Abstract

Background : The incidence of diarrhea is 22.117 in Semarang City in 2004 9.583 cases among then accured on children under five years. In the North Semarang, the incidence of diarrhea on children under five years is 617 cases. The factors influences of diarrhea occurrence are knowledge of mother the availability of sanitary facilities and personal hygiene practices.This research aim to identity the relationship between sanitation facilities and personal hygiene practices and the incidence of diarrhea on children under five years in Bandarharjo, Semarang CityMethod : This research is observational analytic method using cross sectional design. The number of sample are 39 mothers who have children under five years. Statistical analysis used Chi-Square test with á=5%.Result : Result of this research showed tha the incidence of diarrhea is 13 cases (33,3%) on children under five years. Respondents washed hands before eating and drinking is 34 (87,2%), respondents have never whashed hands after defecation is 25 (64,1%), respondents using of pit/latrine is 35 (89,7%), respondents using of source of proper drinking water is 28 (71,8%). This research was cocluded that it was o significant association between washing hands after defecation, using pti/latrine for defecation and diarrhea occurance on children under five years. It was a significant association between source of proper drinking water and diarrhea occurance on children under five years in Bandarharjo, Semarang.Keywords : Sanitation, hygiene, practice, diarrhea, children under five years

Abstract

ABSTRAKProgram pemerintah yang dikhususkan untuk para calon pekerja migran yaitu mengikuti PAP yang berisi materi wajib dan penunjang salah satunya berupa pemberian informasi dasar tentang kesehatan reproduksi dan HIV/AIDS. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi penyelenggaraan pembekalan akhir pemberangkatan (PAP) pada calon pekerja migran di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi dan diskusi kelompok terarah. Informan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 19 orang, analisa data menggunakan metode thematic content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petugas PAP telah memiliki pengetahuan tentang konsep PAP namun untuk pengetahuan tentang HIV/ AIDS masih terbatas, sehingga sikap petugas PAP tidak menganggap penting pemberian materi HIV/ AIDS pada calon pekerja migran formal. Hambatan pada pelaksanaan PAP yaitu tidak adanya ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Materi HIV/AIDS tidak sesuai dengan modul pegangan instruktur yang disampaikan hanya dengan metode ceramah dan tidak menggunakan media pengajaran. Tidak ada kerjasama lintas sektoral dengan Dinas Kesehatan dan KPA Provinsi NTB terkait pemberian informasi HIV/AIDS pada calon pekerja migran.Kata Kunci : pekerja migran, HIV/AIDSABSTRACTThe Final Departure Briefing (FDB) Implementation On The Prospective Migrant Workers In West Nusa Tenggara Province ; Government programs are devoted to the prospective migrant workers that is following the final departure briefing (FDB) which contains the compulsory and supporting material; one of them is basic information about reproductive health and HIV/AIDS. This study aims to evaluate the FDB implementation on the prospective migrant workers in West Nusa Tenggara Province. This study was qualitative research. The data collection was conducted by in-depth interview, observation and focus group discussion (FGD). Informan in this study were 19 subjects. The analysis of the data in this study used thematic content analysis method. The results of this study showed that is the official organization of the FDB implementation were the FDB officers have knowledge about FDB concept, but to knowledge about HIV/AIDS is still low, so the attitude of the FDB officers do not consider important material provision of HIV/AIDS on formal prospective migrant workers. Barriers the FDB implementation were unavailability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. HIV/ AIDS materials not appropriate with the reference module of instructors which presented by lecture method and also not using the media. There’s no cooperation with health authorities and AIDS Commission (KPA) in the process of FDB implementation related HIV/AIDS information to prospective migrant workers.Keywords : migrant workers, HIV/AIDS

