research findings. At the Bank BNI Muara Bungo Jambi Branch, mentoring significantly and favorably affects employee performance through work motivation, but coaching has no discernible impact on this.
