Abstract

Ecotourism has become a rapidly growing trend in the tourism industry, offering nature-based tourism experiences while also contributing to environmental conservation and empowering local communities. This research aims to identify opportunities and challenges for ecotourism development in Banyuwangi to drive business and economic growth, analyze its economic impacts, and formulate strategies to optimize the benefits of ecotourism sustainably. Through a systematic review of various empirical studies, this research reveals ecotourism opportunities in creating employment, attracting tourists with specific interests, and promoting conservation of local natural and cultural heritage. However, challenges faced include negative environmental impacts, cultural shifts within communities, and inadequate infrastructure. Recommended strategies include the application of sustainable principles, increased community involvement, infrastructure investment, technology utilization, multi-stakeholder partnerships, monitoring and evaluation, optimization model development, as well as increased awareness and education. This research provides valuable insights for stakeholders in optimizing the ecotourism potential in Banyuwangi to drive sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the factors that influence purchasing decisions for premium currency in mobile-based online games that are currently popular in Indonesia. In this case the author makes the online game Mobile Legends and Genshin Impact the object of research. This research was conducted using statistical testing methods on data from questionnaires that were successfully collected from 109 respondents. As a result, brand loyalty, user experience and sales promotions all have a significant positive effect on the purchase decision of premium currency in mobile-based online games either simultaneously or partially. Brand loyalty has the most significant influence compared to other variables due to the strong loyalty of Mobile Legends and Genshin Impact players. While sales promotion chooses the lowest effect due to the lack of promotion from both publishers and influencers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how operating costs, operating costs and net sales affected the net profits of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2021 and 2022. The focus of this research is explanatory research. The population of this study was mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research used probability sampling method which then collected 64 mining companies as samples that met the criteria inculuding: listed on the IDX, published financial reports as of December 31, and earned profits during the period of 2021-2022. The study used quantitative information and secondary data. The method for collecting data in this research is the measurement and testing method using financial report data from the IDX. This study adopted path analysis to analyze the data. The results of this research reveal that COGS, operating expenses, and net sales have a significant impact on net income. In addition, net income has a significant impact, while operating costs and COGS do not have an impact.

Abstract

Online flight and hotel ticket booking services are increasingly being used by Indonesians. There are several online travel platforms in Indonesia with the highest number of users, namely Traveloka and Agoda. This research aims to determine the effect of design and service quality on user satisfaction. User satisfaction will later be tested to see whether it influences website reuse intentions. In the presence of a moderating variable, interactions will be tested together with other variables. This research was conducted by providing an online survey to Agoda & Traveloka users with the sampling technique used was non-random with accidental sampling so that 120 respondents were obtained. The data analysis method used is SEM-PLS. The research results show that design quality influences satisfaction. Satisfaction influences website reuse intentions. However, interaction does not act as a mediator between these variables. These results can then be used as a reference for online utilization and improving the quality of websites in business.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of information quality and ease of use on purchasing decisions in Traveloka e-commerce through trust variable. This research was explanatory research. The population in this study were all consumers of Traveloka e-commerce in Jember Regency. This research technique applied non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The sample used in this study was 210 respondents who were at least 17 years and hadtransacted in Traveloka e-commerce. The method for collecting data in this study was the online survey using a questionnaire (Google Form). Path analysis was then applied as the analysis method in this study. The results show that information quality, ease of use and promotion have significant effect on trust. Moreover, the ease of use and trust have significant effect on purchashing decisions.

Abstract

Businesses focused on sustainable growth would consider intangible assets with unique characteristics that are difficult to imitate in order to provide their business a competitive edge to be the most valuable productive assets. The purpose of this study is to examine the role that the company's intangible assets—specifically, its social and intellectual capital—have in improving overall performance. Manufacturing companies listed on the IDX between 2016 and 2020 make up the study's population. In order to address current hypotheses, the analytical procedure consists of testing the measurement model and structural model. The study's findings demonstrate that intellectual capital directly improves a company's success. But it hasn't been demonstrated that other intangible assets, including social capital, have a direct effect on the firm performance. The results of this model are expected to contribute in improving corporate governance and increasing stakeholder trust in company performance.

Abstract

Customer loyalty plays a role in improving customer relationships with brands so that it has an impact on company sustainability. Brand communication and brand personality are one of the factors that encourage customer loyalty. The aim of this research is to confirm previous research models by examine the direct and indirect influence of brand communication and brand personality on customer loyalty. 204 users of the iPhone brand smartphone who had replaced or upgraded their smartphone with an iPhone were again the sample in this study. Data was collected by distributing closed questionnaires via Google Form. Regression with a mediation approach was used in this research as a data analysis method. The research results indicate brand communication and brand personality have a direct and indirect effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

Financial performance or profitability is very critical for a company. The financial performance can support management in making decisions. The better the financial performance, the higher the company value. This research aimed to determine the influence of corporate social responsibility and leverage on company performance. The method used in this research was a descriptive method using a quantitative approach. The sample selection applied in this research was a non-probability sampling technique using a purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique adopted the Multiple Linear Regression equation. Based on the research results, Corporate Social Responsibility has no effect on company performance. Transportation companies are encouraged to put more effort into implementing Corporate Social Responsibility in order to increase company value. Meanwhile, leverage for transportation companies is an important factor in improving company performance.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic caused the tourism industry to a drastic degression, in 2022 the tourism industry will bounce back because foreign tourists will return to Indonesia. To accelerate the economic growth of the tourism industry, it is necessary to improve services from employees working in the tourism sector. This can be done with support from the company and also work autonomy, so that Gen Z employees can adapt services to conditions in the field. This research aims to identify the Perceived Organizational Support (POS) and Autonomy of Work with the mediation of Self-efficacy (SE) and Sense of Personal Control can influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This research sample consists of generation Z frontline employees in the Tourism Industry. This research using quantitative methods with 411 respondents. This research using Structural Equation Model, LISREL tools to analyze mediating effects. The results of this research identify that Perceived Organizational Support, Autonomy of Work, Self-efficacy and Sense of Personal Control have a significant positive influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.