Abstract

ABSTRAKStigma ODHA merupakan salah satu aspek yang dapat menghambat program pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS. Salah satu cara yang paling efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang HIV/AIDS adalah melalui pendidikan perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Yogyakarta dengan cukup banyak mahasiswa keperawatan yang pengetahuan, sikap dan keberadaan stigma ODHAnya belum pernah diteliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan rancangan crossectional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan sampel adalah proportional random sampling sejumlah 174 orang mahasiswa STIKES di Kota Yogyakarta yang dilakukan dari Oktober- Desember 2012. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden 55,2 % tidak menstigma ODHA dan sebanyak 44,8 % menstigma ODHA dan terdapat 2 variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap stigma ODHA yaitu sikap teman terhadap ODHA OR= 2,167 dan sikap orangtua terhadap ODHAOR= 2,097. Mahasiswa keperawatan dengan sikap teman dan sikap orangtua negatif terhadap ODHA memiliki kemungkinan menstigma ODHA lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa keperawatan yang memiliki sikap teman dan sikap orangtua positif terhadap ODHA.Kata kunci: Sikap Teman, Orangtua , Stigma, ODHA, Mahasiswa keperawatanABSTRACTThe influence of friends and parents attitude towards people living with HIV Stigma by Nursing Students STIKes in Yogyakarta; Stigma of PLHA is an aspect are disrupts the program of HIV / AIDS infection prevention. One most effective method to improve knowledge about HIV/AIDS is education at colleges. This study is carried out at Yogyakarta municipality whereby knowledge, attitudes about HIV/AIDS and the presence of stigma of PLHA among nursing student have never been observed.The aims of this research is to know and identify the factors influencing the existence of stigma by nursing student to PLHA.The study was descriptive cross sectional design. Data were collected by questioners using samples of proportional random sampling in which 174 nursing students in Yogyakarta municipality became the respondents during the research performed from October to December 2012.That most respondents 55.2% of respondents do not stigmatize of PLHA and 44.8% of the respondents stigmatizing PLHA and the study found two variables that had effects on stigmatized of PLHA are peers attitudes towards PLHA OR = 2.167 and parents’ attitudes towards PLHA OR = 2.097. Nursing students with negative peers attitudes and negative parents attitudes of PLHA had higher risk for stigma PLHA than Nursing students with positive peers attitudes and positive parents attitudes of PLHAKeywords: Peers attitudes, Parents, Stigma, PLHA, Nursing students

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe high death rate of mothers is a big problem in Indonesia. They died because of the great bleeding of anemia when they had pregnancy. At Bogor Tengah Puskesmas the prevalence of anemia of pregnant women is 63,63%. Whereas the scope of Fe 3 of pregnant mothers is 96.92%, it is related to the low compliance of pregnant women taking tablets Fe. The study aims to analyze the factor of knoeledge and attitude may be related to the compliance of pregnant women taking tablet Fe in the Bogor Tengah Puskesmas.This type of research is Explanatory Research with cross sectional approach, Subject of the study is all women in third semester of pregnancy at the Bogor Tengah Puskesmas, it is 53 women. The tool of collecting data is questionnaire. Data analysis in this research is the data analysis of univariate, bivariate data analysis with chi square. The result show that the most of respondent compliance consumption of tablet Fe is 60,4%. Multivariate analysis was not done because there is no related variables in this study. Public Health Center as the place closest to the public health service will need to provide information about important of taking tablet Fe to pregnant women through health promotion activities through Posyandu activities, ANC, class of pregnant women and health promotion activities that have been routinely implementedKeyword: Compliance, the pregnant mothers, tablet Fe

Abstract

ABSTRAKKampung Yepase tahun 2010-2011 mengalami penurunan kasus kematian ibu 100% dari 7,1% kasus. Namun terdapat 40% kasus kematian persalinan yang dilakukan oleh tenaga dukun. Cakupan gizi ibu hamil, BBLR dan gizi bayi masih < 50%. Tujuan penelitian memahami gambaran budaya Papua terkait perawatan kehamilan, nifas dan bayi di Distrik Depapre Kabupaten Jayapura. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif dengan subyek penelitian adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 0-3 tahun. Pengumpulan data melalui focus group discussion dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data menggunakan content analysis (analisis isi). Hasil penelitian menemukan adanya bentuk praktek budaya kehamilan, nifas dan bayi yang tidak mendukung dan mendukung kesehatan. Praktek budaya yang tidak mendukung pada kehamilan; ritual pemijatan (menguatkan dan mengatur peranakan usia pertama kehamilan, dan 5-6 bulan untuk mengatur jalan lahir dilakukan pada usia 9 bulan), anjuran bekerja keras, tidur larut malam menggunakan sarung di ruang terbuka (depan rumah), pantang makan makanan tertentu. Pada masa nifas: Ibu nifas diberikan ramuan daun untuk mencegah darah putih, mencegah perdarahan, dan mengeringkan luka, 2 hari pasca melahirkan dapat beraktifitas menggunakan cara tradisional dengan uap panas, tidak memerlukan pemeriksaanulang jika terjadi perdarahan berat. Kata Kunci : faktor Budaya, Perawatan kehamilan, nifas dan bayiABSTRACTCultural practices of Yepase Ethnic related to pregnancy, post-delivery, and infant treatments in Depapre District, Jayapura Regency; During 2010-2011 maternal mortality rate in Yepase Village decreased to 100% of 7.1 % cases. However, 40% of the deaths in delivery period were related to traditional healer practices. Nutrition rate for pregnant mothers, low weight birth, and infants were still under 50%. This study aimed to find out cultural illustration in Papua related to pregnancy, post-delivery, and infant treatments in Depapre District, Jayapura Regency. The study applied a qualitative method with focus group discussion (FGD) and in-depth interview data collection.Data were analyzed by a content analysis technique. Results of the study showed cultural practices, which supported and did not support pregnancy, post-delivery, and infant treatments. The cultural practices that support the pregnancy treatments included massage rituals (strengthening andarranging infant during the first year of pregnancy, and 5-6 months of pregnancy, and enabling delivery in the 9th month of pregnancy), working hard advice for pregnant mothers, outdoor late sleep using sarung (in front of house), and diet prohibition. The cultural practices that did not support post-delivery treatment included traditional leaf-made medicines to prevent white blood, bleeding, and to dry wounds two days after the delivery to enable the mothers to go back to their daily activities, with no treatments when the mothers suffered bleeding.Keywords: cultural factors, treatments for pregnancy, post-delivery, and infant

Abstract

Background: Male participation in Family Planning in Indonesia was still low. Indonesian Demographic Health Survey 2002 showed 4.4% man participation in family planning acceptors and only 4.3% in Bantul. The aim of this research was to know factors related man participation in family planning program, in Jetis Sub District, Bantul, 2008.Method: The study is an explanatory research with a survey research method using a cross sectional approach. The samples of this study were 100 participants of reproductive age from 9.074 of reproductive age chosen by multistage random sampling. Data analyses of this study were univariate, bivariate by chi square and multivariate by logistic regression for quantitative method and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) used for qualitative method.Result: The result of this study showed there were relation between knowledge of man participation in family planning, attitude for man participation in family planning, perceived of man participation in family planning, wife attitude for man participation in family planning, wife practice for man participation in family planning, friend attitude for man participation in family planning, friend practice for man participation in family planning with man participation in family planning. Variables of education and service access for man participation in family planning not related with man participation in family planning. The obstacle in social value related with man participation in family planning, like family planning was forbidden,family planning was a women area, a boy has a higher value than a girl, and domain of areluctant factor. Wife practice for man participation in family planning was the most related Independent variable.Keywords: participation, man, family, planning

Abstract

Community Health Care Insurance (JPKM) has been developed since 1992 and it is the embryo of National Social Security System based on Acts No.40 year 2004. Purbalingga is a district in Indonesia has developed JPKM since 2002 and has commitment to reach universal coverage by the year 2012. This research aims to analyze several factors that influence the informal community participation on JPKM Kejobong, Purbalingga. Survey method used cross sectional approach. Sample making through random proportional technique with amount 100 respondents. Data processing attained through quantitative univariat, bivariat and multivariat method. While data analyze used logistic regression with chi square test. The research results show that JPKM coverage among informal community in Kejobong still low (43%) and 57% respondents not enrolled. The reasons not enrolled respondents are inability (42.1%), knowledge (21.1%), poor public health service (22.8%) and others (14%). Factors proved influence are amount of family, knowledge, attitude and cadre role.

Abstract

Background: Maternal and Child Care is one of factors to reduce Maternal Mortality Rate. This service needs sufficient supports, i.e. antenatal care guideline, health personnel, and its facilities. A pregnant mother is required to have a minimum of 4 times of Antenatal Care within her pregnancy, i.e. 3rd month, 6th month, 7th and 9th month. Compared to other health centers, Tegal Barat II Health Center recorded lower rate on Antenatal Visitors Rate or about 60%. Meanwhile, the national standard requires 90% of Antenatal Visitors Rate. This research aimed to explain the association between maternal perception on maternal and child carefacilities and antenatal care (K4).Method: This research was an explanatory research, utilizing cross sectional approach. Forty five respondents were taken from mothers who have babies less than 3 months old and visited the health centers. Questionnaires were utilized to gather the data, and the analysis wasconducted based on descriptive as well as analytic.Result: Result showed that out of 45 respondents: 53.3% had perception that antenatal guideline book was not interesting, 17.8% said that health personnel had to examine fundus height metrically, and 93.3% said that all pregnant women had to obtain Fe tablets from health center. Variables that significantly associated with antenatal care (K4) were maternal perception on antenatal care guideline (at p-value: 0.012) and maternal perception on antenatal care facilities (at p-value: 0.0001). Meanwhile, maternal perception on health personnel (at p-value: 0.161) was not associated with antenatal care. It was concluded and recommendedthat the performance of Antenatal Care Guideline and Antenatal Care Facilities must be improved.Keywords: Antenatal care, service quality.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKasus AIDS di Indonesia triwulan kedua tahun 2010 secara komulatif adalah 21.770 kasus. Pada tahun 2010 sampai april 2011 didapatkan ibu hamil dengan HIV/AIDS yang datang memeriksakan diri ke RSUD Dr. Soedono Madiun berjumlah 3 orang ibu dengan HIV/AIDS. Pelaksanaan PMTCT masih belum maksimal hal tersebut dikarenakan masih adanya sikap kurang mendukung yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman tentang HIV/AIDS dan PMTCT. Sehingga harus selalu dilaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi, pengarahan dan pendampingan waktu pelayanan kepada ibu hamil dengan HIV/AIDS. Penelitian dengan kualitatif diskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara secara mendalam dan observasi pelaksanaan praktik pelayanan PMTCT pada ibu hamil di RSUD. Dr. Soedono Madiun. Hasil peneitian menunjukkan bahwa responden telah mengetahui tentang HIV/AIDS dan PMTCT tetapi belum memahaminya sehingga dalam pelaksanaan pelayanan PMTCT masih belum maksimal oleh karena itu peru adanya sosialisasi dan pendampingan oleh organisasi provesi pada saat pelayanan kepada ibu hamil dalam kegiatan PMTCT di RSUD.Dr.Soedono Madiun.Kata Kunci:Pelayanan PMTCT, ibu hamil, perilaku bidan.ABSTRACTAIDS cases in Indonesiain the second quarterof 2010 was 21 770 cumulative cases. The collection of data using in-depth interviews and observation practice simplementation of PMTCT services for pregnant women in hospitals Dr. Soedono Madiun. Field work results indicate that the respondents knew about HIV/AIDS and PMTCT but have not understood that the implementation of PMTCT services is still not maximized, there fore Perusocialization and mentoring by provesi organization at the service to pregnant women in PMTCT activities in RSUD.Dr.Soedono Madiun.Keywords: PMTCT services, pregnant women, midwives behavior.

Abstract

The Pimp give support to FSWs in used condom for prevent STDS and HIV/AIDS inBatursari Brothel Batangan District Pati; Regular checking of health to FSWs show STDSin Batursari brothel average 95% that is indicator condom used in this Brothel is very lowed.Should be The Pimp give support to FSWs in used condom for prevent STDS and HIV/AIDS.Aim of this study was to identification pimp practice with give support condom use to FSWfor prevent HIV/AIDS in Batursari Brothel Batangan District Pati. This research was adescriptive study with qualitative approach. Pimp respondent included 8 people, fortriangulation included 8 FSWs and 8 FSWs customers. This research showed that Pimpsknowledge of HIV/AIDS still low and knowledge of condom used function is good, pimpsattitude to condom used is support and agree, Pimp practiced for supported condom use toFSWs have advice and remembered to FSW, Condom supply in brothel decreased, informationof media about condom in brothel is decreased, have been supported from peer group, havebeen supported health officer and have been supported the lead of Gajah Asri foundation.Â
